Les Bleues ont rendez-vous deux fois avec l’Angleterre dans le cadre des qualifications pour l’EURO 2025. Les protégées d’Hervé Renard pointent en tête de leur groupe éliminatoire avec six points au compteur après leurs succès sur la République d’Irlande (1-0) et la Suède (1-0). Les Anglaises, elles, sont deuxièmes avec quatre points.

La dernière double confrontation entre les championnes olympiques en titre et les Mexicaines, en novembre 2021, a accouché d’une victoire 2-1 d’El Tri Femenil et d’un match nul 0-0.

"Nous savons qu'aux Jeux Olympiques, nous serons confrontées à des équipes de très haut niveau, il est donc important de se préparer en jouant contre des adversaires de même calibre", a déclaré la sélectionneuse néo-zélandaise Jitka Klimková à propos de ces rencontres disputées en Espagne. "Le Japon a été impressionnant lors de la Coupe du Monde Féminine et nous donnera du fil à retordre avec un style de jeu différent de celui auquel nous avons été confrontées lors de nos dernières rencontres."

"Ce sera génial d'avoir Emma pour les matches de juin", a déclaré la sélectionneuse par intérim Twila Kilgore. "Nous avons besoin d'autant de matches de qualité que possible avant les Jeux Olympiques, et la République de Corée sera un bon test."

La Fédération n’a pas annoncé de matches amicaux pour la fenêtre internationale des mois de mai et juin. En avril, les Copper Queens se sont qualifiées pour les Jeux Olympiques en battant le Maroc , huitième de finaliste du dernier Mondial, 3-2 sur l’ensemble des deux matches.

À l’instar de la France et de l’Espagne, les deux autres équipes européennes qualifiées pour Paris 2024, l’Allemagne est première de son groupe qualificatif pour l’EURO 2025 avant d’affronter deux fois la Pologne. Les joueuses de Horst Hrubesch ont battu l’Autriche 3-2 grâce notamment à un doublé de Klara Bühl et l’Islande 3-1 avec notamment deux buts signés Lea Schüller.

19 June 2023 21:24. The 80th edition of the UCI WorldTour Tour de Pologne was presented live on TVP Sport today, unveiling a brand new route full of great new features. This year the Tour de Pologne celebrates three anniversaries: 95 years since its foundation, the 80th edition of the race and 30 years of the Lang Team.
The 81st Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour will kick off in Wrocław. March 8, 2024.
The 2023 Tour de Pologne was the 80th edition of the Tour de Pologne road cycling stage race, which was part of the 2023 UCI World Tour. It began on the 29th of July in Poznań and finished on the 4th of August in Kraków .
The first stage of the 80th Tour de Pologne will start in Poznań, the largest city in Wielkopolska, founded in the 10th century. The entire stage will take place in this province, with a spectacular finish on the track of the Automobil Klub in Poznań, which, like the Polish race, will celebrate a special anniversary in 2023.
