USA-Ireland Depart from USA for overnight flight to Ireland. Flight not included.

Day 2 Shannon-Limerick-Adare. Upon arrival at Shannon Airport, make our way via taxi to our five-star hotel. This afternoon you enjoy a tour to the majestic Cliffs of Moher. Dinner and Overnight at a Five Star Property Hammond will select the five-star hotels from the following: Dromoland Castle, Adare Manor, Savoy Limerick.

Limerick-Dingle-Killarney. After breakfast we depart Limerick for the Dingle Peninsula. The journey begins with some of the most magnificent scenery in all of Ireland. The little town of Dingle is straight out of a story book. The fishing boats in the harbor and tiny brightly painted pubs reflect a place where time has continued to stand still. We continue to Slea Head. Along the way, we will see bee-hive style huts, originally inhabited by 12th century monks, which overlook the rugged Blasket Islands. There is no other landscape in western Europe with the density and variety of archaeological monuments as found on the Dingle Peninsula. It is then onto Killarney for our overnight. Overnight in Killarney at the Killarney Park Hotel. The Killarney Park Hotel is one of the finest luxury hotels Ireland has to offer. Perfectly located in the heart of Killarney town center, set in mature grounds and framed by the legendary surroundings of Killarney National Park, this is a Five Star Hotel really like no other.

Ring of Kerry.  After breakfast we enjoy an optional tour to the beautiful Gap of Dunloe in the Killarney National Park. We then start on a full day tour of “The Ring”. There is an unspoiled nature to Ireland’s most beautiful region and the Ring of Kerry provides many unforgettable memories as it passes through the many picturesque villages such as Glenbeigh, Waterville and Sneem and returns via Ladies View and the famous Lakes of Killarney. Overnight Killarney Park Hotel.

Killarney-Blarney-Cork. After breakfast we depart Killarney and head towards Cork City. Our next stop, the picturesque town of Blarney, is the home of Blarney Castle and the Blarney stone (optional admission), which legend has it bequeaths the “gift of eloquence” to all who kiss it. Time to shop at the historical woolen mills or stop in Christy’s Pub for a Pint! We depart Blarney and travel to Cork City. Driving into Cork City, we are treated to a panoramic tour before reaching our destination, the five-star Hayfield Manor. A sanctuary in the city, the Hayfield Manor is set among two acres of park-like grounds. Overnight at the Hayfield Manor.

Cork-Kinsale-Cork After breakfast we travel to the Cobh Heritage Center . Over three million Irish people emigrated from this port. Learn about Irish Emigration story, trace your ancestors, hear about the ill-fated Titanic and the Lusitania, and immerse yourself in Irish naval and military history at Cobh Heritage Centre Then we travel on to Kinsale for lunch. The picturesque yachting harbour of Kinsale is one of many colorful gems strung along the coastline of County Cork. Narrow, winding streets lined with galleries and gift shops, lively bars and superb restaurants, and a handsome natural harbour filled with yachts and guarded by a huge 17th-century fortress make it an engrossing place to spend the day. Dinner and Overnight at The Hayfield Manor.

Cork-Cashel-Kildare-Dublin We depart Cork after breakfast traveling northeast. We stop for a photo opportunity in County Tipperary at the historic Rock of Cashel. The Rock of Cashel is a stone fort poised 200 feet above the town. Built in the 5th century, it is said to be the site where St. Patrick illustrated the sacred trinity to the Kings of Munster using the modest shamrock. It is on through Kildare, home of the famous Irish National Stud, where horse breeding and racing is an art (optional admission). Our final stop today is Dublin. This time is on our own to explore all the shops and pubs via the famous pedestrian walkways. Overnight Dublin. Hammond will select the five-star hotels from the following: the Shelbourne, Westbury, Fitzwilliam, Intercontinental or Westin Hotel. We bid farewell to our driver guide who has become like a member of the family.

Dublin Today you tour the town of Dublin on your own. Included is a Hop on Hop Off Dublin Bus Pass . You will be sure to see St. Patrick’s Cathedral where writer Jonathan Swift gave his sermons, The G.P.O. on O’Connell Street scene of the 1916 Easter Uprising where the bullet holes remain to this day. Drive through famous Phoenix Park where the Pope said Mass in late 70’s and finally Trinity College to view the 8th century manuscripts, The Book of Kells, still preserved as they were when the Monks produced them all those centuries ago. Why not visit Jamison Distillery? Overnight Dublin. Hammond will select the five-star hotels from the following: the Shelbourne, Westbury, Fitzwilliam, Intercontinental or Westin Hotel.

Day 9 Dublin-Dublin Airport Morning departure from Dublin hotel via taxi on own to Dublin Airport (please ask concierge to arrange a taxi pickup at your desired time) for our flight onwards.

Step Inside a New York Town House That’s the Picture of Understated Elegance

It can be all too easy to fall into a sea of design sameness—chasing trends and ending up with a space that looks beautiful but lacks soul. That’s far from the approach of Hadley Wiggins , the self-taught design maven and AD100 talent who is quietly making waves with her wholly original, highly textured, and delightfully hard-to-define aesthetic.

Wiggins’s latest project, a stately limestone town house on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, perfectly encapsulates her inimitable style. The home, inhabited by a family with two young children, required a deft hand to honor its historic bones while imbuing the space with softness, warmth, and personality.

“When it was purchased, the house had all of its original details—moldings, windows, fireplace surrounds. But it had undergone a well-meaning yet stark renovation that felt very optic white,” Wiggins explains. “The goal was to make more nuanced choices to create contrast and visual interest without distracting from the inherent beauty of the architecture.”

The designer achieved this through an intriguing interplay of subtle tones punctuated by strategic moments of saturation. Richly hued spaces like the dining room —Wiggins’s favorite of her career thus far—serve to “compress” the home’s sprawling layout. “With a home this size, you have ample opportunity to carve out those airy, light-filled moments. Then you get to decide where you want to create coziness and intimacy,” she says.

The common thread that weaves the home’s diverse palette together is Wiggins’s curation of furnishings, art, and objects (achieved with the help of art advisor Kate Bellin ). Each room features an eclectic mélange of pieces of various eras, styles, and provenances—a signature of the designer’s approach.

“I very rarely go shopping with a specific look or piece in mind. I buy things that speak to me, and then I work to find their rightful place in a space,” Wiggins says. “The goal is to strike enough diversity that you unlock yourself from strict parameters. The question becomes less about adhering to a singular aesthetic, and more about balancing tone, weight, and that intangible special something.”

This method lends the home a collected quality—each piece feels like a treasured find the homeowners have amassed over a lifetime. Standouts include the living room’s antique tapestry, which serves as a Rosetta stone of sorts for the space, an oil painting that acts as its perfect foil, and an array of lighting that spans the style spectrum.

Equally impressive is Wiggins’s facility with pattern and texture, honed during her years at Ralph Lauren. “Incorporating pattern is never easy—in an average room you may need to make five key fabric choices, and every single one needs to tick a host of boxes in terms of design, durability, and client approval. It’s an immense puzzle, but the payoff is so worth it,” she says.

This approach extends to even the most functional of spaces, as evidenced by the home’s powder room. Anchored by a striking custom wood vanity and matching toilet seat, the moody, cocoon-like space proves Wiggins’s theory that a powder room “is not about function; it’s about feeling incredible.”

And while the home’s exquisite detailing and bespoke elements are certainly incredible, Wiggins never loses sight of the fact that this is first and foremost a family home. “I’m not doing my job if I create a museum. The beauty of this space is that it can handle the ‘oopses’ of life. It can evolve, it can wear, and it will only get better over time,” she muses.

It’s this unique alchemy—the push-pull between elegance and approachability, history and modernity, specificity, and serendipity—that marks Wiggins’s work. She adds, “I spend a lot of time looking for pieces that are beautiful because they are old and worn. That spirit of imperfect perfection is something I strive for in every space.”

Pierre Frey ’s Au Bord Du Lac—wallpaper that takes inspiration from 17th- and 18th-century tapestries—brings a little bit of the forest into a home office. A vintage desk lamp from Montage Antiques sits on the desk.

In this space, the walls and cabinetry are painted in Benjamin Moore ’s Rainy Afternoon. The faucet is by Barber Wilsons .

An ancillary bedroom showcases a custom bed in Holland & Sherry ’s Sloan Sq. The side table ceramic lamps with Brick knurl linen shades are by artist Rebekah Miles, from Nickey Kehoe .

Upholstered walls, a custom bed, and lampshades in Pierre Frey ’s Montbazon define another sleeping space.

Ilim Group Presents its New KLB Mill to Industry Players

Presentation of the largest kraftliner production site in Russia took place at the 27th International Exhibition of the Packaging Industry RosUpack

The presentation of the Big Ust-Ilimsk Project, involving the construction of Russia’s one-of-a-kind pulp and board (KLB) mill in the Irkutsk Oblast, was one of the key events at RosUpack 2023. When speaking at the plenary session on corrugated board packaging market development, Alexey Chenyaev, Ilim’s Senior Vice President, Sales, Supply Chain Management and Packaging, focused on the advanced manufacturing and environmental solutions implemented at the new KLB Mill and prospects for sales market expansion it will secure.

After KLB Mill ramp-up (600,000 tons of kraftliner per year), the total annual output of Ilim Group will amount to 4.3 million tons. The Company will be one of the world’s largest producers of unbleached packaging materials and will strengthen its leadership in the Chinese market of wood-free corrugated materials with a share of approximately 50 to 60%.

The Big Ust-Ilimsk project was met by exhibitors with great interest. This year the event was attended by more than 740 companies from 19 countries. Ilim’s booth with an area of 140 m2 was one of the largest one at the site and was operated by about 50 experts from Sales and Corrugated Box Business Management Departments. The booth was attended by over 60 key accounts and more than 120 representatives of various companies, including such major ones as Heinz, MARS and KDV-Group.

An exhibition of elegance in motion, the annual Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance presented by Rolex features more than 150 Concours entrants seeking to prove they are roadworthy and gain an advantage in the Concours as they trace a scenic route on Highway One. 

The Tour begins in Pebble Beach, traces 17-Mile Drive, Highway One to Big Sur, and then returns to Pebble Beach to cross the Finish line. A car that successfully completes the Tour gets the nod if it later ties in class competition at the Concours. 

This is a great opportunity to get a first glimpse of the beautiful cars that will grace the show field on Concours Sunday as the public is invited to view the Tour, without fee, at several points. 

For all you early birds, there’s nothing like hearing and feeling the engines revving at the Start. Be sure to get there bright and early though: the cars begin to line up before 7:00 am and leave promptly at 9:30 am!
