Today, four-time GRAMMY® award-winning and diamond-certified rock legends Aerosmith announce their return to the road with PEACE OUT™ featuring special guests The Black Crowes, who are fresh off their first release in nearly 15 years, HAPPINESS BASTARDS. Additionally, a very special one-night-only performance from Teddy Swims is set at the tour kickoff in Pittsburgh, PA. Fans first heard that one of the most significant American rock bands in history were embarking on their final tour with a special announcement video celebrating this not-to-be-missed final tour.

Every night will pay homage to the five decades of Aerosmith’s groundbreaking hits as they celebrate over 50 years as America’s greatest rock band. In addition, THX will bring their THX Certified Live! high-fidelity experience on the road, calibrating each arena with leading-edge technology so fans don’t miss a beat of Aerosmith’s classic rock tunes in quality audio.

Aerosmith's 'Peace Out' Tour to stop in Cleveland and Columbus

Aerosmith fans in northern Ohio will have a chance to say goodbye to the band before it retires.

After some 50 years, the band is venturing out for what is being billed as its farewell tour and Cleveland is among the planned 40 North American stops.

Aerosmith with bring its Peace Out Tour to the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland on Sept. 21.

Tickets for the Cleveland show will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at rocketmortgagefieldhouse.com .

The tour will also stop in Columbus at the Schottenstein Center on Jan. 23.

The band was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland in 2001.

It is estimated that some 100 million fans have watched the band perform its hits including "Crazy" and "Janie's Got A Gun" live in concert.

Band members including guitarist Joe Perry, frontman Steven Tyler, bassist Tom Hamilton, drummer Joey Kramer and guitarist Brad Whitford are part of the tour. 

The Black Crowes will also perform at the concerts.

“It’s not goodbye it’s PEACE OUT!" the band announced on Monday. "Get ready and walk this way, you’re goingto get the best show of our lives.”

Aerosmith Announce Rescheduled Dates for Peace Out Farewell Tour

Aerosmith have announced rescheduled dates for their Peace Out farewell tour, which was suspended in September 2023 because Steven Tyler fractured his larynx. This new leg kicks off Sept. 20 in Pittsburgh and wraps up Feb. 26 in Buffalo, New York. They’ll once again be joined by the Black Crowes.

The band announced plans to wrap their career with one final tour in May 2023, but they played a mere three shows before Tyler severely hurt his larynx. “I am heartbroken to not be out there with Aerosmith, my brothers, and the incredible Black Crowes, rocking with the best fans in the world,” he wrote in a message to fans. “I promise we will be back as soon as we can!”

Produced by Live Nation, the monumental 40-date North American tour will include 3 news shows in addition to the rescheduled dates. Aerosmith announced the re-scheduling of its Cleveland stop in their “Peace Out” farewell tour this fall. The Cleveland date has been moved from Saturday, Sept. 21 to Sunday, Sept. 29. Major third-party websites have tickets available for not only Cleveland’s show, but surrounding cities.

“Aerosmith is calling it a career with their 2023 “Peace Out” Tour stopping at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Thursday, September 21. Tickets for the show start at $59.95 and go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 4 at Seat Geek. The Black Crowes will open.

Aerosmith is 50 years, 10 world tours, 150 million albums sold and a 2001 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction into its storied career. Its catalog includes rock-radio staples such as “Walk This Way,” and “Love In An Elevator.”

One important thing for hardcore fans to know: The band announced that drummer Joey Kramer will not appear on the tour.

“While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health. Joey’s unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed.”

No word on who will replace Kramer behind the drum kit.”

We’ve got important news for Aerosmith fans that “don’t want to miss a thing.”

Following Steven Tyler’s sustained vocal injury at a Sept. 9 concert in Long Island, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers officially announced rescheduled tour dates for six shows on their ‘Peace Out Farewell Tour.’

“I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days,” Tyler shared on Instagram . “I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve.”

The new show dates will take place in late January and early February 2024.

According to the band’s Instagram account, “All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates” and “Refunds will be available for those unable to attend.”

If you’re in New York or New Jersey, you don’t need to worry about your show dates — nothing has changed.

Aerosmith’s concerts are still set for Dec. 28 at Newark’s Prudential Center , Buffalo, NY’s KeyBank Center Jan. 16, 2024 and New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Jan. 19, 2024.

The original Aerosmtih lineup won’t be fully intact on this run of concerts.

Yes, lead singer Steven Tyler, guitarist Joe Perry, bassist Tom Hamilton and rhythm guitarist Brad Whitford are slated to perform at all shows.

However, drummer Joey Kramer will be sitting this run of shows out to “focus his attention on his family and health” according to  AP News .

Kramer, 72, will be replaced by John Douglas who has drummed with the band since 2019.

Aerosmith postpones Cleveland stop of PEACE OUT tour after Steven Tyler damages vocal cords

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Steven Tyler announced he is “heartbroken” over having to postpone several shows on Aerosmith’s PEACE OUT tour after suffering damage to his vocal cords.

The 4-time Grammy winners were scheduled to a stop in Cleveland to perform at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Sept. 21.

That concert has been rescheduled for Feb. 29, 2024.

Aerosmith confirmed that all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates, and refunds will be available for those unable to attend.

Questions regarding refunds should be directed to the company the fans purchased the tickets from.

Florida Aerosmith fans will wait just a bit longer to finally say peace out  to the iconic rock band.

The rockers, who postponed their Peace Out farewell tour  after only a few shows in September, will return for a 40-date run starting Sept. 20 of this year.

Three Florida shows are included in this new schedule, all seeing dates in the early half of 2025. As with the original dates,  The Black Crowes  will open for Aerosmith.

The new dates for the Florida shows are:

• Friday, Feb. 14 - Tampa, Amelie Arena
• Monday, Feb. 17 - Sunrise, Amerant Bank Arena

In addition to rescheduling the tour, the band added three cities: Pittsburgh, Orlando and Philadelphia, where their tour kicked off last September.

The Orlando date is Tuesday, Feb. 11 at the Kia Arena, recently renamed from the Amway Center.

Why did Aerosmith have to postpone 2023 tour dates? What happened to Steven Tyler?

On Sept. 12, Tyler initially  announced  that he had a severe vocal injury that occurred during Aerosmith's Saturday show in Long Island, New York.

“I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days,” Tyler, 75, said in a  statement  released by the band on Monday. “I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve.

However, the band shared in a statement two weeks later that said “Unfortunately, Steven’s vocal injury is more serious than initially thought. His doctor has confirmed that in addition to the damage to his vocal cords, he fractured his larynx which requires ongoing care.”

They shared the rock icon was receiving the best medical treatment available to ensure his recovery is swift, but "given the nature of a fracture, he is being told patience is essential.”

All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates, while tickets for the new shows will go on sale at 10 a.m. local time April 12 via  ticketmaster.com .

For those who previously purchased tickets and cannot attend the rescheduled concerts, refunds will be available at point of purchase. A series of VIP packages are also available at  aerosmith.com/VIP.

Are all original Aerosmith members on tour?

Original drummer  Joey Kramer  will be sitting out the band's final tour. John Douglas, Aerosmith's former drum tech, is filling Kramer's seat.

“While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health. Joey’s unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed,” the band said in a statement.

However, fans can look forward to Tyler's yowl and his fellow Toxic Twin, Joe Perry, on the guitar. Brad Whitford and Tom Hamilton remain on guitar and bass.
