Most of the travel wallets in our review list are made from water-resistant synthetic materials, which are ideal for anyone worried about getting caught in the rain (or even ruined by a splash of spilt coffee). But we’ve also covered a few travel wallets made in faux or real leather, for that extra look of sophistication!

Do you want your travel wallet to contain RFID-protection ? Firstly, let’s explain exactly what RFID stands for: Radio-Frequency Identification Devices. Basically, the wallets that promise RFID-protection stop electronic pickpockets from stealing your data by scanning the data stored on credit cards, identity cards, and even in passports, which could then be used to spend, spend, spend, or even duplicate your identity. You have been warned!

Frequency of use

If you’re only going to use your travel wallet once or twice a year, you’re probably going to be looking for a travel wallet at the lower end of the price bracket. However, if you’re a regular traveler, you definitely do get what you pay for, so keep this in mind when working out how to choose the best travel wallet for you!

Still have some questions? No problem! We’ve listed and answered the most commonly asked questions below. Here’s what people usually want to know:

The 10 Best Travel Wallets for Globetrotting

Best Travel Wallets 00 Hero

By: Tim Huber Published: Jun 21, 2023

When traveling , one of, if not the single most important item we carry, is our passport. These government-issued identification and travel documents are vital to international travel and are almost always required when crossing borders. This alone makes passports essential to keep secure and protected — and that’s before factoring in the rampant black market for passports that drives the theft of these items and results in literally millions of passports being stolen annually.

With mandates being lifted across the planet and international travel now opening back up for the first time in several years, it seems like the perfect time to revisit the world of travel and passport wallets. Below, we’ll not only be counting down our choices for the best travel and passport wallets currently on the market, but we’ll also be delving into the main factors to consider when shopping for one.

The Seven Main Factors To Consider When Buying A Travel Wallet

Though travel and passport wallets are admittedly fairly straightforward items, there are a surprising number of minor details one should be privy to before making their purchase. Below, we’ve outlined seven of the most crucial areas to consider when shopping for a passport wallet.

Materials: Arguably the most important factor to consider when purchasing a travel wallet is the material — or materials — used to create it. This element will not only play a substantial role in the look and feel of a given travel wallet but will also determine its durability and much of its overall quality. Not unlike regular wallets, passport wallets now come in a slew of different materials, from more traditional constructions to cutting-edge fabrics and textiles.

Construction Technique(s): Just as important as the materials being utilized is how those materials are pieced together — also known as a construction technique. Today’s travel wallets feature a variety of construction techniques, from traditional stitching to laser-welds.

Closure: Most travel wallets on the market open up to reveal a passport and other vital travel essentials. As such, the majority of these items feature some type of closure system to hold them shut when not being used. This includes everything from zippers to snap buttons to embedded magnets.

Amenities & Organization: Though a travel wallet’s main job is typically to protect your passport, plenty of models on the market also boast additional travel-focused features and amenities. This includes pockets and organizers for stashing things like credit cards , boarding passes, and other tickets, as well as pen loops, key leashes, and holders for Airtags and tracking devices. And, not unlike regular EDC wallets, a great many of the travel-specific wallets currently being sold also feature RFID protection.

Size: Because most travel wallets are built to accommodate a passport, they unsurprisingly tend to sport a rectangular, semi-passport-shaped profile. With that said, there are travel wallets that offer storage and organization for other essentials for globetrotting — like key cards, boarding passes, SD cards, licenses, and other documents. What’s more, there are also family and group-oriented travel wallets that include slots for housing multiple passports. The size of a travel wallet also determines other important factors such as whether it can easily be slipped in a pant pocket or quick-access compartment of a travel pack.

Style: Just like with regular everyday use wallets, travel-specific models are produced in all manner of different shapes and styles. While we subscribe to the belief that factors like materials and amenities should serve as the main guiding forces in your search, there’s still nothing wrong with factoring your personal aesthetic taste into the equation when shopping around for a passport or travel wallet.

Price: Travel and passport wallets are offered across a wide range of prices. Because these items aren’t absolutely essential, it can sometimes feel difficult to justify the purchase of one of the more premium items on the market. The reality, however, is that you tend to get what you pay for in this segment, with the higher-priced passport wallets typically boasting markedly better quality — along with the ability to last a lifetime. A travel wallet can also save you money in the long run, as it can protect passports and other vital items that would be exorbitant to replace if lost or damaged.

Selection & Testing Process

How & Why We Got Hands-On With These Particular Travel Wallets

Best Travel Wallets Tested 02 1

Walking a fine line between passport covers and regular EDC bifolds and cardholders, travel wallets are a fairly unique product space that’s designed for a very specific purpose. While losing your wallet will always be problematic, this dilemma is exponentially worse when it occurs overseas. Travel wallets aim to mitigate this unfortunate possible circumstance by providing a secure means of carrying, organizing, and transporting your passport, money, tickets, boarding passes, and other vital documents. Due to their intended use, the most important factors to consider are undoubtedly size, organizational amenities, and the materials and construction technique(s) used to craft each model — elements that we used to guide our search when compiling a list of the best travel wallets on the market.

While a product’s materials, list of features, and general spec sheet do all provide helpful insight into the quality of each travel wallet, the only way to really determine the overall performance and utility of each model is to use it — which is exactly what we’ve done. After using the aforementioned criteria to formulate our list of picks, we then set about putting each and every travel wallet to the test, utilizing one or more of the models on our list while taking both short weekend excursions and extended overseas trips. This firsthand experience also provided insight into each travel wallets build quality and fit and finish, as well as each’s versatility, with some models boasting the ability to accommodate a smartphone , EDC gear, or other items that increase potential utility, usability, and value.

Bellroy Apex Passport Cover

While the inclusion of two items on this list may suggest that we possess a major proclivity for Bellroy — and while this is undeniably the case — the reality is that the company objectively produces some of the best wallets and EDC accessories on the market, as evidenced by items like the Bellroy Apex Passport Cover. Utilizing a similar design to the fan-favorite Apex Slim Sleeve wallet — albeit using dimensions appropriate for accommodating a passport — the Apex Passport Cover features a precision-molded leather construction that’s pieced together using a stitchless lamination process. In addition to RFID protection, room to carry a passport and 2-4 cards, and an included onboard travel pen, this passport wallet also boasts a clever and easy-to-use magnetic closure system.

Dimensions: 4.2” H x 5.7” W x 0.5” D Primary Construction: Pre-Molded Leather RFID Protected: Yes

Hardgraft Trip Passport Cover

Slim enough to easily fit in your back pocket, Hardgraft’s Trip Passport Cover is as minimalistic as it is premium, being crafted by hand in Italy from a top-shelf selection of Italian and European-sourced materials — in this case, an ultra-supple top-grain washed vegetable-tanned Italian leather that’s been mated to an equally premium microsuede lining. This passport cover opens to reveal four card slots that sit opposite a passport holder that’s secured by a pair of hide-away pockets. The interior of this travel wallet also features additional storage for paper currency, tickets, hotel key cards, and other vital travel essentials.

Bellroy Travel Wallet In Essex England

Why We Like It: A professional-looking option that includes a pen.

What You Should Know: The hidden pocket flap is flimsy.

Bellroy’s Travel Wallet is a popular and competent offering that looks professional and has thoughtful internal organization. You can slide more than one passport inside, and there’s a divider in the money pocket to separate different currencies. Or, slide a boarding pass in one and your cash in the other.

Although the wallet looks similar in size to a standard wallet, it has a much larger footprint. This keeps it from fitting inside your front pocket and away from most back pockets. However, It should fit inside your sling , coat pocket, or daypack .

Though the exterior scratches and scuffs easily, it offers a unique, rugged, professional look that we dig. Plus, it comes with a micro-pen! That’s great for filling out your customs form on the plane before landing. What else could you ask for from a travel wallet?

Fjallraven Passport Wallet Gift Guide

Why We Like It: Internal organization feels more like a wallet with space for extras.

What You Should Know: It is a tad too big for a pocket but too small to require a sling.

The Fjallraven Passport Wallet utilizes G-1000 fabric, which we’re used to seeing on other products from the brand. It’s durable, looks professional, and makes the color pop. Paired with YKK zippers, this is a passport wallet that you can rely on for years to come.

The internal organization can handle your travel documents, credit cards, and more than one passport if you pack it wisely. Given how much you can fit inside, this wallet is larger than your daily carry, but it feels soft in your hand and looks professional and fun at the same time.

If you own other Fjallraven gear, their Passport Wallet will fit right into your kit.

Best for: Professional Travelers

Pioneer Passport Wallet Usage 1

Why We Like It: The use of premium, sturdy materials goes a long way.

What You Should Know: There’s only one place to put your passport.

If durable materials are your thing, look no further than the Pioneer Passport Wallet. In addition to having space for your important travel documents, the nylon shell is extraordinarily tough and can handle whatever journey you have planned next. It also has a DWR coating to shield your sensitive information from the elements.

The interior design is simple, which ensures you can access everything quickly. Both the interior and exterior are minimalistic, which is great for looks, but may leave something to be desired for those who like to bring a ton of gear.

Whereas this is an excellent option for those looking for a passport wallet for just the essentials, if you want the best travel wallet for the whole nine yards, this might not be the right choice for you.

Best for: Relaxed Travelers

Zero Grid Passport Wallet Review

Why We Like It: It can fit a lot of gear for its small footprint.

What You Should Know: The materials aren’t very sturdy for rugged adventures.

At first glance, the Zero Grid Passport Wallet looks a bit cheap. However, what it lacks stylistically, it makes up for in gear storage. On the interior, you can stow your passport on either side, leaving the other for your cards and cash. There’s even an exterior pocket that’s handy for waiting in line at the coffee shop or food truck.

This travel wallet closes with a YKK zipper and utilizes ripstop nylon, which is lightweight and fairly durable. It isn’t the best choice for a rugged adventure, but it’ll hold up well for most use cases.

If the small size doesn’t suit your needs, Zero Grid makes a larger Passport Holder with enough space for an entire family. Plus, the included pen is nearly twice as large; what a deal! This comes in handy for filling out customs forms and writing down directions.

Pacsafe RFIDsafe Compact Travel Organizer Review

Why We Like It: The dedicated change purse is ideal for places where cash rules.

What You Should Know: Although plentiful, the internal organization can be daunting.

Pacsafe is known for its products that deter theft while traveling. Although their Compact Travel Organizer doesn’t have any of the unique locking features as some of their slings we’ve tested, it has RFID-blocking technology and is a capable travel wallet.

The exterior is crafted from recycled polyester and is PFC-free, which is an excellent shout from an environmental standpoint. A small zippered pocket on the exterior works well for change or if you’re waiting in line at a cash-only joint and don’t want to wave bills around beforehand.

This passport wallet is large, but not so large that you’ll feel awkward holding onto it for a few minutes at a restaurant or shop. The interior organization is thoughtful and easy to organize, so you’ll be able to quickly access your gear no matter where you end up.

Away Passport Holder Review

Why We Like It: Unique design doesn’t fold, ensuring no wasted space.

What You Should Know: It can be hard to see the cards inside the wallet.

Most of the travel wallets on this list share one feature—a fold. We’re used to seeing non-folding models in the everyday carry world, but for a passport wallet, it feels wasteful. Enter the Away Passport Holder!

The design ensures easy access to your passport and gear because you don’t need to open a fold before grabbing it. This does heighten the chance that dirt and debris will slide inside and makes it a little harder to see cards in poor light, but once you get used to it, this isn’t an issue.

Best of all, this travel wallet from Away looks professional and feels durable. Plus, if you have larger pockets on your clothing, you may be able to carry it without needing a sling or daypack!

Best for: Frugal Travelers

AmazonBasics RFID Travel Passport Wallet In Essex, England

Why We Like It: There’s enough room for everything in your wallet and then some.

What You Should Know: You’ll need to stow it in a daypack or other large gear.

We know what you’re thinking—an AmazonBasics travel wallet? Stick with us. It might look like the little folder that the check comes in at a restaurant, but the AmazonBasics RFID Travel Passport Wallet can fit you, your partner, and your family’s travel documents in one easy-to-access location.

In addition to holding everyone’s passports, you will be able to stow cards, cash, and other gear inside. The exterior has a loop to secure it inside your pack for extra peace of mind. The design is thoughtfully crafted, so you know where all your important documents are at all times.

Best of all, it comes at a budget-friendly price so you can spend more on wontons, not a travel wallet.

Zoppen Passport Holder

Why We Like It: Clutch-style design looks as comfortable at a restaurant as at the airport.

What You Should Know: Button closure can be finicky.

Most travel wallets we’ve come across have a more masculine style. There are options for those who prefer something different, but they’re not as common. The ZOPPEN Mulit-purpose Rfid Blocking Passport Holder Travel Wallet utilizes a clutch-style design that fits in no matter where you end up.

The exterior is crafted from faux leather that looks professional and holds up well over time. The snap closure can be tricky, especially when not fully packed. There are a ton of fun colorways to choose from, and this travel wallet won’t break the bank, either.

The interior has a soft accent material to ensure your gear stays safe and scratch-free. It unfolds like a pamphlet, so you’ll have enough room for everything you need, from Detroit to Delhi.

Herschel Supply Co. Raynor Passport Holder Showcase

Why We Like It: It has a casual design that feels at home no matter where you end up.

What You Should Know: Sliding your passport in and out isn’t always the quickest.

The Herschel Supply Co. Raynor may be described as a passport holder, but it operates like a travel wallet. It’s crafted from leatherette, or synthetic leather, which is durable but shows cracks over time. These haven’t compromise the material in our experience, though they are noticeable.

The interior has a simple design that can hold a few cards, cash, and a passport. The organization doesn’t try to do or carry too much and ensures you don’t overpack in the process.

However, it’s pretty large for what you can stow inside. It feels more like a standard model than a travel wallet. That might not work for some, but if you want to use something that reminds you of what you’re used to, it will do that perfectly. The model we have on hand has a black-and-white colorway that’s sharp-looking and unique.

Trayvax Explorer Passport Wallet

Why We Like It: American leather looks professional and rugged simultaneously.

What You Should Know: You can’t fit a ton of gear inside for how large it is.

We’ve tested a lot of Trayvax Wallets here at Pack Hacker. Though their minimalist wallets are mostly made of metal, the Explorer Passport Wallet has a unique look all its own. It’s crafted from genuine American leather that looks professional and rugged simultaneously.

The angled corners look almost art-deco and add to this wallet’s stand-out design. It only comes in brown, but we feel that color suits it well.

On the interior, there’s a window so you can see what card you’re sliding out. There isn’t much room for gear here, but there’s enough space for your travel essentials. In addition to offering an excellent passport wallet, Trayvax has a warranty that can be relied on. The warranty spans 65 years and covers any issues with materials or their work from general wear and tear.

Red Wing Shoes Passport Wallet

Why We Like It: A classic look that your grandfather and grandchild can appreciate.

What You Should Know: The fold is rounded, so it takes up a lot of space.

Red Wing has been cranking out comfortable boots since just after the turn of the century, but they make other leather goods worth looking at, too. The Red Wing Shoes Passport Wallet is crafted from durable materials and feels as sturdy as we’d expect from such a reliable brand.

On the interior, the two sides are nearly identical. There are slide pockets for your passport(s), two slots for cards, and a larger pocket perfect for cash. There isn’t a good spot for coins, so you might want to have an alternative place for that or avoid carrying it.

Given the durability of the leather, the crease isn’t very flat, which gives this travel wallet a lot of width. It feels more comfortable in a sling or daypack, but you can throw it in your jacket pocket in a pinch.

Best for: Sustainable Travelers

Fjallraven Kanken Travel Wallet Review

Why We Like It: Has enough space to fit small gear inside, so it functions similar to a clutch bag.

What You Should Know: It’s pretty bulky for the storage space you get.

We’ve tested a lot of Fjallraven gear over the years, a lot of which carries the Kanken name. The Fjallraven Kanken Travel Wallet is perfect for someone who already owns gear from the line or is looking for an ecosystem to invest in.

This passport wallet has lots of internal organization for your travel essentials and everyday gear. There’s an exterior phone pocket to keep everything in one place; however, plus-sized phones and large cases might not fit. When you’re phone is stowed inside, you can see the edges, which isn’t the most flattering look.

There are numerous fun colorways, and the styling perfectly fits into the Kanken line. However, it works well with anything colorful. When not fully packed, the top of the wallet caves in a little. This doesn’t affect usage, but it is noticeable.

CODEOFBELL ANNEX CASE

Why We Like It: Enough room to stow your daily essentials and passport.

What You Should Know: It’s a bit bulky, even for a small pouch.

The CODEOFBELL ANNEX CASE isn’t a passport wallet per say, but it works exceptionally well for folks who want to go the extra mile in gear storage. The exterior has a durable shell with ample water resistance, so your gear inside will stay safe.

You can turn the case into a sling or crossbody bag, so you don’t have to worry about whether or not it will fit into your pocket. Though that makes this thing is large and hefty, you can fit more gear inside than in a traditional travel wallet. It utilizes segmentation, separate zippered compartments, and liner pockets to ensure all your gear has a home.

It has a minimalistic design, but the black colorway might not be what everyone looks for in a pouch.

Moment Crossbody Wallet Review

Why We Like It: A simple wallet for those who prefer the option to wear your essentials.

What You Should Know: It looks more like a purse than a wallet.

The Moment Crossbody Wallet is a mini sling that can be used as a wallet. You can carry it with the included wristlet or use the strap to keep your hands free. The design is more feminine, but the colorway lends itself to most outfits and any gender.

The strap clips don’t feel the most secure, but we haven’t had any issues with them coming undone. There’s enough space to segment your gear on the interior but not enough to drown it in organizational bureaucracy. That said, it can feel a bit tight, so it’s best for storing small gear like a phone or chapstick.

Whether at the airport or on a fancy date, the Moment Crossbody Wallet is the best travel wallet that's up for any occasion and ensures all your gear makes it home safely.

So there you have it! Hopefully, by this point, you’ve chosen a few travel wallets that you can choose from for your next trip. Whether you’re heading to Texas or Tazmania, one of the passport wallets on this list will surely get your gear there safely.

Insider Today

Passports can be easily battered: Thin and light, they get worn down if you're a frequent traveler who shoves them into jeans pockets or carry-on backpacks that are filled to the brim.

I was never a fan of passport holders and cases until I found myself in situations when I needed one. I took a few international flights where I couldn't use mobile boarding passes and had to carry paper ones. I remembered what a pain it can be to keep track of your passport, boarding pass, and landing cards, plus other notes and documents you might need when you're throwing everything loose into a backpack pocket.

I decided to look into travel wallets and passport covers, thinking I can streamline everything if I could keep all the travel documents for a given flight in one holder; I'd also be able to protect my passport. I knew that money belts and travel wallets that go around the neck are popular, but I had no interest in one of those. I wanted a sleek, clean-looking wallet.

After researching different options and testing a handful, the Bellroy Travel Wallet was my consistent go-to. I've also included other great travel wallet options if Bellroy's wares aren't for you. Read on to see which of our picks is the best for your travel wallet needs.

  • The best overall: Bellroy Travel Wallet
  • The best minimalist travel wallet: Mr. Lentz Slim Passport Wallet
  • The best with a zipper: Fjällräven Passport Wallet
  • The best for family trips: Lewis N. Clark Travel Wallet
  • The best for holding boarding passes: Cuyana Classic Passport Case

The Bellroy Travel Wallet keeps your passport, boarding passes, landing cards, and more in a compact, organized package.

Pros : Keeps everything you need handy while traveling, easy to navigate, great organization, includes a pen, small enough to carry in a pocket in the airport, has RFID-blocking capabilities

Cons : Too big to use as a daily wallet during trips

If you're a regular reader of Insider Reviews, chances are you're already familiar with Bellroy — after all, the company makes our favorite wallets. The Australian brand has a smart, minimalist, and functional design philosophy. It also uses ethically-sourced materials and has a great manufacturing process to produce high-quality gear.

What I love about Bellroy's travel wallet is that it holds everything. It has room for all of the travel documents you might need over the course of a multi-stop international trip, plus cash, credit cards, a SIM card, and even a pen.

At first glance, the wallet looks like an oversized bifold, opening just like an everyday wallet. One side has room for your passport, with a dedicated pocket that takes up that whole side. The other side has credit card slots — either two or four, depending on which edition of the wallet you choose — positioned vertically so you just drop the cards in. The wallet also has an open-top pocket like a traditional bill compartment, but it's divided into two sections.

There are a few more "hidden" card slots and a sim-card holder within the inner cash compartment, as well as my favorite feature of this wallet: a tiny pen, which is kept tucked away right in the middle so that you can fill out landing cards and jot any quick notes you need.

Available in a few colors, the wallet is big enough to hold just about any currency, and I like to keep a little bit in one of the sections of the large cash/document pocket. The other section is great for holding boarding passes, custom cards, and any other travel documents you might need to have handy. I prefer putting these in the outermost section so that they don't crease when folded. I use the inside part for cash — You can put cash in both sections, using the divider to keep different currencies separate.

In theory, Bellroy intends the travel wallet to be your everyday wallet on the road, something you can carry with your cards, cash, passport, and everything else you need for a day of exploring. I think it's a little big for that. I can certainly fit in in a back pocket or jacket when I'm in the airport, but it's big enough that I would be worried about theft walking around a city with it.

The handmade Mr. Lentz Slim Passport Wallet is timeless and built to last.

Pros : Slim, rugged, handmade, holds the essentials

Cons : Needs to be broken in, brass rivets may not appeal to everyone

The Mr. Lentz brand is run by one person — Evan Lentz — who makes all of his products by hand in his own workshop. Lentz built the brand with a "modern cowboy" feel, designed to evoke days of hard work on the windswept plains, and his online shops reflect that with old-west images and icons.

Mr. Lentz makes wallets, bags, and other accessories using durable, rugged, and time-proven materials like full-grain leather, brass, and wood. Lentz's passport wallet is a typical example of this style.

The wallet is much more scaled-down than the Bellroy Travel Wallet making it great for those who just want to ensure some protection for their passport without adding a ton of bulk. A solid piece of leather makes a bifold that opens like a book. The right-side has a pocket for your passport, which is a little tight and only meant to fit the back cover of the passport. That way, the passport can be read without removing it from the wallet. You can just hand the whole package to the customs agent. Once the wallet breaks in a bit, you can fit the whole closed passport in that pocket.

The other side of the wallet has two card slots that can hold four to six cards. There's a larger pocket right behind the card slots that is perfect for holding a bit of spare cash. You can also fit travel documents, like boarding passes, in this sleeve.

Aesthetically, the Mr. Lentz Passport Wallet looks rugged and hardy. The thick full-grain leather holds up well and develops a nice patina as you use it and break it in. Solid brass rivets line the outsides of the wallet, holding it together. The wallet also ships with a free tin of proprietary leather conditioner to help keep it soft as it ages and breaks in.

Thin enough to fit in a front pocket, this wallet is a perfect option for those looking for something that will last a long time and hold just the essentials. You can also choose to engrave the wallet, using any of a few different methods.

The Fjällräven Passport Wallet closes securely with a zipper and will hang on to your documents no matter where you go.

Pros : Water-resistant, protects your travel documents from the elements, keeps things from falling out and getting lost

Cons : Both sizes are bigger and bulkier than other travel wallets because of the zipper and material

If you're backpacking and carrying a lot, or want to just throw your travel documents in a bag's main compartment, a bifold travel wallet might not be your best option.

A more secure passport wallet with a zipper, like the Fjällräven Passport Wallet, lets you toss it in a bag with everything else, and you don't have to worry about anything falling out or getting lost.

The Fjällräven Passport Wallet is made of a water-resistant waxed canvas. Like most of the other passport wallets you'll find out there, the Fjallraven option is structured like a bifold, but this one has a zipper running along the entire outside.

When opened, the wallet has space to tuck your passport and folded boarding pass on the right side. There's also an interior zippered pocket, perfect for coins, ticket stubs, or other odd bits and ends. The left side of the wallet has six card slots, and there's an open pocket at the top for cash.

Fjallraven also makes a larger version of this wallet called the Travel Wallet , rather than the "Passport Wallet." They're basically the same thing; the main difference is that the Travel Wallet has a few more card slots and a loop to hold a pen, and is designed to fit unfolded boarding passes. It's almost more like a small purse or clutch. The smaller Passport Wallet can also hold a small pen and boarding passes, but there's no loop to keep it in place and boarding passes must be folded.

Personally, I prefer the smaller Passport Wallet — even though you have to fold your boarding passes to fit them, it's just a nicer hand-held size. However, both are great options, especially if you're storing the wallet in a bag.

The Lewis N. Clark Travel Wallet keeps the whole family organized as you head on your next adventure.

Pros : Keeps a family's travel documents organized, well-positioned pockets and compartments, includes a pen

Cons : Large, won't fit in a pocket, zipper issues

Even though I love traveling, there's no doubt that it can be stressful. The stress is even worse when you're managing logistics for a group, even your own family.

While there's not much to do about it, you can at least make your group's time at the airports a little bit easier with the Lewis N. Clark Travel Wallet . With room for about four passports, plus cash, cards, boarding passes, customs forms, a pen, and even a phone, this is more than a travel wallet. It's more like a family travel organizer.

While the Lewis N. Clark is naturally bigger than a one-person travel wallet, it's smaller than you might expect considering how much it holds. That said, this isn't going in anyone's front pocket — think of it more as a folio.

The wallet folds closed like a clamshell and zips shut all the way around. When it's closed, there's still access to a small zip pocket on the front.

When open, there are three pockets on the right side that are for passports. You can fit a few passports in each pocket, according to Amazon reviewers. It has six credit card slots, a zipper compartment for change and cash, and a larger zippered compartment for boarding passes or cash on the left side. In the middle, there's a loop for a pen so you can fill out forms on the plane.

The Travel Wallet is made from nylon that's durable and protective. It also has RFID-blocking material built in to add an extra layer of protection to your cards and passports. As for downsides, some buyers mention problems with the zipper.

Cuyana's Classic Passport Case  holds a full-size boarding pass and several cards in a chic leather wallet.

Pros:  Holds a full boarding pass, six card slots, multiple slide pockets for passports and more, stylish, fun colors, real leather

Cons:  Won't fit in your pocket

Cuyana is known for making quality leather goods for very affordable prices. The Insider Reviews team recently tested a number of the company's wallets, including the Classic Passport Holder. We loved the wallet so much that we wrote a full review about it.

The simple leather wallet was designed in San Francisco and handmade in Argentina. Measuring 9-inches long, it's longer than most other passport holders, so it can hold a full boarding pass without wrinkling or folding. Cuyana also added a dedicated pocket for your passport, six card slots, and two large slide pockets for travel documents and anything else you need.

The pebbled leather is soft and smooth, and the card slots keep your cards in place securely without being too tight. You can get the passport holder in navy blue, stone gray, red, black, or a crocodile-embossed black. If you so choose, Cuyana will even monogram your wallet.

Based on our experience, it's the perfect stylish travel wallet, but it won't fit in your pocket, unless you happen to be wearing some intense cargo pants. It's a great pick if you have space in your bag and need to manage documents that you simply don't want to fold. — Malarie Gokey

We found travel wallets that are great for navigating old cities around the clock, and travel wallets that can handle all sorts of rugged adventures. We curated all our travel wallets with durability and design in mind, but we also considered features that make each wallet unique in and of its own. The one quality you'll find in each travel wallet? They all are sized to hold an American passport nice and snug. After all, it wouldn't be a travel wallet if it didn't hold your most important papers.

Pioneer's Passport Wallet is wonderfully simple in design and tough as nails thanks to its waterproof ripstop fabric construction. In fact, we found the waterproof ripstop fabric is great for handling humid environments, staying dry and and stiff, as opposed to getting all slimy and flimsy as other travel wallets can become in these climates. As far as stroage goes, it comes with a full length cash pocket, pockets to store up to 8 cards, and a 3D molded passport pocket designed to fit an American passport perfectly snug.

Due to this wallet's construction. look, and function, we found it to be our favorite pick when taking to warm weather vacation and cold weather trips. The material is simply just too good, and you never have to worry about any of the contents sliding out. Simply put, the Pioneer Passport Wallet is capable of all kinds of trips and adventures. This is a quality investment we'd recommend over and over again.

Bellroy makes several great travel wallets, but the wallet we found most like the wallet you probably already carry is the bifold Travel Wallet. It's got a fine all leather make and will hold a passport, cash, train tickets, and up to 10 cards. What's cool is the wallet comes with a micro pen that hangs inside the wallet's spine, which we found to be useful when wanting to write down recommendations of places to visit from friends and other travelers.

Looks can be deceiving due to the wallet's traditional bifold design. It measures 3.8-inches tall by 6-inches wide, so it is big. Overall we find it to be a great minimalist travel wallet with a classic style that blends in nicely in all environments.

This reasonably priced wallet from Fjallraven is made with a durable waxed waterproof canvas and a YKK zippered closure to protect all your documents and cards from the elements. Inside are 5 card pockets, 2 cash pockets, and 1 zippered coin pouch. Looking for the passport pocket? That would be behind the coin pouch—it's a nice and discrete design note, we know.

If you're looking for a rugged wallet with waterproofing and protection but don't want to pay over $100, this is a solid option. Fjallraven fans will see this wallet has the same quality construction like the brand's other gear, which is a great sign because the maker is one of the best valued outdoor brands out there.

The design of a good AirTag wallet is still being perfected, but that doesn't mean we don't like what's already on the market. If you're looking for a travel wallet you can store your AirTag in, this one from Lumberjack Plaid is our latest favorite.

It comes in a sleek and stylish leather (3 colors available) and features a passport pocket, a long pocket for tickets and cash, and 3 card slots. You get all this for $40, which is an excellent value for such a quality wallet. Just be aware the leather can show scratches pretty easily; most notably on the dark leather.

Made to fall in line with all your other Tumi luggage, the Passport Case comes in a sleek, all-black look with more interior space than one might think. We're talking a passport pocket, a billfold compartment, an ID window, 2 slip pockets, and 8 card pockets. You get the best of both worlds with this wallet: great style and high functionality. Well done Tumi, well done.

We get it, many of us aren't jet-setting out of the U.S. several times in a year. Nonetheless it's important to have a passport wallet even if you're only getting out of the country once in a blue moon. For overseas trips that are few and far between, this RFID-blocking leather travel passport case for under $30 on Amazon will do the job. It will also give off style points, as the leather has a nice rich look to it that holds up well when used sparingly.

Due to the stitching and overall quality of the materials we'd say this wallet might not be suitable for high levels of use. But because it carries a high durability and functionality for the price, we recommend it as a great travel wallet for those who might need to take a passport with them only once or twice in a year.

If you want to go with a more secure wallet, this thin travel pouch can be strapped around the waist and hold your passport, cash, cards, and more. The pouch itself has RFID tech built-in so you get another level of safety. Plus the pouch is made from water-resistant ripstop, so you won't have to worry about any of your items getting soaked from rain.

One note to point out is even though the price point of this belt is incredibly good, we believe the thin fabric could wear down faster over time than some of the other wallets on this list.

The Apex wallet is made with fine leather that's heat bonded instead of being stitched. The result is a unique design that, when closed, fully encases the inner contents of the wallet from the outside elements. The Apex will hold a passport, cash, and 2-4 cards. And just like the Travel Wallet, you get a small micro pen that can be stored inside on the wallet's spine.

Handcrafted from USA heritage leather, Shinola's Utility Passport Wallet is truly made to age like fine wine. When opening up the wallet, one side contains a passport pocket while the other has 5 faille-lined pockets for your cards. It's not the most feature-loaded travel wallet on this list, and it's certainly not the cheapest, but if you're looking for something simple and timeless then this is the one.

You're not going to find another travel wallet like this one, and that's the point. Texas boot-maker Tecovas went and took the same authentic American alligator leather it uses for its boots and crafted the material into a passport case. The result is a one-of-a-kind piece with a passport pocket and 4 exterior card pockets. What's cool is you can even monogram it.

Of course the price point on this wallet is almost like buying a luxury good, but really the only qualm we have with the wallet is its availability. Sometimes it's popularity gets the best of it, and so you might have to turn to the Ostrich Passport Case or the original Passport Case —two excellent alternatives, no less.

Malbon Golf Yacht Club Passport Holder

Yacht Club Passport Holder

The streetwear-inspired golf brand Malbon Golf has been turning out tons of cool pieces this year. One of its products that has flown under-the-radar is this pebbled leather passport holder. We were surprised to open it up and see tons of card space to go with the passport pocket. And as far as style goes, it comes with cool embossments on the front and inner pocket and is available in three colors.

Tanner Goods Leather Passport Travel Wallet

Leather Passport Travel Wallet

If you liked the full leather of the Shinola travel wallet but wished it had a different interior configuration, then this travel wallet from Tanner Goods is a great alternative. Inside is a passport pocket with a small card pocket on top of the passport flap, plus two additional card slots on the other side.

The wallet might not hold a lot, but if you want a minimalist leather wallet with great style and a thin silhouette, then you'll be happy with this choice.

Zero Grid Travel Wallet Passport Holder

Travel Wallet Passport Holder

Similar to the belted travel wallet we featured earlier, this passport holder can be used as a sling bag and is made with waterproof ripstop and covered with RFID blocking material. What's cool is it zips shut, closing in the passport and up to 10 cards that can fit on the inside. You also get a small stylus that you can hang on the wallet's spine.

line

Buying a quality travel wallet is going to look a lot like buying your everyday wallet, but the two are not the same. Here's what you need to know.

  • Durability: Making sure your travel wallet is tough and made of good materials is of utmost importance. After all, this is your last line of defense to your passport—the most important document you need when traveling overseas. This prior notion is why we loved reviewing travel wallets made from tear-resistant and water-resistant materials (like the Pioneer Travel Wallet). Premium leather is also a good material to protect your passport, as the leather provides a thick layer to keep moisture and dust from getting to your papers.
  • Security Features: Some travel wallets comes with RFID (radio-frequency identification) lining to help prevent RFID theft. It's true this type of crime doesn't happen a lot, but it is possible, and so buying a travel wallet with RFID lining does add a level of security to your essentials. Another security feature to look for are zippered or snap closures that help keep your passport and cards sealed off. We like these closures because it helps limit the chances of any items accidentally falling out when traveling—which happens more than one might think.
  • AirTag Tracking: Although we only have one AirTag travel wallet we like right now, we anticipate more of these types of wallets to hit the market in the coming year. AirTag wallets have become a huge hit thanks to their tracking abilities, and so any travel wallet that can incorporate an AirTag in a slimming and discrete way should be considered on your shortlist of what travel wallets to buy.

Can You Use a Passport Covers as A Wallet?

commerce breaker

Travel wallets, also sometimes referred to as passport wallets, are the best possible choice for carrying your passport and your cash and cards. Travel wallets are not to be confused with passport covers, which are simply covers you can slide over your passport to add a level of protection.

Passport covers do theoretically have space where you could slide some cash plus 1-2 cards inside, but those spaces oftentimes make your valuables prone to falling out. A passport cover is not designed to hold anything more than a passport, and so whatever else you put in there is going to be like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Stick to a travel wallets for cash, card, and passport carry.

Why Trust Us

In order to keep up with new new designs and releases, the MH tech and gear team is continually testing all of the latest everyday carry accessories to make sure our recommendations reflect the top products within each space.

When it comes to travel wallets, we acquire and call in the latest releases to test, and then we take them out into the real world. At any given point, writers and editors in our office are traveling, and so we plan accordingly whenever we are going to be up in the air to take one or two travel wallets with us to see how they perform. Lastly, we take a hands-on look at the travel wallets up close. We inspect everything from the material to the build of the wallet to determine it's durability and whether or not the price point reflects the overall quality.

How We Selected

line

Our MH commerce team thoroughly researched and tested dozens of the best travel wallets, from budget to designer to premium, gift-worthy models. We noted everything from how snug the wallet fit an American passport to how the interior card slots were organized. We also considered fabric quality (especially when it came to leather) and price. The list above represents our honest picks for the best travel wallets of 2023.

10 Money-Saving Hacks to Cut Your Travel Costs

Nadia Tahir Avatar

By Nadia Tahir

Saving Money

Published on Aug-04-2022

The rising prices of goods and services across the board have most Americans revisiting their travel plans. But, before you completely write off the possibility of vacation, here are ten ways to cut travel costs.

According to a  Forbes Advisor/OnePoll survey , 91% of Americans said inflation has negatively affected their travel plans. As a result, people are being forced to travel less and cancel or postpone their existing vacation plans due to mounting inflationary pressure on household budgets.

When looking across all the elements of a vacation, such as transportation, accommodations, food, and activities, there are strategies to shave costs off each one. Here are travel-saving hacks at the trip planning stage and ideas for responsible spending at your destination.

5 Money-Saving Hacks When Planning a Vacation

1. use apps and credit card points.

Free shopping apps, such as  Fetch Rewards , are a way to earn gift cards with little effort to help reduce travel costs. Download the app on your  Apple  or  Android  device and scan your shopping receipts for points. Fetch users can earn points on retail, grocery, and gas purchases.

Fetch app users can also earn points easily  by referring friends and family . When they sign up with Fetch Rewards using your referral code, thousands of topics will be added to both of your accounts. In addition, reaching the minimum rewards balance allows Fetch users to redeem points for gift cards.

Travelers can redeem their points for gift cards such as  Airbnb, Delta and Southwest airlines, and Uber . Paying with a free gift card can help cut these significant travel expenses. Transportation can add up to and from the airport and around a vacation destination. Using gift cards to pay for the flight and Uber costs can save travelers hundreds of dollars.

Before making any travel arrangements, check out the travel section in the Fetch app’s Rewards tab for gift card options.

2. Keep Travel Dates Flexible

Travelers looking for a deal need to be flexible with dates and times when searching. For example, early morning or red-eye flights are known to be less expensive, as well as traveling during the weekdays rather than the weekend.

3. Search Incognito and in the Afternoon

People may not realize that websites track their searches. Many people have encountered a situation where they go to the same site to check ticket prices, and the cost keeps increasing. It’s not just because the ticket prices can change throughout the day. Websites also track these searches and intentionally increase prices to motivate people to book their tickets quickly.

The best way to not fall into this trap is to search on a browser in incognito mode. Some travel experts also say it’s best to look for tickets in the afternoon rather than first thing in the morning.

4. Consider All Types of Accommodations

There have never been more accommodation options for travelers. Between standard hotels, Airbnbs, local vacation rental websites,  timeshares , and hostels, there are a wide variety and, therefore, price points to choose from.

5. Consider Package Deals

Some websites offer package deals such as flight, hotel, and car rentals, which could be less expensive than booking everything individually. It’s worth pricing out different packages and comparing them when shopping. When booking, don’t forget to purchase through  money-making apps , giving you a portion of your spending back.

5 Money-Saving Hacks While Traveling

Once you’ve arrived at your destination, keep applying  responsible money habits  to stay on budget. Mindful spending can ensure you’re spending your dollars on what matters most to you on vacation, whether eating at a specific restaurant, admission to a particular attraction or doing a certain tour.

6. Use Local SIM Cards and WiFi

Surprise roaming charges could bust your travel budget if you travel out of the country. Instead of racking up international roaming charges, insert a local SIM card into your phone and pay local rates.

Also, many tourist attractions, restaurants, coffee shops, and entire cities offer free WiFi. Take advantage of the free options to check your email and text messages but be careful when making purchases using a credit card because it may not be secure.

7. Don’t Overpay For Currency Conversion

Travelers should avoid currency exchange in airports and tourist areas where they may charge high exchange fees. Instead, reference free apps and websites to help track exchange rates so you know how much you should be paying.

8. Eat at Restaurants Only Once a Day

The cost of constantly eating out can add up quickly. Making meals at your accommodations can cut travel costs, especially as a family. Grocery delivery services make it easy to get all you need for breakfast, packed lunches, or even easy dinners.

Shopping at local markets for fresh fruit, vegetables, bread, snacks, and treats is not only a way to explore the city and its local cuisine but can make for cheap meals as well.

9. Use Public Transportation

Instead of paying for a rental car, Uber or taxi ride the local transit. Use public transportation, whether the subway, bus, or cable car trams, to get around the city. Not only will it cut down your expenses, but you won’t have to stress about parking.

10. Watch Your Activities Spending

When visiting a city for the first time, many travelers like to see the attractions such as museums, monuments, and famous sites. But many have an admission fee, which is most expensive at the gate. Consider alternatives such as multi-day passes allowing tourists to pay one cost and enter multiple locations or Groupon offers.

Balancing paid attractions with free or low-cost activities will allow you to explore your destination while staying on budget.

That Trip Might Be Closer Than You Think

Using these ten money-saving strategies when planning and enjoying your vacation can help people travel even during inflation. As a result, you might find that you’ve cut costs enough to make a trip possible or even afford another one this year.

This is the one card type to never digitally store, says a finance wiz.

Bank on this cyber security trick.

A financial guru recently sounded off on the risks of storing various methods of payment within Apple Pay, or any digital wallet.

Money man Dean, of TikTok duo Alexis and Dean, urged in the video that one method in particular is most at risk for bad actors to take advantage of when stored in a digital wallet.

Keep your debit card out of digital payments, a finance man recommends.

“Don’t link your checking [account], don’t link your debit card to it,” Dean warned.

Dean understands that most people make this mistake — he admits to having too many cards hooked up to his own account, to the point where he sometimes loses track.

“If you want to be safe, remove your debit card from that platform and just use your credit card as the main payment,” he said.

The warning may come as a surprise who have been assured that tap payments are perfectly legit.

Tech care companies like Asurion even brag that “contactless payments are actually safer than a physical card.”

So what’s the risk then?

In short, there is the possibility of someone accessing a person’s phone and seamlessly transferring their life savings away through the bank card, using apps like Venmo or Apple Pay itself.

While it may seem far-fetched, the threat is severe that New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg called on money transfer apps to put better protocols in place .

Tapping into phones to illicitly wire money is becoming a huge scam.

He would target college-age young people drunk at bars to get into their phones, pretending to input contact information and similar gimmicks.

In the few moments he was hacked in, Johnson would send himself large sums of money.

TSA now accepting mobile IDs in LA Wallet at New Orleans Airport

N EW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Louisiana residents can now use the LA Wallet app to breeze through TSA checkpoints across the United States.

Beginning Thursday (May 23), the TSA accepts mobile driver’s licenses and identification cards in LA Wallet at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) and 26 other participating airports nationwide.

REAL ID-compliant credentials are required to use LA Wallet on TSA equipment at MSY.

Residents with LA Wallet can present their mobile driver’s license or ID card at select TSA checkpoints by tapping their phone or scanning the QR code in the app. The TSA reader at the security checkpoint takes the traveler’s photo.

Once the Credential Authentication Technology Reader (CAT-2) confirms the identity match, a TSA officer verifies the match, and the passenger proceeds to security screening. The traveler’s photo and personal information are deleted after each transaction.

This information will not be shared with other entities and will not be used for law enforcement or surveillance.

Passengers must continue to have their physical IDs on hand. Suppose a digital ID cannot be verified at the TSA security checkpoint. In that case, a passenger must use an acceptable physical identity document (e.g., driver’s license, passport) to proceed through the identity verification.

Louisiana is the eighth state to offer digital IDs with TSA CAT-2 interoperability. The other states are Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, and Utah.

Travelers with a state-issued mobile DL in those states can use the CAT-2 unit’s reader as an alternative to providing a physical photo ID and boarding pass to the TSA officer for identity verification.

MSY is the only airport in Louisiana that utilizes CAT-2 digital ID readers.

OMV urges all residents to consider a REAL ID-compliant credential when renewing their license or identification card. LOUIE, the Louisiana OMV REAL ID virtual expert at www.expresslane.org/REALID , can help residents identify the required documents.

Louisiana residents can download the mobile driver’s license app from LA Wallet at no cost from the Apple App Store or Google Play. For more information on LA Wallet, visit lawallet.com . For additional information on all digital identity solutions accepted at select TSA checkpoints, visit tsa.gov/digital-id .

At a press event, Governor Jeff Landry and New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell announced the new system.

“We all know anytime you can increase security and IDing at airports, you basically increase expediency.......and if you can move through quickly, that’s important,” said Governor Landry.

Mayor Cantrell added, “When we opened, I said on that day that MSY would be a great example in the city of New Orleans of investing big in partnership with the federal government and in partnership with the state of Louisiana...of how New Orleans maintains its assets.”

The governor hopes this will expand to other Louisiana airports by the end of the year.

1. Bring a card

First things first — be sure to bring a credit card! Many airlines, and even entire airports, are now cash-free. That means you’ll need a card to pay for that pre-departure drink or in-flight snack. You might even earn bonus rewards.

For example, if restaurants are a bonus category for your card, sit-down establishments within the airport will usually still earn that higher rewards rate. If your card earns a bonus on travel purchases, you'll usually earn that bonus for in-flight purchases.

2. Register for TSA PreCheck, Global Entry or Clear

Airports are more crowded than ever, with air passenger growth up 6% and foreign travel up 24% year over year, according to a study conducted by the U.S. Travel Association and Tourism Economics.

To ease the burden of long lines, check if your card offers a credit that covers the cost of TSA PreCheck , Global Entry or Clear . These programs allow you to speed through the line at security or customs, but since they all require a background check and an in-person interview, you'll need to register well before your trip. Even if you haven’t been verified for this trip, register today to prepare for your next trip.

3. Register for lounge access

Airport lounges offer a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the airport terminal, with most offering free food and drinks. If your card offers access to Priority Pass lounges, you’ll need to register for that benefit before you hit the road.

Don’t forget your physical membership card, or even easier, download the Priority Pass app and use your phone to access the lounge.

4. Notify your issuer of your travel plans

Few things can create issues like having your card unexpectedly stop working when you’re away from home, especially internationally. With rates of credit card fraud increasing, it’s possible your card could stop working if you’re spending outside of your normal patterns or locations. To preempt this, notify your issuer before you travel. Often you can do this online or through the app, but just in case, be sure to travel with at least two cards .

5. Avoid paying foreign transaction fees

If you’re traveling abroad, make sure you have a card that doesn’t charge foreign transaction fees . If your card does levy those fees, try to get a different card before you leave the country.

6. Pay with your most rewarding card

Be sure to identify opportunities to leverage your trip and earn outsized rewards. For example, if you know you’ll be staying at a Hilton brand hotel, you might consider applying for one of the Hilton credit cards offered by American Express and earn up to 14 Hilton points per dollar you spend at the hotel. Those points can stack up fast and easily defray costs for your future travel.

But you'll need to bring the physical card with you. Many hotels aren't able to accept digital wallet payments, so if you can't swipe your card, you'll miss out on those heightened rewards.

7. Check your card’s money-saving offers

Many issuers have programs, such as AmEx Offers, Chase Offers and BankAmeriDeals from Bank of America, that let you add rotating promotional offers to your card and earn additional points or cash back for making purchases at specific merchants. Be sure to review these offers for any merchants where you might spend during your travels. Just be aware of the fine print — often these offers exclude, or only include, international merchants.

Travel information for fans attending The Investec Champions Cup Final

Fans attending the Investec Champions Cup Final between Leinster Rugby and Stade Toulousain at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 25 May (kick-off 2.45pm) are asked to take note of the following travel information, which includes details of TfL track closures.

Frequent services are anticipated through White Hart Lane, Northumberland Park, Seven Sisters and Tottenham Hale on Saturday.

Please note that Bruce Grove and Silver Street stations are closed for two hours post-match.

There are some scheduled track closures elsewhere around the capital on the TfL network including on the District Line and the Piccadilly Line. Find further information on scheduled TfL track closures here.

For the latest travel news, supporters should plan their journey using TfL.gov.uk and nationalrail.co.uk .

Supporters are advised to use TfL’s Journey Planner for all the latest travel advice and leave plenty of time for their journey.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – Getting Here

General Admission opening: 12.45pm Premium opening: 11.45am

- The stadium is served by four stations on Saturday (White Hart Lane, Northumberland Park, Tottenham Hale and Seven Sisters) providing access to London Overground, London Underground, Greater Anglia services and numerous TfL buses.

- Free high-capacity shuttle bus services to and from the Piccadilly Line at Wood Green and Greater Northern services at Alexandra Palace connect the stadium with other stations and services.

- There is ample cycle parking around the stadium and walking routes to and from the stadium to stations and coach parks are all clearly signposted. Stewards will also be on hand to answer any questions.

Arrive early and stay after the match to take advantage of the wide range of food outlets , bars and entertainment within the stadium.

Wherever fans are travelling from, particularly if they have never been to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before, we recommend taking the time to read the following information.

White Hart Lane

Four trains per hour are expected to call at White Hart Lane in both directions throughout the day. All trains will be made up of eight carriages.

Supporters travelling to Liverpool Street post-match are reminded that Northumberland Park services have greater capacity to those from White Hart Lane and are faster because they have fewer stops.

White Hart Lane is a fully accessible station.

View the northbound London Overground timetable View the southbound London Overground timetable

Northumberland Park

Greater Anglia will operate seven to eight trains per hour northbound via Northumberland Park throughout the day. This service will operate between Liverpool Street and Cambridge, with the Stansted Express calling at Northumberland Park once per hour after the match.

Before the match there will be 10 trains per hour southbound between Cambridge, Hertford East and Liverpool Street, respectively. After the match, the southbound service will increase to 12 trains per hour, with all southbound trains calling at Tottenham Hale, Stratford and Liverpool Street. This increased service post-match includes four Stansted Express trains.

Supporters are advised to use Northumberland Park if using Greater Anglia services as it is a shorter distance to the stadium than Tottenham Hale.

View the full Abellio Greater Anglia timetable

Tottenham Hale

Tottenham Hale is a fully accessible station with access to and between Victoria Line and Greater Anglia services. Greater Anglia platforms are fully accessible from the concourse, which has entry and exit ramps.

Supporters using the Victoria Line, including wheelchair users and those with limited mobility, are advised to use Tottenham Hale rather than Seven Sisters as it is a shorter journey to and from the stadium.

Seven Sisters

Victoria Line services will be operating every two to three minutes in both directions throughout the day until 11.30pm, when there will be six trains per hour throughout the night as part of the night tube service.

Pre-match, the Birstall Road diversion route will be in place at Seven Sisters station for interchange between the Victoria line and London Overground services to avoid congestion on the northbound platform.

We expect approximately half the event attendees to depart the Tottenham area via the Victoria Line. Queues can be expected at the High Road entrance to Seven Sisters station. Northumberland Park and Tottenham Hale will be less busy with no significant delays expected at either station.

Supporters are advised to avoid station queues and enjoy the food and drink available in the stadium. Last orders are at 5.20pm with bars closing at 5.40pm and the stadium will close at 6pm.

The stadium is well-served by TfL buses, albeit with some services diverted during the road closure period (from two hours before kick-off until approximately one hour after the final whistle).

Bus diversions will be minimised, so they are back operating on the High Road as soon as possible after the final whistle.

Before and during a match, services that normally run up and down the High Road (149, 259, 279 and 349) are diverted to the east of the stadium at Lansdowne Road, rejoining the High Road at the Northumberland Park junction.

We have installed wayfinding signage from all four train stations to the stadium.

Please refer to the digital wayfinding signs as you leave the stadium to your chosen station.

Please plan your walking route back to the stations as access routes into the stations are normally different due to post-match queue management arrangements. Please listen to the advice of stewards and station staff.

We encourage supporters to make use of the full length of the platform at each station. Moving down the length of the platform will speed up the loading of the trains and decrease the waiting times for your fellow spectators.

Travelling from Stansted Airport?

Follow this link to stanstedexpress.com for details of the Stansted Express service from Stansted Airport into Tottenham Hale.

Shuttle Bus Services

Supporters should note that the Club operates a service between the stadium and Alexandra Palace (Great Northern Services) and Wood Green (Piccadilly Line) stations.

The Great Northern Line will operate five trains per hour through Alexandra Palace throughout the day.

The Alexandra Palace and Wood Green shuttle services operate three hours before and two hours after the match. However, supporters are advised to arrive at the shuttle bus stop at least one hour before kick-off to allow for the travel time and security checks at the stadium.

Although the service is free for all fans attending a match, you will need to register via the link below before booking and present your e-ticket to bus staff before entry onto a shuttle service.

Pre-book tickets

Service details

Alexandra Palace Station (Great Northern Services)

Before a match, shuttle buses pick up from Station Road (opposite the station entrance) and drop off outside Haringey Sixth Form College – a five-minute walk from the stadium. This journey is then reversed after a match.

Wood Green Station (Piccadilly Line services)

Before a match, shuttle buses pick up on the High Road (opposite the bus garage) from the existing rail replacement stop just 60m from the station and also drop off at White Hart Lane, outside Haringey Sixth Form College. After the match, the buses will drop fans outside the Green Rooms Hotel opposite Wood Green Station.

Car Parking

The Club is dedicated to minimising the environmental impacts of its activities across all Club operations, including through the promotion of alternative forms of transport for supporters and staff.

As such, there is no parking available for general admission fans at the stadium.

The road closures also mean that, if you choose to travel by car, you will not be able to exit any car parking facility within the road closure area for one hour after the final whistle.

Therefore, in most cases, we discourage fans from driving to the stadium, so please explore your public transport options before travelling.

Accessible Parking

Parking for supporters with a disability is available in and around the stadium, subject to availability. To request parking, please email [email protected]

For those who have booked accessible parking in advance, please be advised you will be sent the full information on your parking location with directions before the event.

Keeping you informed

Once you’re in the stadium, we will endeavour to keep all spectators updated with live transport information so that you can plan your journey home after the match. Supporters are advised to check nationalrail.co.uk for full information.

With nearly 1,850 screens throughout the stadium, we’ll ensure that you do not miss any key information regarding public transport, as well as posting updates on Tottenham Hotspur Stadium social media.

Coach Parking

Coach parking can be booked in advance here

Coaches will park in the Goods Yard, which is less than a 10-minute walk from the stadium.

This Apple Wallet Update Will Make It Easier to Traverse Paris — Just in Time for the Summer Olympics

Visitors to Paris can now add the city's metro pass directly to their Apple Wallet.

The Paris Olympics are around the corner, and Apple is making it a bit easier to get around for tourists who flock to the City of Light for the momentous event.

The tech company is introducing a seamless way to board Paris transit by allowing travelers to add a Navigo pass directly to their Apple Wallets, Apple shared with Travel + Leisure . Travelers will be able to buy tickets from their iPhones or Apple Watches and tap to ride.

The Navigo pass is a refillable card used to access the Paris Métro .

“In the lead-up to what will surely be an amazing summer for the Paris region, we’re thrilled to bring Navigo cards to Apple Wallet and provide Parisians and visitors with an incredibly convenient and secure way to ride transit in Paris and explore the city,” Jennifer Bailey, Apple’s vice president of Apple Pay and Apple Wallet, said in a statement shared with T+L. “Users will love the safety, security, and seamlessness of purchasing passes and riding with a Navigo card in Apple Wallet on iPhone and Apple Watch.”

To add a Navigo pass, riders must open the Wallet app, tap the add button (+), select “transit card,” and then follow the instructions. Travelers who add the pass to their phones or watches will not need to visit a ticket vending machine or reload at a retailer.

To pay, riders can either select the Navigo pass from their Apple Wallet and double-click the side button, or enable Express Mode and hold their iPhone or Apple Watch near a card reader.

Apple will also offer t+, t+ reduced price, OrlyBus, RoissyBus tickets, and Navigo Day passes.

In addition, Apple is adding real-time transit information in Apple Maps in Paris starting this week. This information will be available for the Paris Métro, RER trains, the tramway, RATP buses, and more.

Travelers will be able to see live departure and arrival times along with system connections, outages, and delays.

The updates come just a couple months before the Paris Olympics are set to kick off on July 26, with travelers expected to flock to the city in droves. In fact, Air France has increased service to Paris from the United States , including bringing back its route from Minneapolis/St. Paul to Paris on a daily basis.
