My wife and I had a great time. The ship was older but that was what was classic about it. Food was excellent. Met and talked with the owner. Very informative. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. We have already recommended this to our friends and plan on cruising again.

My husband and I went for a date night on the dinner cruise. We had a lot of fun. It was also nice to do something different than the standard dinner and movie. The staff was very friendly. I feel like some of the reviews that you find on google are really unfair and unjustified. We will most likely book with Southern Empress Cruises again sometime in the future.

My husband and I decided to end our anniversary stay at La Torretta Resort and Spa by taking a trip on the Southern Empress. We are thrilled with our experience. The food was delicious.

The owner came by and introduced himself and asked if he could do anything to make our cruise better which was very nice of him. The price was very reasonable for a three hour cruise with dinner included.
