Does the rear end of your pickup sit too low for your liking? Raise the rear of your pickup with our selection of rear lift blocks and U-bolt kits, increasing ride height without breaking the bank! We offer several block kits with varying lift heights from all the leading brands, ensuring a product that delivers a flawless fit and balanced ride height!
Rear Lift Block FAQs
Q: What are lift blocks?
A: Lift blocks raise the rear ride height of your leaf-sprung vehicle. These simple alloy blocks mount between the leaf springs and axle tubes, increasing the distance between the axle and the body and, thus, the body and the ground!
Q: Are lift blocks safe?
A: Yes! High-quality lift blocks are perfectly safe; they’re even the included lift option on several entry-level lift kits. When installing lift blocks, it’s essential to pair them with appropriately sized U-bolts to ensure adequate clamping force.
Q: Do lift blocks affect ride quality?
A: No! In most cases, lift blocks retain your vehicle’s original ride quality, considering no other components are altered. However, depending on the size of your new lift blocks, you may need to upgrade to longer rear dampers.

Excursion Block Heater Standard?
- Add to quote
I currently have a 05 Excursion EB with the Powerstroke. Its the second one I have owned. Both had the factory block heater, which I must have in Ohio. I just bought my third one, its in Florida, and I asked the dealer to check the front if one is there because it was not listed on the original window sticker that I had a copy of. He said he couldnt see it, but i dont think he know what he was looking for. Please tell me it is standard on an 05 Excursion Eddie Bauer with the 6.0L!!! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Carl Campbell
If they followed the truck protocol, after a certain year the engine has the heater, but no cord was installed except if the truck was headed for a known colder climate.
Heater should be standard. May not have the cord. A friend of mine got this cord for his truck off ebay. Really good quality. Follow link below. Ford 7.3 6.0 6.4 L Powerstroke Diesel Block Heater Cord | eBay
Mine is from Florida and did not have it listed on the window sticker. The cord should be there, I believe 06 was when they stopped putting the cord on as standard.
Thanks for the answers guys and especially that link. Much appreciated!
Block heater on 05 Excursion I too have a 05 Excursion and based on several posts it appears that all the 6.0s are equipped with block heaters. What you will not have however is the cord that connects to the heater and runs out to the front bumper. The cords are available on Amazon for under $20. Just search for ford 6.0 block heater cord. Installation is fairly straight forward. You will need a piece of stiff wire ( coat hanger or piece of electric fence wire). I used fence wire since the wire was small enough to fit in the small holes in the electrical plug prong. Snake the wire in from underneath the front bumper on the passenger side over the engine cross member. Be careful not to contact the battery lead attached to the starter. The block heater is located on the passenger side of the engine just behind the engine cross member (near starter). The heater cord has a 90 degree boot, spray on a little silicon or WD40 and push the boot into the block heater, hand tighten the nut and you are ready to pull the remainder of the cord to the front of the vehicle. I bent a small hook on the wire, hooked it through the plug prong and taped to provide a smooth transition when pulling the cord forward. Once the cord is pulled through towards the bumper, I continued to snake to wire through the tow hook holes and then routed to the center of the bumper. Good luck with the install.
