Alaska cruise Viking. Review of Inside Passage. Reviewed August 19, 2019. The inside passage is well worth taking with the most beautiful scenery on display! Try to take a cruise that takes you to the Hubbard Glacier and also gives you an option for the boat trip to the Columbia Glacier. Out trip with Viking was a beautiful trip on ship.

Following the cruise we had a 6-day trip into the interior of Alaska to see places we were not able to on a cruise up the coast. . . . The whole 6-day trip was organized by Viking and up to their usual extremely high standard. We already have another cruise booked for January 2020, and that will be our 12th Viking cruise.

Our cruise departs in May which is only 9 months out and not 12 months. The late release of even detailed info about shore excursions is probably my one negative towards Viking. And being the very first Alaska Viking Cruise I cant even see reviews from others. Viking offer free excursions so you don't necessarily have to pay.

Posted February 16, 2022. We will be taking a Viking cruise on Orion on 6/12/22 from Vancouver. This will be our third cruise to Alaska, spectacular scenery to say the least. We too have sailed on Celebrity many times and have been on one previous Viking cruise. I think a smaller ship for Alaska is better.
