Nissan Stadium , home to the Tennessee Titans, also hosts various concerts and events throughout the year.

Located in Nashville, Tennessee, the stadium can accommodate over 69,000 spectators, making it an exciting place to experience live entertainment. As with any large venue, getting to Nissan Stadium can be a challenge, especially for first-time visitors.

This quick guide is designed to help you navigate your way to the stadium with ease, providing valuable tips for choosing the best mode of transportation, finding parking, and knowing what to expect upon arrival.

Several transportation options are available for those attending events at Nissan Stadium, including driving, public transit, walking, or biking.

Each option has its advantages and drawbacks, and your choice may depend on factors such as distance, convenience, and cost.

Additionally, accessible transportation options are available for those with mobility impairments, ensuring everyone can enjoy their time at Nissan Stadium.

This article will delve deeper into the various methods of getting to Nissan Stadium, discuss parking options and rates, as well as provide helpful tips to make your journey as smooth as possible.

With proper planning and a solid understanding of your transportation options, you’ll be well on your way to enjoying your event without worrying about logistics.

Key Takeaways

Public transit options, driving and parking, nashville mta, regional transportation authority, ada parking, shuttle services, arriving early, checking event schedule.

  • Choose the ideal transportation method for getting to Nissan Stadium based on distance, cost, and convenience.
  • Explore parking options, including nearby lots and public transit, to ensure a hassle-free arrival.
  • Familiarize yourself with accessible transportation options and helpful travel tips for a seamless experience.

Choosing Your Mode of Transportation

When planning your visit to Nissan Stadium in Nashville, there are various options available for reaching your destination.

Nissan Stadium is well-connected to public transportation, allowing visitors to easily access the venue without relying on a personal vehicle.

The WeGo Transit Line 23 bus operates between Central 4th Ave – Bay 24 and S 1st St & Woodland St Nb, with travel time typically around 9 minutes.

Tickets cost between $1 and $2, providing an affordable and efficient means of reaching the stadium.

For those who prefer to drive, Nissan Stadium offers convenient parking options and easy access to nearby highways.

When approaching the stadium from I-65/I-24, use Exit 48 (James Robertson Parkway/State Capitol) and turn right onto Woodland Street. Next, turn right on S. 2nd Street, and Lot E will be on your right.

An alternative route is to follow Shelby Avenue to S. 2nd Street, turning left onto Russell Street, and then making a right onto S. 1st Street, with Lot E also on your right.

It’s helpful to familiarize yourself with these routes beforehand to minimize any potential delays in your trip.

It is crucial to consider potential traffic and parking constraints on event days when planning your trip.

Remember to arrive early to secure a parking spot and allow ample time for navigating to the stadium.

By choosing the appropriate mode of transportation and planning accordingly, visitors can ensure a hassle-free experience when attending events at Nissan Stadium.

Arriving by Train or Bus

To reach Nissan Stadium via Nashville’s public transportation, you can take advantage of the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) buses. The Line 23 bus is a convenient option that connects travelers from Central 4th Ave (Bay 24) to S 1st St & Woodland St Nb, which is located near the stadium.

The Line 23 bus runs frequently, and the trip only takes about 9 minutes. The cost for a ride on the MTA bus is between $1 and $2.

There are other bus lines that can take you close to the stadium as well. Plan your trip and check the schedules on the Nashville MTA website for the most up-to-date information.

If you’re not in downtown Nashville and are coming from other parts of the region, the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) offers bus services connecting surrounding cities to the city center.

The RTA buses provide a convenient and accessible way to travel, especially if you’re coming from places like Murfreesboro or Gallatin.

Once you arrive in downtown Nashville, you can either walk or transfer to a Nashville MTA bus, like the Line 23 mentioned above, to get to Nissan Stadium.

Remember to plan your trip in advance and review the schedules and fares of RTA buses on their website. This will help ensure a smooth and timely journey to the stadium.

Walking or Biking to Nissan Stadium

Nissan Stadium, located in Nashville, Tennessee, is an accessible venue for walkers and bikers. If you’re looking to go green and avoid traffic while attending an event at the stadium, walking or biking is an excellent option.

The stadium is situated approximately a mile from downtown Nashville, making it a manageable distance for walkers and bikers alike.

To reach the venue on foot or by bicycle, you can use the Woodland Street Bridge.

Although this bridge is not a pedestrian-only option, it does feature sidewalks that allow for safe passage.

Another alternative for pedestrians is the pedestrian-only bridge situated between Woodland Street and Korean Veterans Blvd. This option is especially convenient if you are staying or coming from Church, Union, or Deadrick areas of the city.

When traveling by bike, consider using the bike-friendly streets and bike lanes present throughout the city.

Remember to follow all traffic rules and ensure your bike is equipped with the necessary safety gear, such as lights and a helmet. You may also use the area’s local bike-share program, which provides convenient access to bicycles for rent.

In conclusion, walking or biking to Nissan Stadium is a viable and eco-friendly option that allows you to enjoy Nashville’s sights while avoiding traffic congestion.

Just plan your route, wear comfortable shoes or gear up your bike, and enjoy the journey to the event.

Accessible Transportation Options

Nissan Stadium, home to the Tennessee Titans and various events throughout the year, provides various accessible transportation options for attendees with disabilities to ensure a comfortable experience.

There are more than 100 accessible parking spaces available at the stadium. To use one of these ADA-compliant parking spaces, attendees must have a parking pass issued by the Titans and a disabled parking permit or license plate.

Standard parking rates apply and vary according to the event. Keep in mind that on-site parking might not be available for Titans games, so plan accordingly.

At the moment, specific shuttle services catering to attendees with disabilities are not mentioned in the provided search results.

However, there are alternative transportation options like public buses that run between Downtown Nashville and Nissan Stadium.

One recommended option is the Line 23 bus from Central 4th Ave – Bay 24 to S 1st St & Woodland St Nb.

The bus ride takes approximately 9 minutes and costs $1 – $2. You can compare ticket prices and travel times on Rome2Rio’s travel planner.

It is important to check whether the buses are equipped with accessible features, such as wheelchair ramps or priority seating, to accommodate different needs.

Remember to always research and plan your trip in advance to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience at Nissan Stadium.

Helpful Travel Tips

It’s a great idea to arrive early at Nissan Stadium for events to ensure a smooth experience. If you’re planning to park at Nissan Stadium, consider arriving 2 hours early .

If possible, walk across the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge to a corner where traffic is less congested. This early arrival not only allows you to secure a parking spot but also gives you ample time to explore the area and find your seats.

Furthermore, guests can reserve cash lots in advance or pay the day of the event. For events that offer parking passes, these can be purchased online via the Nissan Stadium Ticket Office.

Before you head to the stadium, it’s essential to check the event schedule for any changes. This includes any updates related to parking or the availability of specific lots.

Moreover, ensure you’re informed about Nissan Stadium’s COVID-19 protocols and safety restrictions. All visitors are expected to adhere to these regulations for a safe and enjoyable experience.

Remember that the stadium has a clear bag policy in place. If you bring a bag, make sure it’s a clear one that is 12″ x 12″ x 6″ or under. Non-transparent bags must be 5.5″ x 8.5″ or under, even if you intend to carry them within your clear bag. Abiding by these guidelines will make your visit to Nissan Stadium smoother and hassle-free.

I reserved 2-25 passenger vans for shuttle service from the Sheraton Downtown Nashville to Titan Stadium. We had approximately 80 people from our conference that were attending the reception. I explained when making the reservation and confirmed the day of the reception that the vans would be on site to take attendees back to the hotel and was told yes, they would be at the parking lot during the reception. When they picked us up from the hotel, they took us to the stadium and I told them the parking lot that we needed to be taken to, where we had been instructed to enter the stadium. He didn't listen to me and made several phone calls, then finally called a contact of his at the stadium who told him the same thing I did. They drove around the stadium and still did not drop us at the correct parking lot. When attendees were ready to leave, the vans were no where to be found and I had to call the shuttle office to ask them to come back. A month before the event, I was emailed an invoice and credit card authorization which I completed and sent back to them. That was on 9/3/21. I received an email from them on 10/26/21 (after the event) that I needed to complete the credit card authorization and pay them. I forwarded the email with the completed authorization that I had sent on 9/3/21. I again received an email on 11/3 asking the same thing. I again forwarded the authorization to them. Today, 12/10/21, I received 2 emails asking me to send payment for the invoice. I checked with our accounting department, there had been no charge submitted. I called the shuttle service and she said she had not received any of my emails. I have not received any notifications that my emails were not delivered. Mailed her a check. Will not use them again.

Not reliable. At least not for me. Did not pick me up at scheduled time from the airport. I called and called to get no answer from main number. Finally hopped in a cab. Their driver called my home phone not my cell 45 minutes late telling me they were coming... I explained they were too late after they reached me on my cell later. I called the main number for a refund and they hung up on me. Really?!?! When I called back for refund they told me to send an email to explain... Really?! I will definitely use another option for return trip.

I used In Shuttle to get from the Airport to Scarritt Bennett. I was able to make my reservation less than 24 hours in advance and even received a receipt and confirmation e-mailed to me immediately after I booked. While the ride is shared, I only paid $11.00 for the ride. Their services are available fom 6:00 am to 12:00 pm. A taxi would have cost $25.00 and I definitely was not in any hurry since I was way early. Scaritt Bennett even has a link on its website for In Shuttle and not for any other shuttle service.

tennessee titans travel bus

Booked an 8.30AM pickup for the airport online 3 days in advance...20 minutes later no sign of the shuttle. I called the office number they gave me in my confirmation email 3 times, and it sent me to a voicemail. Eventually the shuttle driver called me to say they'd be "about 15 more minutes" - i.e. 45 minutes later than when I'd originally made the booking for. They're lucky I wasn't cutting it too fine for my flight. I should've just booked a cab rather than wait for them. It kind of undermines the entire point of booking a departure time, doesn't it?

Photo of TJ I.

Most unprofessional thing I've seen in a long time. Driver was reading a clipboard and texting as he was driving us down the interstate and swerving all over 3 lanes. When we asked him to pay attention to the road, he cursed us and said we could get off his bus.... We did. The company did send another driver to pick us up, but if they can't screen their staff better the first time around, they won't be getting my business again.

Photo of C. C.

Called to confirm reservation and was answered by someone very rude and unprofessional. Highly NOT recommend. Was completely rude for beginning to end.

Photo of Alex P.

InShuttle is pretty awesome! You just book online and you can selection a location out of Nashville hotels, condos/ apartments, colleges/ universities or Scarritt-Bennett. One way ranges from $11-14. And they will bring you to the airport or bus station. Note that starting January 1, 2014, you have to make reservations 12 hours in advance. If you find yourself in a bind, there is always the GrayLine Airport Express. I definitely like that they will come directly to you, but its annoying to have to give advanced notice. I guess 12 hours is fair though...

Dear Fellow Yelpers: I don't know what has happened in the past. Just know, that in my twenty five years experience in the entertainment industry, this is one of the most professional, efficient, well orchestrated transportation companies I have dealt with. Richard, Marietta, Teresa, Marcus and my driver Tom Brown were available, answered all my questions and delivered excellent customer service. I had A-list, V.I.P.'s coming into town, eleven of them on the same flight and I needed to have them picked up at BNA and delivered to two different hotels. I called many times, as I have not used this service before, and I was concerned about my passengers, and yes, Richard can be direct. As in, "you are making this too complicated, this is what we do, we will handle it". And, yes, I could not believe they were going to make my life so easy with this transportation issue. I had eleven passengers on a 2:35 PM Southwest flight, and at 2:30 PM, I got a call from my driver, Tom Brown, assuring me he was at BNA waiting for them. We actually sent a rep down to meet our group and take them to InShuttle, now I know we did need to do that, InShuttle had it all under control. I highly recommend InShuttle, they can handle single reservations, or a group such as mine. If you are doing a conference or a convention, please consider them They also offer transportation for the Titan games. Go Titans. Best regards, Highly Satisfied Customer

Photo of Bob D.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My daughter is now stranded in the Nashville airport because of them. We have a 6pm pick-up time scheduled and I called them this morning to let them know her flight wouldn't land until 6:15 and we needed to change the pick-up to 6:30. They arrived at 6 anyway and called her 3 times (while her plane was still in the air) and then left at 6:20. When I called and asked for help or my money back the owner of the company got rude, told me "he would give me $20 to get off his phone" and then hung up on me. Do not use this company EVER.

Photo of Jerome R.

Driver was texting while driving down the highway not looking up at all. When asked to please stop and look at the road he aggressively started cussing us out and put us out at a McDonalds. When calling them to report the issues the staff was extremely unhelpful and unconcerned. Not a professional service!

Don't want to drive to Tennessee Titans playoff game? Bus ride from Columbia, Williamson County an option

tennessee titans travel bus

Clyde VanTassell has big plans for his tour bus company, Do South Tours, on Saturday when the Tennessee Titans host the Cincinnati Bengals in an AFC divisional round playoff game at Nissan Stadium.

VanTassell plans to offer a tour bus to go to Nashville for the game and surrounding activities for those not wanting to drive.

VanTassell's plan includes three pickup locations: 1 p.m. at Tenn Pin Alley in Columbia, 1:30 p.m. Kroger Marketplace in Thompson's Station and 2 p.m. at Kroger in Franklin on Highway 96. There will be 46 seats available for $30 per seat.

The game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. The pickup time will be soon after the game ends.

"We'll get everyone downtown for the playoffs, it will be exciting because you never know who you are going to see," VanTassell said. "Even if people don't have tickets to the game, we just want to get people down there to have a good time."

To schedule a spot on the bus, go to  dosouthtours.simplybook.me or call 931-374-6123.

Do South Tours is based in Columbia and has done work with other local events, including First Friday, Monster Truck Jam, Nashville Predators hockey games, Christmas light tours and Vintage Winery.

VanTassell has local plans to support Maury County teams. VanTassell wants to take the buses to football games in the fall to get the community involved.

"The previous owner before did some high school games and provided transportation to those games for fans and parents. We want to bring that back and do regional transportation for those games," VanTassell said.

He also mentioned how Do South Tours could be an asset for staff and students as well.

"When the team needs a ride, we can provide that for them as well. We use to have the big Bluebird bus. There were out of town games where they did not have a bus and couldn't get a bus. I know our company did that in the past so we can do that too," VanTassell said.

Projecting Tennessee Titans 53-man roster: Grading minicamp standouts most likely to make it

tennessee titans travel bus

Minicamp is over, OTAs are almost complete and the Tennessee Titans are just a few days away from embarking on their summer hiatus. So before the team reconvenes in July for training camp , let's take another swing at projecting what the 53-man roster will look like come September.

The Titans' roster is hardly set in stone . Four of the 53 players who made the team to start 2023 weren't added until July or August. Safety, running back and outside linebacker are among the positions where finding extra depth feels realistic.

But for now, based on the 89 players on the offseason roster, here is The Tennessean's projection for which 53 will make the team out of camp.

ESTES: Titans aren't concerned about L'Jarius Sneed missing practice. Should they be?

Quarterbacks (3): Will Levis, Mason Rudolph, Malik Willis

It's plausible that the Titans could add another passer for camp to compete with Willis. But until that happens, expect all three quarterbacks to stick around and remain on the active roster.

All things Titans: Latest Tennessee Titans news, schedule, roster, stats, injury updates and more.

Running backs (3): Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears, Hassan Haskins

Undrafted free agent backs Jabari Small and Dillon Johnson haven't shown enough yet in OTAs to unseat Haskins for a third running back spot. They should be in the mix along with veteran Julius Chestnut for practice squad spots, but this is the offensive position group with the least certain depth outside of the two starters.

RB OR KR? Why Titans running back Tony Pollard is loving new NFL kickoff rules, wants chance as returner

Wide receivers (6): DeAndre Hopkins, Calvin Ridley, Tyler Boyd, Treylon Burks, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Jha'Quan Jackson

Expect Colton Dowell to start the year on the physically unable to perform list, which makes the final few spots a tight competition between Westbrook-Ikhine, Jackson, Kyle Philips, Kearis Jackson and Mason Kinsey. Ultimately, Jackson's upside and Westbrook-Ikhine's experience are the deciding factors.

Tight ends (3): Chig Okonkwo, Josh Whyle, Nick Vannett

Maybe this is the year Thomas Odukoya makes the jump from practice squad to active roster. But short of that sort of development in training camp, these are the three names to consider.

Offensive line (9): JC Latham, Peter Skoronski, Lloyd Cushenberry III, Saahdiq Charles, Daniel Brunskill, Nicholas Petit-Frere, Dillon Radunz, Leroy Watson, Jaelyn Duncan

There's a lot more depth here than the Titans have had the past two years. John Ojukwu could very easily beat out Radunz, Duncan or Watson for the ninth spot, or the Titans could keep 10 linemen. Any way you slice it, this group is a notable improvement over 2023.

Interior defensive line (5): Jeffery Simmons, T'Vondre Sweat, Sebastian Joseph-Day, Keondre Coburn, Marlon Davidson

Simmons is the only carryover from the opening week roster of 2023, but the Titans have reloaded with a number of big, versatile, powerful space eaters.

Outside linebackers (4): Harold Landry III, Arden Key, Rashad Weaver, Jaylen Harrell

Harrell, the rookie seventh-round pick, gets the nod over returners like Caleb Murphy and Thomas Rush. This is certainly a position where it would make sense for the Titans to add another veteran in July or August.

Inside linebackers (6): Kenneth Murray II, Jack Gibbens, Cedric Gray, Chance Campbell, Luke Gifford, James Williams

Gifford and Campbell make the squad by virtue of their skills on special teams. Otis Reese IV is on the fringe with those guys; he proved last year he's a resource. After Murray, Gibbens and Gray, no one feels like a lock yet.

Cornerbacks (8): L'Jarius Sneed, Chidobe Awuzie, Roger McCreary, Tre Avery, Eric Garror, Caleb Farley, Jarvis Brownlee Jr., Gabe Jeudy-Lally

Undrafted rookie Gabe Jeudy-Lally has positioned himself to make the roster better than any other undrafted free agent. Farley's journey back to the active roster will be a long one and is no guarantee, but for now the Titans bet on his talent, and save the money on his contract by not waiving the former first-round pick.

CB TALK: Big changes are in the works for Tennessee Titans defense — and it starts at one key spot

Safeties (3): Amani Hooker, Elijah Molden, Mike Brown

Another spot where depth concerns keep the room a little bit light. Adding another body here can change the numbers at safety and corner. For now, though, the three holdovers from last year's squad stick around.

Special teams (3): Nick Folk, Ty Zentner, Morgan Cox

In the event punter Ryan Stonehouse can't make his way back from injury in time for the start of the season, Folk, Zentner and Cox are the trio that sticks around.

32 Teams in 32 Days: It’s a Make-or-Break Season for Titans QB Will Levis

Will Levis could be headed toward a make-or-break 2024 season after the many offseason moves the Tennessee Titans made to recover from their dismal 6–11 record last season.

It’s a new era in Tennessee with Mike Vrabel, Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill no longer around, but the organization appears optimistic about Levis being around for the long haul. They probably wouldn’t have splurged as much as they did in free agency had they not believed in the second-year quarterback.

The Titans provided Levis with a new wide receiver in Calvin Ridley, a new left tackle in rookie JC Latham and many other key offensive weapons. Most importantly, the Titans hired coach Brian Callahan, the offensive guru who helped Cincinnati Bengals coach Zac Taylor build a dynamic scheme for Joe Burrow.

These moves clearly show the Titans were impressed with what Levis displayed in nine games after the 2023 second-round pick replaced Tannehill as the starter.

The Titans also aggressively pursued L’Jarius Sneed in free agency to be their shutdown cornerback and help the defense get on the right track this year.

Biggest gamble this offseason: Going all in during free agency

The Titans spent more than $310 million in free agency, second most in the NFL, according to Over the Cap. On offense, Levis will have many new teammates, including center Lloyd Cushenberry III, running back Tony Pollard, Ridley and Tyler Boyd. For the defense, Tennessee traded draft picks, including a 2025 third-rounder, to the Kansas City Chiefs for Sneed, who quickly signed a four-year, $76.4 million extension with the Titan.

That’s a lot of moving parts in Callahan’s first season as a head coach. Bad teams that splurge in free agency for the quick fix often regret many of their big-name signings, but perhaps the Titans will have better success because of their strengths on the offensive and defensive lines. They drafted Latham in the first round and defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat in the second round to pair with veteran Jeffery Simmons. If Levis quickly grasps Callahan’s offense and the rookie head coach gets everyone on the same page, perhaps these moves pay off to get the rebuild headed in the right direction.

Toughest stretch of the season: Weeks 4 to 8

The Titans caught a break with an early bye week because they might be underdogs for the first seven games of the season. After matchups against the Chicago Bears (on the road), New York Jets and Green Bay Packers, the Titans travel to face the Miami Dolphins in Week 4. They then get a bye week before returning to face Anthony Richardson and the Indianapolis Colts at home. The gauntlet concludes with back-to-back road games against the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions. Perhaps the Titans can steal a game or two to start the season, and it helps that they face the Colts after a bye week.

Breakout player to watch: RB Tyjae Spears

Spears could lose carries with the arrival of Pollard, but judging from how well he played in a limited role as a rookie, it would not be surprising to see Spears as the lead back. In Cincinnati, the Bengals’ rushing attack was at its best with the tandem of Joe Mixon and Samaje Perine, who was the change-of-pace back. Pollard struggled to be the workhorse for the Dallas Cowboys in 2023 and could flourish returning to the role of a third-down back who can contribute in the passing game. Spears didn’t get many carries playing behind Henry, but the 2023 third-round pick learned from one of the best when it comes to running between the tackles.

Best-case scenario: Levis flourishes in new scheme

Levis should benefit from having a stout offensive line featuring Latham, Cushenberry, left guard and 2023 first-round pick Peter Skoronski, and rising right tackle Dillon Radunz. With extra time to throw, Levis could let his reads develop—and he can always lean on his athleticism if he takes too long to react to coverages.

Obviously, the Titans want Callahan to build an offense resembling what he created for Burrow. But the Titans have the personnel to continue being a physical offense, only with more versatility than what they had with Henry doing the bulk of the work. The Titans could become a nightmare for opposing defenses, who will have to deal with physical jump-ball specialists Ridley and DeAndre Hopkins, a strong offensive line and a dynamic rushing duo of Spears and Pollard.

Worst-case scenario: Titans regret Ridley, Sneed additions

The Titans drew criticism for signing Ridley to a four-year, $92 million contract as heads into his age-30 season. It doesn’t help that he had an up-and-down lone season with the Jacksonville Jaguars and his skill set is similar to Hopkins’s. The trade for Sneed is also risky because he won’t have as much help as he did with the Chiefs. Sneed will need to prove that he’s more than just a cornerback who benefited from Steve Spagnuolo’s defensive scheme.

If Ridley is running the wrong routes and Sneed is getting torched in coverage, it could be a long few years for the Titans to recover from the lucrative contracts they handed them this offseason. But it bodes well that Ridley stepped up for the Jaguars in the final weeks of the regular season and Sneed thrived while defending teams’ top wideouts on a weekly basis.

Head coach-quarterback tandem ranking

No. 29: Brian Callahan (30) and Will Levis (24)

After helping the Bengals reach consecutive AFC championship games in 2021 and ’22, Callahan now takes over a Titans roster teeming with talent. The big question is whether Levis is more stopgap or savior. In his rookie season, the second-rounder threw for 1,808 yards and eight touchdowns in nine starts. — Matt Verderame

Sleeper fantasy pick: Levis

The Titans brought in a new offensive-minded head coach, and added Pollard, Ridley and Boyd to an offense that already has Hopkins and Spears. Now, the ball is in Levis’s court to make good on his talent and take advantage of what could be a loaded offense. He has sleeper-breakout potential in the fantasy football world. — Michael Fabiano

Best bet: Tony Pollard under 6.5 rushing TDs (-145) at DraftKings

Maybe I am a jaded Cowboys fan, but Pollard has only exceeded this TD prop once in his career—and it wasn’t last season when he had career-high 252 rushing attempts and a career-low yards per attempt (4.0). Throw Spears into the mix and add in that the Titans have loaded up on talented receivers, and the under looks like the better play. — Jennifer Piacenti
