Go Irish Tours planned it all for us

Go Irish Tours helped us plan our two week trip to Ireland. They sorted the rental car for us, booked all the hotels, and gave us some pointers on things to do and enjoy. we loved our visit.

Outstanding first trip

Thanks to Go Irish Tours, we experienced a perfect first vacation in Ireland. Ben Kilmurray looked after every detail for us with exemplary service and was quick to make any requested alterations. All of the accommodation chosen for us was truly outstanding. It seemed far too easy and worry-free for us, but every particular was flawless - a great service for travellers provided by Go Irish Tours. We highly recommend Ben and Go Irish.

BEST COMPANY EVER!

WOW! I have to say if anyone has ANY hesitation about booking with GoIrishTours I have to tell you that they are absolutely FIRST CLASS! Ben went WAY above and beyond to help us plan an absolutely perfect first ever trip to Ireland and Scotland. Not only was Ben patient and supportive in helping us get the perfect trip but we was available the entire time we were on the trip. we had to make a slight adjustment due to travel delays and he was right on it. I would not hesitate to recommend, and I will be using them in the future. Can't wait to go back!

Best trip to date!

I had an amazing vacation with GoIrishTours! From landing in Dublin to exploring the Cliffs of Moher, Giant's Causeway, and the Ring of Kerry, every moment was fantastic. We stayed in a mix of charming B&Bs and comfortable hotels, each adding its own unique touch to the experience. The tour was well-organized, and I got to see all the main attractions like Blarney Castle and the Guinness Storehouse. Highly recommend GoIrishTours for anyone wanting to explore the beauty of Ireland!

Spectacular vacation!!

We had a group of 11 and every one of us had the most wonderful trip with Go Irish Tours!! Every hotel was beautiful and check in was a breeze! Let me tell you about our bus driver, Ciaran Healy. Wow!!!! HE MADE OUR TRIP SPECTACULAR!!! He was so excited to show us his country! He is very knowledgeable and entertaining! We had a blast!! He felt more like a friend of the family, then a tour guide. You can tell he loves his job!! Thank you Ciaran, we appreciate you making the Monahan family vacation one we will never forget!!

Trip of a lifetime

I just finished a once in a lifetime journey with my family to Ireland. I contacted GoIrish and was so anxious about making the trip prefect for 14 family members. Mark Hyland was so patient while we created our itinerary. Laura Fogarty was an angel helping to finalize the final pieces of the trip to make it perfect. Upon arriving in Ireland we met with the most wonderful bus driver/guide, Ciaran Healy. He made our entire trip magical! He was so knowledgeable, funny, accommodating and made us all feel safe.

Ireland bus tour a big success because of our bus driver

We loved our Ireland trip! The biggest reason it went so great is because our driver, Ciaran, was so knowledgeable, so accommodating, and so professional. Everyday he met us with a big smile and enthusiasm to show off his land to our group. He gave us tips on what to do and where to go in the evenings. He answered all our never ending questions without being frustrated. We accidentally left a few items on the bus on our last day. Ciaran made sure he met us half way to the airport and gave them to us the following day on his personal time. That was very nice of him. He certainly raised the bar for future bus tours we book next time. Melike

The tour was not what we expected

The tour was not what we expected. We knew that we would be moving around the country, but didnt understand that we would be in a car driving for about 4-5 hours per day. We spent a day or two at the most in one place and spent most of every day in the car. We would drive for 2 hours and then get out and spend less than an hour to experience the place we were going to and then back in the car. There was no time put aside for lunch and so we usually ate at a rest stop on the side of the road. The first Bed and Breakfast in Kinsale was horrible. There was no hot water in the shower and so we were unable to take a shower and their solution was to buy us a drink. They also suggested we ask some others who were traveling with us to use their shower. Not a great solution. By the way when we ordered our free drink, an espresso martini, they told us it was to expensive. All in all, Ireland is beautiful but be prepared to sit in a car and gaze at it, and not experience it.

Five Star Experience with 8 Day Self-Drive Tour

Myself and my stepdaughter recently did an 8 day self drive itinerary with Go Irish Tours. We worked with Ben and the trip was flawless. Ben was very responsive pre trip and while in country, kept in touch and made sure all was well. We had an excellent time and would recommend Go Irish Tours and Ben Kilmurray to anyone interested in visiting the beautiful Emerald Isle.

Goirishtours Simply amazing

Dear Tina I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my profound gratitude for the exceptional experience we had during our recent trip to Ireland with your tour company. Initially, I harbored some uncertainties about transitioning to a different tour company, but you swiftly alleviated all my doubts. The time we spent exploring Ireland was nothing short of amazing. Your attention to detail in helping organize the vow renewal ceremony was truly heartwarming. I can't thank you enough for that thoughtful gesture. The officiant's ability to evoke such strong emotions, to the point of making my wife and me shed tears of joy, is a testament to the exceptional service you provide. Your patience and willingness to accommodate our requests did not go unnoticed, and I appreciate your understanding even when I may have been a bit demanding. Your involvement and dedication truly made our journey to Ireland an unforgettable one. Thank you once again for your time, dedication, and for making our trip to Ireland a truly memorable experience. We are incredibly grateful for everything you did to ensure our trip was nothing short of amazing. With heartfelt thanks and appreciation, T&G

Aoife made our trip worry free with her oversight. She checked in with us to make sure all was going well. The planning was smooth and her suggestions for our visit were superb. We had a great visit and want to come for another trip.

Great experience overall. The package we received from Donna and her help regarding some refunds at the end of our trip was very helpful. We will definitely recommend go Irish tours to others and use it again if we come back and visit again. Keep up the great work.

Ireland and Scotland …gorgeous!!

Tina with Go Irish Tours booked our rooms and vehicles for our self drive tour based on the things and places we wanted to see and everything went so smooth! It was a trip of a lifetime!!

Ireland is beautiful, very green, and so friendly.

We hada wonderful time in Ireland. Aoife from GoIrish was so patient and helpful. We saw almost everything we wanted to see on our self drive tour. The people are so nice everywhere. If we asked for directions they would sometime walk us there. Our hotels all had a made to order hot breakfast. Three of the hotels were fantastic and the fourth, The Copper Kettle B&B I would definitely not recommend. We had some rain and a lot of wind, but we still had a great time. I would recommend GoIrish tours.

What a wonderful experience working with Ben…

What a wonderful experience working with Ben from GoIrish! Everything was perfectly arranged for us and every person he connected us with was top rate. He was in amazing contact with recommendations and support for everything and even sent us treats for our travels. Ben followed up with anything we needed or wanted and made this a memorable first trip to Ireland. Thank you!

Date of experience : 25 April 2024

Great trip !!

Great trip !! Ben really took of all pre-logistics so we could just enjoy our trip without wondering if we booked the right hotel for the events we had planned. It would have really sunk to book a hotel 50 miles from where we wanted to be. Also having Go Irish Tours book some of our events/tours made the trip less stressful. Not having to get up every morning and Google what was around us made for a relaxing morning. What I really liked was that Ben didn’t put us “ in a box”. We like our trips be about 70 % planned with the other 30% left open so we can change our day . Having our tour set-up as a self - tour made that possible. So while we were offered a more traditional tour by Ben at Go Irish Tours we opted for the self -tour without having to put the self-tour together on our own.

Exceptional attention to detail!

We are on day 7 of our 10-day Irish adventure and needed to come here to say how impressed we have been with the accommodations Dylan arranged for us. Each hotel has been lovely and perfectly located for all the adventures we've been on, but our very favorite by far is last night's stay at Ballyseede Castle! 🏰 We had a surprise upgrade into the Bridal Suite complete with Prosecco on ice 🍾with white chocolate strawberries 🍓and a personal note from Dylan and Go Irish Tours 💌! Everything was simply perfect! We are now en route to Galway and Dylan is busy working to secure some spa services for us since our Internet efforts haven't panned out. He's been helpful, friendly and professional since the beginning. We highly recommend Go Irish Tours and send a big thank you to Dylan☘️🇮🇪💚

Dylan, the BEST travel specialist

Dylan is truly the BEST travel specialist!! He is truly determined to make our trip a "one in a lifetime experience". He is personable, knowledgeable, accessible, and great sense of humor. It took us a few tries to get our custom Ireland/Scotland tour as we wanted it but Dylan was more than happy to make changes, address our questions, and really cares about getting it right for us. Ask for Dylan when planning your Irish tour!

Ireland road trip!

Bobby & I just got home from a 2 week self-guided Ireland road trip. We used GoIrishTours and worked with Donna to plan. We told Donna where we wanted to go and she provided us with suggestions for the hotels in each location. We were then able to tweak the plans as we wanted. Perfect plan. We loved all the variety that she gave us from the Brook's Hotel in downtown Dublin, to the family owned Crystal Springs, in Galway and the finale was an 18th century castle in Dalkey. She was easy to work with, professional, and made all of our connections streamlined. We highly recommend GoIrishTours & Donna

Excellent experience

Planning for my 50th birthday trip in 3 years has been an absolute breeze with GoIrish Tours. Our agent, Mark, has been so easy to work with, even when we decided to change our arrival location from Belfast to Dublin. He has also made excellent suggestions for our itinerary. 10/10 would recommend!

Great experience

We worked with Tina Marie at Go Irish tours to develop a completely customized 16 day tour with a private driver. Tina was easy to work with and very responsive to our wishes. She helped us pick hotels and ensured that we had adequate time to sightsee with our driver and on our own in various locations. Our driver Damian was a dream and we were astounded at how knowledgeable he was regarding the history of both Ireland and Scotland. He took us to some off the beaten path locations for some stunning photo opportunities. Tina remained in contact with us throughout the trip to help answer questions and even made some last minute changes for us when we wanted to move on to our next location sooner and do a hotel change at another location. She made it very easy and seamless. All in all a great experience.

The company has figured out everything for you…

The company has figured out every little detail that makes a trip great. Down to the rest stops, the scenic stops for pictures, the guide (ours was Austin). The ring of Kerry. the cliffs of Moher, the Dublin castle, the renaissance dinner all of it was 10/10. This trip was me, my mother, and my sister and we have been planning this trip for years. I am very happy we went with this company. Multiple times we commented that we never would have thought to go the places they took us. The hotels were also really nice, all but the last one. I will definitely be booking with this company again.

Originally booked a tour in 2020

Originally booked a tour in 2020, Covid hit and we had to delay the trip. 2021, tried to reschedule, but more Covid. When trying to get in touch with GoIrishTours, only could do so by email and could wait up to 6 weeks for a response. Ditto in 2022. Finally made it in 2023 but the communications with GoIrishTours did not improve, had issue in Ireland with reservations, but no way to get this corrected with the tour company. Would NEVER use them again.

GoIrish Tours did an excellent job…

GoIrish Tours did an excellent job booking our trip to Ireland. Their local knowledge allowed us to visit towns that otherwise we would have overlooked. We spent time in Kinsale, a city we’d never heard of, and it became one of our favorite experiences. The accommodations were wonderful with one exception. When we contacted Dylan and Tina they found us another hotel and upgraded all our other hotels. We’ve been to Ireland twice, and if we return we will definitely ask GoIrish to book our trips

Great your company!

I would 100% book with go Irish tours again. Our travel agent Dylan Ross was wonderful, responsive and made sure we had the trip we wanted to take. He had at least two personal phone calls with me to ensure we got what we wanted and when we got there it was what we had expected.

Two days before arriving in Dublin, while in Galway, received an email mail from GoIrishTours that our Dublin accommodations has been changed from Arthaus Hotel to Maldron Smithfield. Paid in full in March 2023. Called Arthaus and were told reservations had been cancelled - not by Arthaus. Of course, two days before game no rooms are available n Dublin!!! Purposely booked to be within walking distance of stadium, same hotel as friends were staying, and amenities. Do NOT book with Go Irish Tours - you will be sorry!!!! This is a trip we have planned for years - interrupted by Covid - and now not at all the experience we planned for and paid for far in advance. The difference in rooms booked and and paid for and rooms we now have is $80 per night x 4 nights - great bonus for the tour company! Not so good for us to now be in a hotel further away with no air conditioning or charm.

We just booked our fourth trip and we…

We just booked our fourth trip and we leverages the services of GO IRISH TOURS. At first, we spoke with mark, but he was abruptly promoted. Thats when we were introduced to laura, marks extremely competent and motivation LAURA had immeasurable patience with us and our 1000 questions and went absolutely above and beyond with every infinitesimal detail, and so much more. LAURA is extremely down to earth, personable (and packs a great SENSE of humor) and made the entire traveling process a million times easier. We could not have done it without her; I don't believe you could find a better choice for a travel agent and I will recommend her to everyone. I knew potentially we (meaning me) might be a challenge with how picky we were. Instead of being dismissive or lackadaisical, she took us through the process as if we were her own family, and I will never be able to thank her enough for treating us so well. As far as laura's work effort, she knew exactly when to push, when to back off, and when to say "no absolutely not," for your benefit throughout the process. She is clearly very skilled and absolutely will not let you go through with or book something without vetting first. She was 100% on top and ahead of every decision to be made. Her communication was always consistent and on point. She was always easy to contact (phone, text, email, whatsapp). She stayed in touch from day 1 to the start of the trip and made sure everything was completely perfect. Absolutely winning with team laura " - Chris and Jodi Flynn

Donna was Excellent for Ireland tour I started looking for a tour of Ireland…

I started looking for a tour of Ireland . I found Go Irish Tours. They have flexible tours. I got a reply back from Donna at Go Irish Tours. We went over what I wanted to do in Ireland. She was great offering lots of places to go and sights to see. They arranged the 7 hotels and car rental. The hotels we picked we had a list for each town stay. We only altered one after we made our choice. Adjusting was not a problem. We drove to Galway right after we landed. Stopped along the way for a light lunch. Galway was an excellent place. We toured Connemara walked about Shop Street and went to pubs for music 🎵. The best one was Tig Coili they had music 🎵 early and late. It only got better from there. Then onto Westport. Nice area. Another great music 🎵 place was found. Very friendly town. Onto Kerry. The Cliffs of Moher excellent. What a spectacular natural sight. Leave about 2 hours for this . Get there early and bring a snack and water. Be prepared for uphill climbing and downhill walking to see the sights. We also stopped at Corcomroe Abbey. A bit hard to find off the car GPS but it only a mile away from the main road. Dingle peninsula breathtaking views. We stopped at Muckross house., Torc waterfall, Ross Castle. All close to each other. Stayed at the Dingle Benet’s hotel in the middle of the town. I liked this hotel the beast. Old world charm and great front desk service. More music 🎵 right across the street from the hotel. Multiple food options right there also. Onto Cork staying at the Imperial Hotel in town. We toured the English Market and more music 🎵 at night. We also stopped at Blarney Castle and kissed the Blarney Stone. Get there early in the morning lines to castle are long. Going back to Dublin we stopped by the Waterford Crystal factory. Saw the Viking experience then drove to Galway. Last hotel was very nice The Ashling. If you have a front room you get city views. We toured the Guinness Storehouse. Great views of the city from the Gravity Bar on top. We went to Trinity College and saw the Book of Kells. Toured the Temple bar area. This is a long street with many Temple bars. Music is everywhere here from 6pm on. One place started at noon. Nice walk and eat area. If you drive make sure to get tank fuel ⛽️ before going into town. There were no gas stations to be found on the way to the airport. Oh well. We had a great time Donna was excellent at smoothing out our few bumps in the road. I highly recommend you use this service. It made our trip memorable. Tom

Aoife was fantastic. They were very responsive and helpful on all of the requests that we had for our Honeymoon to Ireland. They even checked in with us a few times throughout the trip to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend GoIrishTours.

First international trip

My wife and I decided to go to Ireland for our 25th wedding anniversary and didn't want the stress of finding accommodations. Ben from Go Irish Tours was very helpful and knowledgeable about the various areas we wanted to see. He took the time to make suggestions on prebooking certain attractions as they frequently sell out, even in March! We had a wonderful trip, and would recommend Go Irish Tours.

Irish Classic

The Itinerary, accommodation, tour manage, driver and all the other guests were excellent. My wife and I were a little anxious about being on a tour bus with a large group of people that we didn't know but it turned out great. Friendly people across the bus all with the same goal of having a good time and leaving all the politics at home. Trip was well organized and it was a trip of a lifetime.

The greatest part of this experience was IRELAND and its people! Great Tour!…

Thank you GoIrish Tours for a very memorable and seamless private tour. We loved it. Any hiccup along the way was quickly and efficiently taken care of. Our driver was fantastic and knowledgeable Our bus was large and comfortable for the ten of us. With the exception of the Galway accommodation we loved our accommodation In Galway we were initially located in a suburban hotel but upon voicing our discontent they arranged got a beautiful and centrally located hotel for the next night. We loved the flexibility of GoIrish and would definitely recommend them again. Thanks for the outstanding memories.

10 Day Dream Trip

We recently returned from a ten day private tour with Go Irish Tours and Kieran our driver. I can’t fault it, every day was a new surprise, pubs and some of the most stunning locations. The hotels were amazing but our highlight was Ballynahinch castle this was like a whole new world. We spent our time exploring the southern half and Kieran has convinced us to comeback to see the North half as he said it’s is equally if not even more beautiful in places . Plans are already beginning and we are weighing up adding Scotland too . We can not wait and really recommend Go Irish Tours

Ireland and London trip

When i was planning our trip to Ireland and London. I did not know how to plan that kind of trip. I came across Go Irish Tours on the Web. I completed a form of what I was looking for. In less than a day Donna McNamee called me to start planning our trip to Ireland and London. Donna McNamee was excellant to deal with in planning our trip to Ireland and London. She was very attentive to our need and wants. She was always responsive to emails. She always answered our questions in a timely manner. Donna was always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the trip was the way we wanted it. Our trip was a self driven trip around the southern part of Ireland. We visited 5 cities in 6 days and then traveled to London for 4 days. Donna also checked in a couple of times during our trip to make sure there were no problems or issues. I would not hesitate to call Go Irish Tours or recommend Donna to any of my friends or family if they plan on visiting Ireland in the future. It was a trip of a lifetime thanks to Donna and Go Irish Tours!!

I booked with this company in 2019 and then the pandemic hit. Communication was good and then when we got ready to take our trip I got two email responses and then...nothing. Luckily, I had only paid my deposit. When things opened up in 2022, we decided to go with another tour company because we got no response from Go Irish Tours. The new company, Irish Tourism, planned our trip and we were ready to go in one week. Yesterday 04/23/2022, I received a bill from Go Irish Tours for the remainder of the tour I was supposed to take with them. Amazingly, this was after I emailed them and threatened them with a bad review on Trust Pilot with no response. They also do not answer their phone but there website is functional. UPDATE I did get in touch with the company and was refunded my deposit because I had attempted to take my tour but got no response. Their policy is not to give refunds but because I had an email thread that proved I had tried to schedule my tour with no response the company gave me my refund.

Goirishtours was the best way to visit Ireland for us, they really know how to make a tour individual for us and everything was just perfect. Ireland was always a top destination to visit and now that we have done it we cannot wait to go back. The fact that the agents are in Ireland is also great as all we needed to do was call if we need anything. We’ll definitely recommend them to our relatives. Thank you goirishtours.

Great trip!

We recently had a great trip to Ireland. I chose to use GoIrishTours because we wanted to experience the country on our own without structured tours but stay in well reviewed accommodations without spending time to find them ourselves. Tina Marie created a customized accommodation itinerary based on several conversations over a couple of months. With the time difference between Ireland and the Western US, phone communication was sometimes tricky but in the end we were quite satisfied with the experience. Another review mentioned the 10% surcharge if paying in US dollars which we also found to be a bit unreasonable and it was a nightmare trying to get our little bank to send Euros for payment. But they were very patient when our payment got lost and therefore was late in arriving. All the agents I spoke with were friendly and helpful and I would recommend GoIrishTours for a first trip to this beautiful country.

Retirement Trip to Ireland

I was hesitant at times about our booking with Go Irish Tours, because of response time to my questions, but I didn't remember the 5 hour time change. All of our accommodation arrangements were wonderful. The Ashling Hotel in Dublin was beautiful and included a full breakfast buffet. It was also within walking distance to the Guinness Distillery. The Andree House Bed and Breakfast in Killarney was also very clean and in a great location. The Trim Castle Hotel in Trim, Meath was a Five Star accommodation right in the heart of Trim. Go Irish Tours also arranged for out rental car through Hertz Car Rental. We would recommend that you pay the extra for a built in GPS. It was very helpful in our journeys. Thank YOU, Go Irish Tours for our 6 day itinerary that allowed us to have a pleasant memorable experience in Ireland!! CHEERS!!

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs. I am an avid traveler and this is the worst travel company experience I have ever had. I decided to let Go Irish Tour plan a trip to Ireland for my elderly parents, my husband and myself and it was a disappointment from the start. Firstly - they changed the final amount without alerting me right before the trip started and told me it was because a room in the original hotel wasn't available so they put us in an upgraded hotel but never got my approval for this. They told me it was due to staff turnover and that was the reason for the miscommuication. Secondly, on our first day of the tour, the driver was 3 hours late picking me up after my parents flew into Ireland on a red eye. We were sitting in the Westin lobby waiting with our bags for our and this delayed our entire first day making it impossible to see everything. The car did not have AC in the middle of the summer or working windows. IT was an old and dingy car and smelled bad. We asked several times for the company to change the car which they would not do for us almost to the point where i was getting quotes from additional companies during our couple of last days to make the journey more enjoyable for my parents. The driver would stop like 5-10 minutes away from the entry to some of our locationand tell us he couldn;t get closer then tell us to hurry out of the car since he was parked in an illegal lane. Finally, the second to last hotel was nearly unbearable, completely dissapointed my parents and made me wish I had booked the whole trip on my own and done my own research. After asking for compentsation for the poor experience, they have declined and haven't made any attempt to make it right

Absolutely fantastic experience with Goirishtours!

Absolutely fantastic experience with Goirishtours! From landing in Dublin to exploring the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, every moment was unforgettable. The accommodations were cozy and charming, from quaint B&Bs in Galway to luxurious hotels in Cork. The tour seamlessly blended must-see attractions like the Guinness Storehouse and the Ring of Kerry with hidden gems like the charming village of Adare. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, adding depth to every stop along the way. Highly recommend Goirishtours for an authentic and immersive Irish adventure!

Go Irish Scotland Tour

The itinerary as well as the arrangements were excellent. Our driver, Pearse was knowledgeable, funny and accommodating to our requests. We had a couple of glitches with admission tickets that were quickly resolved by the Go Irish staff. Well done!!

Go Irish did a really good job of coordinating our 15 day trip thru both Ireland and Scotland, our guide/driver Pearse was exceptional, we would highly recommend him, very knowledgeable, great understanding of the history of all the areas, gave us plenty of time for each excursion, never felt rushed and just a really nice guy. Once he got to know us he would suggest things to do that were in addition to the thing GoIrish had planned, we ended up skipping a couple things close to the end that we figured out during the trip we weren't as interested in and ended in a couple new things The mix of hotels was really good, with the variety of B & B's, one Castle and hotels, all were very welcoming and enjoyable, We really like the Republic of Ireland the best especially the smaller towns, the cities weren't as friendly and inviting as the rest of the areas but still had great historical places. Overall we had a great trip and your team and Pearse really made that possible. As I would never want to do it on our own and not having to drive made the trip so much more relaxing and enjoyable

Our itinerary was a rough draft, no times listed. The hotels, except those we specifically requested, were sub par - even after they "upgraded us at no expense". And, none of the hotels were in central locations to town, so it required us to eat at hotels for dinner and not be able to walk around the towns. Many of the vouchers were for shopping stores. We had a voucher for a cooking class that didn't exist - but were offered no refund. No itemized document but very expensive. VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE. Also, our travel agent was given my email address during the planning process but NEVER included me in the dialogue or planning. Very disappointed and would never use this agency again.

Don't bother. These guys just want your money, I recommend planning it yourself. There are lots of beautiful golf courses and their websites to visit. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!! You have been warned.

Avoid this company at all costs. We were planning a tour in Ireland as part of the Navy - Notre Dame Game and without a lot of time on my plate to do my own research I went with Go Irish tours. It all started out great, they were responsive and helpful in getting things booked and the itinerary looked good. That was all until we paid, then they stopped talking to us. Our tickets were booked, we had the reservation but when I asked about the driver I got crickets in response. The night before the tour was to begin I had to make multiple calls to get anyone to respond and finally after hours I finally got a name and a time for the next morning. The problem is we booked a tour and a driver was supposed to be a tour guide not just a driver. Their driver had 1 year total experience in Ireland, grew up in India and his family lived in Norway! Not the type of expert to give you a tour. He new how to get places via GPS but needed rest breaks on all the drives. 60% of our time was wasted driving from location to location because the driver needed breaks and the distances between locations were too far. Forget about city tours, there is no such thing with this company. Hotel reservations were all screwed up, we had requested 2 beds per room, and everyone one was single beds. We asked for a castle stay, got a country house, specifically said we wanted a castle tour, got ruins and not even a tour, just a drop off and walk around the area because they didn't arrange for a tour of the keep (It cost by the way 5 euro to add the keep) Times were all off. They scheduled us for a 1 p.m. tour of the Titanic in Belfast which was 7 hours away from our hotel in Galway (meaning we would have had to leave at 4 a.m. to get there in time). Unprofessional when we asked for help and now when we have left the tour will still not address our complaints or our asks for a refund due to costs incurred They give you a price in Euros, then when you are ready to book they convert it to $ and charge you 10% over market rate in conversion costs. I can keep going but avoid them.

Red flags, do not use this company. We used them to coordinate a trip with my elderly parents in law. The experience was not good, though to their credit they did try to help in the begining. Red flags: 1) Changed invoice amount right before trip, explanation being "first was wrong", after already paying deposit. To their credit they explained it was a staff turnover issue and worked to make it right. 2) Driver was 2.5 hours late day 1. Pushed entire trip off. 3) Car did not have A/C, working windows. We asked for help resolving with a new vehicle, did not ever make a change. We had elderly parents and it was very very uncomfortable. 4) One hotel well below par, very bad experience. We had a nice time at the other two hotels they booked for us, however we had to pay extra after the fact to get in. 5) Once asking for compensation for a poor experience, they completely ghosted us and did not ever attempt to make it right. Summary: Below par organization cutting corners to save costs at customers expense. Highly highly recommend not using.

Photo of Susan L.

if I could give no stars, I would. This company cost us money that we never got back by putting us in the two star hotels after we told them, we only want it four or five star hotels. The one hotel they put us in Galway was so disgusting and unsafe that we had to leave and pay for a new place to stay for two nights at our own cost. Go Irish tours could care less and are unresponsive. They owe us the money for those two nights in Galway. They even told us they dropped that hotel previously because of customer complaints, but never bothered to tell us or change our reservations. Now we are out all that money and go Irish tours won't even respond to us.

Photo of Martin D.

My wife and I were extremely happy with our first time visiting Ireland. Jessica did a great job setting up our itineraries . They are very helpful when you call their office. We had an amazing time and loved the people , food and all the beautiful sites we saw.

Photo of Mike R.

This company has had quite a bit of our money for over two years. We booked a tour in 2019. The trip was canceled by them in March of 2020 due to Covid. Had multiple issues getting answers about a refund or replacing with another tour with our original agent Michelle. Was told I would receive a credit. Contacted company and was told Michelle no longer works there. Been dealing with Tinamarie for several months now. We are unable to get any answers and her promises to contact us have failed multiple times. I would not recommend these thieves to anyone.

Photo of Patricia S.

Although they were responsive and cordial they did not produce a tour. THey cancelled twice over a 2 year period. When an alternative tour came up in the price we had contracted they said no, the monies could not go to another one of their tours, we would have to rebook the original tour at the new increased price. Again they cancelled. Same song, book original tour at new increased price. Of course over a 2 year period, being elderly the health issues have changed. Even with a doctors note they have refused to refund us, blaiming it on CIE. My contract is with them They have kept our money with a promise the money is coming. They are a broker for CIE and they claim CIE is holding back the refund yet my contract i with Go Irish Tours. DON'T GO THERE UNTIL THEY BECOME HONEST!!!

Legendary pop star announces huge tour is coming to the UK – and tickets go on sale this week

THIS iconic musician has been performing across the world for six decades - and shows no sign of slowing down.

As their 2024 world tour continues, they have now added four UK dates as they round off the year on home turf.

Sir Paul McCartney is performing his first UK dates in two years

We are of course talking about Sir Paul McCartney, undoubtedly one of the most defining UK musicians ever.

He will be performing two dates at Co-Op Live in Manchester, and two dates at London's O2 Arena this December, with tickets available from this Friday at 10am.

The 81-year-old first found fame in The Beatles alongside John Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison, who formed in Liverpool back in 1960 and remain to this day one of the most beloved bands of all time.

Their success triggered the unmatched "Beatlemania" which saw them become heartthrobs across the globe.

Paul has since become one of the greatest selling artists of all time across the globe, spanning music genres from pop to psychadelic rock.

He officially became Sir Paul McCartney after being knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1997.

The Paul McCartney Got Back live tour will see him perform some of hit biggest hits from The Beatles, Wings and his solo career.

The new dates will be McCartney's first shows in the UK since Glastonbury back in 2022 - where he celebrated his 500th show with his band.

Ben Kilmurey did an amazing job organizing our trip for us. I mentioned our interests and he arranged an itinerary and lodgings that allowed for self paced tour withh flexibility. His recommendations and bookings were spot on and we were enchanted. We enjoyed every moment. We were able to enjoy all we asked for and it only whetted our appetite for more of this beautiful country. We will be back and when next we come to Irish shores we will use Goirish tours!

Worry free experience

Aoife made our trip worry free with her oversight. She checked in with us to make sure all was going well. The planning was smooth and her suggestions for our visit were superb. We had a great visit and want to come for another trip.

Great experience overall

Private party of 9 tour

Good day! We've been back home now for a little over a week and finally settled back in so I wanted to write a quick note to thank you for putting together such an enjoyable experience for us. The 9 of us enjoyed our trip immensely and we made some great memories with my 85 year old mother in law who was finally able to see the country her roots are from. Donna thank you for all the time you put into this trip to make it what it was. I would also like to let you know that our driver ( Sean Hogan) was an absolute blessing to us. I understand that he was a last minute driver that the bus company got for whatever reason but we are so very glad that we did. Sean was so pleasant and always went way above and beyond to make our trip as perfect as he could. He not only was our driver and tour guide but he scouted restaurants ahead of us to make sure they could accommodate our large party, he recommended all the best places he knew, he introduced us to people along the way and on one particular stop he even stopped someone from trying to steal 2 of our suitcases and did it without causing a scene. Sean is a retired Dublin police officer (Detective Sgt) and we always felt safe and taken care of. Three of us in our group are active or retired law enforcement here in the States and we all felt a bond with Sean that I am certain will last much longer than our trip. Please send along our praise to Sean's boss who runs the bus company. You all did such an amazing job for us and we can't thank you enough. We will be sure to recommend Go Irish Tours and especially you Donna to anyone we meet who is considering a trip to Ireland. Sincerely Ken Rebello and Group Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android

Skip this company!

Easy to work with while setting up our trip. Final invoice was a disaster, changes with no explanation and amounts due were unclear and differed greatly between all parties going on the trip. We never did received an actual detailed cost invoice. Unrealistic tour routing, and impossible to see and do everything that was on the daily schedule AND route had us going back and forth with hours spent in the van. They can’t route logistically. We told her the things we wanted to do or liked and she suggested some places and must see attractions. Most hotels were not close to town, and not walkable to town. Don’t do it, go elsewhere for your trip to Ireland. We have travelled before with companies such as Avalon, Globus, CIE, Cosmos etc. We hear Love Irish is good to work with and can read a map to properly plan the day’s routes. We ran into a number of Love Irish tour groups, Skip GoIrish, it is lower cost for a reason. Pre tour stay at the Ashling Hotel in Dublin was wonderful, food was great and rooms were great. Day 9/20 of the driving tour (day 2 on our itinerary), our driver informed us the route didn't make sense, the Rock of Cashel would be better on day two so we weren't driving back and forth and spending additional hours in the van, a lot of back and forth driving and not allowing us to visit the planned attractions. Day 3, 9/21 we received a different driver and he did stay with us the rest of the trip, and we did not go to the English Market as it was a just a big open air market and not enough time to see other stops. The Triden Hotel was nice, good food and walking distance to town. Day 4-5 9/22 & 9/23 Hotel Killarney for two nights was a maze to walk through and to get to our rooms. Driver did not offer to carry or wheel our bags to rooms or ask the hotel for a baggage cart. We were traveling with older ladies, hip and back issues so this was difficult to manage. When we checked out, I borrowed the luggage cart and then the driver said he would get our bags off the cart, but apparently forgot because we had to roll them out to the van anyway. Breakfast was fine, but this is a tour motel, many other tour group were there. I planned to do Laundry here as it was mid way in our trip, glad I packed enough clothes to not need to do laundry. I checked before we left and "yes we do offer send out laundry returned the next day"..... well that is only weekdays, not the weekend which they failed to clarify. Day 6 9/24 we were at the Dingle Skellig Hotel, what a great hotel and breakfast was great. Too bad it rained out our day but the hotel made up for it with the quality of the room and food. Day 7 9/25 The Seashore Lodge B&B was terrible the room was just so so, one of our party found dirty clothes in a bag in the room in plain site, and the bathroom contained used or partially full toiletries and NO LIFT. The included breakfast was terrible, we were offered eggs and sausage coffee/tea and it would be ready at 8:30a. It was almost inedible, only one egg, tasted terrible and INSTANT Coffee. We went to another sheep dog demo so didn't see the Caherconnel demo or the Burren. Day 8 9/26 our last day in Ireland we stayed near the airport at the Maldron and it was great, nice rooms and good food, included a courtesy van to get to the airport. First driver made sure we had his phone number to call him if we needed him. The second driver was very hesitant to leave us his number and it wasn't until 9/25 that he gave us his number. One of our party had a personal emergency and we could not reach our driver so the hotel was kind enough to help her arrange transport to the Dublin airport to return to the USA. The tours were mostly self guided when guided tours were offered. The "vouchers" oh my what a waste of paper and trees. The vouchers were just additional duplication of our Itinerary Summary. The only ones needed were those for hotels and paid guided tours. Most were a waste but we were told to make sure we printed and had a copy with us. Overall, disappointing, we had a good time but not because of the planning of the tour and itinerary. Guided tours were missing for the most part as previously mentioned. We talked with people in the hotels during breakfast etc and we struggled to find "good" things to say about our itinerary.

Go Irish Tours gave us a trip of a lifetime

We just returned from a 21 day self driving trip around Ireland and Scotland. The entire trip was arranged for us by TinaMarie Bennett of Go Irish Tours. I can't say enough good about Tina and what she did for us. She listened very carefully to what we wanted in a trip, made suggestions (some we didn't follow and now wish we had!!) and designed an incredible lifetime experience. Tina picked all of the hotels for us, including a few Castle Hotels that were just amazing. A few times I went back to her and asked her to upgrade to another hotel with higher ratings. We stayed in 14 different places on our adventure, and I can honestly say that only one of them was questionable. Many deserved 6 stars!!! Tina had numerous conference calls with my wife and I. Both to nail down details and to aleve our anxiety of such a huge trip. When I would contact Tina, if she wasn't available, she was quick to get back to me within 12 hours. The best news is that we did not have one single issue with any of the hotels when checking in. Our reservations were on the books, and the room already paid for. That was one of my biggest worries, that the hotel wouldn't have our reservation, or that it was unpaid. But nope, Tina and her team were right on top of it all. I mentioned that we didn't listen to all of her advice. One was that we might want to alter our trip and stay in more hotels for 2-3 nights. I, on the other hand, wanted to see "everything" and now wish that we had slowed down and stayed at less hotels. We ended up at 14 hotels over a 21 day vacation. Had I listened to Tina, we would have dropped that to about 9-10 hotels over 21 days. The bottom line is that Go Irish Tours is a fantastic tour company, and TinaMarie Bennett is one of the best of the best. My wife and I highly and strongly recommend them. You will not be unhappy.
