Here comes the wave! In this gorgeous open-world RPG, explore eroded landscapes, battle otherworldly creatures, and unlock incredible skills.

Pretty good; but

Wuthering Waves has been both good and very generous so far; I'm level 13 and have 3 5*s, (soon four), the exploration is very fun, the battle is smooth and satisfactory, and the story so far has been interesting. Unfortunately, the experience is ruined a lot by a ton of lag. Whether I use my phone or a tablet, it lags so hard, it's rough to even run around; and that's with the absolute lowest level settings possible. It also crashes constantly; a cutscene? Crash. Unlocking a new area on the map? Crash. I can only imagine what co-op would be like in this state. I'd like this game to be available on playstation; not only because it is my main gaming platform, but because I'm sure it will have a much better quality experience than on my phone or tablet. Not entirely sure why you wouldn't release a playstation version with the base release of the game, (I've seen many different sources saying playstation will be implemented at some point,) since I feel that would bring in more players quicker. I've heard this game has been in development for over two years; and yet cannot include other main gaming platforms for other players who can't access the ones available? Not to mention; I've seen quite a few reviews about how horrible the controller support is; the button placement and controls was atrocious. I haven't tried it myself, but I'm hoping it'll get better.

“Too many bugs they aren’t fixing them omg!” Yes they are?? Literally since launch on tues they had released over 18 mini updates to fix various bugs. They are working OVERTIME. I think tuesday was a much deserved break day because they didnt release any updates that day, but i can respect that. “Needs wifi to play on!!!” This is one of the complains of the top reviews (seriously?). EVERY GOOD GAME NEEDS WIFI TO PLAY ON YOU DILAPIDATED TRIANGLE. “Doesnt work without wifi!” OF COURSE IT DOESNT HAVE YOU PASSED THE THIRD GRADE? “Music is bland” Music is subjective but there is also a music bug going around where you cant hear the background music after it plays once (outside of jinzhou). This will definitely get fixed very soon because it is one of the main leading factors locking people from playing main quests. They refuse to continue because without the music the experience is gone. Fortunately i was able to find a way to get the music back for a short time, so i was able to experience the main story to the end WITH music. Even if the music is bland, if people keep saying things about it, it will probably get upgraded. Vanguard worked with them on Pgr but they seem to be a bit understaffed right now so they only made a few songs for Wuwa. Personally tho i quite like the music, loving the scifi feel and it definitely adds some emotion to the post apocalyptic theme.

Apple’s iPhone is Russia’s third most popular smartphone brand

Despite Apple dominating other global markets with the iPhone brand, the company is trailing in Russia, but some regions continue to show high interest in the company’s products. Most consumers in the country are, however, showing a preference for Asian smartphone brands.

Data presented by Burga — a company that makes mobile device accessories — indicates that Samsung is the most popular smartphone brand in Russia, with a market share of 34% as of quarter three (Q3) 2021. China-based Xiaomi ranks second with a share of 26%.

Apple comes in a distant third with a share of 15% more than half compared to Samsung. Elsewhere, Realme, also from China, is the fourth largest smartphone brand in Russia at 8%, followed by Poco at 3%.

Elsewhere, despite Apple recording a low market share in Russian, several regions are registering a high interest in the company’s latest device, iPhone 13, according to Burga.

As of Dec. 19,, Google search for the keyword ”iPhone 13” attained peak popularity of 100 in Moscow. In Sakhalin Oblast, the phrase has a score of 83 to rank second, while Moskovsky is third with the same score. Saint Petersburg is fourth with a popularity score of 80, followed by Kabardino-Balkaria at 70.

“Worth noting is that the reception of American brands in Russia has been impacted by the perennial tensions between the countries, a factor likely affecting Apple” per the Burga report. “A significant topic of contention involves privacy issues, with the U.S. accusing Russia of sponsoring hackers to infiltrate state agencies. In this line, Apple has opposed the government’s directive on selling devices with pre-installed Russian applications in it. Apple believes the move defeats the company’s stand on observing user privacy.”

Poster, Pelican – Drawing Ink., 1925

El Lissitzky (Lazar Markovich Lissitzky, 1890–1941) is known as the father of Constructivism. He combined photomontage and typography to create a progressive approach in the political graphic design of the young Soviet Union. With his Pelikan poster for the British market, El Lissitzky launched a new visual language in product advertising.

Pelikan Holding AG was founded in Hannover in 1838. The company initially focused on making writing inks and artists’ paints. El Lissitzky resided in Germany between 1922 and the beginning of 1925 and became acquainted with Dadaist Kurt Schwitters (1887–1948) in Hannover. Pelikan, with its openness to avant-garde trends, was the ideal customer for both artists. The poster from 1925 breaks with the painterly tradition of Pelikan advertising. The collage of a hand, inkpot, and compass unites photography and illustration. It is inspired by a famous, programmatic self-portrait of the artist from the same year that emphasized El Lissitzky’s image of himself as a constructor. Adolphe Mouron Cassandre (1901–1968) uses a painted aesthetic in his poster for Pacific cigarettes from 1935, which references El Lissitzky’s imagery with the open palm. In 1929, El Lissitzky designed another, purely typographic poster for Pelikan. (Bettina Richter)
