Cancellation Policy

Cancellation / postponement / preponement rules.

• For online bookings cancellations has to be done online only and the refund will be credited to the card used for booking in 7-10 working days.
• No refunds shall be made if the ticket is surrendered for cancellation within 1 day (24 hours) before the scheduled departure of the bus. Cancellation/Modification request is not accepted even if ticket is booked within 24 hours of journey time.
• You can raise cancel request for within a seven (7) days’ time period from the Booking Date. 75% of the amount only refund from the booking amount.
• If the ticket is presented for cancellation within two days (48 hours) in advance and up to one day (24 hours) before the scheduled departure of the bus, cancellation charges will be 50% of the fare, per head and no cancellation/postponement is allowed within 24 hours of scheduled departure time.
• Partial cancellation is allowed only for one time subject to cancellation rules as mentioned at SNo.2,3,4 above.
• Full Preponement / Postponement is allowed only for one time subject to availability provided the ticket is presented more than one day (24 hours) in advance of the journey date/time. Partial Preponement / Postponement is not allowed.
• A ticket once modified (preponed / postponed / partially cancelled) cannot be further modified or allowed for further cancellation / Reschedule.
• No refund will be given if ticket is cancelled against Terms and Conditions of APTDC.
• No refund will be given if ticket is cancelled against Terms and Conditions of APTDC, by the tourist in any unforeseen conditions or natural calamities or strikes or any other reasons.
• Modification (Reschedule) of reservation / ticket from higher tariff to lower tariff will not be done. If ticket is modified from higher tariff to lower tariff under unavoidable circumstances, the difference amount will not be refunded. However if ticket is modified from lower tariff to higher tariff, the difference amount will be collected from the tourist.

• Digital Products (Booking Confirmations/Tickets) : Any changes or cancellations to the booking must follow the Refund/Cancellation Policy outlined below.

• Eligible for a refund with a 20% deduction on the room tariff amount.
• No rescheduling allowed.

Less than 24 Hours Before Check-In :

• Not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

Cases of No Refund/Cancellation

• Less than 24 Hours Before Check-In : No refunds or cancellations are allowed.
• Post Check-In : No refunds or modifications are allowed post check-in.
• Discounted Reservations : Cannot be rescheduled or canceled.
• Unforeseen Circumstances : No refunds for cancellations due to unforeseen conditions, natural calamities, strikes, or other reasons beyond our control.

Tirumala ttd darshan seva tickets cancellation procedure due to covid 19.

With the outbreak of the Corona Virus in India, the authorities of the Tirumala temple has cancelled all the Darshan and accommodation tickets which has been booked online. For all the which is booked online, the authorities either allow a cancellation or else the pilgrims can postpone the tickets to the future dates, which is after May 2020. To cancel the tickets, the pilgrims have to mail all their booking details to [email protected] . Once the pilgrims send the email with the details, the temple authorities will guide the pilgrims for further process of cancellation or postponement.

Pilgrims can book TTD Special Darshan, Darshan and Seva tickets online at the TTD Online Website. All the payments on the TTD online can be made through NET Banking, Cedit Card and Debit Card. Once the transaction is completed, the pilgrims can download the ticket from the TTD Online Website. The tickets can be downloaded in PDF format and the tickets has to be printed and should be brought along while going to Tirumala for Darshan.

When any pilgrim fails to attend the seva, or fails to avail the Darshan tickets which has been booked online, it cannot be cancelled. As per the TTD Rules as of now, the tickets which has been booked for Darshan, Special Darshan, Seva cannot be Postponed, transferred or Cancelled. All the bookings which the pilgrim made is final and cannot be Cancelled.

TTD Special Darshan Cancellation Terms

When a pilgrims books special darshan online at the TTD Online website, they  accept the Terms and conditions of the TTD which states than the tickets once booked cannot be Postponed, transferred or Cancelled. There were incidents pilgrims reaching to Customer care and asking for refunds which is not allowed as per the TTD Rules and regulation. So when the bookings are made, the pilgrims has to very clear about the booking and date of booking and details in the booking of the ticket.

I heard that TTD is not cancelling tickets booked even after post covid. You have booked the ticket and for some reason you cannot make it to the temple, what wrong in cancelling the ticket so that some other devotee can get the darshan. So why cannot TTD cancel the booking and issue refund. I hope TTD is not in such bad shape that it has to steal from devotee now.

Yes, A person who cannot make due to other commitment will have to cancel this booking and this is a fair ask to refund the amount. Bank will take of refund if TTD share the details to them, see the bright see few more people will get job to process the refund of devotee who have valid reason and ask for refund.

Secondly, I believe Lord Venkateswara will not be happy if is devotee spend their money without visiting him for a darshan. May the story is different if TTD employee need this sort of money collected and making devotee unhappy.

Third, Once their is slot booked, your system will not allow to book another sort Sr C within 90 days and will have to book for Rs 300 darshan.

The worst hidden travel fees and how to avoid them

With travel prices soaring, customers might be tempted to pick the cheapest base option they find. But the base price of airfare and hotels represents only a fraction of the total costs. A parade of add-on fees await any traveler trying to navigate the checkout process, ballooning the final price. Experts call it “drip pricing.”

“It’s called ‘drip’ because surcharges and fees drip out throughout the shopping process,” says Vicki Morwitz, a professor of business and marketing at the Columbia Business School.

Customers tend to overpay when prices are presented this way, according to a study conducted by Morwitz and her colleagues.

“Customers are more likely to select an option that looks cheaper upfront. Even when they later realize it’s more expensive than they anticipated, they’re more likely to stick with it,” she says.

From resort fees and boarding-pass printing fees (yes, that’s a thing ), companies were padding their bottom lines with these add-ons even before inflation soared this year. Avoiding them requires diligence and know-how.

HOTEL RESORT FEES

Resort fees, which are sometimes called “facility fees” or “destination fees” purportedly cover amenities like internet and pool access. But because the fees are mandatory, they act as hidden costs for booking a room that don’t appear until final checkout.

“Resort fees are the only travel fee that has no correlation to any actual service or product,” says Lauren Wolfe, counsel at Travelers Unite d, an advocacy group for travelers. She’s also the founder of the website Kill Resort Fees. “If your hotel charges for parking, if you don’t have a car, you don’t pay to park. Hotel resort fees, though, are almost impossible to get out of even if you decline amenities.”

Here are some tips to minimize these pesky fees:

— Pay with points at brands that waive resort fees for award stays, like Hilton and Hyatt.

— Ask the front desk to waive the fee. “It is probably not likely to work but you can always ask nicely,” Wolfe says.

— Look for a search option on a hotel website or app to “show rate with taxes and fees” or similar. This will help compare real prices directly and avoid the hassle of clicking through to the final checkout windows.

AIRLINE SEAT SELECTION FEES

Despite a recent uptick, the cost of airfare has actually been dropping for years. That might sound like good news, but that hides a hidden trend: Airlines have been gathering more of their revenue from add-on fees while lowering the base price of airfare.

Charging for seat selection is one of the newest, and most galling, tricks. These fees usually appear during checkout and often seem mandatory.

These fees are almost always avoidable, though. Simply skipping the seat selection process and letting the airline assign a seat at a later date is often the wisest choice if you don’t mind the risk of getting stuck with a middle seat.

Airlines want customers to pay these fees, of course, and often share scary warnings about the dangers of not picking a seat. But skipping seat selection doesn’t increase your chances of getting bumped from a flight.

And note that some airlines, such as Southwest, don’t charge for seat selection.

VACATION RENTAL CLEANING FEES

Everyone wants a clean vacation rental, but nobody wants to pay exorbitant cleaning fees that can exceed the base cost of the rental.

It’s almost impossible to avoid these fees outright, as most properties carry them. But it is possible to avoid paying too much.

Most vacation rental platforms, including Airbnb, offer some option to compare “total price,” which includes cleaning and other fees. It isn’t always easy to filter and sort on total price, but seeing this price on the search screen rather than the checkout screen can vastly simplify comparison shopping.

And note, unlike resort fees — which are usually added to every night booked — cleaning fees are applied once. A $100 cleaning fee might be intolerable for one night but reasonable for 10. So, the best way to avoid cleaning fees on short stays is usually to book a hotel instead.

DON’T GET DRIPPED

The underlying psychology of add-on fees is simple: We get lured in by the low sticker price, then grudgingly accept the extra costs.

Countering this bias is equally simple in theory, if not in practice. Ignore sticker prices and compare final prices only — taking all fees into account. And avoid as many optional fees (such as airline seat selection) as possible.

We may consider the following reasons for the Cancellation/ Preponement/ Postponement/ Reschedule:

• Individual Met with Accident.
• Death of their blood related persons.
• Girls attaining puberty.
• Medical Issues.

If we considering the Cancellation Preponement/Postponement/Reschedule the following documents has to be produced:-

• Death Certificate/ Postmortem Certificate/Burial Ground Certificate to be produced.
• Hospital Case sheet or Doctor's certificate to be produced.
• Self Certificate from the individual concerned.
• No cancellation/Preponement/Postponement Within 8 Days before the commencement of the 'Daily Tirupati Tour'
• No cancellation Within 24 hours before the commencement of all other tour except "Daily Tirupati Tour"
• Online customers can cancel their tour ticket through online.
• If booking made by online, refund of money for Cancellation will be as per Rules. The refund amount will be credited to your credit card/debit card account through online.
• No refund will be allowed if the tourist misses the coach or cancels the journey after the departure of the coach.
• Cancellation charges will be levied as below. Between 24 to 48 Hours =50%, Before 48 Hours=25%.
• Only one postponement / preponement is permitted before 24 hours subject to availability of seats and operation of tour.
• If one postponement / preponement is availed, no further preponement/postponement or cancellation will be permitted.
• 2% transaction charge will be levied for every cancellation.

Cancellation Policy

• All flight packages are a combination of three components, 1. Flight Tickets, 2. Balaji Darshan Pass & 3. Hotel, Cab & Others, cancellation charges are different for each of these and it is as per below stated for each.
• Flight Ticket: Cancellation policy is as per the airlines on your ticket, in general, the cancellation charges are between ₹ 3000 to ₹ 3700 per person per route depending on the airlines.
• Balaji Darshan Pass: If a darshan pass is taken, 100% of the darshan pass cost is non-refundable and it is non-transferable the cost of the tickets can be seen on the AP Tourism Darshan Tickets. (The price of the darshan pass is under the sole discretion of AP Tourism)
• Hotel, Cab & Others: Cancellation charges will be on the cost excluding flight ticket & darshan pass price.
• Cancellation charges per person
• Before 30 Days of departure: 20%
• 30 Days to 15 Days before departure: 40%
• 14 Days to 7 Days before departure: 60%
• 6 Days to 0 Days before departure or No Show: 100%
• 2 Days before departure: 100%
• If flights are getting canceled or rescheduled : If your flight is canceled or you didn't want to opt for the rescheduled flight 1. You will get a full refund on the airline ticket, 2. If Darshan Pass is generated that particular amount will not be refundable & 3. The service charge of 350/- is deducted per adult.

FORCE MAJEURE

In these booking conditions, 'force majeure' means any event which My Divine Trip / the supplier of the service(s) in question, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include disruptions/diversions of air services, floods, earthquakes, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, disease outbreaks, fire, and all similar events outside the control of the party concerned. We cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our obligations under our agreement with you is prevented or affected by, or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of, 'force majeure'.

Things to Know

Dress code to temple.

• Gents: Kurta, Pyjama/ Dhoti with Shirt or Pancha with Shirt.
• Ladies: Half Saree/ Chudidhar with Dupatta/ Saree. (Western outfit not allowed like Jeans, Night pant, Track Suit etc)

Instructions while visiting Temples

• Pilgrims who book for Darshan should bring the printed copy of their receipt.
• All devotees required to carry original Photo ID proof at the time of reporting
• Not to carry Electronic gadgets like Mobile, Laptop etc.
• Darshan tickets are non-transferrable.

Age Limit for Darshan

• Ticket required for 12+ years. Below 12 years of age, darshan is free, should be accompanied by parents. The child required to carry age proof to avail free entry.

APSRTC online ticket reservation booking and APSRTC cancellation can be used by an individual to book their tickets in advance and also can cancel bus tickets for any reason. In this article, let us discuss how to book bus tickets online and how to cancel bus tickets online.

7 Simple Steps to Book Bus Tickets using APSRTC website

• Register and login or directly access (without registration or login) the APSRTC official website www.apsrtconline.in
• Search for the bus tickets by filling “from” (the place from which you wish to start your journey) and “to” (the place to which you want to reach).
• Choose the date on which you are departing and if you want to book return tickets you can opt for return journey also by choosing return date (optional but advised to book for pre-planned journeys).
• After filling above details click on check availability and you will be displayed with a list of buses and seats available for your choices.
• The list can be sorted out and filtered by using start time of journey, the time period of traveling (estimated total journey time), bus ticket price, type of bus (AC or Non-AC, sleeper, luxury, super-deluxe), etc. options.
• Select specific bus tickets that match your requirement and click on seats, then you will be asked to select “boarding point”, “destination point”, and category you belong to (such as general public, APSRTC employee).
• Choose the options and click on layout, you will be displayed with bus seat layout. Choose the seats that are comfortable for you (based on vacancy, the same is shown with color codes).
• Fill up the passenger detail such as Primary passenger name, mobile, email ID, gender, name, age and proceed to book.
• Ensure that the mobile number and email were given are accessible as your e-ticket SMS and email will be delivered to this number and email.
• Proceed to the payment from multiple options that include online net banking, credit card, debit card, wallets, etc. as per your convenient. Once you finish the payment you will get a confirmation SMS and email about your online ticket booking.

• Visit the APSRTC official website and click on option “cancel tickets” you will be asked to provide ticket no, UID number, and mobile number.
• Once you enter all these details, you will be displayed with your ticket booking information.
• Proceed to APSRTC cancellation, and confirm cancellation request after reading the full terms & conditions for ticket cancellation.

Pakistani police charge 23 people with being part of a mob that murdered a blasphemy suspect

PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) — Police in Pakistan have arrested 23 people accused of being part of a mob that killed a man suspected of desecrating the Quran, Islam’s holy book. The suspects were charged with murder and burning a police station in Madyan, a tourist destination in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan, where the mob killed the man on Thursday and burned his body. Police said Monday that more raids are underway. Blasphemy accusations are common in Pakistan. Under the country’s blasphemy laws, anyone found guilty of insulting Islam or Islamic religious figures can be sentenced to death.
