The 2017 29er (or 27.5) Rhythm can have the travel changed by changing air shaft assemblies. The highest the 29er will go is 130mm. They said the 2017 and 2018 Rhythm part numbers are the same. Yes, you can lower that fork. A talented mechanic can lower nearly any fork to some degree. That being said, the 2014 Fit 34 should have Fox's older pin ladder system on the air spring, or do the ol' travel reducing spacer on the top of the air spring, or a mix of both. From memory, I think the 14' 34 uses a mix of both.

I read on the Fox website that it has 2 air spacers. It says that if your sag is set correctly and you are using all your travel you can add a spacer to regulate it from bottoming out.
