This is what we do for our teams:

We play 1hr 45 min finish the inning. We supply game balls. We try to have the best umpires available. We give out awesome prizes. (rings, belts, chains, medals, ribbons, necklaces)

To play in our events you must do 2 things,1) Submit the team info form at the bottom of the tournament page. 2) Pay. Here are details on how to do both. Scroll down through the tournaments to find one you are interested in. There are multiple pages. Find one you like and click “Read more”. The registration form will be at the bottom of the page.

Payment- You can pay by cc using the “Pay Entry Fee” button on the tournament page or send payment using Venmo & @Premierathleticsusa.You can also send checks to Premier Athletics 5 Grandview Dr Mineral Wells, Wv 26150.. Please add notes stating team/name/event of the tournament you are paying for. All tournaments will either have a gate fee ($100/day) or admission charge ($5 to $7 per adult) at the gate. That decision will be made closer to schedule time as we see total teams, man power to cover all venues, and the cost of field rental for us..

4th Annual Backyard Brawl I

05/20 to 05/21/2023

Tournament Info

The Backyard Brawl is a 4 game guarantee baseball tournament taking place in West Virginia, hosted by AC Baseball. Games will be played in both Morgantown and Bridgeport, West Virginia. 9U,10U, 13U and 15U divisions will play at the Bridgeport Sports Complex while 11U, 12U, and 14U divisions will play at Mylan Park. There will be some crossover for all ages 9U thru 13U.

Pool Play Games will begin Saturday morning at 8AM and continue throughout Saturday. On Sunday, all teams will advance into Bracket Play. Typically teams will play 2-3 Pool Play games before advancing to Bracket Play.

Quick Tournament Facts

• Last year featured over 50 teams from 4 different states
• Baseballs: 3 new baseballs will be provided to the umpires before each game
• 4 Game Guarantee
• Please review tournament rules prior to the tournament
• Coaches will be able to nominate players for the All Star Game throughout the weekend.
• Pool Play Games will begin Saturday morning at 8am and continue throughout Saturday. On Sunday, all teams will advance into Bracket Play. 
• Typically teams will play 2-3 Pool Play games before advancing to Bracket Play.
• 9U, 10U, 13U, 15U  will be played at the Bridgeport Sports Complex

Bridge Sports Complex

Bridgeport Recreation Complex is a 4 field complex located in Bridgeport, West Virginia. Each field features amenities including irrigated grass areas, bullpens, and 2 batting cages. There is also a restroom/concession/press box building on site.

The first floor includes: a large concession stand with three serving windows; large restrooms; family restroom; and office.The second floor press box area includes an umpire changing room, restroom, and the scorekeepers’ station overlooking each field is equipped with an intercom to the dugouts, loudspeaker system, and scoreboard controls.

Field #1 – Large Baseball Field, sponsored by The Thrasher Group, Inc.

Grass infield, 90’ baselines, Outfield fence 325’ in right and left fields, 375’ in center field.

Field #2 – Youth Baseball and Softball Field

Outfield fence at 225’, Skinned infield, Baselines at 60’, 65’ , No metal or steel cleats on portable mounds

Field #3 – Baseball and Softball Field

Skinned Infield, Outfield fence at 325’ in right and left fields, 375’ in center field, Baselines at 60’, 65’, 70’ and 90’, No metal or steel cleats on portable mounds

Field #4 – Youth Baseball Field, sponsored by Bridgeport Little League

The Anker Fields Complex is home to several schools and community teams and has hosted a variety of tournaments. The complex is comprised of four natural grass fields, ticket offices, press boxes, batting cages, a pavilion, full-service concessions, and ample spectator seating for each field. This venue is capable of hosting large baseball and softball tournaments.

WVSSAC Baseball: Four area teams punch tickets to West Virginia State Baseball Tournament

GoMart Ballpark will be the site of the West Virginia High School State Baseball Tournament next week. (WCHS)

CHARLESTON, W. Va. (WCHS) — GoMart Ballpark will be the site of the West Virginia High School State Baseball Tournament next week.

Four area teams - Cabell Midland (AAA), Herbert Hoover (AA), Winfield (AA) and Buffalo (A) qualified with regional victories on Wednesday.

Besides Midland, Morgantown and Martinsburg are also coming to Charleston in Class AAA.

The Class AA field also will include Frankfort and Independence.

In Class A, East Hardy, Charleston Catholic and Williamstown join Buffalo to make up the four-team field.

The state tournament will be May 30-June 1.
