Wat waanzinnig dat zo veel mensen naar onze shows in AFAS Live komen dit najaar. Te gek dat we niet één, maar twee shows doen op donderdag 10 en vrijdag 11 oktober 2024. Dat maakt ons trots. We gaan er twee waanzinnige avonden van maken en hopen iedereen daar te zien.

De tickets worden uitsluitend verkocht via GUTS, een ticketsysteem die zich specialiseert in veilige en mobiele tickets. Kijk voor meer informatie over GUTS en de ticketverkoop op support.guts.tickets.

HOE BESTEL IK TICKETS VIA GUTS?

Je hebt nodig: • Een telefoon waarmee je een SMS kunt ontvangen • Je gegevens om een account aan te maken • Alles wat je nodig hebt om te kunnen betalen

Waarom een telefoon waarmee ik een SMS kan ontvangen? De tickets van GUTS worden gekoppeld aan je telefoonnummer. Je logt in met je telefoonnummer, en daarbij ontvang je een SMS.

Ook zonder smartphone kan je tickets kopen. Dat gaat dan via de computer en een (mobiele) telefoon. Zolang je de mogelijkheid hebt om een SMS te ontvangen zit je goed. Om een account aan te maken of in te loggen ontvang je namelijk een verificatiecode per SMS.

Welke gegevens moet ik hebben om een account aan te kunnen maken? GUTS vraagt de volgende gegevens: • Voor- en achternaam • E-mailadres • Geslacht • Geboortedatum • Postcode en huisnummer (optioneel)

Moet ik meteen betalen? De bestelling wordt pas afgerond als je betaald hebt. Zorg dus dat je alles bij de hand hebt. Afhankelijk van je bank heb je een e.dentifier, code of app nodig. Er kan betaald worden met iDEAL en creditcard.

Deze website (www.chefspeciallive.nl) is het enige officiële verkooppunt voor toegangskaarten voor dit concert. De kaartverkoop wordt uitgevoerd door GUTS.

Veel mensen zijn er niet van op de hoogte dat er naast officiële online verkooppunten ook veel websites zijn die tickets opkopen en doorverkopen met als doel het maken van winst. Je betaalt via deze websites – vaak onbewust – veel meer voor een ticket dan de oorspronkelijke prijs. Soms anderhalf tot drie keer meer dan de oorspronkelijke prijs.

Ook blijkt dat niet alle kaarten toegang geven tot het evenement omdat hetzelfde ticket aan meerdere personen is doorverkocht. Dit doorverkopen gebeurt zonder toestemming van de organisator. Dus koop alleen je tickets via deze website www.chefspeciallive.nl zodat je niet teveel betaalt én zeker weet dat je het evenement ook binnenkomt.

Voor tickets die niet via www.chefspeciallive.nl gekocht zijn, kunnen wij geen enkele garantie geven op de geldigheid ervan. Hiervoor verwijzen we je naar de website waar je de ticket heeft gekocht.

WAAR KAN IK MIJN GEKOCHTE TICKETS VINDEN?

Je tickets staan in je account. Dit is trouwens ook de enige plek waar ze bewaard worden. Het is niet mogelijk om de tickets te downloaden, op te slaan of te printen.

Het makkelijkste is om je tickets te bekijken via de GUTS-app. Hier kan je de tickets bekijken, gebruiken, delen met vrienden en je tickets verkopen als je er toch niet heen kunt.

Let op: De tickets zijn enkel zichtbaar als je inlogt met het telefoonnummer dat je hebt gebruikt om de tickets te kopen. Deze vind je terug in je bevestigingsmail.

KAN IK MIJN TICKETS PRINTEN?

Nee, het is niet mogelijk om de tickets te printen.

GUTS-tickets zijn beveiligd tegen woekerprijzen en fraude. De instellingen van onze tickets worden online vastgelegd, zodat het ticket altijd dezelfde prijs behoudt en nooit meer dan één eigenaar heeft. Als je de tickets zou kunnen printen, kunnen deze als nog doorverkocht worden voor hogere prijzen.

Hoe geef ik mijn tickets weg? Je kunt de tickets met anderen delen of aan iemand anders geven, zonder dat je de tickets hoeft te printen:  lees hier hoe delen werkt.

Ik heb geen smartphone, en nu? Mocht het niet lukken om de tickets op je telefoon te openen, neem dan op de avond van het evenement dezelfde telefoon mee waarmee je de tickets ook hebt gekocht/geregistreerd en je legitimatie, dan kan GUTS je ter plekke helpen.

KAN IK TICKETS DELEN OF CADEAU GEVEN?

Als je tickets voor meerdere mensen hebt gekocht, dan kan je tickets voor je vrienden/familie wel naar die personen doorsturen.  Lees hier hoe dat moet via de GUTS-app.

IK HEB EEN NIEUW TELEFOONNUMMER, WAT NU?

Het kan natuurlijk voorkomen dat je een nieuw telefoonnummer krijgt en hierdoor je tickets niet meer kunt bekijken.

Je kunt je tickets in dat geval van tevoren met iemand anders delen, zodat je zeker weet dat je nog bij je tickets kan.  Lees hier hoe delen werkt.

Heb je je nummer al ingeleverd? Dan zullen wij je account moeten aanpassen. Om fraude te voorkomen vragen wij een officieel bewijs van je nummerwijziging en het contract/bewijs van je vorige nummer. Het is voor GUTS belangrijk je 06-nummer en je naam op deze bewijzen te zien.

Stuur deze gegevens zo snel mogelijk naar GUTS toe, zodat we je snel kunnen helpen. Na ontvangst van deze documenten zorgen ervoor dat jouw tickets over worden gezet en bereikbaar zijn via je nieuwe mobiele nummer!

IK HEB GEEN BEVESTIGINGSMAIL ONTVANGEN.

Controleer allereerst je spam-box, het kan gebeuren dat onze e-mail hierin terecht is gekomen.

Het kan zijn dat je een spelfout hebt gemaakt in je e-mailadres. Dit kan je controleren door in te loggen via  my.guts.tickets  en op ‘jouw profiel’ te klikken. Je kan je e-mailadres dan zelf aanpassen en zal alle toekomstige e-mails op het aangepaste adres ontvangen.

Informatie uit de e-mail Dan heb je natuurlijk nog steeds de bevestigingsmail niet ontvangen, maar geen zorgen. Hier alvast de belangrijkste informatie:

Je tickets worden veilig online bewaard in je GUTS-account, welke je bij binnenkomst op je mobiele telefoon moet openen. Open je tickets tijdig op je mobiel, om lange wachtrijen te voorkomen. Je kan je tickets altijd via  my.guts.tickets  of onze app vinden.

Mocht je het niet vertrouwen of voor de zekerheid nog even iets willen checken, neem dan contact met GUTS op.

IK WIL MIJN TICKETS VERKOPEN

Je kunt je tickets verkopen via de GUTS app. GUTS biedt binnen de bestaande app een tweedehands ticketmarkt aan waar je je tickets te koop aan kan bieden.

• Selecteer het event waar je tickets voor wilt verkopen.
• Klik het tickettype aan dat je in de verkoop wilt zetten. De tickets zijn gegroepeerd per tickettypes.
• Als je op het tickettype hebt geklikt zie je alle tickets die je hebt van dit type. Je kunt per ticket op ‘verkoop’ klikken.
• Als je al je tickets wilt verkopen, moet je deze allemaal apart in de verkoop zetten.
• Deel de link naar jouw tickets met vrienden / familie / online, zodat je tickets sneller verkocht worden!

Let op: het te koop aanbieden van tickets is geen garantie op geld terug. Pas wanneer je tickets daadwerkelijk verkocht worden, zal je je aankoopbedrag minus servicekosten terugkrijgen.

BEREIKBAARHEID AFAS Live, AMSTERDAM

De show vindt plaats in AFAS Live, Amsterdam. Voor meer informatie over de bereikbaarheid verwijzen we je graag door naar de website van AFAS Live , daar staat per vervoersmiddel aangegeven hoe je AFAS Live het beste kunt bereiken.

TASSENBELEID AFAS Live

Tassen van maximaal A4 formaat en circa 10 cm dik zijn toegestaan. Tassen binnen dit formaat kun je kwijt in de lockers van AFAS Live . Voor grote tassen kun je terecht bij Lockerpoint . Je kunt hier een grote locker huren voor het opbergen van bagage zoals rugtassen, weekendtassen, trolleys, een helm of koffers. De bagagelockers zijn altijd tot 1 uur na het evenement geopend.

WAT MAG IK NIET MEENEMEN?

MOGEN PARAPLU'S MEE NAAR BINNEN?

Nee, paraplu’s mogen niet mee naar binnen. Ook is er geen opslag mogelijk in AFAS Live voor deze voorwerpen. We raden iedereen aan om daarom geen paraplu’s te gebruiken als het op de avond van het concert regent.

GEEN ALCOHOL ONDER DE 18

Er zal streng worden toegezien dat er aan bezoekers onder de 18 geen drank wordt geschonken. Minderjarigen vanaf 18 jaar kunnen op het terrein op vertoon van hun legitimatie een polsbandje halen waarmee zij gerechtigd zijn om alcohol te drinken. WAT IS DE MINIMUMLEEFTIJD VOOR DIT CONCERT?

Dit concert is voor alle leeftijden. We adviseren fans onder de 16 jaar te komen met een volwassen begeleider. Uiteindelijk is het aan de ouders/verzorgers om te bepalen of zij hun kinderen (met of zonder begeleiding) naar dit concert willen laten gaan.

Jeni Britton and BJ Lieberman plan dinner collaboration at Chapman's Eat Market on June 11

Jeni Britton, whose ice creams have finished off many a meal in Columbus over the last two decades, is finally headed into the kitchen before dessert.

The founder of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams and BJ Lieberman, the chef and co-owner of Chapman's Eat Market in German Village, are to announce plans Saturday for a one-night-only dinner collaboration June 11. Britton is to be the guest chef for a meal that should feature six savory courses and two dessert courses.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday.

"We've been in each other's orbit for a while," Lieberman told The Dispatch about the origin of the kitchen collaboration. "I just assumed she'd done guest-chef dinners before. I finally just asked her."

Don't get nervous about the idea of the Jeni's flavors you know suddenly appearing as part of a main course. Lieberman said the two have discussed all this: the components of ice cream, things like cream and eggs and how they're also components of many dishes and sauces.

So, you'll see things on their menu like a "Crab Louie" salad, which creamy thousand island, green goddess and ranch dressings come in Dippin' Dots form; or a wagyu steak au poivre, which sauce of cream, cognac, butter and pepper melts from frozen.

You'll see more guest-chef dinners, special events and short-term popups from Lieberman in the future. He announced on social media May 24 that he is closing his well-received Hiraeth restaurant in the Short North and is to use the venue instead for private and special events.

It's a growing trend in the restaurant industry as diners seek an experience in addition to a meal.

The guest-chef dinner with Britton is to be at Chapman's, 739 S. Third St. in German Village. There are 120 tickets available — two sittings of 60 are planned — and the cost is $125 per person.

'A series that has withstood the test of time.' Indiana All-Stars week tips off.

The Indianapolis 500 is in the books, which is means it is time to turn the calendar to June and look ahead to one of the next longest-running traditions in sports in the state: The Indiana-Kentucky All-Stars high school basketball series .

IndyStar Indiana All-Stars week festivities officially begin Sunday when the Junior All-Stars — girls at 2 p.m. and boys at 4 p.m. — play the Kentucky Junior All-Stars at Meyer Gym in Scottsburg. Indiana All-Stars director Mike Broughton believes the series is in the best shape it has been post-pandemic.

“We have 66 teams playing in our high school shootout at Warren Central the day of the All-Star game (June 8 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse),” Broughton said. “That’s a lot more schools and a lot more coaches giving their day to support the All-Stars. We also have 15 schools that have bought block tickets who are bringing their program and feeder system to the game. We’re excited about that.

"If this game is going to survive, it’s going to be on younger people coming to the game. Just in the last two weeks we’ve sold 1,600 tickets from those schools bringing kids from third grade to high school to the game. If you want to be an All-Star, you can’t be it until you see it. We want kids to see it and be part of it.”

The Indiana All-Stars have been around since 1939 with the series against Kentucky starting in 1940. The girls series began in 1976. The Indiana boys own a 104-45 all-time series lead, though Kentucky snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 94-90 win last year in Owensboro, Ky. The Indiana girls lead the series 53-41 but have not swept Kentucky since 2016.

The Indiana All-Stars will play three games: a girls-boys doubleheader against the Junior All-Stars on Wednesday at Memorial Gym in Kokomo (girls game at 6 p.m., boys to follow), at Lexington Catholic High School on Friday (girls at 5:30 p.m., boys to follow) and at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday (girls at 5 p.m.; boys at 7:30 p.m.).

The All-Stars will be led by Mr. Basketball Flory Bidunga of Kokomo and Miss Basketball Chloe Spreen of Bedford North Lawrence.

“This is a series that has withstood the test of time,” Broughton said. “There is a lot of tradition and I tell the players and coaches all the time, ‘This game is bigger than you.’ I know the players by the end of the week will appreciate having been a part of it before they go off to their universities. There are a lot of people who come together to make this week happen. I’m really proud of our past but also excited about what we’ve got going for the future.”

One of the new events added to All-Star week for the first time last year is the “Futures Games”, which will be played Monday at Hamilton Southeastern. Those teams are made up of freshmen and sophomores. Played in a North-South format, the girls game will be played at 6 p.m., with the boys to follow.

“We want to honor kids from across the state and also bring them to play against the best competition and see how they perform in a setting like that,” Broughton said. “The competition is greater than it would be at your local high school. It gives us an opportunity to see them in that setting, along with the Junior All-Stars.”

Broughton said ticket sales for the game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse are up overall by more than 1,000 from last year’s game. The All-Stars will sponsor Riley Hospital and Special Olympics of Indiana and will make a $5,000 donation on Saturday. Tickets for Saturday can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com by searching Indiana vs. Kentucky .

“We’re excited to give back,” Broughton said. “I think this game transcends generations and should be one that shows the heart of Indiana people.”

>> Admission is $10 per person for the Indiana Juniors vs. Kentucky Juniors doubleheader on Sunday at Scottsburg. Tickets are available at the door. The girls start at 2 p.m., and the boys follow about 4 p.m.

>> Admission is $10 per person for the Indiana All-Star "Futures Games" on Monday at Hamilton Southeastern. Tickets are available at the door. The girls start at 6 p.m. and the boys follow about 8 p.m.

>> Admission is $10 per person for the Junior-Senior doubleheader on Wednesday at Kokomo. Tickets are available at the door. The girls start at 6 p.m., and the boys follow about 8 p.m. 

>> Tickets are $15 each for the All-Stars against Kentucky on Friday at Lexington Catholic High School. The girls start at 5:30 p.m., and the boys follow about 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at  kentuckybasketballcoaches.org .

Jennifer Lopez cancels 2024 tour This Is Me: 'Completely heartsick and devastated'

Jennifer Lopez has canceled her summer North American tour , which was to be her first in five years, weeks before she was scheduled to go on the road.

The pop star made the announcement Friday in her On The JLo fan newsletter.

"Representatives for Live Nation announced today that the Jennifer Lopez US Summer 2024 Tour 'THIS IS ME...LIVE' is canceled, citing ... 'Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends,'" the newsletter reads.

The statement was followed by a personal note , "A Special Message to My JLovers OnTheJLo."

"I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again," Lopez wrote. "I love you all so much. Until next time..."

USA TODAY has reached out to Live Nation for comment.

Lopez's first show of the tour had been slated for June 26 in Orlando, Florida.

This Is Me... Live announcement comes after seven tour dates were canceled

The announcement comes weeks after several shows on the tour were canceled without explanation. According to Ticketmaster, Lopez's scheduled performances in Nashville, Tennessee; New Orleans; Raleigh, North Carolina; Atlanta; Houston; Cleveland and Tampa, Florida would no longer take place.

"Unfortunately, the event organizer has had to cancel your event," the message for those pages reads.

This is Me...Live was a 30-date arena tour that was going to feature Lopez's chart-breakers and classic hits from her discography, like songs "On The Floor," "Let's Get Loud" and "Jenny from the Block." Her most recent tour in 2019, the It's My Party tour, sold out venues across the country.

The tour was in support of her new album, “This is Me … Now,” which released in February. The record was accompanied by an Amazon Prime musical movie, “ This is Me … Now: A Love Story ."

Speaking to USA TODAY earlier this year about "This is Me ... Now" possibly being her swan song, Lopez said, "This was going to be the quintessential thing I have been searching for and wanted to say about love."

"I’ve been on this search for so long, since people first met me and my first record came out and even before that in my first movie role, where I’ve been on this journey trying to figure this thing out for myself. This (album) kind of closed the loop in a way,” she said. “It captures this moment to really say the things I want to say about love, and that is that true love does exist and some things are forever. Please don’t give up on that because that’s all that matters in life … love.”'

Separate outings have fueled speculation about marriage with Ben Affleck

Lopez's announcement also comes amid widespread speculation about her marriage of nearly two years to Ben Affleck.

After various media reports suggested Lopez and Affleck may no longer be living together, the Hollywood A-List couple has been increasingly under the microscope, with media prying over their whereabouts and whether both are still wearing their rings.

On May 16, Lopez and Affleck were photographed together for the first time in over a month, with each spotted wearing their respective wedding rings.

The two were engaged to each other twice: first in 2002 then again in 2021. The couple got married in a late-night ceremony in Las Vegas on July 16, 2022, which Lopez called "the best possible wedding we could have imagined."

This is the second marriage for Affleck and the fourth for Lopez.

Tickets will automatically be refunded, according to the newsletter.

Fans who purchased from third-party sites such as SeatGeek, StubHub and VividSeats should reach out to those websites for refunds.
