ANAグループの総合トレーニングセンターである ANA Blue Base。空港や機内の環境を再現したこちらの施設でANA社員は学び、現場へと巣立っていきます。施設名称「ANA Blue Base」には、ANAグループ全社員の原点、そして社員を支える基盤になるという思いが込められています。 ロビー内のラウンジではANAの歴史や、仕事を楽しく学べるコンテンツをご用意しています。

出発ゲートを通り、3階の見学専用エリアへナビゲーター（ANA現役社員）がご案内します。

世界最新鋭、日本最大級の訓練設備を誇るANA Blue Base。主に下記6つの職種の訓練施設や訓練をする様子をご覧いただけます。 - グランドスタッフ - 客室乗務員 - グランドハンドリングスタッフ - 貨物スタッフ - 整備士 - 運航乗務員 ＊日時によっては訓練を実施していない場合もございます。 ＊このエリアでは写真撮影はできません。

ANA、訓練施設「ANA Blue Base」見学ツアー受付開始。一足早く体験してきた！

　ANAは、羽田空港そばの総合訓練施設「ANA Blue Base」（ 東京都大田区羽田旭町10-8 ）において、有償の見学ツアーを12月10日に開始する。本稿では、それに先駆けて行なわれた報道公開の様子をお伝えしていく。

　ABB（ANA Blue Base）は、羽田空港周辺や関東近郊などに点在していた訓練・教育・研修施設を1か所に統合したもので、施設自体は2019年3月に竣工、同4月15日から正式運用を行なっている。当初、一般見学開放は2020年6月を予定していたが、新型コロナウイルスの影響で延期しており、1年半を経て待望の公開にこぎ着けた（関連記事「 ANA、総合訓練施設『ANA Blue Base』公開。一般見学開放は2020年6月を予定 」）。

1回90分、最大10名の見学ツアー

　ツアーは1日3回（各90分）で、専任のナビゲーターが同行して順路を解説しつつ案内する。現在は感染症対策もあって、1回のツアーは最大10名までに制限しているため、説明を聞き返したり、質問してみたりといったこともしやすい雰囲気になっているようだ。

　ツアーのコースは、空港のカウンターや出発ロビー、搭乗ゲートなどを模したエントランスに始まり、施設の概要を説明するシアター、感染予防対策について説明するエリアなどを経て、メインの訓練エリアに続いていく。ABBは同社のパイロット、CA（客室乗務員）、グランドスタッフ、整備士、グランドハンドリングスタッフ、貨物スタッフらが実際に訓練を行なう場であるため、ツアー参加者はその様子を見学専用エリア（施設3階の通路）から見下ろす形になる。

　最後にフォトスポットでの撮影タイムが設けられており、実機のコクピットやチェックインカウンターなどで思う存分記念撮影が行なえる。このあと、ツアーは360度シアターでのエンディング映像を上映して終了する。

　以下、その流れを写真とともに紹介する。

エントランスからオリエンテーションまで

　見学ツアー向けの入口から入るとすぐにカウンターがあり、ここで受付を行なってチケット、ロッカーの鍵などを受け取る。施設内は基本的に荷物は持ち込めないので、ロッカーに預けて行動する。ツアーの最後にフォトスポットがあるので、スマートフォンやカメラは携行しても問題ない。

　ツアーが始まると出発ゲート前さながらの搭乗アナウンスがあり、チケットのQRコードを読み込ませてゲートを進む。機内に乗り込むときのようなテンションの上がる演出だ。

　エレベーターで3階まであがると、「Tour Base」と呼ばれるシアターで概要や注意点などのオリエンテーションがあり、続いてANAの感染症対策の取り組みを紹介するブース「ANA Care Promise Station」を見学する。

　訓練エリアは大きく6つに分かれており、チェックインカウンターやセルフチェックイン端末、自動手荷物預け機など、空港と同じ設備を備えるグランドスタッフ向け設備「SPECIA」。主にパイロットやCAが緊急着水訓練を行なうプール。飛行機の揺れを再現できるモーションモックアップを含む、4機の保安訓練用設備「Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer（CEET）」。

　さらに、貨物スタッフ・グランドハンドリングスタッフ向けの訓練設備（2022年4月以降稼働）、整備士が主脚やエンジン、シート、翼などの実物を使って整備作業を学ぶ「Maintenance Training Mock-up」、パイロットが実機同様のコクピットで訓練を行なうためのフルフライトシミュレータ、と順に見学していく。

　訓練エリアの最後には、コクピットと管制塔のやりとりなどを映像と音で体験できるシミュレーション映像を上映するブースも設けられていた。

　ツアーの最後に訪れる「Experience ANA」では、エアバス A320型機から下ろした実機のコクピット、空港とまったく同じチェックインカウンター、実際に座れるビジネスクラスシート、触れる飛行機のタイヤ、PBB（旅客搭乗橋）の操作盤など、実際に触れることのできるフォトスポットが用意されている。ここでツアーの思い出を写真に残そう。

安心して乗ってもらうには「どんな訓練をしているか見てもらうのが一番」

　前述のとおり、ABBは2019年4月から訓練施設として稼働しているが、見学ツアーは2017年に発案、2018年に企画・作り込みを始めている。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大を受けて2020年6月のオープンは見送っていたが、感染状況が落ち着いたことから、感染予防対策を徹底しつつ、12月10日のツアー開始を決定したという。今のところツアーを1日3回、1回最大10名としたのも、密を避けるための設計だ。

　こうした見学ツアーを企画した背景について、ANAホールディングス 広報・コーポレートブランド推進部の日高かおり氏は、普段利用している飛行機をより安心して乗ってもらうためには、「私たちがどんな訓練を日々行なっていて、どれほど真剣に取り組んでいるかを見ていただくのが一番」と説明する。一方で、訓練に取り組む社員たちがツアー参加者に「見られている意識」を持つことで、より緊張感を高める狙いもあるという。

Behind the Scenes, Discover How ANA Operates as the Largest Airline in Japan

Take a journey through ANA’s Blue Base and Haneda Hangar to learn about ANA’s history, experience pilot trainings, get up close and personal to an airplane and see how engineers maintain our aircraft.

Connecting people is ANA’s mission. Over the past several years, our desire to provide places for interaction and shared experiences has grown, resulting in the renovating and reopening two ANA facilities to the general public. Today, we introduce the ANA Blue Base Tour and the ANA Blue Hangar Tour that are widely popular among those who are curious about how ANA employees hone their skills and how Japan’s largest airline operates flights while ensuring the safety of its passengers.

ANA Blue Base Tour

ANA Blue Base (ABB) opened its doors in April 2019 as Japan's largest airline training facility. Its mission is to enhance ANA’s operation safety and quality, promote innovation and work style diversity and nurture the next generation of ANA employees.

The ABB Tour's biggest difference from the previous training facility is that it is designed to host visitor tours. The first ABB Tour commenced in December 2021 after being delayed 18 months due to the pandemic.

Conducted by ANA employees who have received training at the ABB, the 90-minute tour begins in the first-floor lobby, which resembles an airport boarding gate.

This is the first tour of its kind in Japan where you can observe the actual training for major airline positions (airport ground staff, cabin crew, cargo staff, airport ground handling staff, mechanics, and flight crew).

Visitors can observe actual trainings taking place behind a glass wall, while a tour navigator explains the training in detail and answers questions from a trainee’s perspective.

With the opening of the ABB, ANA decided to integrate all aircraft operation-related training at one facility so trainees can learn inter-departmental teamwork in an environment similar to an airport. The facility is equipped with the latest technology, such as MR (Mixed Reality)/VR (Virtual Reality) training devices, and a cabin mock-up that enables cabin crews to experience simulated turbulence. Additionally, it houses a traditional tea-ceremony room to learn ANA’s signature Japanese hospitality.

The Tour allows visitors to experience ANA Business Staggered seats and be photographed inside a mock-up flight deck. It also includes exhibits to learn more about what ANA Group employees do as well as the company’s history.

Since its debut in 2021, the tour has been most popular among families and children, but also those who are interested in working for an airline.

“Knowing how ANA employees get trained and work together to ensure operational safety, I feel confident about boarding my next ANA flight,” one visitor commented.

Others mentioned how tour navigators enhanced the experience and promised to return to the ABB as a trainee in the future.

Taking visitor feedback into consideration to keep the tour valuable and relevant, ANA now offers tours made specifically for cabin crew and pilot trainings. In addition to the tour of the training facility, the 2-hour sessions offer an interactive Q&A so visitors can have a more intimate experience.

Currently, the ABB Tour is being offered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in Japanese only (1,000 yen for adults, 800 yen for junior/high school students, 500 yen for elementary school students).

ANA Haneda Hangar

Located at Haneda Airport, the ANA Maintenance Center renewed its visitor tour and named it the ANA Blue Hangar tour in April 2022 to invite the public, from children to adults, to become more familiar with airplanes and aviation safety. The goal is to provide visitors an experience through seeing, hearing, smelling and feeling the real, working aircraft up close and witnessing what ANA’s maintenance engineers do.

ANA runs a maintenance inspection of all its aircraft pre- and post-flights, and every five to six years for heavy maintenance. At the Maintenance Center, approximately 1,000 maintenance engineers are on duty around the clock.

The renewed tour has an interactive section, which allowed visitors to see an actual-sized vertical stabilizer, hold airplane parts and some of the 40,000 maintenance tools used on our aircraft and participate in a mock-experience of the maintenance work done by ANA engineers.

The exhibition hall also houses panels to teach visitors about ANA history, real flight recorders, Business class seats and used aircraft tires to show how engineers inspect wear and tear.

Being able to see big airplanes up close is an immersive experience. Some say witnessing engineers’ slow, careful removal of an aircraft engine gives them a renewed appreciation of what it takes to operate an aircraft safely.

The ABH tour is offered in Japanese only for free to visitors elementary school students and older on weekdays, excluding national holidays and the New Year holiday. At the front kiosk, visitors can purchase original ANA key chains made with recycled waste materials from old aircraft cabin windows – a wonderful memory of the ABH tour!

ANA Airframe Maintenance Building on Haneda Airport is the facility to check and maintain the ANA group’s airplanes for safe flight. Here, you can get close to airplanes and watch how they are maintained on “ANA Blue Hangar Tour.”

After listening to instructions about the maintenance, move on to the hangar. First, view the whole hangar from the 3rd floor and take in its enormity. Then go down to the 1st floor and watch closely the mechanics working on airplanes which will go on a flight. The whole tour is about 90 minutes. After the tour, you are free to look around the display hall with panels and videos explaining ANA’s maintenance shop and first class aircraft maintenance technician. It is allowed to take photos there, but NOTE the videos and voices are not allowed to record.

After the tour, you can go to the goods shop. Not only the ANA original goods as a memento of your tour, but some of them are also discounted. There are many items available only here, special for ANA fans.

HOURS OF OPERATION

The National Naval Aviation Museum is open Monday-Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The museum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s days.

Base Access Guidelines

General information.

Who can visit?

The Department of Defense (DoD) and the Navy require visitors 18 and older to show a single government-issued identification card. State-issued driving licenses and passports are acceptable. Public access to NAS Pensacola will be available from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m. through the West Gate only on the south end of Blue Angel Parkway. Additionally, vehicle operators must have a valid driver’s license, and foreign nationals will need to be escorted by a U.S. citizen.

Can I watch the Blue Angels practice?

For those who have access to Naval Air Station Pensacola, the National Naval Aviation Museum is pleased to open the flight line behind the museum to view Blue Angels practice flight demonstrations. Gates open at 9:30 a.m. and the Blues are scheduled to take to the skies at 10:30 a.m. Visit www.NavalAviationMuseum.org/blueangels for practice dates. 

Are there ways to get to the museum without using a personal vehicle?

Ride share services such as Lyft and Uber are not allowed on board NAS Pensacola. Standard taxi services are allowed to enter the base via the West Gate provided the taxi driver has a valid base pass.

Can I bring a bag into the museum?

Backpacks and similar items are not allowed in the museum (exceptions are small diaper bags, purses, camera bags, fanny packs and medicine bags); all bags are subject to search by the NAS Pensacola Base Security and/or visible inspection by Museum staff or qualified volunteers.

Parking at the National Naval Aviation Museum is free. The main parking lot is located on the west side of the Museum, with separate parking for buses and motor homes. To ensure the safety of your passengers, buses should load and unload from sidewalk areas. Parking spaces for those with disabilities are available near the Museum’s main entrance.

Pets are not allowed inside the Museum unless they are registered service animals. Pets must not be left unattended in personal vehicles in parking lots during your visit.

Accessibility

The National Naval Aviation Museum welcomes and accommodates persons with disabilities:

A large parking area for persons with limited mobility is available close to the entrance.

Wheelchairs may be checked out at no charge from our Information Desk for use in the main Museum and Hangar Bay One.

Restrooms are available on the ground level in the Quarterdeck and West Wing for visitors with limited mobility.

The Museum has ramps available at each minor change in level.

The Naval Aviation Memorial Giant Screen Theater has a seating area for those in wheelchairs and/or those with service companions, and an elevator is available to reach this seating. Devices for the visually impaired and personalized closed captioning for the hearing impaired are also available.

Open captioning of exhibition videos incorporated into some exhibitions.

Guided tours are available daily and free of charge. Learn about Naval Aviation firsthand from retired military volunteers who have lived the history! Tour groups meet at the Information Desk at the following times:

CUBI Bar Café

The Cubi Bar Café offers a lunch menu and a decor that chronicles the many deployments to the Western Pacific by Navy and Marine Corps units. Literally hundreds of plaques, once covering the walls of the Officers Club at NAS Cubi Point in the Philippines, now adorn the restaurant's walls.

ANA Group Energy Conservation Awards ANA Blue Base (ABB)

What is ana blue base (abb).

General training facility "ANA Blue Base (ABB)." It is used not only for training pilots, mechanics, cabin attendants, ground staff, ground handling staff, etc., but also for cooperation with people outside the company and for students to observe the training, which leads to long-term human resource development. In addition to serving as a base for improving safety and flight quality, promoting innovation, reforming work styles, and promoting the ANA brand, it is an energy-saving facility equipped with the latest energy-saving equipment.

What is the point of the award?

In spite of being an energy-saving facility, efforts involving all ABB residents through further reductions in energy consumption and visualization of energy consumption under the theme of "promoting energy policies and fostering an energy-saving culture within ABB" were highly evaluated. In addition, the active dissemination of in-house information using a variety of content contributed to raising awareness of energy conservation throughout the ANA Group, which was an excellent initiative.

We are delighted to have received this award to ANA Blue Base members. Since the ABB facility is highly energy-efficient and equipped with the latest equipment, it is important that each and every one of us take action with awareness in order to further reduce energy consumption. Therefore, ABB's energy policy has been positioned as a part of the promotion of SDGs. In fiscal 2020, we began by learning the characteristics of the facilities where we work, and at the same time, we have tried to foster energy conservation awareness throughout ABB by visualizing the effects of energy consumption and reduction measures. We hope to create a movement in which people with a wide variety of expertise and experience gathered here can share their wisdom and spread SDGs promotion activities throughout the Group.

In addition to ABB, each and every employee of ANA Group companies such as ANA Catering Service (ANAC) and OCS is highly aware of the importance of energy conservation, starting with what they can do themselves and expanding to what their departments can do. The accumulation and dissemination of these activities contributes to fostering a culture of energy conservation throughout the ANA Group.

ANA Blue Baseツアーをレポ！訓練施設見学やコックピットで写真も撮れちゃう

飛行機大好き、東京散歩ぽです！

ANA Blue Baseへ

京急「穴守稲荷駅」から徒歩7分。

こちらがANAの総合訓練施設「ANA Blue Base（ABB）」です。事前予約制で見学することが出来ますよ！

さっそく、入ってみましょう。

入口に入ってまずはエントランスエリアへ。

見学者はこちらのチェックインカウンターで受付して、こちらで名前が印字されたQRコード付きの搭乗券（入館カード）と手荷物用のロッカーキーが渡されます。

まるで搭乗手続きみたいですね。

ロッカーには番号と世界各地の空港の略式名（3レターコード）が記載されています。

さてさて、見学まで少し時間があるので、エントランスエリアを見て回りましょう。

こちらにはボーイング787のモデルプレーンが設置されていて、

羽田発ミュンヘン行きの出発準備から離陸までの様子を見ることが出来ます。

こちらにはARフォトスタンドがあり、

パイロットや客室乗務員、グランドスタッフなどの衣装にチェンジして、写真を撮ることが出来ますよ！

こちらはグッズを展示する「ANA Blue Base SHOP」。ただし、こちらでは購入は出来ず、QRコードを読み込んでANAのECサイト「A-style」から購入できます。

そうしていると、見学ツアーのはじまりを知らせる館内アナウンスが！

なお、ANA Blue Baseの見学ツアーは、ANAグループの現役社員が見学専用エリアを案内してくださいます。

こちらのゲートから、本物の旅客機の搭乗のように入館証を読み込ませて見学ツアーに出発です！

ANA Blue Base ツアーは、エレベーターにのって3階フロアにあり、見学者通路をめぐりながら1階にあるグランドスタッフ、客室乗務員、貨物スタッフ、グランドハンドリングスタッフ、整備士、運航乗務員の皆さんが訓練している訓練エリアを様子を上から俯瞰で眺めることができます。

なお、こちらのエリアは通常撮影禁止なので、スマホは3階フロアにあるスマホ用のロッカーに預けてから向かいます。

こちらは客室乗務員の皆さんの訓練エリア。

この日はちょうど、ボーイング777型機のエスケープスライドを使用した緊急着水の訓練が行われているところでした。

日にちや時間帯によっては必ずしも見られる訳ではないそうなので、これはなかなか貴重な場面ですね。

見学者通路には、各エリアスタッフのお仕事内容がわかる展示もありました。

こちらは揺れる機内を再現したモーションモックアップが設置された訓練施設。

実物大の脱出用スライドの訓練設備。これもなかなか見られませんね。

旅客機のメインエンジンの整備訓練も行われています。

こちらのフライトシュミレーターでは、運航乗務員の皆さんが訓練を行ってました。

フライトシュミレーターには入れませんが、こちらのブースでは悪天候時の羽田空港へのアプローチの様子を体験できます。

訓練エリアの見学が終わり、こちらは「Experience ANA」のコーナーへきました。

こちらのエリアは撮影OKなので、ロッカーに預けていたスマホを受け取って、どんどん写真を撮りましょう！

中でも注目はこちらのコックピット。

エアバスA320型機で使用していた本物のコックピットです！

右側の副機長席はマネキンが座ってますが、左側の機長席は実際に座って写真を撮ることが出来ます。

ということで、機長席に座ってみました！

フライトシュミレーションは出来ませんが、目の前にはデジタル表示の計器が広がってます。これはものすごく貴重な体験ですね！

「ANA Blue Base」ツアーでは見学を通して、スタッフの皆さんが真剣に訓練を受けている様子を間近で見ることが出来ます。空の安全はこうして守られているのだなと改めて感じました。

ANAお仕事体験ツアーがスタート

そんな「ANA blue base」では、2022年の夏から「 お仕事体験ツアー 」が新たにスタート。

特定日にパイロット体験ツアー、CA体験などが開催。2022年9月10月には「ANAグランドスタッフ体験ツアー」も行われるそうです。

Where to watch College World Series: TV channel, schedule, games today, bracket, times as eliminations near

Six teams remain in the title hunt in omaha.

The 2024 College World Series is here, and six teams remain in the battle for the NCAA baseball championship. In the first game of the day, North Carolina will take on Florida State Tuesday in the schools' first meeting of the year. The loser will be eliminated, while the winner will move on to face top-seeded Tennessee. The Vols have won both of their CWS games so far. Florida, meanwhile, staved off elimination Monday by beating NC State and will now attempt to do the same Tuesday against Kentucky, who lost Monday to Texas A&M. The loser will be eliminated. Virginia was eliminated from the eight-team College World Series bracket on Sunday, and a new champion will be crowned by next Monday (June 24).

The College World Series format features two double-elimination brackets with four teams in each pool. The winners of the two brackets meet in the Finals, a best-of-three series which begins June 22. Tennessee, Florida State, North Carolina and Virginia are in one bracket. NC State, Kentucky, Florida and Texas A&M are in the other.
