Nainital is referred to as the lake of three sages, or the Tri Rishi Sarovar as mentioned in the Manas Khand chapter of the Skanda Purana. As recorded in history, the three sages, Atri, Pulastya, and Pulaha stopped over at Nainital on their pilgrimage, to quench their thirst. Finding no water, they dug a hole and transferred some water into it to form the sacred lake of Tibet, Mansarovar. Thus the famous lake of Nainital came into existence. Another legend has it that the left eye or Nain of Lord Shiva’s wife Sati fell in this center and formed an emerald eye shaped lake, and thus emerged the city of Nainital. Recent history records reveal that Nainital was brought into the limelight by P. Barron, a British sugar merchant, in 1839. The beauty of Nainital with the central lake cushioned among the forests attracted this person to build a house named Pilgrim’s Cottage and settle in Nainital the most beautiful hill station of Kumaon.

Overall Tour went well except first two days... Feedback: 1) pls ensure driver who has past driving experience in such difficult mountain ranges without map...(bcoz you never know when ur mobile/map signal get lost)...also driver should have know-how of remedy towards basic breakdown condition... 2) pls avoid CNG as a fuel option in alloted vehicle esp. in hills... 3) In 4star resorts (Nainital, Corbett), driver's accommodation was not available but same was available at 3 star (kausani, ranikhet)...then ur driver naturaibe annoyed for not having a proper rest at night... Himalaya mountains view - Nanda devi, Trishul, etc. Tiger Safari at Jim Corbett, Ancient temples.

Trip was not planned properly. Hotel for Ranikhet was 30 km away from Ranikhet, i.e in between Rampur to Ranikhet, causing 5 hrs wastage of time. Dhanaulti was not added in the trip, which is supposed to be. Please plan the trip by knowing the area and spot very well. Hotel in Jim Corbett was good, even Maya regency in Bhimtal was also good.

Hotels are not up to the mark. Every hotel I stayed have lot of repair works going on & disturbing !! The hotel at Corbett (Wanderlust Corbett resorts) has bad staff behaviour. There is no prior information provided by change of hotel at hotel at Ranikhet & ended up staying in a homestay which is pathetic. Operator Mithila tours would have planned it much better and provided me with the information upfront. I am able to finish it safely by Godess Durga’s blessings. I think never look into Travel Triangle site for my future tours!!

It was OK.. But was expecting better service wrt cost. The agent was not fully aware of the travelling time etc. Also, driver was extremely non professional.. He can drive the car well.. But very demotivating. Also, hotel arranged at Kaushani was pathetic as there used to be power cut for 3-4 hours and no body took phone call at night.. Cignett resort was really good.. But one good thing is that Divya, the travel agent was responsive and tried to solve problems

After Your Arrival in Delhi, Our Representative will greet you and guide your transport to Nainital. It is one of the famous hill stations in Uttarakhand. The place is known for the beautiful Naini Lake and Enchanting sceneries. After you reach Nainital, Finish your check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
