Carly Rae Jepsen Gimmie Love Tour: Cities, Dates and How to Get Tickets

"I Really Like You" artist Carly Rae Jepsen is continuing her nationwide Gimmie Love tour in 2016 to promote her latest album Emotion . She hit New York City, Philadelphia and a couple of other major cities in November and is heading back on the road, starting Feb. 12 in North Carolina and wrapping up in March in New York again.

" Emotion is full of whizzing, industrial-strength pop songs that raid the musical closets of Cyndi Lauper and Prince and establish the 29-year-old Canadian songwriter as much more than a one-hit wonder," Time 's Nolan Feeney wrote in his review of Jepsen's third studio album, which she'll be performing on the Gimmie Love tour. Tickets go on sale Friday on Ticketmaster and Jepsen's site .

Jepsen's Emotion , released in August, proved that the "Call Me Maybe" singer is more than a one-hit wonder . "We had the biggest single in the world last time [with "Call Me Maybe"] and didn't have the biggest album," Jepsen's manager Scooter Braun told the New York Times earlier this year. "This time we wanted to stop worrying about singles and focus on having a critically acclaimed album."

Jepsen's team worked with more than 200 potential tracks for the album and 12 made the cut. " Emotion is as solid and spotless a pop album as you're likely to hear this year, the result of several years working alongside a storied list of contributors," Pitchfork 's Corban Goble wrote in a glowing review.

February 12, 2016

It will be a memorable spring for pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen, who launches an extensive North American leg on her “Gimmie Love” Tour tonight at The Ritz in Raleigh, North Carolina. 57 dates are scheduled through May, and fans planning to attend an upcoming show will be paying big prices to see the Canadian-born singer live if perusing the secondary market.

According to TicketIQ, the average resale price for Carly Rae Jepsen tickets on her Gimmie Love Tour is now $94.19. That marks a 7.7% boost over her $87.49 average along the “Summer Kiss” Tour in 2013, which served as her first-ever headlining run. Eight shows will exceed the $100 average on her upcoming tour through the spring months, including top-priced gigs in Canada at Scotiabank Saddledome, Air Canada Centre and Canadian Tire Centre.

Jepsen will embark on an exclusive Canadian stretch between April 7 and May 20 and will call upon Hedley and Francisco Yates for opening support at all dates. Her stop at Scotiabank Saddledome on May 13 is currently averaging $126.89, 34.7% above tour average, and the cheapest ticket available is $47. Her show at Air Canada Centre on April 29 owns a secondary market average of $124.95 and $51 get-in while the Canadian Tire Centre gig on April 23 is averaging a $120.93 ticket and $75 get-in price.

Conversely, her February 14 show at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta is garnering the cheapest ticket prices at an average of $38, 60% below tour average, and a get-in price of $32. Other cheapest-priced shows include February 17 at The Ritz Ybor in Tampa ($39 avg./$35 get-in), March 20 at Baltimore Soundstage ($40 avg./$37 get-in) and tonight’s show at The Ritz in Raleigh ($42 avg./$30 get-in).

Jepsen hits the road in support of Emotion , her third studio album that was released last June. The album has spawned three singles, including “I Really Like You” and “Run Away with Me”.
