Disturbed Announces 23-Date Take Back Your Life 2024 North American Tour

Facebook icon

TOUR WILL KICK OFF ON JANUARY 19 TH AND FEATURE SUPPORT FROM FALLING IN REVERSE & PLUSH

Eighth studio album, divisive, out now via reprise records.

“Disturbed are undoubtedly one of the most popular metal bands of the 21st century.”

“‘Divisive’ pulls no punches as a precise, pummeling, and powerful hard rock opus.”

– Blabbermouth

“classic Disturbed, with crunchy riffs, David Draiman’s powerful vocals, and a soaring, melodic chorus.”

– Consequence

Today, multi-platinum rock band Disturbed announces their 23-date Take Back Your Life 2024 North American tour which will kick off in Peoria, IL on January 19th (full dates below). The tour will feature support from Falling In Reverse & Plush and is produced by Live Nation. Tickets will be available starting with an Artist presale beginning Tuesday, October 17 at 10 AM local time. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale starting Friday, October 20 at 10 AM local time at disturbed1.com/tour .

Disturbed’s recent 2023 summer tour was the group’s most successful yet and scored the band a career-high amphitheater attendance. The band’s 36-date tour sold 336,000 tickets, making 2023 the biggest year of the band’s touring career. The tour was also critically acclaimed, with Revolver hailing the “explosive show” which “spanned the band’s entire career.” Backseat Mafia also said “Disturbed’s live show is flooded with many beautiful moments, along with the epic sound only they can bring. Draiman made a big emphasis on support and being there for your loved ones suffering from addiction and mental health issues… that sense of compassion and unity is what sets Disturbed’s live show apart from the rest and brings the people closer.” Read more about the band’s recent tour success via Billboard .

Disturbed’s eighth full-length album Divisive is out now via Reprise Records . Divisive pulls no  punches as a precise, pummeling, and powerful hard rock opus. Over the last year, the quartet cut these ten tracks with producer Drew Fulk [Motionless In White, Lil Peep, Highly Suspect] in Nashville, TN. After Donegan shared initial ideas with the rest of the group, they locked in like never before with the groove as the backbone. Drummer Mike Wengren bolted down some of the strongest and boldest rhythms of their career punctuated by John Moyer ’s punchy bass. Together, the musicians collectively conjured the focus and fire of their seminal early output augmented by airtight songcraft and a heightened level of musical chemistry that could only be forged by years of writing and touring together. The band’s latest album  Divisive  has already produced three #1 singles at Rock Radio with “Hey You”, “Bad Man”, and “Unstoppable”.  Up next is Disturbed’s duet with Ann Wilson “Don’t Tell Me”.   Disturbed has now chalked up 17 number 1 songs at Rock Radio at Billboard and Mediabase. Divisive is available on all formats HERE .

ABOUT DISTURBED:

Emerging out of Chicago at the turn of the century with an insidious, infectious, and inimitable vision without comparison, Disturbed have quietly dominated hard rock on their own terms. They make the kind of music that pushes you to hold on tighter, fight harder, and persevere forever. It’s why they’ve quietly claimed a place at the forefront of 21 st century rock with record-breaking success, sales of over 17 million-plus units, nearly 8 billion streams, and sold out shows around the globe. The two-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated quartet have notched five consecutive #1 debuts on the Billboard Top 200, occupying rarified air alongside Metallica—the only other hard rock group to accomplish this feat. Since their influential 5x-platinum debut The Sickness in 2000, they have built a bulletproof catalog highlighted by a procession of smashes, including the platinum “Stupify , ” “Inside The Fire , ” and “Land of Confusion , ” 2x-platinum “Stricken , ” 6x-platinum “Down With The Sickness , ” and 7x-platinum “The Sound of Silence , ” to name a few. The latter notably received a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Best Rock Performance” as the band earned “Best Rock Artist” at the 2017 iHeartRadioMusic Awards. Still, Disturbed never stop, igniting their next chapter with their 2022 album Divisive featuring their 17 th #1 at Rock Radio “Hey You , ” “Unstoppable , ” and more.

DISTURBED's Rescheduled 'The Sickness 20th Anniversary Tour' Is Now Officially Canceled

DISTURBED 's "The Sickness 20th Anniversary Tour" has been officially canceled. The amphitheater tour, with very special guest STAIND and BAD WOLVES , was originally slated to take place last summer but was rescheduled to 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic which is sweeping the globe.

Earlier today, DISTURBED released the following statement: "Disturbed Ones - It is with great disappointment that we must announce the cancellation of 'The Sickness 20th Anniversary Tour' dates that were rescheduled for this summer.

"We, like all of you, were very much looking forward to rocking out together again, after a year's delay. We've waited to see if we could play the shows and by now, we had hoped there would be more clarity and a clearer direction as how to make this possible.

"Unfortunately, as the tour takes us to different cities and states with a variety of unclear restrictions, it becomes unfeasible to move forward. We felt waiting any longer and canceling last minute, especially after you all have waited this long, would be unfair.

"For those who purchased tickets, there is nothing further you need to do – refunds will automatically be issued at your point of purchase.

"We want to thank all our fans for your wonderful support, and we look forward to the time when we can all be together.

"The Sickness 20th Anniversary Tour" was supposed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of DISTURBED 's seminal album "The Sickness" . On this tour, the band was expected to perform songs off the album, as well as tracks from its most recent studio release, "Evolution" , and its extensive catalog.

In March 2020, DISTURBED frontman David Draiman confirmed that the band wouldn't perform its "The Sickness" in its entirety on "The Sickness 20th Anniversary Tour" . "No, we won't do the entire album, but we're going to do a ton of 'Sickness' material, deeper cuts, stuff people haven't heard us play off the record for a while, and definitely a huge portion of material will be 'Sickness' -oriented," the singer told Billboard.com .

"You can't, unfortunately — or fortunately, depending on how you look at it — as a band at our level, at this point of our career, you can't just go out and play one record because everybody came on board at different stations," the explained. "They want to hear what they fell in love with. There's definitely new production elements that we're toying with, that are elements that we've maybe used during 'The Sickness' era, but that we're doing in a new and more provocative way. That's about all I can say."

In 2010, DISTURBED celebrated the tenth anniversary of the release of "The Sickness" by reissuing it with exclusive b-sides and expanded artwork, as well as a first-time-ever vinyl edition.

Released on March 7, 2000, "The Sickness" is DISTURBED 's best-selling album to date, thanks to such hit singles as "Stupify" , "Voices" and "Down With The Sickness" .

Disturbed Cancel “The Sickness” 20th Anniversary Tour With Staind & Bad Wolves

Disturbed ‘s plans to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 5x multi-platinum debut album “ The Sickness ” last year were delayed amid the COVID-19 pandemic. That run, which was to find them out with Staind and Bad Wolves , was eventually rescheduled for July/August of this year and has now newly officially been cancelled. In a statement issued earlier today, March 12th, Disturbed stated:

“Disturbed Ones – It is with great disappointment that we must announce the cancellation of The Sickness 20th Anniversary Tour dates that were rescheduled for this summer. We, like all of you, were very much looking forward to rocking out together again, after a year’s delay. Update – Disturbed Cancel ‘The Sickness’ 20th Anniversary 2021 Tour

UPDATE: In a new statement, Disturbed have officially announced that their  'The Sickness' 20th anniversary tour, which had been rescheduled for summer of 2021, has now been canceled due to logistics issues surrounding different restrictions on live events from state to state. Read the full statement at the bottom of the page. Fans who had previously purchased tickets will automatically receive a refund.

Disturbed 's "The Sickness 20th Anniversary Tour" with Staind and Bad Wolves is back on and set for summer of 2021.

The run, which aims to celebrate the two-decade milestone of the band's debut album, was postponed this year due to the coronavirus pandemic which put the touring industry in an ongoing standstill.

The Sickness was released on March 7, 2000 and launched Disturbed's career on the back of the mega hits "Down With the Sickness" and "Stupify." Both tracks have been set list staples over the last 20 years and on the tour, the group intend to dust off some rarities from that landmark release.

All shows from the originally scheduled tour have been rescheduled, with the exception of the Chula Vista, Calif. date. Ticket holders for that event will receive an automatic refund. All tickets purchased for the original dates will be honored for the respective makeup show. Any fan seeking a refund will automatically receive an email with instructions on how to go about the process of getting their money back.

See the full list of tour dates below and for tickets, head here . Check this location for a list of original tour dates.

Although Disturbed have been unable to tour this year, their down time has not gone to waste. Singer David Draiman recently revealed that the band has begun work on their follow-up to 2018's  Evolution. The new record will be Disturbed's eighth studio release.
