The 1975’s new ‘Still… At Their Very Best’ tour will see the band arriving in the UK and in 2024. Between the impressive staging, high concept performance art and surprise appearances from friends, the tour has been lauded as a band truly in their prime; a claim backed up by the plethora of five-star reviews from critics. The 1975 ‘Still… At Their Very Best’ will set the bar even higher, featuring newly expanded production.

The O 2 is the first arena worldwide to announce that it will be hosting ‘carbon removed’ events, in collaboration with carbon removal experts CUR8 and sustainable event specialists A Greener Future. Over The 1975 shows, The O2 will remove over 100 tonnes of residual carbon emissions per event, thereby neutralising the carbon impact, as part of an industry-leading pilot

These pilot events will use a portfolio of carbon removal methods to physically extract the carbon generated by the events from the atmosphere and durably store it out of harm’s way – a game-changing step on the path to helping the global live events industry reach genuine net-zero.

With A Greener Future’s expertise, the venue can now predict the emissions of an event in advance of it taking place, based on expected outputs for categories including catering, travel/transport and electricity, which equates to over 100 tonnes per show for The 1975 at The O 2 .

Using this data, the cost of removing the carbon associated with the events can be folded into the existing business model. AEG Europe, alongside The O 2 arena’s hospitality partner Levy UK + Ireland, have accounted for the removal costs in their operations, while emissions for audience travel are estimated based on travel surveys and covered by a 90p investment which has been incorporated into the event ticket price.

The 1975 today announce new dates on the UK and Europe leg of their ‘Still… At Their Very Best’ tour in February and March 2024.

Due to phenomenal presale demand, the band have announced additional shows in Glasgow, London and Manchester. The forthcoming UK and European tour, now including three nights back to back at London’s The O2, represent the band’s biggest ever shows in Europe and will be the final shows of the ‘Being Funny In A Foreign Language’ campaign.

Tickets for the UK and Europe tour, including the newly added dates in Glasgow, London and Manchester, go on general sale on tomorrow, Friday 8th September, at 10am BST.

The 1975’s new ‘Still… At Their Very Best’ tour will see the band play arenas across North America and Canada throughout the Autumn, including sold out shows at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and, for the first time ever, two back-back sold out nights at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden, before arriving in the UK and Europe in February and March 2024.

The band’s previous ‘At Their Very Best’ tour took in arenas across USA, Canada, UK & Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia across the last nine months with an impressive 500k+ tickets sold.

The 1975 also recently released a number of new limited edition formats of their debut album ‘The 1975’ to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the record. This includes a 4LP deluxe vinyl release containing ' The 1975' plus ‘ Facedown' EP, ‘ Sex' EP, ' Music For Cars' EP & ‘IV’ EP, plus a solid white vinyl release in gatefold sleeve, a limited edition white cassette and 2CD set containing the album plus live recording of ' The 1975' played in full live at Gorilla, Manchester earlier this year. New and classic era merchandise is also available from The 1975’s webstore.

Over the last decade, The 1975 have firmly established themselves the defining band of their generation with their distinctive aesthetic, passionate fanbase and unique sonic approach.

Released last October, the band’s fifth studio album ‘Being Funny In A Foreign Language’ was met with lavish praise, with The FACE labeling it “an album of massive tunes, pristine production and sincere romanticism” and Rolling Stone vowing the album saw the band “reassert themselves at the forefront of 2020s pop-rock”. It outsold the rest of the Top 5 combined to land the band their fifth Official UK Number 1 album in a row. The band were also crowned ‘Best Rock/Alternative Act’ at the 2023 BRIT Awards.

The 1975 announce biggest ever Europe tour and tickets go on sale seriously soon

The 1975 have announced dates for the UK and Europe leg of their new Still… At Their Very Best tour and it’s going to be huge.

The 22-date run, which includes two nights at London ’s The O2 , is set to be the indie rockers’ biggest shows in Europe and will bring a close to their 2022 album Being Funny In A Foreign Language era.

They’ll open at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on February 9 before heading to London, Manchester and Birmingham.

What’s more, presale opens in a matter of days, so you’ll want to hop to it.

After taking the UK by storm, the group will move on to Lisbon on February 26 with dates also lined up for Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Munich and more.

Before that, though, the rockers will kick off their tour in North America and Canada this autumn.

There’ll be shows at both The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and New York’s prestigious Madison Square Gardens.

The band’s previous At Their Very Best tour was praised for its innovative staging which featured a multi-levelled set designed like a 1990s-style home.

However, it also made headlines after frontman Matty Healy performed bizarre antics including completing a series of push-ups and eating a raw steak live on stage. Yum.

Oh, and did we mention that lawyers for The 1975 are currently working to resolve a dispute with organisers of a Malaysian music festival that’s claiming the band breached its contract .

During his band’s set at the Good Vibes festival in Kuala Lumpur in July, Healy made a speech about homosexuality – which is illegal in Malaysia – before kissing bassist Ross MacDonald on stage.

The three-day event was axed and other headliners including Australian singer-songwriter The Kid Laroi and American rock band The Strokes didn’t play.

Event management company, Future Sound Asia, demanded that the band pay over £2 million in damages due to Healy’s ‘indecent stage behaviour’ which allegedly caused the event to be cancelled.

Tickets for the UK and Europe tour will be available via fan presale on Wednesday September 6 at 10am, with tickets then on general sale on Friday September 8 at 10am.

The 1975 Still At Their Very Best 2023 UK & Ireland tour setlist in full: Songs Matty Healy and co perform at concerts across UK and Ireland

the-1975-at-their-very-best-tour-2023-setlist-uk-ireland-taylor-swift-being-funny-in-a-foreign-language-finsbury-park-matty-split-up.jpg

The 1975 are back at, by their own admission, their very best.

The influential pop-rock group, comprising Matty Healy, George Daniel, Adam Hann and Ross MacDonald, are taking their 2022 Number 1 album Being Funny In A Foreign Language on tour across the UK and Ireland this summer.

Their fifth-consecutive Number 1 LP in the UK, Being Funny In A Foreign Language saw Matty and co. team up with producer du jour Jack Antonoff for a body of work that sticks to the band's core '80s-inspired sound, deepening it in interesting new directions.

MORE: Where every The 1975 song and album charted in the UK

See the setlist for the tour in full below. The show takes tracks from each of the band's respective eras - their influential eponymous debut, 2016 mainstream pop breakthrough I like it when you sleep for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it, 2018's analytical A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships and 2020 scattershot Notes On A Conditional Form.

It seems like you're in for a real treat each night at the tour too, with Matty's performances frequently going viral. What will he do this time? Kiss a fan? Maybe eat some raw meat again? Bring out Taylor Swift again?

Always keeping us on our toes, that one.

The 1975: Still At Their Very Best Tour 2023 setlist in full - songs performed at Finsbury Park, London, UK on July 2

The 1975 have announced the UK and Europe leg of their ‘Still… At Their Very Best’ tour for early 2024.

The band will be playing five dates in the UK, including two nights at London’s O2 Arena, in February 2024. Following these, they will then be heading to Europe for a run of some of their biggest shows out there to date, lasting until the end of March.

It has been confirmed that these will be the final shows of the cycle for their 2022 album Being Funny In A Foreign Language . A leaked DM reportedly sent by their label Dirty Hit’s head Jamie Oborne circulated on the internet earlier this week, in which it was suggested these could be The 1975’s last tour dates “for a few years”.

Tickets will be available via Exclusive Fan pre-sale on Wednesday, September 6, before going on general sale on Friday, September 8.

Meanwhile, The 1975 are set to kick off the North American leg of the ‘Still… At Their Very Best’ tour next month, which will last until December and includes two back-to-back sold-out shows at New York’s famous Madison Square Garden.

The band headlined Reading and Leeds for the third time in four years at the weekend and filled in for Lewis Capaldi by playing their 2013 self-titled debut in full for its 10th anniversary.

Reviewing the first night of their UK tour earlier this year, Rolling Stone UK described it as “ a game-changing arena show for the ages “.

The 1975 are kicking off their year with a huge sold-out UK and Ireland arena tour.

The group will take their third studio album A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships on the road this month with two O2 Arena shows planned.

They'll headline the London venue on January 18-19.

The album received critical acclaim upon its release for its combination of different genres and themes, with comparisons to New Order and OK Computer.

It reached number one on the UK Albums Chart, becoming their third consecutive record to do so.

As well as their arena tour they'll also be headlining festivals across the globe this summer including Reading and Leeds, Glasgow's Summer Sessions, Mad Cool and Sziegt.

Find out if you can still get tickets, what the setlist could be and who's the support act for their UK tour and O2 Arena shows below.

Are tickets still available?

Tickets are officially sold out for both O2 Arena dates, but there's still a chance to get some.

You can purchase secondary tickets at face value or less from Twickets , a fan-to-fan ticket exchange service.

If you're looking for a specific ticket i.e. standing and there are currently none available, you can set up an alert to your phone or email so you'll be notified once one is listed - but you'll have to be quick.

The best day to get these tickets will be on the day of the show when typically more are posted.

Go to twickets.co.uk to find out more.

Another way to get tickets to the show is to win them. The group's record label Dirty Hit tweeted that fans should follow their account and retweet them on the day of the show for a chance to win tickets for that city.

What will the setlist be?

Here's the setlist from the opening night of the tour in Belfast, according to setlist.fm:

Pale Waves released their debut album My Mind Makes Noises back in September, which featured singles There's A Honey, Television Romance and Kiss.

Meanwhile No rome collaborated with The 1975 on his track Narcissist, and also released songs Seventeen and Do It Again.

The 1975’s five-album career has encompassed glossy pop, punk, garage rock, electro-funk, country and so much more. The English rockers have designed a unique approach to songwriting and amassed an incredible following and ardent fanbase through their music which explores mental health, addiction, climate change and nihilism – to reference just a few songs. Latest album, 2002’s ‘Being Funny In A Foreign Language’, was praised for its enigmatic and ‘contradictory’ songcraft and their viral ‘At Their Very Best Tour’ executed a show-within-a-show concept whilst delivering a tirade of hits.

Paul will bring his acclaimed Got Back tour to Europe this December!

Fulfilling his promise to 'get back', Paul will return to France, Spain and the UK with his Got Back  tour. Earlier this month, Paul announced his first live shows of 2024 with the next leg of the tour launching in South America this October.

With songs like ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Live and Let Die’, ‘Band on the Run’,  ‘Let It Be’ and so many more, the Paul McCartney live experience is everything any music lover could ever want from a rock show: hours of the greatest moments from the last 60 years of music – dozens of songs from Paul’s solo, Wings and of course Beatles catalogues that have formed the soundtracks of our lives.

This will mark Paul’s first European show since his iconic Glastonbury headlining performance in 2022. Hailed as “one of the greatest gigs of all time” by The Times and “a masterclass from the greatest living cultural figure in this country’s history” by The i, it was also Paul and his band’s 500th show together! These dates will see McCartney return for his first live performance in Paris in six years - in 2018 he played at La Defense Arena, where he is making his return. The wait has been longer for Spaniards, where he last played eight years ago, in 2016 at Estadio Vincente Calderon.

Paul launched his Got Back tour in 2022, completing 16 huge shows across the US before performing his history-making set at Glastonbury in June 2022. In 2023 Paul performed 18 incredible shows as the Got Back tour rocked through Australia, Mexico and Brazil.
