Tour itinerary

We will leave this morning and travel to Galena, IL, where we will be staying for two nights. Lunch on your own. We will be into the hotel by late afternoon. We will be staying at the Desoto House Hotel, which is located downtown with many restaurants and shops near by. Dinner is included tonight with ’Ulysses S. Grant’.

Afterhavingour breakfast (included in tour) we will be heading out for a tour of Ulysses S. Grant’s home. You will be free for the rest of the day to explore this beautiful town. Dinner and evening are at your leisure.

We will be heading back home after eating your breakfast (included in tour). We will be home by late afternoon after enjoying this trip to the beautiful and historic town of Galena, IL.

Violet and I were on you tour to the New Englund states for the fall colors!. Sept 29 to Oct. 10, 2012. This a trip that we will remember for the rest of our lives. A wonderful variety of places to see. From Niagara Falls, we were taken on secondary roads... it is great to see how the real people live... I was disapointed in the Henry Ford Museum but that has nothing to do with Glenns tour. Niagara Falls was so majestic and grand.... I have to admit that Boston was my favorite. American History is a special interest to me. Our guide, Charlie, made every thing he said, feel like we were seeing it on a screen. I wish we could have spent even more time in Boston, I would have like to have seen the Kennedy Libarary and Museum. The clam chowder was great. Even the memory tastes good.. Lake Placid was another wonderful city to see. Thank you Glenn and Peggy for a great trip... you both took very good care of us. Kareen and Violet

They did get us to our destination of Myrtle Beach, but any tour company can do that. They did show poor customer service with the pick-up and drop-off policy. Had a 2:00 A.M. pick-up which I spent the whole week preparing for but was unable to sleep the day before. Since the pick-up spot was in a retail parking lot I did not feel like I wanted to leave my car there for 10 days so I had to pay a fortune for an Uber. It turned out the first day was 15 hours of riding on a bus with uncomfortable seats and poor suspension. Would have thought the return trip would have been more fair and I would have been dropped off first, but no!!!! There policy is first on last off and that if the way it is. This is not disclosed at the time they take your money. It should be. I for one have chronic pain and those conditions are really bad for me. They showed they cared a lot more about their DOT requirements then customer service. Anothe thing that angers me is the tour director was off the bus 4 hours before the last drop off and when she got off there was no more free wi-fi or bathroom breaks. I will never do business with this company again.

Website redesign for one of the largest tour and charter companies in the Midwest.

Glenn's Motorcoach is one of the largest tour companies in the Midwest, with an ever-growing client and repeat client list of over 21,000 people.

Project brief

Glenn's Motorcoach Tours needed a better way to display, manage, and update their ever-changing extensive tours and charters. GMT wanted to be able to manage its tour schedules, itinerary, and loading locations. Customer reviews needed to display along with a newsletter sign-up that would funnel into their existing CRM.

What we did

We started this project with wireframe mockups that we turned into high-functioning designs. We used Webflow as our CMS (content management system) to load all of the available tours Glenn's Motorcoach had scheduled. The GMT staff can easily add, remove, and update all tours and charters on the website. Phase two of this project will be the addition of an E-Commerce checkout system. (slated for Fall).
