Aespa, the world famous K-pop quartet has just revealed details about the Asian and Australian segments of their upcoming global tour, titled SYNK: Parallel Line . Scheduled to commence in late June, the tour is set to traverse through 11 cities in Asia, with multiple stops in Japan and Southeast Asia. Moreover, the tour will go on till late September, with Thailand being the final stop.

To celebrate their second studio album Born to Be , ITZY is set to embark on an extensive world tour in 2024 . Commencing this February in Seoul, the girl group will weave through numerous Asian cities. The tour will then extend to Oceania, North America, and Europe from February to August.

NCT 127 is set to embark on the Asian segment of their Neo City– The Unity world tour, with a series of dates now confirmed. The tour commenced with a spectacular six-concert kick-off in Seoul, and the group is scheduled to tour Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Macau from January, until March.

NCT Dream is scheduled to go on The Dream Show 3 world tour, unveiling a string of performances across Asia. The tour is scheduled to kick off officially in May, treating fans to concerts in seven countries across the continent- South Korea, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, China, and Singapore- with the musical journey wrapping up in August.

The SHINee World VI: Perfect Illumination tour by K-pop veterans SHINee which kicked off in June 2023, will be expanding beyond Korean and Japanese borders in 2024. After a series of additional Tokyo performances in February, the legendary boy band is set to make its mark in Singapore and Hong Kong come March.

Baekhyun, the vocalist of EXO, is set to embark on an expansive solo world tour, featuring an extensive Asian leg. Commencing in Seoul this March, the Lonsdaleite tour will then sweep through East and Southeast Asia in the subsequent months, promising a musical journey like never before. The Asian leg of the tour is scheduled to occur from March, until June.

Leading up to her album release, IU unveiled her monumental first world tour. The songstress is set to commence the tour with two weekends in Seoul before moving on to Yokohama, Taipei, Singapore, Jakarta, and Hong Kong in the ensuing months. In addition to performing in Europe and the United States, IU will make stops in Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Osaka during her international concert series. The tour will run from March to July.

After their successful Prom Queens Asia tour in 2023 and the launch of the EP I’VE MINE , the sensational rookie girl group IVE is embarking on its first world tour. This six-member group will kick off the tour in Asia from January to late August, expanding their reach to other countries in Asia, as well as North and South America, and Europe.

Following the successful completion of their original 20 tour dates, which included performances in the Philippines and Macau in 2023, SEVENTEEN has delighted fans by revealing an additional leg of their Follow tour. The encore performances in Incheon, Osaka, and Yokohama serve as a heartfelt “token of gratitude” towards their fans, and are scheduled for March and May.

The tour is scheduled for May and June 2024, featuring dynamic performances in cities like Manila, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. This follows their successful 2023 Hello tour, where they enthralled audiences in Taipei, Singapore, and various other cities.

K-Pop Summer 2024 Guide: ATEEZ, IU, TXT & More Live In Concert & On Tour

Whether you want to have your Head in the Clouds, go over the moon at KCON or head Towards the Light, plan out your summer with these K-pop events and tours featuring TWICE, LE SSERAFIM, Stray Kids and more.

2024 has had a handful of memorable K-pop moments in North America so far. From boy group ONEUS's La Dolce Vita tour to TWICE 's one-night-only show at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium in March, the industry has kept a steady flow of entertainment for lovers of Korean music and culture. Last month, ATEEZ , LE SSERAFIM , and indie band The Rose also left their mark at Coachella Festival in California, proving that K-pop acts at major festivals are a rising trend.

With summer right around the corner, even more tours, festivals, and conventions are set to pop up across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. From mid-May to September, whether on weekdays or weekends, there will always be something to do or someone to see. Among the most-awaited events are singer IU 's first world tour and ATEEZ's massive trek in July, as well as Stray Kids , IVE , and VCHA 's performances at Chicago's Lollapalooza Festival.

To help you enjoy the most out of this busy season, GRAMMY.com assembled a list of all the K-pop concerts and events happening in the next few months below.

CIX: 0 or 1 in North America

Boy group CIX will be back in North America for their third tour this May. Named after single album 0 or 1 , the stint will cover eight cities across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, starting in Chicago, IL and wrapping it up in Los Angeles, CA. The quintet will likely perform hits like "Cinema" and "Movie Star," as well as their latest single, "Lovers or Enemies," and celebrate their upcoming fifth anniversary.

Head in the Clouds Festival

Forest Hills, New York

Following the success of last year's edition in Queens, New York, Head in the Clouds Festival returns to the big apple in 2024. In their mission to spread Asian diaspora talent, the lineup for this year enlists (G)I-DLE to headline on Saturday and singer BIBI on Sunday, along other names like ATARASHII GAKKO! and Joji. Korean acts Balming Tiger, Wave to Earth, and newcomer girl group Young Posse will also join them. HITC Festival is usually based in Los Angeles, but this year's L.A. edition has yet to be announced.

BM (KARD): After the After Party Tour

Hailing from co-ed group KARD , Korean-American singer BM will kick off his first U.S. solo tour in mid-May. After the After Party Tour was inspired by the track "ATAP (After the After Party)," off his December single album, Lowkey . BM will perform in six cities across the country, including Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. He also teased an EP soon, and stated that he will be "taking new music on this tour."

P1Harmony: P1ustage H : UTOP1A Tour

May 14 - Jun. 16

Boy band P1Harmony is also returning to North America with their third tour, P1ustage H: UTOP1A. Beginning in Houston, TX, on May 14, it will follow with shows in Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, and more — including a prestigious performance on June 8 at New York City's Governors Ball Music Festival 2024 . The sextet released their first studio album, Killin' It , in February of this year.

Tomorrow X Together (TXT): ACT : PROMISE World Tour

May 14 - Jun. 8

A TXT tour in the U.S. has become an annual event: following 2022's ACT : LOVESICK and 2023's ACT : SWEET MIRAGE, 2024 welcomes ACT : PROMISE. Featuring 11 shows across the country, the boy group will play in Houston, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and more. They will also perform two nights at New York's legendary Madison Square Garden before heading to the Japanese leg of the tour in July.

Wheein (MAMAMOO): Whee In The Mood [Beyond] World Tour

May 17 - Jun. 4

Powerhouse vocalists MAMAMOO hit stateside last year with their MY CON World Tour, a first for the group. Now, it's member Wheein's turn to celebrate her solo career with Whee In The Mood [Beyond] World Tour, inspired by her first LP, 2023's In The Mood . After a slew of shows in Asia and Europe, the singer will head to San Francisco, CA, for the first out of eight concerts in the U.S. Other cities include Dallas, Orlando, Los Angeles, and New York.

RIIZE: RIIZING Day Fan-Con World Tour

Los Angeles, California

SM Entertainment's freshest rookies RIIZE announced their first fan-con, RIIZING Day, to take place from May to August in various cities across the globe. After playing in Seoul, Tokyo, and Mexico City, the boyband will come to Los Angeles for a single performance at the Peacock Theater on May 20. RIIZE are expected to play their compact yet dynamic discography, including singles "Get A Guitar," "Talk Saxy," and "Impossible."

Purple Kiss: 2024 BXX Tour

June 2 - July 2

It's not even been a year since Purple Kiss toured the U.S. with their The Festa Tour in fall 2023, but they're already gearing to come back. Starting June 2 in Oceanside, CA, the 2024 BXX Tour will take the girl group to seven cities in the U.S. and nine cities in Canada, closing it off in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on July 2. This is a big chance for fans who missed their performances last year, or simply to those who want to see singles like "Zombie" and "Sweet Juice" live again.

ITZY: Born to Be World Tour

Girl group ITZY has spent the majority of 2024 bringing their second world tour, Born to Be, across Oceania, Asia, Latin America, and Europe. In June, they will finally step in North America for a 10-stop stint, including cities like Seattle, Los Angeles, Newark, Fairfax, Toronto, and more. Despite featuring only four out of five members while vocalist Lia is currently on hiatus due to health reasons, they promise to set the stages on fire with their high-energy discography.

VERIVERY: Go On Fan-meeting Tour

Starting June 14, boyband VERIVERY will kick off their Go On Fan-meeting Tour in New York at Brooklyn Steel. Then, they will head to Chicago, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Fort Worth, and finally Los Angeles for a last performance at Vermont Hollywood. The seven-member group is currently a quartet, as member Dongheon is currently enlisted in the military, and members Minchan and Hoyoung are on hiatus due to health concerns. VERIVERY's latest release was 2023's EP, Liminality .

A.C.E: 2024 REWIND_US U.S. Tour

Jun. 19 - July 18

February marked the much-anticipated comeback of boy group A.C.E with the EP My Girl: My Choice . It was their first release in three years, and to rejoice further, the quintet announced an extensive 14-date tour throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Starting June 19 in Madison, WI and closing off on July 18 in San Juan, PR, A.C.E will also perform in Los Angeles, Nashville, New York, and more.

HYO: Milwaukee Summerfest

Milwaukee, WI

HYO , also known as Hyoyeon from Girls' Generation, will be showcasing her DJ chops on June 28 at Milwaukee Summerfest. The performance will happen just months after HYO held her 2024 Spring U.S. Tour, Cherry Blossom, which spanned seven cities across the country. In the setlist, fans can expect hits like "Dessert" and "Deep," but also some innovative remixes of other artists' songs, like GALA's "Freed From Desire" and Girls' Generation's "Gee."

AB6IX: Find You Fan Concert Tour

Another boy group to embark on a North American tour this year, AB6IX will bring their Find You Fan Concert across nine stops in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. Starting off in the cities of Toronto and Montreal, they will then head to New York, Mexico City, Miami, Denver, and more, before wrapping it up in Los Angeles. The tour title was inspired by their latest release, January's EP The Future is Ours: Found .

ATEEZ: Towards the Light: Will to Power 2024 World Tour

Jul. 14 - Aug. 11

Performance kings ATEEZ never stop. After the release of their EP, Golden Hour: Part. 1 on May 31, the eight-member group will head to North America for their Towards the Light: Will to Power 2024 World Tour. Kicking off on July 14 in Tacoma, Washington, the boyband will also play in the cities of Los Angeles, Arlington, Washington, D.C., Toronto, New York, and more. The tour supports ATEEZ's December 2023 LP, The World EP.Fin: Will , but hopefully the setlist will include surprises as new music comes out.

IU: HEREH World Tour

Jul. 15 - Aug. 2

One of the most important artists to come from South Korea, IU (born Lee Ji-eun) has been shaping the country's music industry since 2008 with her unique voice, sensitive songwriting, and sharp mind. Given her journey, it's almost absurd that her first world tour is only happening in 2024 — but better late than never. After stops in Asia and Europe, IU will head to the U.S. for six sold-out concerts, beginning on July 15 at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, and concluding on August 2 at Kia Forum in Los Angeles, CA.

The Boyz: Zeneration II World Tour

Following their 2023 Zeneration Tour, which featured 24 stops across Asia, 11-member group The Boyz are now bringing its sequel worldwide. After a 3-day July stint in Seoul, South Korea, the Zeneration II tour will head to the U.S. for five shows in New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, and San Jose. Throughout August, The Boyz will segue onto the Asian leg of the tour, wrapping it up with a few European dates in September.

KCON Los Angeles 2024

Known as the largest Korean culture and music festival in North America, KCON has a decade-long legacy of serving as a bridge for "all things Hallyu." Held at the Los Angeles Convention Center and Crypto.com Arena, the festival includes a two-night concert, fan signings, food and merch stalls, panels with professionals in the industry, and many other attractions. KCON hasn't announced its official lineup yet, but attendees can expect it to maintain the same excellence of past years.

Secret Number: The 1st U.S. Tour 2024 Unlock

Jul. 26 - Aug. 10

Girl group Secret Number debuted amidst the chaos of 2020's COVID-19 pandemic, therefore falling short of live experiences with their fans. As they enter their fourth year together, they will finally meet North American fans with their 2024 Unlock tour this summer. Kicking off on July 26 in Chicago, the sextet will then head to Minneapolis, Charlotte, Houston, Denver, Phoenix, Seattle, and Los Angeles for a final show on August 10.

Stray Kids, IVE, VCHA: Lollapalooza Chicago 2024

K-pop's presence on Lollapalooza continues to expand. This year, Stray Kids is set to headline on Friday, Aug. 2, alongside singer SZA . It's the boyband's second appearance at the festival, following their 2023 show at Lollapalooza Paris. On that same day, U.S.-based, K-pop-trained girl group VCHA, formed by JYP Entertainment in partnership with Republic Records, will also make their first performance at the festival. To close it off, Saturday will feature the captivating girl group IVE.

I.M (Monsta X): Off The Beat 2024 World Tour

Monsta X 's maknae (youngest member) I.M has been building a prolific solo career while his teammates are enlisted in the military. Accompanying his third EP, Off The Beat , the singer announced an eponymous world tour, featuring 19 stops in Asia, North America, and Europe. He will play seven dates In the U.S. and two in Canada, including New York, Boston, Toronto, and more.

ARTMS: 2024 Moonshot World Tour

Aug. 16 - Sept. 10

Formed by five LOONA members (Kim Lip, Choerry, JinSoul, HaSeul, and HeeJin), girl group ARTMS was one of 2023's most-awaited debuts. Their first studio album, Devine All Love & Live , is set to drop on May 31, and the quintet will celebrate with a string of concerts across South Korea, Japan, and the U.S. Starting August 16 in New York, the tour will cross Atlanta, Orlando, Los Angeles, and more cities before wrapping up on September 10 in Chicago.

The ABCDs Of Nayeon: How The TWICE Member Embraced Her Authenticity On ‘NA’

With her second solo release, K-pop idol Im Nayeon is unapologetically confident and boldly experimental. Out June 14, 'NA' contains English and Korean language tracks alongside collaborations with prominent Korean artists.

K-pop idol Im Nayeon is a pioneer with many firsts attached to her name: She was the first to become a member of TWICE , the first from the group to go solo, and was the first-ever K-pop soloist to enter the Billboard Top 10. Now, Nayeon is the first member of TWICE to release a second solo album. 

Nearly two years after her solo debut, Nayeon arrives with a new mini-album, NA —  the title a play on her name and the Korean word for "me." The seven-track record highlights the singer’s unapologetic nature, exploring themes of self-confidence, romance, and tenacity. Nayeon has certainly had to be tenacious in her road to the new EP.

"I don’t know if you can tell, but I really can’t believe that this moment is [finally] happening," Nayeon tells GRAMMY.com. " I really wanted to showcase myself as a confident woman this time around."

NA contains a mix of English and Korean language tracks alongside collaborations with prominent Korean artists. Throughout, the singer tackles pop, R&B, dance and electro-pop with ease. Lead single "ABCD" takes inspiration from 2000s era pop divas, adding hints of hip-hop as Nayeon teaches the A-Zs of love with witty lyrics and a magnetizing rhythm. While Nayeon has previously sung about love with flirtatious undertones, "ABCD" shows the singer's straightforward intentions. 

It seems becoming a superstar was fated for the Seoul native. When she was young, Nayeon caught the attention of agents at JYP Entertainment from a modeling contest — however, given her age, her mother refused to let her sign with an entertainment agency. At 14, Nayeon defied her mom's decision and snuck out of her home to attend JYPE’s 2010 open casting, where she passed the audition and ranked in second place. With her strong ambition to pursue an idol career, Nayeon decided to join JYPE as a trainee that same year.

After three years of training, she was slated to debut as a member of a girl group 6MIX. However, the debut was scrapped afterJYPE was unable to find replacements for members that exited the project. In 2015, Nayeon was chosen from a pool of trainees to enter JYPE’s survival program "Sixteen," and became the first member chosen for nine-piece girl group TWICE. Nayeon is the group's face, as well as its eldest member, lead vocalist, and dancer. 

Nayeon has since become one of the most recognizable members of TWICE, best known for her impressive vocal range and warm essence. Her public image became the epitome of an animated K-pop idol, always exhibiting her youthful personality and sunny disposition to everyone she encounters. Over the course of nine years together in TWICE and hundreds of releases later, Nayeon has proved herself to be the spine of the global girl group.

Nayeon introduced herself to the world as a soloist in June 2022 with her debut album IM NAYEON , a high-spirited and feel-good summer EP that showcased her perky identity. The album hit No.1 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart — the highest-selling album in the week of its release — and debuted No .7 on the Billboard 200. Lead single "POP!" has since turned into a fan-favorite, and remains a singalong anthem at TWICE’s concerts two years later. 

While IM NAYEON built off her easy going nature, NA will leave fans enamored by Nayeon’s artistic awakening and newly matured chapter in her solo career. The album’s trailer and concept photos unveiled Nayeon’s assured, hip and hot appeal — a side she has yet to show as a soloist. 

GRAMMY.com caught up with Nayeon via Zoom to learn more about the creation of NA , and how the past two years have impacted her as a soloist and individual. 

This interview has been edited for brevity and clarity.

Is there anything that feels different in terms of releasing NA nearly two years after your solo debut album?

Because my first solo album was the first solo work ever done by a member of TWICE, the pressure was pretty high. There was fear in me, as well, to try something completely new. But since [ NA ] is my second album as a soloist, I did [my best] to enjoy the ride more this time around. 

I can't say that I'm completely comfortable right now being a solo artist. But compared to [ IM NAYEON ], I'm much more at ease about it. 

Is there anything new you wanted to showcase this time around in NA ?

The performance for the title song "ABCD" is quite different from what I have typically been showing [as TWICE]. So [in that essence], this is what’s new and challenging for [ NA] .

The performance itself is very powerful, and I wanted to express a bold and cool side of me. Of course, I have shown that side of me [before] during TWICE concerts or performances, but with "ABCD," I want it to be different from [ IM NAYEON ] specifically, which was just a totally different vibe [in comparison]. 

Does it feel easier to showcase this bolder side of yourself now that you've been a soloist for a few years?

Since I have been working as one of the members of TWICE for so long, I think it feels more meaningful if I show a different side of me through my solo work. So [while] it's new and fun, I can't say that it's easier.

I think it'll be fun for our fans. They receive it really well when we show off a different side of [ourselves]. [Our fans] encourage us a lot so I think it's a great change of pace.

You collaborated with a variety of artists on NA , including American singer/songwriter Sam Kim and K-pop artists Lee Chan-hyuk (AKMU) and Julie (KISS OF LIFE). How was that experience for you?

When I work as [TWICE], there are so many of us that it's really hard to collaborate with other artists. We don't really get that opportunity that often. But when it comes to solo work, it's a really fun and rewarding experience to work with many different artists. 

I haven't really gotten the chance to meet and talk with the artists featured on my album, but it was me who initiated the collaboration process. I specifically asked Lee Chanhyuk, Julie, and Sam Kim to collaborate with me. [That] was a really new experience for me and it just felt great.

I’ve been a huge fan of Lee Chanhyuk for a very long time, so that’s why I specifically asked for him to [help produce] in ["HalliGalli"]. For the song "Magic," we were looking for a female rapper and I had my eye on Julie from KISS OF LIFE. After seeing her perform, I loved [her]! So I very strongly suggested my opinion to have her feature with me on this track.

It seems like you’re revealing more of yourself with NA . Would you say that this new album is an extension to IM NAYEON ?

Oh, of course! The concept and overall theme is much different from [ IM NAYEON ]. But since both [albums] focus on me as an artist, I think you can say that some parts are an extension while other parts reveal a different side of me.

Were there any expectations or challenges you faced during the album-making process?

Although "POP!" also featured intense choreography, "ABCD" demands a different kind of expression — prompting me to focus more on the performance aspect. 

Additionally, as this is a solo album, I must exert more energy compared to performing with a group. I have to command the entire stage alone for one song. Consequently, I am somewhat concerned that people may perceive me as exhausted, though I will do my best to prevent that! 

Since the release of IM NAYEON , how have you evolved as a person and an artist?

Many people saw that [ IM NAYEON ] really suited me and my public image. In [NA], I’m revealing a more confident and new side of me. The performance and concept challenged me to evolve [as an artist] in that aspect. 

I have grown a lot as an individual. I released my first solo debut album, and in TWICE, we just completed a huge scale world tour. Next year marks the 10th anniversary for [TWICE] as well. These past few years have been a period of self reflection with the opportunity for [more] growth. 

I have really come to realize why I chose this profession. That realization became a drive as an artist to keep moving forward and improve [upon] myself.

Over the course of your career, are there important lessons or insights you’ve learned?

I think one of the biggest insights I’ve noticed in the past few years is how valuable the members of TWICE are [to me]. There are things that I cannot do alone but am able to do because TWICE are right beside me. I realized that my fears go away when I’m with the TWICE members. I have come to appreciate them even more over the last few years. I realized even more now how important their existence is to me while working as a solo artist. 

It seems as if TWICE are your encouragement and driving force.

Yes, they really are!

As you freshen up your late-spring playlist, don't miss these offerings by artists across generations, moods, genres, and vibes — from K-pop to classic country and beyond.

Eminem — "Houdini"

It looks like Dua Lipa isn't the only artist to name-drop Erik Weisz this year. In a recent Instagram video with magician David Blaine, Eminem hinted at a major career move, quipping, "For my last trick, I'm going to make my career disappear," as Blaine casually noshed on a broken wineglass.

With Em's next album titled The Death of Slim Shady , fans were left in a frenzy — was he putting the mic down for good? If "Houdini" is in fact part of Eminem's final act, it seems he'll be paying homage to his career along the way: the song includes snippets of Em classics "Without Me," "The Real Slim Shady," "Just Lose It" and "My Name Is."

The superhero comic-themed video also calls back to some of the rapper's iconic moments, including the "Without Me" visual and his 2000 MTV Video Music Awards performance. It also features cameos from the likes of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, and Pete Davidson — making for a star-studded thrill ride of a beginning to what may be his end.

Maya Hawke — 'Chaos Angel'

"What the Chaos Angel is to me," Maya Hawke explained in a recent Instagram video , "is an angel that was raised in heaven to believe they're the angel of love, then sent down to do loving duties."

Chaos Angel , the third album by Maya Hawke, out via Mom+Pop Records, is an alt-rock treasure with a psychologically penetrating bent. Smoldering tracks like "Dark" and "Missing Out" plumb themes of betrayal and bedlam masterfully.

Jessie Reyez & Big Sean — "Shut Up"

Before May 31, Jessie Reyez 's 2024 releases have come in the form of airy contributions for Bob Marley: One Love and Rebel Moon . And for the first release of her own, she's bringing the heat.

Teaming up with fellow rapper Big Sean for "Shut Up," Reyez delivers some fiery lines on the thumping track: "They b—es plastic, that b— is a catfish, oh-so dramatic/ And I'm sittin' pretty with my little-ass t—es winnin' pageants." Big Sean throws down, too: "B—, better read the room like you telepromptin'/ And watch how you speak to a n—a 'cause I'm not them."

Foster the People — "Lost In Space"

Indie dance-pop favorites Foster The People — yes, of the once-inescapable "Pumped Up Kicks" fame — are back with their first new music since 2017's Sacred Hearts Club . The teaser for their future-forward, disco-powered new song, "Lost in Space," brings a psychedelic riot of colors to your eyeballs.

The song is equally as trippy. Over a swirling, disco-tinged techno beat, the group bring their signature echoing vocals to the funky track, which feels like the soundtrack to an '80s adventure flick. 

"Lost in Space" is the first taste of Foster The People's forthcoming fourth studio album, Paradise State of Mind , which will arrive Aug. 16. If the lead single is any indication — along with frontman Mark Foster's tease that the album started "as a case study of the late Seventies crossover between disco, funk, gospel, jazz, and all those sounds" — fans are in for quite the psychedelic ride.

Arooj Aftab — 'Night Reign'

Arooj Aftab landed on the scene with the exquisitely blue Vulture Prince , which bridged modern jazz and folk idioms with what she calls " heritage material " from Pakistan and South Asia. The album's pandemic-era success threatened to box her in, though; Aftab is a funny, well-rounded cat who's crazy about pop music, too. Crucially, the guest-stuffed Night Reign shows many more sides of this GRAMMY-winning artist — her sound is still instantly recognizable, but has a more iridescent tint — a well-roundedness. By the strength of songs like "Raat Ki Rani" and "Whiskey," and the patina of guests like Moor Mother and Vijay Iyer , this Reign is for the long haul.

Willie Nelson — 'The Border'

By some counts , Willie Nelson has released more than 150 albums — try and let that soak in. The Red Headed Stranger tends to crank out a Buddy Cannon -produced album or two per year in his autumn years, each with a slight conceptual tilt: bluegrass , family matters , tributes to Harlan Howard or the Great American Songbook . Earthy, muted The Border is another helping of the good stuff — this time homing in on songwriters like Rodney Crowell ("The Border"), Shawn Camp ("Made in Texas") and Mike Reid ("Nobody Knows Me Like You.") Elsewhere, Nelson-Cannon originals like "What If I'm Out of My Mind" and "How Much Does It Cost" fold it all into the 12-time GRAMMY winner's manifold musical universe .

ATEEZ — 'GOLDEN HOUR : Part.1'

South Korean boy band ATEEZ last released new material with late 2023's The World EP.Fin: Will . Now, they're bringing the K-pop fire once again with their 10th mini-album, GOLDEN HOUR  Part.1 .

Released in a rainbow of physical editions , the release was teased by a short clip for "WORK," where ATEEZ pans for gold like old prospectors in an off-kilter desert scene, then proceeds to throw the mother of all parties. As for the rest of GOLDEN HOUR , they bring flavors of reggaeton ("Blind), wavy R&B ("Empty Box") and reggae ("Shaboom") — further displaying their versatility as a group, and setting an exciting stage for Part.2 .

Ayra Starr — 'The Year I Turned 21'

Beninese-Nigerian singer and GRAMMY nominee for Best African Music Performance Ayra Starr pays homage to the big two-one with her second album, The Year I Turned 21 , which she's been teasing all month. We've seen the crimson, windswept cover art ; we've soaked up the 14 track titles , which reveal collaborations with the likes of ASAKE , Anitta , Coco Jones , and Giveon . Now, after small tastes in singles "Commas,""Rhythm & Blues" and "Santa" (with Rvssian and Rauw Alejandro ), we can behold what the "Rush" star has called "excellent, sonically amazing" and "unique, because I've been evolving sonically."

Adam Lambert — "LUBE" & "WET DREAM"

The " American Idol " and Queen + Adam Lambert star is turning heads — for very good reason. He's going to release AFTERS , a new EP of house music and an unflinching exploration of queerness and sex-positivity. "I throw many house parties and my aim was to create a soundtrack inspired by wild nights, giving a voice to our communities' hedonistic desires and exploits," Lambert explained in a press release.

The first two singles, "LUBE" and "WET DREAM," achieve exactly that. From the pulsing beat of "LUBE" (along with the "Move your body like I do" demand of the chorus) to the racing melody of "WET DREAM," it's clear AFTERS will bring listeners straight to a sweaty dance floor — right where Lambert wants them.

Tori Kelly Gets “Unwrapped” For 'TORI' At GRAMMY U Event Showcasing Production & Recording Techniques From Her New Album

The singer stepped out for GRAMMY U's first "Unwrapped" event to give fans a look deep inside her new record, TORI. Joined by producer and collaborator Tenroc, the pair walked guests through the making of several tracks including "missin u" and "oceans."

GRAMMY U  members got a special treat from  Tori Kelly  when the singer (and  Sing -er) took the stage for the first ever GRAMMY U "Unwrapped" event on May 15. Held at The Novo in downtown Los Angeles, the event brought together fans, music industry professionals, and students for a night that dove deep into the creative process behind Kelly’s brand new record, TORI. Amazon Music and Mastercard were participating sponsors for this event. 

Joined on stage by producer and collaborator Tenroc , Kelly took fans through a journey of several tracks from her new record, from inception to completion. Kelly discussed each track, aided by a video presentation and using stems to highlight special production techniques, musical intricacies, and cool little Easter eggs. The showcase was followed by a round of live questions from the audience, where Kelly dished about everything from her voiceover work to her pre-studio rituals, before grabbing a guitar and performing two new tracks: "High Water" and "Oceans."

Mainly collaborating just with Tenroc, Bellion, Clyde Lawrence , and Jordan Cohen , Kelly put together a record that's strongly influenced by late '90s and early '00s pop, with references to chirping Sidekick phones and plenty of nostalgic vocal effects. 

"missin u" in particular is interesting, not just because it was inspired by Craig David and the U.K. Garage sound — with Kelly taking special care to pronounce "garage" in true British fashion at the live event — but also because it was released in both its original form and as an R&B edit. The latter version is the one Kelly and Tenroc highlighted at the event, going through Kelly's vocal tracks, and really digging in on the remix's bridge, which Kelly wrote just for that track and recorded in her home studio.

Getting to see Tenroc's Logic Pro work on the big screen seemed to mesmerize everyone in attendance, with most marveling at the ease he seemed to have flicking through the dozens of stems, layers, and plug-ins.

"shelter"

Talking about "shelter," Kelly described a sort of shorthand she'd developed with Tenroc, after working closely together over the past few years. She said they're at the point where they can communicate with "sounds" and "telepathy," a benefit she attributes to not switching producers throughout the making of her record.

Tenroc and Kelly used "shelter" to talk about the c omping process, or the act of combining the best parts of different takes into a single track. Kelly said she typically does about five takes of a vocal track, all in different personas: one normal, one shyer, one wild, one with a lot of vocal runs, and one that's sort of a wild card. She can keep each take separate in her mind that way, remembering how she recorded a vowel slightly better in one take or gave a line a little grittier vocal texture in another. It's not something everyone can do, though, and Tenroc said it's truly amazing to witness in person — a fact the live audience could attest to. 

For Kelly, a lot of making TORI , was about exploring different tones and textures of her voice, she said. She'd sometimes start by doing an impression of a singer like Rihanna and Willow in one run, and then blend the inspired version with her own, stretching herself vocally. She demonstrated that kind of thing live at the show, doing off-the-cuff runs of bits of "Shelter" to talk about how they changed the way the word "plate" in the chorus. 

Tenroc also showed off how he used the Little Alterboy plug-in to alter Kelly's voice, turning the rap in "shelter," as well as the "you, you, you, you, you" bit into what sounds like a deep masculine voice, even though those lines were originally laid down by Kelly herself. 

"spruce"

When "spruce" was first being envisioned by Kelly and co-writer Casey Smith , it was a song called "truce" about making up with your loved one before going out on the town. Kelly had been wanting to make a "getting ready, girly song," though, and Bellion came into the studio one day with the idea of merging the two ideas in what became "spruce." 

Written over a loop made by Tenroc, "spruce" — featuring Kim Chaewon of K-Pop group LE SSERAFIM — is emblematic, Kelly said, of her effort to let go, change, and try new things in the studio. The production was inspired by Jai Paul and uses sidechain compression, which is when the level of one instrument or sound triggers a compressor to control the level of another sound. The crowd clearly seemed taken with the sound when Tenroc played examples of how it was used in the track, which he said he made in part with the Serum plugin . Kelly said the result feels fully "3-D," like you're "inside" the track rather than just listening along.

"same girl"

The last — and most personal —song on the record, "same girl," was mostly written by Kelly while she was on a plane. She wanted something that felt like it could close the record, and she recorded it live with Tenroc in her studio, where he also played piano. 

Kelly said the song was inspired by her love of various music styles and genres. She explained, "Coming up as an artist, I always felt a little insecure about trying to stay in one lane and be in one box. I love so many different genres. I'm inspired by so many different things." She continued, "And so finding my sound I always thought that was a bad thing... But I'm grateful for all these different genres I've been able to dabble in. This song was me being overwhelmed by people's opinions and letting it get to me a little bit while thinking of my career as a whole."

Kelly said that while she worried when she was writing that the lyrics would be too personal and too specific, she's had great feedback about the track, something that reminds her that, "Anytime you write about your own experience, someone else out there is going to be able to relate to it."

Stray Kids staged a takeover of Good Morning America on Wednesday morning (May 15), dropping into the show’s New York studios to take a few questions from fans before busting out a performance of their new single.

Stray Kids Team Up With Charlie Puth for Energetic ‘Lose My Breath’ Single…

The group them performed the song in studio, singing and dancing along to the song in front of a wall of flashing neon lights as the studio full of fans sang along and held up their armloads of tributes.

At press time the only announced dates for the group’s tour were a July 12 gig at the Ippodromo SNAI La Maura in Milano, Italy, followed by a July 14 show in Hyde Park in London, and an August date at Lollapalooza in Chicago, which runs from the Aug. 1-4.

America’s 2024 K-Pop Tours (Jan-Apr)

2024 is expected to kick off with a high Korean pop vibe in America given the numerous scheduled K-pop tours. Notable K-pop artists are expected to grace several stages across America throughout the first quarter of 2024 in appreciation of their international fans. Below are some of the K-Pop artists having tours across America between January and April of 2024.

VAV will start 2024 by taking over the US, from the East Coast to the West Coast, with the ‘Subcönscióus’ tour. This tour, set from 5 th to 21 st January 2024, is expected to revamp the group’s upcoming June mini-album titled “Subcönscióus”. This 6-member boy band will kick off the tour in New Jersey, before heading to Illinois, Puerto Rico, and Florida. VAV will then proceed to woo their legion of fans, the Vampz, across Georgia, Arizona, and Texas. VAV is expected to wrap up the ‘Subcönscióus’ tour in Washington and California.

IVE is a rising force in the K-pop industry and is validated after the group maintained a top 5 position in November 2023 TOP 100 Korean Singer Brand Reputation Rankings .  This sextet girl band is looking to solidify its global brand reputation with their first-ever world tour, the ‘Show What I Have’ tour. Taking place in North America, this tour is expected to kick off in March 2024 with the stakes of supporting the group’s latest “ Ive Mine ” EP. NJ’s Prudential Center, Newark, is one of the places where the IVE girl band is expected to showcase its charm and bond with its followers who go by the fandom name DIVE.

3. Car, The Garden

Car, The Garden is on the road again. This iconic figure is expected to hold the ‘Harmony’ tour across North America from 23 rd January to 6 th February 2024. Car, The Garden will be kicking off the performances performing in San Francisco before wrapping up in Toronto. Seattle, New York, and Somerville are other places where this legendary artist will be ushering his charms.

This legendary girl band will sweep their American fans off their feet this coming January 2024. TWICE will be going on the “Ready To Be” world tour set to kick off in February through early March. The tour will start in Mexico before heading to Las Vegas on 16th March. The “Ready To Be” tour, the group’s 5th world tour, will promote TWICE’s twelfth EP titled Ready To Be.

5. GOT7’s BamBam

BamBam from the legendary GOT7 boy band will engage with his American fans early next year through his solo “Area 52” world tour. Spanning through February, this tour will see BamBam, the former GOT7 member, feature shows in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington DC among others.

MCND, run by TOP Media, will be having its ‘ODD-VENTURE’ tour in February 2024 across the US, almost a month after their Europe tour. For the US tour, this 5-member boy band is expected to kick off the performances at New York City’s Racket NYC venue on 9 th February. MCND is expected to gear up the performances with shows in Chicago, Atlanta, and Dallas, before closing down the curtain in California.

7. Amber Liu

Global pop icon and former member of the F(X) girl group, Amber Liu, plans to strengthen her global footing in the entertainment industry with the upcoming ‘No More Sadness’ 2024 world tour. The tour is planned to take place in Asia, the UK, and the US. In the US, the tour will take place from the 17 th to the 30 th of January 2024. The US tour will kick off in Seattle, through Chicago and Toronto, before wrapping up in Washington.

8. ODD EYE CIRCLE

This trio girl band will be leveling up their game come next year with their scheduled “Volume Up” 2024 tour. Taking off on January 16 through early February, ODD EYE CIRCLE will be performing across Mexico and the United States mainland. In the US, the band will perform in several cities including Atlanta, Houston, Orlando, and San Francisco. The “Volume Up” tour will be in support of the band’s “Version Up” EP that topped iTunes charts worldwide upon its release in July 2023.

9. OnlyOneOf

OnlyOneOf is set to hit international entertainment arenas mid 2024 with a world tour targeted at Asia, North America, Latin America, and Europe. Under 8D Entertainment, this 6-member boy band is expected to start its US tour in Vancouver on 17 th April 2024. OnlyOneOf will then perform in Chicago and other cities before finishing off the tour in Los Angeles in May 2024.

10. Rad Museum, Miso & Tabber

Rad Museum, Miso, and Tabber will be showcasing their innate talents across North America early next year. The trio will be doing the ‘you,will.knovv’ tour from 19 th January to 6 th February 2024. The tour will start in Phoenix Concert Theatre, Toronto through Houston, before the curtains close in Seattle city.

New ITZY World Tour 2024: Dates, Cities & Setlist

J YP Entertainment’s girl group ITZY has presented an impressive setlist in their 2024 Born To Be World Tour . The K-pop group’s concert series will continue until August, with six more dates.

Rising K-pop icons ITZY dropped their third studio album, Born To Be, on January 8, 2024. The music quintet’s latest ten-track album sold over half a million physical copies within a week of its release in South Korea. It ranked one on the Circle Album Chart and two on the Billboard US World Chart.

After the impressive album’s release, fans looked forward to the Born To Be World Tour’s setlist, and the group did not disappoint. The group has incorporated over 25 tracks from their different eras.

ITZY World Tour (Born To Be) 2024: Dates & Cities

K-pop stars ITZY will continue their 2024 world tour in June with three United States and Canada shows. The group will take a short break at the beginning of July before resuming their shows in Asia at the end of the month.

But the group members did not forget to mention her at the concerts. On their June 23 Newark concert, Chaeryeong promised fans, saying, “If we can come back, we will bring Lia.” The 23-year-old was last seen supporting the K-pop act at their Seoul concert in February.

The band is likely to perform some of their recent hits, like “Youth” or “Red Sun.” ATEEZ has been dropping so many music videos in recent months non-stop, and it looks like a world tour isn’t stopping this group anytime soon.

Enhypen – Fate Plus World Tour

Did you somehow find your way in ENHYPEN’s fandom? It wouldn’t be hard, considering that all the members of the group have exceptional talents. They’re also touring in the U.S. in 2024, and you wouldn’t want to miss out on tickets if you wanted to hear their wonderful voices live.

I.U. – H.E.R.

I.U. is finally coming to the U.S. as early as July 15, 2024. In case you’ve seen her in K-dramas, I.U. is both a singer and an actress. She’s never toured outside of Asia before, until the H.E.R. 2024 World Tour. This tour will make six different stops in the U.S., including Newark, Atlanta, Washington D.C., Rosemont, Oakland, and Los Angeles.

ITZY – Born to Be

Even if they’re down to four members, ITZY will have an upcoming world tour in 2024. Lia’s fans won’t be able to see her, but Chaeryeong, Ryujin, Yuna, and Yeji will all be there to perform their songs from the Born to Be album. Compared to the last tour the group had, ITZY’s Born to Be tour will visit more countries and cities.

STAYS (Stray Kids fans) wouldn’t want to miss out on the energetic, live performances of Stray Kids during their 2024 World Tour. Some fans may have just seen Stray Kids in 2023 after their MANIAC World Tour, but you can never watch too much Stray Kids live. We’ll just have to wait and see for more information about their world tour.

TXT – Act: Promise

Tomorrow x Together (TXT) just finished their last world tour in December 2023, and they’re coming back for more. TXT Act: Promise doesn’t have a country list available yet. Nevertheless, U.S. fans were able to see them the last time, and it’s likely for the group to return to the U.S. for this coming tour.

Red Velvet Fan Meeting Concert Tour 2024: Dates, Cities & How to Book Tickets

K-pop’s evergreen icons Red Velvet announced the dates and cities of their upcoming fan meeting concert tour . The SM Entertainment group will hold their fan concert series after wrapping up comeback promotions.

Red Velvet debuted in 2014 with only four members – Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, and Joy. Kim Yerim, aka Yeri, joined the group as a vocalist in 2015. Since then, the group has achieved numerous accolades and impressed global critics with its music. The K-pop quintet also defied the myth that a group’s popularity generally fades within seven years of their stay in the industry.

After remaining popular among fans for a decade, Red Velvet will celebrate its 11th anniversary in August with a series of fan meetings. The first fan concert will happen at Seoul’s Olympic Handball Gymnasium on August 3, 2024 .

SM Entertainment’s K-pop girl group, Red Velvet, will organise several fan meeting concerts in 2024, starting in South Korea. The “Psycho” crooners will travel to four Asian cities next for their Fan-Con tour.

Tickets for Red Velvet’s Fan Con 2024 will be available at different ticketing sites based on country and city. Fans can buy the Seoul concert tickets from the Melon Ticket site , which will be on sale on July 1 and 2. Global fans can purchase tickets for the South Korea show here .

For overseas tickets, fans can go to the arena/stadium’s website and check for tickets in July. Manila tickets for the Red Velvet tour will be available on the official SM Mall site .

Meanwhile, the girl group is gearing up for their 2024 comeback with a new mini album. Red Velvet’s seventh mini album, Cosmic, will drop on June 24, 2024, at 6 p.m. KST, 5 a.m. ET, 10 a.m. BST and 2.30 p.m. IST. Fans can pre-save the EP  here .

The Rose announces 2024 Asia Tour – Manila, Seoul, Jakarta, and Mumbai confirmed

The Rose will be touring across Asia in early 2024.

The four-piece Korean alt-pop band are set to bring their DAWN TO DUSK tour to four cities in Asia kickstarting in Jakarta, before making stops in Manila, Mumbai, and Seoul. 

Thereafter, the group will set off to the European leg of the tour where they will be visiting cities such as Hamburg, Budapest, London, Milan, Paris, and more.

The announcement of the tour came after the band's successful wrap-up of their performances in United States and various festival concerts including Lollapalooza in Chicago, British Summer Time in the United Kingdom, and Mad Cool Festival in Madrid. 

Kirby Lee, Co-CEO of entertainment company, Transparent Arts , shared in a press release: “We've gotten great feedback from everyone about the new production for the Dawn to Dusk Tour. We are happy that we finally have a stage set up that matches the awesome performance energy from The Rose. We can't wait for the rest of the world to see it.”

Comprising members Woosung (vocals and guitar), Dojoon (vocals and multi-instrumentalist), Jaehyeong (bass), and Hajoon (Drums), the band is known for their music that “masterfully weaves emotions and sounds”. 

Since their debut, the band released a slew of acclaimed albums that their fans could relate to including HEAL , which rose to number four on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums in 2022.

Girls’ Generation member Hyoyeon has announced her upcoming 2024 Summer USA tour, featuring concerts in Boston, Houston and more.

Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon will be going on tour of the US later this year, releasing a poster of her upcoming tour through the girl group’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.

The tour begins this weekend in Milwaukee and Boston, and will resume on August 23 at the ORA Nightclub in Seattle. In the same month, Hyoyeon will also perform in Costa Mesa, Houston, New York and Chicago.

The announcement comes just two months after she concluded her ‘Cherry Blossom’ tour, which also took place in the US .

The list of dates for Hyoyeon’s 2024 Summer USA tour are as follow:

(G)I-DLE Announce Dates For ‘i-DOL’ World Tour 2024

K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE has shared an exciting announcement for their fans worldwide . The band has recently revealed the details of their upcoming 2024 ‘i-DOL’ world tour, which promises to be one of the most highly anticipated events of the year. The tour will see (G)I-DLE perform 19 concerts across Asia, the US, and Australia from August to November 2024. Fans can expect an unforgettable experience, as the group will showcase their talents and stage presence in some of the world’s most iconic locations.

The tour will begin with two concerts in Seoul, South Korea, on August 3 and 4. The band will then head to Hong Kong, China, and Tokyo, Japan, in the same month to continue their Asia leg of the tour. These performances will be a treat for fans eagerly waiting to see their favourite band in action. In September 2024, (G)I-DLE will travel to the US to perform for their North American fans.
