Dave Chappelle adds Fort Worth stop to his abbreviated Texas stand-up tour
The controversial comedian, actor, screenwriter and television and film producer will also be in dallas on june 29..

Dave Chappelle’s stand-up comedy show is coming to five Texas venues, including American Airlines Center in Dallas on June 29 and Dickies Arena in Fort Worth on June 30.
“Dave Chappelle Live” will also be at the Toyota Center in Houston on July 1, the AT&T Center in San Antonio on July 12 and the Moody Center in Austin on July 14. Each show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are available at ticketmaster.com . No cellphones, cameras or recording devices are allowed at the shows.
Chappelle wrapped up a five-date tour with comedian Chris Rock in January. In 2013, Chappelle headlined the Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival at the then-Gexa Energy Pavilion. He also performed at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving in 2017.

The comedian, actor, screenwriter and television and film producer has come under recent criticism for his stance against so-called cancel culture. His 2021 Netflix special The Closer drew particular condemnation from the trans community.
He performed Friday at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia, as did comedians Michael Che and Jon Stewart. The Roots were the house band in the movie Dave Chappelle’s Block Party (2005) before they went on to back Jimmy Fallon.
Chappelle has received five Emmy awards , including three for his Netflix comedy specials Sticks & Stones (2020) and Equanimity & The Bird Revelation (2018) and two for hosting Saturday Night Live (2017 and 2021). He has won four Grammy awards, including best comedy album from 2018 to 2020. He won the first for his double album The Age Of Spin & Deep In The Heart Of Texas .

Please Note: This event will be a phone-free experience. Use of phones will not be permitted in the performance space.
Upon arrival at the venue, phones will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times, and can access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the venue. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space.
All pouches and equipment are routinely sanitized. The Yondr staff is trained and required to follow safety guidelines and hygiene protocols to practice social distancing, minimal contact and wear required personal protective equipment.
Anyone seen using a device during the performance will be escorted out of the venue by security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free experience.

Dave Chappelle announces fall dates for his stand-up comedy tour
Dave Chappelle will hit the road this fall in a stand-up comedy tour called Dave Chappelle Live, announced exclusively July 25 on TODAY.
The tour opens with a pair of dates at New York City’s Madison Square Garden and wraps up at Chicago's United Center.

Tickets will be available beginning with local presales on July 26, while the general sale kicks off July 27 at 10 a.m. local time at Ticketmaster.com.
A five-time Emmy Award winner with a provocative approach to a wide range of subjects, Chappelle was honored with the 2019 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. He also won the Grammy Award for best comedy three consecutive years, from 2018 through 2020.
Chappelle made headlines when a man attempted to attack him onstage during a 2022 show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. That man was later sentenced to 270 days in jail .
“He refuses to allow last night’s incident to overshadow the magic of this historic moment,” his rep said of Chappelle in a statement after the incident, while noting the show tied him with comedy troupe Monty Python as the comedians who have headlined the most performances at the Hollywood Bowl.

The award-winning comedian, actor, screenwriter and producer is bringing his stand-up comedy show “Dave Chappelle Live” to four Texas cities this July.

Tickets will go on sale today, June 5 at 5 p.m. CT at ticketmaster.com .
No cell phones, cameras, or recording devices will be allowed at the show. Upon arrival, all phones and smart watches will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests will maintain possession of their phones throughout the night and, if needed, may access their phones at designated Yondr unlocking stations in the lobby. Anyone caught with a cell phone in the venue will be immediately ejected.

Dave Chappelle’s Texas Tour
Dave Chappelle is coming to Texas for a whirlwind tour of the Lonestar state. His first stop is in Dallas at the AAC on the June 29th and he’ll also travel to Dickies Arena in Fort Worth on the 30th, then he’ll head down to Houston at the Toyota center on July 1st.
The tour takes a break between July 2nd and July 11th but then starts back up again on July 12th when he’ll be at AT&T Center in San Antonio. Then he’ll finish the tour with 2 dates of shows at Moody Center in Austin.
If you want tickets to the shows you’ll need to get into the Ticketmaster que fast and make your decisions on seats quickly. 24-hours after the Dallas show went on sale only 3 individual seats were left.
We were able to get into the que for the Dickies show in Fort Worth and with in the first couple of minutes almost all of the seats near the stage were sold out. The front row seats going for $845 / each.

AUSTIN (KXAN) — After selling out the first date, comedian Dave Chappelle will have a second show in Austin this summer, the Moody Center announced Wednesday.
Chappelle will perform at Austin’s Moody Center on July 14 and July 15. The July 15 show was announced Wednesday morning.
Chappelle’s Austin dates are one of several Texas shows this summer. Chappelle is also going to perform in June and July in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. Currently, his only other scheduled show, aside from the Texas dates, is Monday, June 5, at San Francisco’s Punch Line Comedy Club.

Chappelle recorded a Netflix special “Deep in the Heart of Texas: Dave Chappelle Live at Austin City Limits” at the Moody Theatre in 2017.
He also performed with Joe Rogan in a series of shows in January 2021 at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater.

Comedian Dave Chappelle is coming to Fort Worth. Here’s where to buy tickets
Dave Chappelle is bringing the funny to Fort Worth.
The stand-up comedian and actor is coming to Dickies Arena on June 30 . Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Chappelle announced last week that he would be embarking on a Texas tour with stops in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Austin. However, his Fort Worth show was just announced on Tuesday.
Known for “Chappelle’s Show” and “Half Baked,” the comedian has released a number of comedy specials in the last decade. Chappelle’s latest stand-up special titled “What’s in a Name” released on Netflix last year.
Chappelle’s Texas tour kicks off in Dallas on June 29, followed by Fort Worth on June 30, then Houston on July 1, San Antonio on July 12 and wraps up in Austin on July 14. All shows start at 7:30 p.m.
