Much like its variety of culinary influences, Houston boasts a vibrant art community, and the city is full of colorful murals that are worth checking out.

This electric cart mural tour is an excellent way for art lovers to get their fix without being stuck in a stuffy museum or gallery, and it’s a fun way to learn about the local culture as well.

The tour lasts about 1 ½ hours and visits dozens of murals in a number of neighborhoods.

4. Historic Downtown Pub Crawl

Pub crawls are fun events for the over 21 crowd, and merry revelers often meet like-minded travelers from all over the country and world.

This 3-hour downtown pub tour includes stops at four bars. Along the way, guests will learn about the neighborhoods they’re visiting and the city’s history as well.

It’s a great opportunity to rub elbows with locals, so don’t be shy about asking them for suggestions for unique things to see and do while in town.

Pool, pinball, and darts go great with adult beverages, and many guests head out to explore together after the tour is officially over.

5. Downtown Underground Tunnel Tour

The ground below Houston’s streets is a dizzying web of interconnected tunnels that run for nearly 10 miles.

Fascinating places to explore with an experienced guide, many of them are directly under Fortune 500 companies that reside in some of the city’s towering skyscrapers.

Stops also include a historic courthouse, the state capital, and some of the city’s swankiest hotels.

The tour lasts about two hours. Though its centerpieces are the tunnels, there’s ample time spent above ground as well. It’s a great way to see the city from a unique perspective and discover things to explore on your own later.

6. City Sightseeing Tour by Electric Cart

Electric carts are fun ways to explore a new city, and when matched with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic local guide, all the better.

This sightseeing tour lasts 1 ½ hours and includes stops at several historic sites, urban parks, colorful murals, and the now-shuttered Astrodome.

With a fleet of carts and available guides, tours can range from just a few to nearly 50 guests. They’re great for large families, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and corporate events.

Participants will have time to stop for photographs, and learn about Houston’s theater district, and where to eat and drink later on.

7. Hop-on-Hop-off Houston City Tour

For travelers who’d rather see some of Houston’s most popular sites without wasting time on things that don’t interest them, this hop-on-hop-off city tour is probably just the ticket.

Depending on which option you choose, the tour pass is good for either one or two days.

The tour bus is reminiscent of the double-decker variety found in London. Stops include City Hall, the Downtown Aquarium, Theater District, Market Square, and the Fine Arts Museum – to name just a few.

Guests can choose what they want to explore and how much time they want to spend at each site.

8. Haunted Houston Ghost Walking Tour

Rumor has it that Houston’s got a vibrant ghost community, and many of its most active characters are readily seen after dark.

For the easily frightened, that’s bad news – but for lovers of the eerie and macabre, guided ghost tours are great ways to get a cheap thrill.

Covering about 1 ½ miles, this walking tour leads guests through a number of neighborhoods, each with its own dark and disturbing past.

Compared to some, this two-hour tour is relatively tame and is even appropriate for those traveling with little ones.

Food and drinks are available, but the cost isn’t included in the tour.

9. Apollo 13 Escape Room

In recent years, escape rooms have become popular vacation activities, and compared to many tourist attractions, they’re very reasonably priced.

First-timers consistently rank them as great value, and they’re surprisingly exhilarating too.

The Apollo 13 Escape room is located in the midtown area and allows groups to test their teamwork and problem-solving skills in a NASA and space-themed environment.

The activity lasts an hour and includes non-alcoholic drinks, as well as ample time to take photos decked out in space gear in a lifelike control room.

Groups of between 6 and 12 are okay, but each participant must be at least ten-years-old.

10. Downtown Houston Bites & Sites Food Tour

For those with limited time, it may seem a bit overwhelming deciding what to see and do while in Houston.

Luckily, there are plenty of combo tours that allow visitors to make the most of their trip.

Houston is jam-packed with historical, cultural attractions, and restaurants of all stripes.

On this 3-hour tour, guests will experience all of the above under the guidance of a local food and history expert.

The tour provider’s restaurant partners offer a variety of vibrant cuisines, most of which are paired with vintage-style cocktails, beer, and wine, so plan on showing up with an empty stomach.

11. Houston Museum of Natural Science General Admission

The weather in Houston in the summer can be notoriously hot and humid.

The city is full of outdoor attractions that are definitely worth checking out, but indoor ones like the Houston Museum of Natural Science are great alternatives.

The museum is home to the largest dinosaur display in the country. It includes tons of interactive exhibits that touch on Egyptology, local wildlife and environments, and entomology.

It’s an especially big hit with little ones, and general admission tickets allow guests to see things at their own pace. The museum is wheelchair and stroller accessible and features a lovely on-site café as well.

12. Best 2-Hour City Tour

You may be asking yourself if it’s possible to experience Houston in two hours.

Sounds pretty unlikely, but for those with just a few hours to spare, there’s really no better way to do just that than with this small group vehicle tour.

Guests will enjoy stops at some of the city’s premier attractions, like Market Square, Minute Maid Park, Buffalo Bayou, and the Astrodome.

Each tour includes the services of a friendly and knowledgeable local guide, who’ll describe the things you see and their significance.

The tour has a maximum capacity of 11 travelers and includes pickup and drop-off from area hotels.

13. Houston Sightseeing Tour and Galveston Day Trip

Houston is an impressive city with more than two million residents. It’s also close enough to the Gulf of Mexico to make day trips to coastal towns like Galveston fun options for those who need a break from the chaotic urban setting.

15. iFLY Houston Memorial Indoor Skydiving

Indoor skydiving has significant advantages over the outdoor kind.

Primarily, it’s cheaper, more convenient, and never results in guests hitting the ground at 300 miles-per-hour because their chute failed to open.

Though you won’t technically need a guide to experience skydiving at iFLY, you’ll get all the gear and training you’ll need from their experienced staff before taking the plunge into the wind tunnel.

Prepaid tickets give you the option of visiting when you want, which will come in handy if you prefer to visit on days that are typically less crowded.

Each participant gets one-minute of free-fall time and a personalized certificate to take home.

Houston Downtown Walking Tours

We offer 4 different walking tours. Each of them covers a different area and has a specialty or theme. Each one spends time pointing out the architectural features, architects, history, usage of buildings, and history of Houston. Each of these tours has 6 options in terms of the length of 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.5 hours.

The tunnels on Tour D are only open Monday through Friday from approximately 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We can conduct outdoor walking tours on weekends, but without access to the tunnels.

These tours have the letters D, E, and F to distinguish them from Tunnel Tours A, B, and C.  Please go to our Tunnel Tour page to read more about these other great options.

Tours D2, D3, D4, D5, and D6 are combination tours that spend time both in tunnels and outside. Because the tunnels are closed on weekends, and holidays, they are only available on Monday through Friday and not on:

• New Year’s Day,
• Memorial Day,
• Independence Day,
• Thanksgiving and the following Friday, and

Tours D1, and any of the E, F, and G tours are outside and can be conducted on any day.

Introductions:

Tours D, E, and F have about a 30-minute introduction to collect any remaining balance, sign in, use bathrooms, and describe the architecture, features, and architect of the 1939 City Hall.

Tour G has a 30-minute introduction to collect any remaining balance, sign in, use bathrooms, and describe the architecture and features of the 1901 former Southern Pacific Building, today’s Craft Beer Cellar Houston.

Days of the Week for These Tours: Tour D can only be conducted on Monday through Friday as the buildings, tunnels, and observation decks are closed on weekends.  Tour D can only be conducted from October through March.

Tours E and F can be conducted everyday from October through March.

Time of Year for These Tours: Because of the extreme heat and humidity that Houston enjoys/endures, these walking tours are only conducted from October through March . We used to conduct these tours in April through 2017, but due to the increase in the temperatures, we have reduced the window for these tours to 6 months of the year. When you are sweating profusely, your eyes are stinging from perspiration, you’re squinting, your hair is matted, and your clothes are clinging to you, being outside may not be comfortable. These tours will not be conducted during inclement weather, also.

For exclusive walking tunnel and or skywalk tours that are conducted throughout the year, please read about the three (3) options that are identified on the Tunnel Tours page and the three (3) options on the Texas Medical Center Walking Tours page.

Beginning and Ending Location for Tours D, E, and F: Tours D, E, and F begin and end in the rotunda of City Hall, located at 901 Bagby Street, Houston Texas 77002. If an event is taking place, the tour will begin either outside of City Hall on the east side of the building where the reflecting pool is located or outside the Jesse H. Jones Central Library at 500 McKinney Street, Houston, Texas 77002, across the street from City Hall. Confirm the starting location before you venture to downtown. City Hall may be closed on holidays, for special events, and on Sundays. Then, we typically start at a table on the east side of the building. Confirm the starting location before you venture to downtown.

Entering City Hall for Tours D, E, and F: One can enter City Hall from either the west side Bagby Street entrance and go through a security check or from the east side by the reflecting pool and avoid security. One can also enter City Hall from the basement through a tunnel from a parking lot and go through security, possibly twice  

Parking for Tours D, E, and F:

Metered street parking for up to 3 hours is available on Walker Street on the north side of City Hall and on McKinney Street on the south side of City Hall.

Underground parking is available beneath Tranquility Park via Rusk Street between Bagby Street and Smith Street on the north side of City Hall. Use a fictitious address of 510 Rusk Street in a GPS to find the entrance.

Beginning and Ending Location for Tour G:

Tour G begins at the Craft Beer Cellar Houston (CBCH) at 907 Franklin Street, Houston, Texas 77002 at the intersection with Travis Street on the northeast corner. It has a bar and food for a meal or snack and bathrooms. It normally opens at 12:00 PM on Sunday and Monday and at 11:00 AM on Tuesday through Saturday.

Paid metered parking for up to 3 hours is available on Travis Street by the abandoned former Spaghetti Warehouse that is 1 block north of the CBCH. Metered parking is also available in the 900 block of Commerce Street. Meters are free on Sunday and after 6:00 PM on Monday through Saturday. A paid parking lot is to the east or right side of the former Spaghetti Warehouse. The Islamic Da’wah Center, that is across the street from the CBCH, sometimes opens its parking lot for a fee to the general public.

Starting Times: Tours D, E, and F normally start at 10:00 AM. Tour G normally starts at 12:30 PM. The Craft Beer Cellar Houston opens at 12:00 PM on Sunday and Monday and at 11:00 AM on Tuesday through Saturday. We can be flexible on the start time.

Walking: The walking is leisurely. We will cover approximately:

We always have a stop for lunch on 3.5 and 4.5 hour tours. If you would like to have a lunch stop on a shorter tour, just tell us and we will customize the tour for you by deleting some of the walking and sites.

Since these are outdoor walking tours, public bathrooms are generally unavailable. Use a bathroom before beginning the tour. Public bathrooms are available in City Hall’s basement and in the libraries on McKinney Street, across from City Hall. The libraries normally open at 10:00 AM and are not open everyday. The libraries serve as de fact half-way homes for the homeless. Thus, do not have a high expectation for cleanliness in bathrooms in the libraries.

If you patronize the Craft Beer Cellar Houston, you will be able to use its bathrooms.

Remember that on weekends, most buildings are closed, all but eliminating any bathroom opportunities.

Clothing: Wear comfortable shoes. Bring a sweater if you easily become cold.

Bathrooms in the tunnels are generally NOT open to the public. Use a bathroom before beginning the tour. We may walk 1.0 to 1.5 hours before a bathroom will be available. Public bathrooms are available in City Hall’s basement and in the libraries on McKinney Street, across from City Hall. The libraries serve as de fact half-way homes for the homeless. Thus, do not have a high expectation for cleanliness in bathrooms in the libraries.

If you patronize the Craft Beer Cellar Houston, you will be able to use the bathrooms.

Remember that on weekends, most buildings are closed. Thus, available bathrooms may be far and few.

Clothing: Wear comfortable shoes. Bring a sweater if you become cold easily.

Photography: Bring a camera if you like to take photos. I can point out good photo opportunities. Banks prohibit photography inside their institutions.

Notes for School and Camp Groups: For school groups, the ratio of chaperones to students should be at least 1:10. Ideally, the ratio should be 1:5. At least one week in advance, the school should provide Houston Historical Tours, via email or fax, a written list of all of the chaperones and the cellular telephone numbers where they can be reached on the day of the tour. We only conduct tours for schools when they provide sufficient and trained supervision for the safety of the children with minimal disruptions in the buildings and public areas that we occupy. If a school does not provide chaperone names and telephone numbers and or sufficient chaperones, the tour may not take place and the school will forfeit the deposit.

Chaperones and Teachers: Chaperones and teachers are supposed to serve the function of supervision, guidance, and discipline of students. To that extent, they should be trained and knowledgeable of their responsibilities. They are to be spread out amongst every 5 to 10 students to keep the students in columns. With the exception of the caboose, their cellular telephones should be turned off. On Tour D, one chaperone or teacher should be in every elevator with students. Chaperones and teacher should check the bathrooms when used. They should know the names and have a list of the specific students for whom they are responsible. As a courtesy from Houston Historical Tours, chaperones and teachers are FREE . They do not have to pay. As such, they also do not count toward the total number of students in a school group. For example, if a school has 18 students + 3 chaperones = 21, the school is paying at the rate for 18 people.

Group Sizes: The ideal group has less than 10 people. A walking tour only moves as fast as the slowest person. The larger the group, the less ground that can be covered, or the tour needs to be extended. More time is spent waiting for people to use bathrooms, asking questions, and waiting for the slowpokes to catch up. Please be understanding. The maximum number of people on a walking tour should be 25 per tour guide. Talking to a large group outside will result in problems for people who cannot hear what is being said with other distractions.

Escalators and Elevators on Tour D: <

Physical Condition and Warning:

Not all tunnels are American with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible. Buildings from before 1990, when the ADA was passed, were grandfathered. Some minor climbing on staircases of about one dozen steps is included on all tours. If one uses a cane, wheelchair, or walker, these tours are not appropriate. Be prepared to not see all the sites that are described in the tour due to the slower pace. Not all intersections have ramps. Furthermore, if a person with a disability ignores this information and cannot complete the tour and or slows the tour for everyone else in a group, his or her lack of consideration will have made this an unpleasant event for the other participants who may feel cheated of getting the full tour.

Here’s everything you need to know about exploring the Lone Star State—when to go, where to stay, what to do, and how to get around.

Why you should visit Texas

Big skies and bigger parks. Barbecue and Tex-Mex food (don’t miss the breakfast tacos). A vibrant live music scene in   Austin and world-class birding in South Texas. Plus, cowboys .

Best time to visit Texas

Spring:   March and April bring colorful wildflowers (indigo-hued bluebonnets , red-and-yellow Indian blankets) to the highways and backroads in Central Texas. In Austin,   the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center has 284 acres of native plants inspired by the   Texas-born first lady . Outdoor festivals crowd the calendar. Austin’s South by Southwest Festival offers films and concerts each March; San Antonio ’s ebullient Fiesta   celebrates the city’s Hispanic heritage with parades, a stuff-your-face food festival , and concerts in April. And midway between Austin and Houston , the March Round Top Antiques Fair fills tents, barns, and hayfields with French furniture, vintage cowboy boots, and more.

Summer:   Y’all, it’s hot, with temperatures often soaring above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Beat the heat at one of the state’s Gulf of Mexico beaches , including South Padre Island , where you can watch hatchling releases of baby Kemp’s Ridley sea turtles . Or do as the locals do and go tubing in the Guadalupe River near New Braunfels or in the Frio River in Garner State Park .

Autumn:   Cooler temps lure Texans outdoors to events such as the Austin City Limits Music Festival , with bands in Zilker Park,   or the State Fair of Texas   in Dallas where you can eat a corn dog and wave to Big Tex ,   the 55-foot-tall animatronic greeter.   Lost Maples State Natural Area ,   northwest of San Antonio, has the state’s best fall colors. Celebrate New Braunfels ’ German heritage at Wurstfest .

Winter:   Mild weather makes outdoor activities pleasant around the holidays. In San Antonio, stroll the Riverwalk, where the bald cypress trees are draped with twinkling lights. Amid the Victorian downtown of Galveston , Dickens on the Strand brings costumed revelers and roving musicians.  

Four of America’s largest cities are in Texas.

In the south, San Antonio was once a part of Spain and later Mexico, a history that shows up at the Alamo and the San Antonio Missions . Houston has high culture (art museums, the acclaimed Alley Theatre ) and the NASA Johnson Space Center , where tram tours take in Mission Control and other sites.  

Sister cities Dallas and Fort Worth are just 30 miles apart in North Texas. In “Big D,” catch home games from the Dallas Cowboys football team or hear live music in funky Deep Ellum . A good art museum scene and cowboy culture rule in neighboring Fort Worth, where hatted herders lead longhorn cattle through the Stockyards District every day.

The capital city of Austin is known for live music, barbecue, and Barton Springs Pool , a natural, spring-fed watering hole and the soul of the city.

In the Rio Grande Valley,   an agricultural region bordering Mexico, there are cities such as McAllen and Brownsville plus the varied wildlife habitats (wetlands, thorn forests) of the World Birding Center .

In West Texas, El Paso   offers Tex-Mex bordertown culture amid the stark beauty of the Chihuahuan Desert and the foothills of the Franklin Mountains , best explored via mountain bike or hiking trails.

Parks and smaller cities

The Hill Country

The rolling terrain of the Hill Country in Central Texas is home to Fredericksburg , with its throwback main street full of indie boutiques and German restaurants plus 60-plus wineries in and around town. You’ll also find cowboy culture in Bandera and the beer-drinking enclave made famous in Waylon Jennings’   song “ Luckenbach , Texas .”

The Big Bend  

Two of the state’s largest parks— Big Bend National Park and the adjacent Big Bend Ranch State Park —lure hikers, bikers, and campers to the desert and mountain landscapes of West Texas. Stargaze at the University of Texas’ McDonald Observatory in Fort Davis, or check out the Donald Judd art installations in funky Marfa .  

Texas Coast  

The longest barrier island in the world, Padre Island stretches for 113 miles from the tip of South Texas to Corpus Christi .   Farther north, Galveston Island is the birthplace of Juneteenth and home to Victorian mansions.  

Panhandle  

Palo Duro Canyon , the second largest canyon in the U.S. and a state park, carves through the Panhandle for 120 miles.  

Getting in and around Texas

By plane: Dallas-Fort Worth International, George Bush Intercontinental in Houston, and Austin-Bergstrom International offer domestic and international service; San Antonio International serves Mexico and other cities in the U.S.

By bus: Vonlane   and RedCoach   have luxury bus service between Austin, Dallas/Forth Worth, Houston, and San Antonio. Valley Metro serves the Rio Grande Valley.

By train: Amtrak operates two train routes through Texas—the Texas Eagle   and Sunset Limited .

By car: Texas is easily accessible via major interstates including I-10, I-20, I-35, I-45, and I-37. One of the most scenic drives is FM 170, or the River Road, which hugs the Rio Grande and cuts through Big Bend Ranch State Park between Presidio and Lajitas.

In town: Major cities including Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and El Paso have bus service and bike share systems. DART rail in Dallas serves 65 stations. Austin’s CapMetro rail operates a single line from downtown to the northern suburbs. Houston’s three METRORail   lines connect tourist destinations. The Streetcar in El Paso loops through uptown and downtown.

Know before you go

Cultural history: Native Americans have occupied Texas for more than 14,000 years. Coastal tribes like the Karankawa were semi-nomadic, the Caddos in East Texas and Jumanos in the West farmed and traded. Comanches and Apaches hunted bison and raided villages in the north and west. Enslaved Africans helped the Spanish settle parts of Texas in the 17th and 18th centuries.

The flags of France, Spain, and Mexico once flew over the state, which declared its independence from Mexico in 1836 and joined the U.S in 1846. Texas seceded from the Union and joined the Confederate States of America in 1861. The end of enslavement was announced in Galveston at the end of the Civil War, leading to the Juneteenth holiday .   Immigrants from around the world, including Germany and Czechia,   arrived during the 18th   and 19th centuries, making their marks on places such as New Braunfels, Fredericksburg, and Kerrville .

LGBTQ+ : Texas ranked 27th in a 2020 24/7 Wall St. report of the most LGBTQ+-friendly states in the U.S. Despite Texas’ conservative politics, cities such as Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, and San Antonio get high marks on the Human Rights Campaign 2022 Municipal Equality Index scorecard.

How to visit Texas sustainably

Help preserve habitat by sticking to designated trails and roads. Support businesses that promote dark night skies. It’s legal to drive on public beaches, but watch for wildlife, including nesting sea turtles, and use reef-safe sunscreen. The Love Fredericksburg and Port A Way stewardship   campaigns encourage visitors to keep an eye out for wildlife and pick up litter. Look for LEED-certified hotels and restaurants committed to selling locally grown food.

What to read  

Empire of the Summer Moon , by S.C. Gwynne. This sweeping historic account follows four decades of fighting with the Comanches, Spanish colonialism, the decimation of the American bison and the arrival of railroads.

Forget the Alamo ,   by Bryan Burrough, Chris Tomlinson and Jason Stanford. The myths surrounding the Texas “cradle of liberty” get debunked and explored in this fascinating look at the evolution of the Lone Star State, its legends, and its prejudices. Valley of Shadows ,   by Rudy Ruiz. In this novel set in 19th-century West Texas, tensions along the Mexican border bubble up in dramatic, dark style—with a dash of magical realism.

Carlos Ortiz wins LIV Golf Houston to go with his PGA Tour win at Houston Open

Mexico’s Carlos Ortiz won in Houston for the second time as a pro Sunday, claiming his first victory on the LIV Golf Tour.

Ortiz, who won the PGA Tour's Houston Open in 2020 at Memorial Park , prevailed by one stroke over Adrian Meronk on Sunday at the Golf Club of Houston.

“I love playing here,” Ortiz said. “Obviously, Texas treats me well. It’s my adopted home state. I’m just happy to get it done again in Houston.”

Ortiz and Meronk began the day in a four-way tie for the lead with David Puig and Paul Casey. Ortiz shot a 5-under 67 for a three-day total of 15 under. Ortiz birdied No. 15, while Meronk made bogey to create a two-stroke gap.

“Honestly, it was just a matter of playing solid coming down the stretch,” Ortiz said. “I think there was a switch there on 15 that I made birdie, he made bogey, and I just knew that I had to par in pretty much, and it was mine. That’s what I was trying to do.”

Ortiz, who began his day with breathing exercises on the first tee, was finally able to exhale after his final putt on 18 for bogey sealed the win.

After being sprayed with champagne by his Torque GC teammates, Ortiz, 33, opened his arms in celebration as the skies, which had threatened rain all day, provided a slight sprinkle.

While several in the field will be moving on to the U.S. Open next week, Ortiz won’t. He missed qualifying for the event last week.

“It’s a shame I doubled the last hole to miss the qualifier,” Ortiz said. “It hurt a lot. But I think with time, we’re going to get back into the majors, because I know that I’m one of the best players in the world right now, and I deserve to be there. But the way things are happening right now, it’s kind of hard. I’ll do my best to get into the British Open, and I also have the Summer Olympics, too, other than the LIV tournaments coming up.”

Meronk had tied Ortiz for the lead with consecutive birdies at 11, 12 and 13 before his bogey at 15. Trailing by two going into the final hole, Meronk gave himself a slight chance when he reached the green in two and had a birdie putt. Ortiz had gone over the green and had to take a drop after his ball landed up against the wall of a spectator club.

But Ortiz hit a nice chip, and Meronk missed his birdie putt.

Ortiz said that as he set up his chip, he was thinking, “Don’t chunk it.” He didn’t. 

“ I’ve been working on those chips,” he said. “It’s easy right now.”

Local favorite Patrick Reed tied for third with Puig at 13 under after overcoming a bogey on his first hole to finish with a 68.

The Cleeks GC, led by Poland’s Meronk, won the team title at 33 under. Also contributing for the all-European team were Martin Kaymer (Germany), Richard Bland (England) and Kalle Samooja (Finland).

It was the Cleeks' first team title on the LIV tour, which, in addition to an individual winner, also recognizes four-man teams.

The LIV tour has six events left this season, including its championship in Dallas on Sept. 20-22. That just happens to be the adopted hometown of Ortiz.

“I guess Texas likes me,” Ortiz said. “And I like Texas back.”

LIV Golf Houston Leaderboard: Fireballs take lead after standout Round 2 in Houston

LIV Golf starts the second half of its 2024 schedule this weekend at its inaugural event at the Golf Club of Houston. Thirteen teams are competing through Sunday for a $25 million purse.

Gleeks GC started out Round 2 with a three-stroke lead over Torque GC. They'd drop back to second though due to an impressive day from Fireballs GC. David Puig and Abraham Ancer each posted a six-under-66 with 13 birdies and just one bogey combined. Fireballs ended Day 2 of the event with a four-stroke lead over Gleeks.

Puig moved into a four-way tie for first following Round 2 at 10-under with the Gleeks' Adrian Meronk , Torque GC's Carlos Ortiz , and Crushers GC's Paul Casey . Puig, Ancer, and Smash GC's Jason Kokrak tied for the best individual score of the day at 6-under.
