This time, he’s delivering a curation of mind-blowing performances and conversations in the new film The Journey: A Music Special from Andrea Bocelli , which is set to premiere starting April 2, Palm Sunday, through Easter Sunday on April 9.

Naturally, after the preview for the movie, which included this moving duet of "Hallelujah” with Tori Kelly, first made waves around the internet in March, fans are eager to find out how they can watch the film. Luckily, we have just what you’re looking for.

How can I watch The Journey?

It’s been nearly three years since the legendary singer graced his fans and the world with a 25-minute live performance on Easter Sunday , and now another performance will be available in theaters for a limited time, from Palm Sunday through Easter. Supporters can decide whether they would like to purchase individual or group tickets (which are for parties of 25 or more) by following the link on the film’s website.

How much do tickets cost?

Ticket prices for most locations start at around $12 per person. However, due to the limited number of show dates and show times, we recommend snagging them as soon as possible before they sell out.

Can I stream The Journey?

It is not yet clear if the film will be available on streaming services anytime soon, but Bocelli has released recorded performances onto YouTube in the past, so fingers crossed!

Executive producer Veronica Bocelli, wife of world-renowned singer Andrea Bocelli, sat down with ChurchPOP’s Jacqueline Burkepile for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at her new film, “The Journey: A Musical Special From Andrea Bocelli.”

In the film, Andrea and Veronica Bocelli travel on horseback for a 200-mile pilgrimage across Italy’s ancient Via Francigena, beginning in Rome with a blessing from Pope Francis.

The two explored several cathedrals, abbeys, and other Catholic locations in the musical special. They also spent some quality time with their children.

In this interview, Veronica explains the adventure, how it impacted her faith and relationship with her husband, how she felt upon receiving a special papal blessing, and why they chose these beautiful and historic Catholic locations. In an additional interview with ChurchPOP, Andrea Bocelli told Burkepile how the pilgrimage impacted his faith.

“For a long time, I’ve tried to increase my faith in many ways with books, speaking with a spiritual person–so many ways. In this journey, of course, it has been a big opportunity for me, in order to pray and visit beautiful churches and sanctuaries.”

He also explained what he hopes viewers take from the film.

“For sure the beauty of our country, and on top of that, a message of faith and hope,” Andrea said.

Veronica added that she hopes viewers gather both the beauty nature and a love for faith from the film.

“Hopefully we move the curiosity of few of the pilgrims…you decide to do it because you’re in the middle of nature, because you like to walk, and then you find your faith. Or the opposite way around, because you’re very religious, and in a certain way, we move you from the seats and allow you to be in the beauty of nature.”

Kevin Costner saddles up for ambitious cinematic journey with 4-part western he calls 'Horizon'

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Kevin Costner is saddling up for his most ambitious cinematic journey yet. It's the four-part, big screen western, labor of love he calls "Horizon."

Costner is the director, co-writer, producer, and star of "Horizon: An American Saga, Chapter 1."

It marks his first directing project in more than 20 years. It's also been 34 years since he produced and directed his first film "Dances with Wolves," which won two Oscars along the way.

Add in "Wyatt Earp" and the hit TV show, "Yellowstone," and it's fair to say Costner knows his way around a western. He admits he's become a bit of a modern-day ambassador for the American western.

"Well, I'm not looking to reinvent it or to educate people, but I love it," he said. "I love the drama, and I love that if you can bring humanity to a western, if you can bring authenticity, they're hard to look away from if your story stands."

This emotional saga chronicles pre- and post-Civil War expansion and the difficulties that were a part of it. The settlement of the American west was a tough time in American history.

"It gets harder, the journey. That's the promise. What these people went through, it gets tougher, and you get to know them more and you have a level of empathy for them," he said. "You see the good and bad of what happens in a place where there's no law."

Costner said he's read western stories his entire life, and now he loves that he gets to tell his own.

"I think people go to the movies with an idea that they're going to be taken on a journey," he said. "That they are going to be inspired, that they are going to be reminded in the dark, again, why it is they love movies so much because they get to be transported. You can only do that if you're careful in your storytelling."

"Horizon: An American Saga, Chapter 1" is now in theaters. Chapter 2 arrives in mid-August.

Filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy plans to drown out the toxic side of the Star Wars fandom (and the fandom in general) while working on her upcoming Rey movie . Discussing the project carefully with Variety , Obaid-Chinoy addressed being the target of overly critical fans, many of whom have called her hiring for the sequel another example of Disney “woke-ism” with threats to boycott the Rey movie, titled New Jedi Order , when it’s released. But Obaid-Chinoy is aware of, and even somewhat understands, the passion felt by Star Wars fans, and will ignore all of it until she is “done.”

“The greatest thing about ‘Star Wars’ is that everyone has a personal connection to it. Everyone is passionate about it. And throughout the fandom, people have clear ideas about who should direct or what the stories should be about. I’m just drowning out those voices until I’m done.”

While she can’t reveal too much about the Rey movie, Obaid-Chinoy does tease elements for both new and old fans in her debut story set in a galaxy far, far away.

“As a storyteller, I’m focused on drawing new moviegoers into the cinema, and bringing a sense of nostalgia that will appeal to older fans of the series.”

Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy Is Interested in Exploring 'Rey’s Journey as a Female Jedi'

The Rey movie will bring Daisy Ridley back following her introduction as the fledgling Jedi Knight in the Disney Star Wars sequel trilogy. Last seen in 2019’s Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker , the movie will follow-up on the sequel, and center on Rey as she attempts to shape the Jedi Order for a new era. And, for Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, it is Rey’s journey as a female Jedi that interests her most.

“The story that interests me most is in Rey’s journey as a female Jedi. That’s how I can best bring my experiences to it.”

Natalie Portman struggled with the backlash towards the Star Wars prequels.

The most recent Star Wars outing to be targeted by a particular section of fans is the Disney+ series The Acolyte . The show now has the lowest Rotten Tomatoes ‘audience score’ at 13%, with many having taken it upon themselves to review bomb the series (with some accidentally leaving negative reviews for the wrong project ).

Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy has addressed the ongoing backlash , saying that, from what she has seen, a lot of “women who step into ‘ Star Wars ’ struggle” with toxicity.

“My belief is that storytelling does need to be representative of all people. That’s an easy decision for me. Operating within these giant franchises now, with social media and the level of expectation — it’s terrifying. I think Leslye has struggled a little bit with it. I think a lot of the women who step into ‘Star Wars’ struggle with this a bit more. Because of the fan base being so male dominated, they sometimes get attacked in ways that can be quite personal.”

What to Know About Alec Baldwin’s Long Journey to Court

It’s been a challenge to follow the case. Here are its many twists and turns.

The actor Alec Baldwin is scheduled to go on trial next month for involuntary manslaughter in Santa Fe, N.M.

Baldwin’s long journey to the courtroom started on Oct. 21, 2021, on the set of the western movie “Rust,” when the gun he was holding while blocking out a shot discharged, firing a live round that injured the movie’s director, Joel Souza, and killed its cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins.

It was an almost unimaginable tragedy, but Baldwin soon found himself in legal jeopardy, too. The subsequent saga has amounted to a high-stakes version of a familiar Baldwin ritual: He does or says something controversial; then, in an attempt to be understood, he doubles down on whatever he said or did, inviting further scrutiny; finally, feeling victimized and aggrieved, he vows to stop engaging with the media.

He was in this third stage by the time I started reporting a few months ago . To trace the improbable arc of his prosecution, I interviewed more than 30 people in New York and Santa Fe, reviewed numerous public court filings, police records and videos, and obtained additional documents under New Mexico’s freedom-of-information act.

It’s been a challenge to follow the case through all of its many twists and turns . Here’s what you need to know as the trial approaches.

Troubling details quickly emerged about the film’s set.

The shooting occurred at 1:46 p.m. at the Bonanza Creek Ranch, a family-owned Old West movie set about 20 miles southeast of Santa Fe.

Almost immediately, troubling details began to emerge about the film’s set. There were two accidental firings of blank rounds before the accidental discharge that killed Hutchins, and several members of the camera crew had resigned the night before the incident, citing, among other things, safety concerns. The armorer, who maintains control of all of the film’s firearms — and there were a lot, as this was a western — was just 24 years old and inexperienced.

The local district attorney in Santa Fe, Mary Carmack-Altwies, did not rule out the possibility of criminal prosecutions. “All options are on the table at this point,” she said.

The case against Baldwin was about more than just the shooting.

Baldwin was worried about his criminal exposure from the beginning: Not only was he the actor holding the gun that killed Hutchins, but he was also a producer of “Rust.”

In a series of phone calls and text messages, later released by the Sheriff’s Department, he tried to explain to the detective leading the case that all film productions seek to save money and that it’s not an actor’s responsibility to check his firearm.

Baldwin’s enemies on the political right, meanwhile, pounced. Donald Trump, whom Baldwin impersonated on “Saturday Night Live,” went so far as to suggest that the shooting might not have been accidental.

Baldwin tried to clear his name in an interview on ABC with George Stephanopoulos. But the effort backfired when he said that he only pointed the gun at Hutchins because she had guided it in her direction and when he denied having ever pulled the trigger.

To Carmack-Altwies, he seemed unrepentant. And she didn’t believe his claim about the trigger. “Did he just waltz himself into charges?” she asked her deputy.

The prosecution took place in a tense political context.

District attorneys are elected officials, and charging decisions don’t take place in a vacuum. They are specific to a time and place. And New Mexico is a place with a fraught relationship with outsiders. The state’s official nickname is the Land of Enchantment, but among some Santa Fe locals, it’s known as the Land of Resentment, an allusion to its long history of occupation and exploitation.

New Mexico is also a rural hunting state with a strong gun culture, and it takes gun safety seriously.

As the investigation continued and the possibility of criminal charges loomed, Baldwin was growing resentful himself. “This was something that was to the delight of people who hate my guts politically,” he told Chris Cuomo in an interview during the summer of 2022.

On Jan. 19, 2023, Carmack-Altwies announced her intention to charge Baldwin with involuntary manslaughter, and she followed up the news conference with a slew of national media interviews.

The case unraveled before it got back on track.

Almost as soon as the charges were filed, the case began to unravel, thanks to a series of legal challenges from Baldwin’s lawyers.

Carmack-Altwies stepped down from the case and tapped an Albuquerque lawyer, Kari Morrissey, to lead the prosecution. Weeks after taking over, Morrissey withdrew the charges.

It looked to Baldwin as though he might be in the clear. He thanked his lawyer in an Instagram post and began cooperating with a documentary film about him and “Rust” that he hoped would be sympathetic.

He was not in the clear. Months later, in the fall of 2023, Morrissey told Baldwin’s lawyers that she intended to refile the charges. She offered Baldwin a plea deal but withdrew it after learning that he had been pressuring potential witnesses to sit for interviews for the documentary.

Justice . . . or vengeance?

In many ways, the story of Baldwin’s prosecution has come to resemble a western movie itself, testing the line between justice and vengeance.

Baldwin has been at the center of the media maelstrom surrounding “Rust” for nearly three years now. During that time, his wife, Hilaria, has given birth to their seventh child, even as he has lost work and been party to several potentially costly civil suits.

WATCH: ‘Red One’ Trailer New Action Holiday Movie Starring Dwayne Johnson for Amazon MGM

Amazon MGM just released the trailer for “Red One” a new holiday film with a new take on an age old genre – Christmas and Santa Clause. 

The film stars action superstar Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans (Captain America) and Lucy Liu (Kill Bill). Also starring are Kiernan Shipka, Bonnie Hunt, Kristofer Hivju, Nick Kroll, Wesley Kimmel and J.K. Simmons.

Here’s the official synopsis from Amazon MGM:

After Santa Claus – Code Name: RED ONE – is kidnapped, the North Pole’s Head of Security (Johnson) must team up with the world’s most infamous bounty hunter (Evans) in a globe-trotting, action-packed mission to save Christmas.

In the director’s chair for “Red One” is Jake Kasdan helming a script penned by Chris Morgan, from a story by Hiram Garcia.

The Producers are Dwayne Johnson, Hiram Garcia, Chris Morgan, Dany Garcia,  Jake Kasdan and Melvin Mar. 

The holiday film will premiere at theaters on Nov. 15.
