Port Placencia cruise ship schedule shows timetable calendars of all arrival and departure dates by month. The port's schedule lists all ships (in links) with cruises going to or leaving from Placencia, Belize. Placencia is a large village (permanent population around 3,500) located in Belize's Stann-Creek District. As a Caribbean cruise port, Placencia is usually visited by smaller-sized ships stopping here for accessing Payne's Creek National Park, Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary and Monkey River (boat tours or Zodiac landings). Placencia has two marinas (docks/berthing facilities for pleasure boats and yachts) - Placencia Marina (20 slots) and Roberts Grove Marina (7 slots).

As cruise port, Placencia was included in the 2021 schedule of the company UnCruise Adventures .

Via boats from Placencia are also offered scuba diving/snorkeling tours to the Great Blue Hole and Half Moon Caye , both part of the Lighthouse Reef Atoll. Boat travel time is around 1 hour.

Placencia's area was inhabited by the Mayans (salt production and trade) prior to the 17th century when here settled English Puritans arriving from Nova Scotia and Providence Island Colony (1630-established, part of Colombia's San Andres-Providencia-Santa Catalina Archipelago). During the 25-years of Spanish-American wars (1808-1833) the settlement (originally named "Punta Placentia"/Pleasant Point by the Spaniards) was destroyed, to be resettled again in the late-19th-century.

Placencia initially prospered from fishing and trade and in the late-20th-century developed as a tourism destination. In October 2001, Placencia Village was severely damaged (95% of its buildings) by Hurricane Iris. However, the disaster was used by real estate developers and today property values are at their highest.

The local scenery is marked by a long narrow bay with rich mangrove forests along the coastline. The 30-km / 18-mi long peninsula houses four villages (south to north) - Placencia, Garifuna, Maya Beach, and Riversdale. Placencia Airport serves only domestic flights (regularly scheduled, by two airlines - Maya Island Air, and Tropic Air) linking to Belize City , Dangriga , and Punta Gorda (Toledo District). Private planes are also allowed to land.

Tourist attractions include leisure venues (hotels, bars, restaurants, art galleries), sea sports activities (kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, boat fishing tours), annual festivals (Lobster Fest, Peninsula Arts Festival, Easter Week/Spring Break), wildlife viewing (seabirds, whale sharks between April-July, Placencia Lagoon/manatees, dolphins, Batoids/rays), excursions to the Mayan ruins Nim Li Punit and Lubantuum), day tours to Cockscomb nature reserve (land area 400 km2 / 150 mi2, world's first jaguar sanctuary, jungle hiking, pine forests, waterfalls), day tours to Payne's Creek NP (land area 152 km2 / 60 mi2, broadleaf- and mangrove forests, Mayan saltworks), Maya Centre Village (12x trails, 400 km2 forest, ~300 bird species), Mayflower Archaeological Reserve (housing the Mayan ruins Mayflower, T'au Witz, Maintzunun), Bladen River Reserve (caves, sinkholes, old rainforest, pristine streams and rivers).

Maya Beach Village (midway between Placencia and Riversdale) is popular for its 2,5-km/ 1,5-mi-long white sand beach lined up with homes, guest houses, small hotels and resorts, cabanas, shops, bars, restaurants.

Disney Cruise Line Announces Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 Itineraries

Disney Cruise Line has announced a new block of itineraries, covering September 2025 to May 2026. This announcement covers sailings on the Magic, Wonder, Dream, Fantasy, Wish, and Treasure. We expect information about sailings on the upcoming Destiny and Adventure ships to come at a future date.

Booking for these sailings begins on Monday, June 24, for Pearl level Castaway Club members with progressive openings until booking becomes available to the general public on Friday, June 28.

For the ships in this itinerary release, there are few surprises. DCL continues to use Port Canaveral and Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale) in Florida as year-round home ports.

The Magic will make sailings from Port Canaveral, Galveston, and San Juan Puerto Rico, with several Bahamian and Caribbean itineraries. She will cross the Panama Canal in April 2026, repositioning to San Diego.

The Wonder will again visit the Hawaii, the South Pacific, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as Mexico and Baja, California itineraries.

The Dream will be based at Fort Lauderdale, primarily alternating three and four night Bahamian sailings, with a few five night sailings in the mix.

The Fantasy will undergo a dry dock in fall 2025, followed by a return to Port Canaveral where she will sail four and five night Bahamian trips from Port Canaveral.

The Disney Wish will sail alternating three and four night trips from Port Canaveral. And the Treasure will make seven night sailings in the Caribbean.

Suri Cruise’s dashing prom date has been identified as budding musician Toby Cohen — a fellow senior at LaGuardia High School.

Cruise, who turned 18 in April, was seen beaming as she stepped out arm in arm with Cohen at the event, held Tuesday night on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

The twosome appeared incredibly close, with Cohen captured slipping his hands around Cruise’s waist at one point during the evening.

However, the pair are set to go their separate ways in the fall.

It was recently revealed that the daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise will be studying at Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburg.

Cohen, meanwhile, is set to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Cohen, who is a singer, songwriter, pianist and guitarist, frequently shares his musical endeavors on TikTok and YouTube.

Following his high-profile prom date, the teen set his social accounts to private, proving he isn’t romancing Cruise to push his fledgling music career.

However, video of Cohen playing piano and singing at a LaGuardia High School recital earlier this year is still available on the school’s YouTube account.

The youngster bares more than a passing resemblance to actor Timothée Chalamet, who is an alumnus of LaGuardia High School.

Meanwhile, Cruise’s mom, Katie Holmes, was not seen at the event.

The mother-daughter duo are known to be extremely close and live together in New York City.

Cruise has reportedly been estranged  from her father, Tom, for years.

In 2023, a source told  Page Six  that Tom, 61, “has not seen” his daughter “in a very long time and is not a part of her life.”

The “Top Gun” star is currently in London.

Travis Kelce discussed his “go-to date night meal” that he prepares himself during a rapid-fire interview shared on “Bachelor” alum Matt James’ TikTok Tuesday.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end revealed that he cooks homemade pasta with seafood for romantic date nights at home amid his sizzling relationship with Tayor Swift .

“I just recently found out how to make some home-cooked pasta,” Kelce, 34, told James, 32. “Like some actual noodles, home-cooked and everything.”

The NFL player noted that he mixes the fresh noodles with some “spicy lemon garlic and shrimp” before clarifying that he was referring to whipping up a “shrimp linguini” dish.

“As you can tell, I don’t cook,” the athlete admitted with a laugh.

Kelce isn’t the only one in the relationship who knows how to work a stove. The three-time Super Bowl champion revealed in a press conference earlier this month that Swift, also 34, prepares some delectable baked goods from him.

“Taylor makes a great Pop-tart and cinnamon roll,” he said at the time, adding that he “thoroughly” enjoys cooking with the pop star.

Swift’s baking skills have been a staple throughout the duo’s love story.

Retired footballer Bernie Kosar revealed that the Grammy-winning artist baked Kelce the gooey, frosting-covered pastries ahead of his game against the Chicago Bears last September. That game was significant for the couple because it was when they made their love public after dating for nearly two months.

Earlier this year, Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid also spilled that Swift baked homemade Pop-Tarts throughout the 2023 to 2024 NFL season.

“She makes a mean Pop-Tart. She just doesn’t share it with me, she shares with all the linemen,” he explained in February. “I’m telling her, ‘You gotta give a little to the coach.'”

Cooking is a special activity for the pair, as Swift famously featured a clip of her and Kelce getting busy in the kitchen while promoting her eleventh studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”

The April Instagram video showed Kelce showing off his chef skills before kissing the “Cruel Summer” singer on the cheek.

However, the pair doesn’t always stay in for date night and they’ve been seen hitting some amazing restaurants together .

Top Gun 3 is happening, but when it will actually come out has just become a big cause of concern for me after a couple of updates about Tom Cruise's successors. When Top Gun: Maverick came out, it had been three and a half decades since Tony Scott's original Top Gun came out in 1986 and catapulted Cruise to a different level of stardom. The sequel convinced me that good things are worth waiting for. I loved it so much that Top Gun: Maverick was the only movie that I watched three times in the theater since 2019's Avengers: Endgame .

Despite this, I'm still holding out hope that Top Gun 3 won't take nearly that long to come out . What can I say? I can be impatient (hence why I'm not a fan of streaming shows, since they have oddly long breaks, but that's a different article). At least, Paramount has officially ordered the threequel, and I can't blame them, considering Top Gun: Maverick 's $1.49 billion haul . Currently, the company is looking at what could be its next big action franchise, especially if Mission: Impossible is indeed ending. Cruise's schedule has been mainly holding it up, however.

As much as I would want Cruise to continue playing the role, he unfortunately cannot do it forever.
