What are the prices?
The tickets were about $60. Drinks from the bar and dessert are extra. Two martinis and one dessert cost us $26. ($6 for the dessert).
How's the live music?
It is good. There is a gentleman playing his guitar and singing famous song (romantic). In my opinion, it is just perfect when you are having a dinner on boat.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our first dinner cruise that happened to also be our 22nd wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful evening. Watching the sunset while cruising the Charleston harbor was just gorgeous. The food was wonderful and great conversation with others on the cruise. The music was lively and made for a great evening. Thank you

The cruise was awesome. My family and I really had a great time. I was able to get on and off easily on my wheel chair.
Spectacular cruise. We were greatly benefitted by the expertise of our tour guide. He is an Air Force Academy graduate and a decorated veteran. He did a wonderful job. Couldn't be happier.
Had an incredible experience cruising with SpiritLine! Wonderful crew. The boat was incredibly stable. The live music was great. Not too loud. Just right. The food was excellent as well. Choose wisely because it is only a 3 or 4 entree menu. I had the short ribs with whipped mashed potatoes and it was really good. We are locals and not tourists. And we will be going back! Highly recommend. We live in a beautiful city folks! Take advantage of the wonderful opportunities to see our city in a different lite!!!

So to make this review reasonable I need to break this down. If food is a big concern, then my review would be more like 2-3 stars. The overall experience was very nice. We arrived around 6:20-6:30pm as recommended for the 7:00pm cruise. They take your picture as you board and you can purchase the photo package for $45, which we did because the pictures looked great. The boarding process was smooth and the staff was great. We were immediately greeted, seated and had drink orders taken. Once everyone is onboard they tell you that dinner will be started around 7:30 and you can go up top to take pictures. Even on a day that was 93 degrees, with the breeze in the water it felt nice up top. Everyone was having fun and taking pictures. At 7:30 we returned to our table and we're immediately served, but here is where it loses points for me. First course was crab soup, ok, second course, salad, again ok, next the entree, I selected the short rib and it was terrible. It had absolutely no flavor. I added so much salt and pepper and still did not eat it. Last we got dessert which was an add-on. It was small but good. Overall we really enjoyed our night as they also had live music, and our crowd was great, plus once again I must commend the staff, they were just great. If you want a nice different evening, I would highly recommend it. If you are looking for a great meal, I would say, move on. Very torn emotions but I went with 4 stars, because overall we really enjoyed the experience.
Very fun dinner cruise! The singer had an incrediblly smooth voice and played all the fun songs. Food was great! I had the short ribs and my husband had the shrimp and grits! We would totally recommend to anyone!
Short ribs on the bottom. Shrimp and grits on top.
That was definitely entertainment that I experienced. And food that I ate. The chickpea meal was like Chef Boyardee made Indian food, which was... fine... She crab soup and shrimp and grits were insanely salty. Salad crazily over dressed. Cocktails were ... fine. Entertainment was a singer with a guitar who was mediocre, took no requests, and had little interest in whether folks were enjoying his offerings. NOT FOR KIDS!!! No children's menu and no kid friendly options.
We enjoyed our boat tour very very much! I highly recommend this tour especially if you have guests that have a hard time walking and getting around. It's a great way to see Charleston and be on the water.
As a local, we expected a little more from this dinner cruise. The word "Luxury cruise" is a bit of a stretch. Upon entering the boat we were taken to a table where we sat with strangers. Lucky for us they were very nice. The servers were great and the food was okay. The chicken was not hot. I also was surprised there wasn't any mention of safety tips for being on the water or a welcome from anyone. As a historical city, there should have been a short narration of what we saw before the sunset as the boat circled in the same area for 2 hours. This was advertised as live music. At the end of the ride, a guy with a guitar and pre-recorded music sang for about 20 minutes. Not exactly entertainment. Overall, we had a nice night, and it was good to get out but this management needs to step up their game to provide a more fulfilling experience.
This is overrated and not worth the expense in my opinion. You literally sail around in circles for nearly 3 hours. The one man band was ok and they played decent music. The food was mediocre wedding food. The wife had shrimp and grits and took two bites. I had the short rib that you needed to shower with salt and pepper in order to get any flavor. The dessert was terrible, but the staff did do a great job. Spend your money elsewhere

Is Savannah or Charleston better?
We’re of course partial to Charleston, but here’s the truth. There are many similarities however there are some differences in our opinion:
- Both cities are historic and beautiful.
- Both cities are extremely walkable. Savannah, with it’s park-like squares maybe more walkable than Charleston.
- Charleston has a more established and food scene with many more options.
- Charleston has better hotels and shopping.
- Both cities have equally good tours.
- Charleston has better beach options. Savannah has Tybee which is great, however it’s 1 beach vibe versus Charleston which has 3 beaches with different vibes. Checkout this Charleston beach guide article: https://travelerofcharleston.com/guide-charlestons-beaches/
- In Savannah you can walk with alcoholic beverages on the street. This is not allowed in Charleston. This can be good or bad depending on your stance.
- Savannah is more affordable.
- TourPass offers all-inclusive passes in both cities: https://tourpass.com
