Questions & Answers

Can't find your answer contact us.

Guests need to be at least at least 1,50 m (4' 11") tall to join the bike tour.

We've designed the bike tour so that it is as safe and effortless as possible. There are only about 300 meters (0.1864113576712 miles) of uphill roads, in which case we either get off the bike and walk or take an elevator (yes, there is an elevator at some point that we can take with our bikes). The rest is either flat or downhill.

Bookings are required. You can check availabilty, book and pay online with your credit card. Book  here .

We don't have child seats unfortunately.

We do not provide helmets, they are not mandatory in Belgium. You're welcome to bring your own if you wish.

Yes we do. We have different sizes for your comfort.

You can either walk 20 minutes or take trams 3, 4, or 32 and get off at “Bourse” stop, from there walk 5 minutes to the Grand-Place. A taxi would take less than 10 minutes and cost you about 8 Euros.

We've had guests of all ages, shapes and sizes joining our tour throughout these years and they've ll been able to finish it without issues. There is no need to worry, this is not the Tour de France ;-)

Tour lasts 3.5 hours. From 10 am to 1:30 pm. Ride is 13 km long or 8,0778255 miles.

Yes it is, if it wasn’t, we wouldn’t be doing it ourselves. We make sure you have a fun and safe ride.

You can safely store your bags in the public lockers located inside Brussels Central train station for a fee. Visit Belgian Rail website for more information.

We offer tours rain or shine (or hail or snow). Believe it or not, we had a tour once in which it rained, hailed and snowed and it didn't stop us! Some of our guests actually loved it, they were from Malaysia and they had never seen neither snow nor hail in their lives. Oh, and downpours are very rare in Brussels in case you wonder.

We only offer tours in English.

We recommend you bring a a bottle of water, rainwear depending on the weather forecast and gloves in cold weather.

Culture and Prominence

Brussels bike tours.

Brussels, Belgium’s breathtaking capital, sits at the center of European politics as the de facto capital of the European Union. Discover political institutions, renowned chocolatiers, and a surfeit of street art on a bike tour of this capital city that is bound to delight.

Looking past the politics, Brussels’ sublime architecture shines through, revealed in the sensational facades of the Grand Place, the Gothic Notre-Dame du Sablon Church, and the Palais de Justice. The culture here is creative and vibrant - cycle through the Matongé neighborhood, with its blend of Belgian bohemia and African heritage, or immerse yourself in the artistic atmosphere of Sablon and Marolles.

Brussels is also a city of spray cans! Find some of the finest examples of street art anywhere in the world right here in Belgium’s capital, birthplace of Hergé’s famous cartoon creation, Tintin. Your bike tour will be a sensory experience - Brussels is alive with music carried on the breeze, along with the aroma of the famous Belgian waffle! Stop in at a number of authentic chocolate shops and take home the taste of Belgium.

It’s a capital with quirks around every corner, so your bike tour will be full of surprises - not every city can boast a 5000m2 EGG at its heart! An unmissable, family-friendly biking adventure through Belgium’s capital awaits!

Brussels' bike hotspots

No-one does urban cycling better then Pro Velo . The organisation plays a key role in the promotion of cycling and is keen to get everyone in the saddle. Besides organising numerous projects, training courses, cycle tours and events, they also run a shop on rue de Dublin in Ixelles. It's the ideal place for repairs, bike rental, buying all kinds of bike accessories, a visit of their bike library or even a moment of relaxation with coffee and biscuits in their cosy corner.

CyCLO Bike Points

Are you looking for a workshop that can help you with any bike repairs or servicing you may require? If so, don’t hesitate to call on one of the seven bike workshops dotted around Brussels. Spread across multiple strategic locations, with four out of seven situated inside railway stations, these repair shops offer quick service, sometimes even allowing you the opportunity to take part in the repair process under their professional guidance!

With a fun atmosphere and competitive prices, these workshops are run by  CyCLO , a non-profit organisation aiming to promote the use of bicycles throughout Brussels.

Hors Catégorie

Hors Catégorie  is a Brussels-based non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting cycling in all its forms. They call themselves a base camp for the cycling community and have two addresses. You can visit them at the Volta building in Ixelles from Tuesday to Saturday (some Sundays too) for workshops, bike repairs, exhibitions and a drink. Their shop at DROHME in Uccle is open on weekends, and is an excellent meeting place for cycling enthusiasts.

After a few hours of cycling, you'll definitely fancy some rest and relaxation. The latest trend in Brussels is the bike café, a combination of bike repair, bike shop, snacks, drinks and entertainment. Two great examples in the capital are Tandem  and  Cyclovia .

Bike-Packer

Bike-Packer  is a Brussels cycling travel agency, based in the Grand Hospice in the capital's city centre. The enthusiastic staff help cycling tourists prepare for their bike tour of Belgium. After all, big trips require a lot of knowledge and material (you need to make a road book with GPX data, transport all kinds of equipment as compactly as possible, repair a puncture yourself...). Moreover, you can hire a first-class bike and equipment from them.

Where to sleep?

Throughout the year, you can stay in one of Brussels' hotels where cyclists are welcome. They offer their residents services to make it easier for them to explore the surrounding area. They offer the possibility of renting bicycles directly on the spot, but also all the equipment necessary for their maintenance if you travel with your own two wheels!
