Since the group's formation in 1973, JOURNEY has earned 19 top 40 singles, 25 gold and platinum albums, and has sold over 100 million albums globally. Don't Stop Believin': Journey to play Fresno's Save Mart Center during 2023 tour

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Believe it: Journey is coming to Fresno.

The legendary band is going on the road with their 50th Anniversary Celebration Freedom Tour 2023, and they will be making a stop at the Save Mart Center on April 23, 2023.

Fans can expect to sing along to the group's biggest hits including "Wheel in the Sky," "Any Way You Want It," and "Don't Stop Believin'."

Journey will be joined on-stage by special guests, Toto, known for their hits "Africa" and "Rosanna."

Tickets go on sale Friday, October 21 at 10am at ticketmaster.com and at the arena Box Office beginning at 12 noon.

JOURNEY and TOTO previously joined forces for an early 2022 U.S. arena tour.

JOURNEY is continuing to promote its latest album, "Freedom" , which was released in July via BMG . The LP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Current Rock chart.

The members of JOURNEY celebrated the album's release by kicking off a residency featuring special symphony orchestra performances at the new, state-of-the-art Resorts World Casino in Las Vegas.

Journey Announce Huge 2023 North American Tour With Toto

Journey and Toto had such a great time touring together in 2022, they're going to do it together again in 2023. The two legendary rock bands will share the stage on the continuation of Journey's 50th anniversary "Freedom Tour."

The new batch of dates start Feb. 4 in Allentown, Pa., keeping the bands on the road through the April 25 finale in Palm Springs, Calif. You can see all of the dates, cities and venues listed below. It should also be noted that a handful of shows are ones that have been rescheduled from earlier this year when the band had to postpone dates due to COVID-19.

Journey are returning to the road in 2023 for a 38-city North American tour with Toto .

“Freedom Tour 2023” will kick off on February 4th in Allentown, PA, and make subsequent stops in cities including Austin, Montreal, Toronto, Memphis, and Washington, DC. The trek will wrap on April 25th in Palm Springs, California.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 21st at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster . A Live Nation pre-sale begins on Thursday, Oct 20th at the same time (use access code PUMPKIN ).

In July, Journey released their first new album of original recordings in 11 years, titled Freedom . Around the time of its release, founding member and guitarist Neal Schon sat down with Kyle Meredith to talk about the album and being influenced by Chaka Khan, Prince, and Jimi Hendrix.

Big Fresno Fair announces latest concert line-up

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – The Big Fresno Fair organizers announced the lineup for both Sundays of the 2024 fair on Tuesday.

Organizers say that El Flaco vs El Mimoso will be on Oct. 6 and then Calibre 50 with Banda Carnaval will be on Oct. 13, as part of the Table Mountain Concert Series in the Paul Paul Theater.

The show will join a line-up that already consists of Walker Hayes, Sugar Ray, The Righteous Brothers, G-Eazy, and Dwight Yoakam.

Organizers say “El Flaco,” aka Luis Angel, is a Banda singer who was the former frontman for  Banda Los Recoditos . “El Mimoso,” Luis Antonio López Flores, was once a vocalist for Don Cruz Lizárraga’s widely-adored Banda El Recodo. The now 44-year-old sings his own songs and renditions of the classics of banda and any of the various interrelated Mexican musical styles.

Calibre 50 is an award-winning Norteño quartet from Mazatlan, Sinaloa founded in 2010, according to organizers.

Organizers say Banda Carnaval is a regional Mexican band from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, whose teen-oriented banda style is heavy on cumbias and “románticas”.

Tickets for these concerts will go on sale first to Big Fair Fan Club members, the fair’s free email newsletter, as part of an online-only pre-sale starting on Thursday at 10 a.m. and going until Sunday, June 23 at 11:59 p.m.

Organizers say during this time, any BFF Club member who purchases a Fair concert ticket can also purchase a Fair admission ticket for 50% off; discounted admission and concert tickets must be purchased in the same transaction. Tickets will then go on sale to the general public (online only) beginning Monday, June 24 at 10 a.m.

Journey and Heart tribute band coming to NYS Fair September 2

SYRACUSE N.Y. — For those who are fans of Journey and Heart, a two-for-one tribute band will be performing at the New York State Fair this year.

Journey From the Heart will have back-to-back performances at the Chevy Court stage on September 2. The popular tribute band plays many songs from the two iconic rock bands, from "Don't Stop Believin" and "Separate Ways" to "Barracuda" and "Magic Man."

Josh Ross, Canada's breakout country star, coming to NYS Fair Chevy Court August 30

Lead singer Ryan Christopher has been described as the closest thing to Steve Perry while vocalist Shareen Ann is said to be a perfect portrayal of Ann Wilson.

The band will be performing at both noon and 4 p.m.

The Fair starts Wednesday, August 21, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 2. All concerts are included in the price of admission, which will go on sale later this summer.
