Opal single tickets

If you don't have an  Opal card  or use  contactless payments , you can get an Opal single trip ticket. These tickets are designed as a back up option and are only available for metro/train, ferry and light rail services. It is usually cheaper and more convenient to tap on and tap off with a contactless-enabled credit, debit card or linked device, unless you need Child/Youth fares.

Opal single tickets are available as Adult or Child/Youth only. Child/Youth single tickets are for those aged 4-15 years old or eligible  secondary students . No other concessions are available.

You cannot break your journey or get return tickets with Opal single tickets. Each trip requires a new ticket. Remember to tap on and tap off  with an Opal single ticket, or else you are travelling on an invalid ticket and  you may be fined .

You can buy up to two Adult and two Child/Youth Opal single trip tickets at once and they are valid on the day of purchase until 4am the next day. Refunds are only available for faulty tickets.

Opal single trip tickets are available at select stations or wharves  from top up and single trip ticket machines. If your station or wharf doesn't offer them, use contactless payments or get an Opal card.

Note: trips that include transfers between Sydney Metro, Sydney Trains and/or NSW TrainLink Intercity services are considered a continuous journey. No need to tap off and tap on again between services.

Berikut rangkuman perbedaan LRT Jakarta dengan LRT Jabodetabek:

1. Perbedaan rute

LRT Jakarta dan LRT Jabodebek memiliki perbedaan utama dalam rute perjalanannya. LRT Jakarta beroperasi di wilayah Jakarta, sedangkan LRT Jabodebek melayani wilayah Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, dan Bekasi. LRT Jakarta memulai pembangunannya pada 22 Juni 2016 dan mulai beroperasi secara komersial pada 1 Desember 2019. Sementara LRT Jabodebek baru resmi beroperasi pada tanggal 28 Agustus 2023.

2. Pembuatan dan teknologi

LRT Jakarta dibangun menggunakan kereta buatan Hyundai Rotem dari Korea Selatan. Keunggulan teknologinya terletak pada penggunaan sistem articulated bogie yang memungkinkan kereta melaju dengan aman mengikuti kontur jalur trek pada tikungan tajam. Teknologi ini menjadi inovasi baru dalam proyek transportasi Indonesia.

LRT Jakarta tahap 1 memiliki 6 stasiun dengan lintasan rel sepanjang 5,8 km. Stasiun-stasiun tersebut antara lain Pegangsaan Dua Depo Kelapa Gading, Boulevard Utara, Boulevard Selatan, Pulomas, Equestrian, dan Velodrome. LRT Jabodebek memiliki 18 stasiun dengan dua lintas perjalanan, yaitu lintas Cibubur dan lintas Bekasi, mencakup area seperti Dukuh Atas, Setiabudi, Rasuna Said, Kuningan, Pancoran, Cawang, TMII, dan lainnya.

Tarif LRT Jakarta

Tarif tiket LRT Jakarta telah ditetapkan pada tanggal 1 Desember 2019 sebesar Rp5.000 untuk satu kali perjalanan, berlaku seragam untuk semua stasiun tanpa memandang jarak. Kamu bisa menggunakan layanan LRT Jakarta mulai pukul 05.30-23.00 WIB setiap harinya.

Cara Pembayaran LRT Jakarta

Berikut adalah empat cara pembayaran untuk LRT Jakarta:

1. Single Journey Trip (SJT)

Kartu SJT berlaku untuk satu kali perjalanan dan bisa diperoleh di loket pembayaran Passenger Agent Office (PAO) atau mesin tiket otomatis (Ticket Vending Machine) di seluruh stasiun LRT Jakarta. Harga satu kartu SJT adalah Rp20.000, dengan tarif perjalanan sebesar Rp5.000 dan deposit kartu Rp15.000. Deposit bisa dikembalikan di stasiun tujuan dalam 7 hari setelah tap out .

2. QRIS LinkAja

Akses aplikasi LinkAja, periksa saldo, dan buat kode tiket dengan menggoyangkan ponsel. Scan kode tiket di gerbang masuk LRT, dan lakukan hal yang sama di gerbang keluar di stasiun tujuan. Saldo LinkAja akan terpotong sesuai dengan biaya perjalanan.

3. Access by KAI

Metode ini memerlukan aplikasi Access by KAI dan KAIPay. Buka aplikasi, pilih menu LRT, pesan tiket dengan memilih stasiun keberangkatan dan tujuan. Rincian tarif dan masa berlaku tiket akan ditampilkan. Pastikan saldo KAIPay mencukupi, lalu bayar tiket dengan memasukkan PIN KAIPay. Setelah pembayaran berhasil, dapatkan barcode dan scan di pintu masuk stasiun.

4. Kartu Uang Elektronik (KUE)

Alternatif pembayaran lainnya adalah menggunakan Kartu Uang Elektronik (KUE). Contohnya seperti e-money (Bank Mandiri), Flazz (Bank BCA), Tap-Cash (Bank BNI), Brizzi (Bank BRI), Jakcard (Bank DKI), dan Jak Lingko (Bank DKI/BNI) dengan minimum saldo Rp8.500.

Semenjak beroperasi 1 Desember 2019, LRT Jakarta memiliki enam stasiun untuk perjalanannya, yaitu:

Sebagai stasiun terbesar dalam jaringan LRT, stasiun ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai titik awal perjalanan tapi juga sebagai depo gerbong kereta. Lokasinya yang berdekatan dengan Mall Of Indonesia (MOI) dan layanan feeder TransJakarta yang tersedia memudahkan aksesibilitas penumpang.

2. Stasiun Boulevard Utara

Dikutip dari laman resmi www.lrtjakarta.co.id pada Minggu (19/2/2023), satu kereta LRT Jakarta mampu menampung hingga 135 penumpang.

Sementara satu rangkaian LRV atau satu trainset dapat menampung hingga 270 penumpang baik yang duduk maupun berdiri.

Saat ini Operasional LRT Jakarta mengoperasikan satu rangkaian LRV atau satu trainset yang terdiri 2 kereta atau gerbong.

Adapun waktu yang dapat ditempuh antar stasiun LRT Jakarta adalah sekitar 1 sampai dengan 2,5 menit. Sementara untuk menempuh jarak 5,8 Km akan menempuh waktu total hingga 13 sampai dengan 15 menit.

Rute LRT Jakarta tahap 1 saat ini adalah sepanjang 5,8 Km membentang dari Stasiun Pegangsaan Dua, Kelapa Gading hingga Stasiun Velodrome, Rawamangun.

Rencana selanjutnya untuk perpanjangan rute LRT Jakarta fase 2 dibagi menjadi fase 2a Rute Kelapa Gading hingga Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), Sunter sepanjang 7,5 Km dan fase 2b Velodrome - Manggarai sepanjang 5,9 Km.

Jadwal dan Rute Terbaru Pengoperasian LRT Jabodebek

Berikut ini rute dan jadwal terbaru pengoperasian LRT Jabodebek yang mulai efektif berlaku pada 18 September 2023. 

tirto.id - LRT Jabodebek menambah jumlah perjalanan harian dari semula 158 menjadi 230 perjalanan. Hal tersebut telah dilaksanakan sejak Senin, 18 September 2023.

Pada kebijakan ini dilakukan penambahan jadwal keberangan awal dan akhir di sejumlah stasiun LRT.

Imbas penambahan perjalanan ini adalah semakin singkatnya waktu kedatangan antar-kereta (headway).

Akun Instagram resmi LRT Jabodebek (@lrt_jabodebek) menyebutkan, lintas Harjamukti-Cawang dan Jati Mulya-Cawang kini memiliki headway hanya 15 menit. Adapun headwy untuk lintas Dukuh Atas-Cawang memerlukan waktu kurang lebih 7,5 menit.

Adapun tarif LRT Jabodebek tidak berubah sampai 30 September 2023, yaitu flat Rp5.000 sekali perjalanan.

Penumpang dapat naik kereta ini dengan membayar menggunakan kartu Single Journey Trip (SJT) dan Kartu Uang Elektronik (KUE) perbankan yang di-tap melalui gerbang masuk stasiun LRT.

Selain itu, penumpang bisa memanfaatkan aplikasi Access by KAI untuk membeli tiket LRT Jabodebek dengan pilihan KAI Pay sebagai metode pembayaran yang terintegrasi.

Cara Naik LRT Jabodebek

Sebelum naik LRT Jabodebek pastikan telah memiliki kartu pembayaran dengan saldo yang mencukupi. Sekali perjalanan, piranti di gate stasiun LRT akan memotong saldo Rp5.000 hingga 30 September 2023 sebelum nantinya berlaku tarif normal.

Jika membeli memakai aplikasi LinkAja atau Access by KAI, persiapan kode QR untuk dipindai pada alat di gate.

Berikut langkah-langkah naik LRT Jabodebek:

1. Datangi stasiun keberangkatan LRT Jabodetabek yang diinginkan;

2. Lakukan tap-in kartu pembayaran atau kode QR pada gate, lalu berjalan lewat gerbang masuk;

3. Cari line atau lintas kereta sesuai arah yang hendak dituju sewaktu di peron;

4. Nantikan kereta datang dan pastikan berdiri di belakang batas garis aman;

5. Masuk kereta dan nikmati perjalanan hingga stasiun tujuan;

6. Ketika sudah sampai di stasiun tujuan, lakukan tap-out kartu pembayaran atau scan kode QR yang sama pada gate keluar yang sudah disiapkan;

7. Penumpang lantas berjalan melewati jalur keluar.

Informasi Harga Tiket LRT Jabodebek dan Cara Pembeliannya

Berapa harga tiket LRT Jabodebek ?. Seperti diketahui, LRT Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Bekasi (Jabodebek) sudah beroperasi setelah diresmikan oleh Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

Tarif LRT Jabodebek sudah ditetapkan melalui Keputusan Menteri Perhubungan Republik Indonesia Nomor KM 67 Tahun 2023 tentang Tarif Angkutan Orang dengan Kereta Api Ringan Terintegrasi di Wilayah Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, dan Bekasi untuk Melaksanakan Kewajiban Pelayanan Publik. Berdasarkan keputusan tersebut, harga tiket LRT Jabodebek mulai dari Rp 5.000 untuk 1 km pertama, dan mengalami penambahan sebesar Rp 700 per Km selanjutnya.

Selain itu, tarif LRT Jabodebek akan diberlakukan promo berupa diskon sebesar 78% yang diwujudkan dalam tarif flat sebesar Rp 5.000 untuk seluruh lintas pelayanan. Tarif promo Rp 5.000 itu diterapkan hingga akhir September 2023.

Promo tersebut diberikan dalam rangka HUT ke-78 RI. Selanjutnya, untuk mendorong minat masyarakat beralih menggunakan angkutan massal serta untuk mengenalkan LRT Jabodebek, Kementerian Perhubungan (Kemenhub) menyiapkan skema tarif promo maksimal Rp 20 ribu untuk jarak terjauh dan di bawah Rp 20 ribu untuk selain jarak terjauh sampai dengan akhir Februari 2024.

• Kemudian, pilih jenis perjalanan STJ (Tiket Satu Perjalanan)

Single-trip Bonds: An Alternative for Non-Bonded Carriers

What is a non-bonded highway carrier to do when they have an opportunity to pick up a load that needs to travel in-bond through Canada? One alternative is to obtain a single-trip bond.

Bonds issued by the  Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), whether single-trip or annual, allow highway carriers to move goods inland to a sufferance warehouse for release or "in-transit" through Canada for furtherance to a point outside of the country.

In order to become an annually bonded carrier with CBSA, carriers must have a carrier code, post financial security of up to $25,000 as well as fill out an application. However, to obtain a single-trip bond the process can be completed on an as-needed basis.

A single-trip bond can be acquired by the carrier directly through CBSA at the First Port of Arrival (FPOA) by filing security using cash or certified cheque or by engaging a customs broker who provides this service.

Goods moving on a single-trip bond are linked to the carrier code of the carrier moving the goods, a bond authorization number and Cargo Control Number (CCN) printed on a Cargo Control Document (CCD). This allows for reporting, tracing and acquittal of each shipment by CBSA.

CBSA expects the single-trip bond process to be limited and declining in use and as such this process remains paper-based.

The process for a single-trip bond movement of goods:

• The highway carrier will transmit cargo and conveyance data as a frontier release prior to arriving at the FPOA.
• At the Primary Inspection Line (PIL), the driver will declare that a single-trip authorization is required to move the goods inland. The carrier will then provide a lead sheet to the Border Services Officer (BSO) with the a bar coded CRN or  a bar coded CCN and handwritten CRN.
• The BSO will refer the driver inside for primary processing to apply for a single-trip bond.
• The carrier will present a completed paper re-manifest (A8A) to the BSO. The officer will stamp the A8A allowing the carrier to move the goods inland. The clearance is then processed as an in-bond movement.
• The A8A copies will be split as they were pre-emanifest carriers will not be penalized for handwriting the CCN onto the A8A being used to re-manifest, single-trip in-bond movement.
• Goods must go to the destination that CBSA has allowed the carrier to carry the goods to as per the bond. The single-trip bond naturally ends at the destination of the goods.
• The carrier is required to retain all records relating to this single-trip bond for three (3) years plus the current year.

SINGAPORE: Train services on the Sengkang-Punggol LRT line were affected for over four hours on Sunday (Jun 9) morning due to a signalling fault. 

SBS Transit first posted on X at 5.47am that there was no LRT train service for both Sengkang and Punggol LRT stations.

It said no fares would be deducted if commuters exit from affected LRT stations, adding that free regular and bridging buses had been made available at both stations, and apologised for the inconvenience caused.

In an update at 9.25am, SBS Transit said there was no train service on the Sengkang-Punggol LRT due to a signalling fault and that recovery work is in progress. 

Affected passengers were advised to follow directional signs to get to the boarding point for the  free regular and bridging bus services, and to access the SBS Transit app under the “Alternative Transport Option” for more information.

SBS Transit later said that train service on the Sengkang-Punggol LRT system had resumed since 10.12am, but free regular and bridging bus services were still available at designated bus stops.

Another round of long delays for NJ Transit, Amtrak commuters out of New York Penn Station

R ail service in and out of New York Penn Station faced up to 45-minute delays due to an Amtrak track condition during the evening commute, according to NJ Transit.

The agency says the track condition was in Secaucus, but offered no details.

Amtrak and NJ Transit trains were using a single track between the city and Newark, New Jersey.

Rail tickets and passes were cross-honored by NJ Transit bus, private carriers and PATH at Newark Penn Station, Hoboken Terminal and 33rd Street New York.

NJT urged customers to visit their website for available alternative service information.

SINGAPORE: A bus driver was taken to hospital after two off-service buses operated by Tower Transit collided in Sembawang on Saturday (June 8).

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted at 8.55pm that day to the road traffic accident which occurred at 11A Sembawang Vista.

The injured bus driver was taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. Another person was assessed for minor injuries and declined to be taken to hospital, SCDF said.

Photos of the incident’s aftermath posted on the Singapore Roads Accident.com Facebook page show the front of a green bus wedged against the rear end of a white bus. At least two SCDF ambulances are also seen at the scene.

The front doors of the green bus appear to be mangled, while the rear lights of the white bus also seem damaged.

In response to queries, a Tower Transit spokesman said: “Safety is of the greatest concern to Tower Transit Singapore and we have issued an alert to all our bus captains to drive defensively and drive with care.

“Our operations team is also walking the ground to take the safety reminder to each one of our bus captains.”There have been at least two other incidents involving a Tower Transit bus reported in three days.

Two people were taken to hospital on the morning of June 8 after an accident involving a Tower Transit bus and a lorry on the Tampines Expressway.

NJ Transit rail service at NYC's Penn Station delayed by 60 minutes

On a day when New York Gov. Kathy Hochul pout NYC's congestion pricing plan on hold , there is no easy commute out of the Big Apple for train riders.

New Jersey Transit announced on X , formerly Twitter, at 5:18 p.m. that rail service in and out of New York's Penn Station "is subject to up to 45-minute delays due to an Amtrak track condition near Secaucus." By 6:30 p.m., the delays had swelled to 60 minutes.

An Amtrak spokesperson said, "We were single tracking due to a quick track inspection" that has been completed.

NJ Transit said it would be cross honoring on NJ Transit bus, private carriers and PATH at Newark Penn Station, Hoboken Terminal and 33rd Street in New York.

Single trip travel insurance will cover you during one vacation, while multitrip or annual travel insurance can last for multiple outings. Let’s take a look at single trip travel insurance, what kind of coverage you can expect and how to choose a plan that works for you.

Purchasing a travel insurance plan is fairly simple, as is making a claim. It generally goes like this:

You gather a few quotes from travel insurance companies.

You pick a plan that suits your needs and customize it to your liking.

You purchase your plan and include a date for it to start.

You go on your trip.

If something happens (such as a flight delay), keep the proof.

How much am I willing to pay?

Do I want trip protection, emergency medical coverage or both?

Do I already have coverage somewhere?

How much customizability does my plan need?

Once you’ve answered these questions, do your due diligence and get quotes from multiple sources. Different providers will offer differing levels of coverage at varying prices, so it’s in your best interest to generate as many quotes as possible and read the fine print.

If you’re interested in getting travel insurance, do yourself a favor and consider these tips before making any purchases:

Consult your medical insurance provider to see whether it offers coverage out of country .

Consider an annual plan to save money if you make multiple trips per year.

Check your credit card for complimentary travel insurance . Many offer this benefit, and if its limits are satisfactory, you can book your travels with it and avoid buying a separate policy out-of-pocket altogether. More on this in the next section.
