Customer Stories

I researched different makes and models. Talked to people in RV parks, and read online blogs by RV owners. I especially did research on true 4-season builds/RV’s. And customer support, factory response, and satisfaction. And New Horizons was an obvious fit for quality and customer service.

We both recently retired and wanted a simpler life of RVing. With going full time we wanted to customize our coach. While also wanting a high end, quality fifth wheel. So that traveling through the US was as comfortable as ever. And New Horizons fit that bill perfectly.

We placed our order in December 2020. The common thread through my RV life is buying products, where the company building the products feels like family. Anytime I needed service, I usually drove to the factory. The techs, managers, and everyone else I met there, became dear friends. And the same feeling was clear when I took factory tours at New Horizons. There was pride in the work being done. So choosing New Horizons was a pretty easy decision.

We needed a unit that could go over the railroad tracks 6,000 times. We needed a rig to travel the country and be our sole home. Finding a “Pre-Owned” unit was like hitting the jackpot, and got our feet wet. We are now better informed as to what will and won’t work for us comfortably. The quality of New Horizons construction gave us the confidence to buy “Pre-Owned”. Without having to worry about the longevity of our home.

We saw many happy campers on youtube emphasizing how home-like and comfortable their New Horizons RV’s are. We searched for 2 years, going through many brands and manufacturers. We were disappointed in their build quality. Nothing touched what New Horizons is making. We were able to make some changes to suit our needs. And now we wake up feeling at home in our HOME, not a camper.

We took possession of our custom built 5th wheel from New Horizons in April 2019. The experience from sitting down to build our new home to today has been everything we had hoped for. A quality product and quality customer service after the sale.

Bottom line, if you are looking for a quality fifth wheel, there is only one choice: New Horizons.

New Horizons Orientation

Being completely new to all this, we have had so much help from New Horizons owners, RVers in general, the entire New Horizons staff, and just random people throughout all the research that brought us to this point.

We spent an entire week going over our New Horizons and asked a million questions and did all the things that everyone tells you to do in the beginning. These units are extremely high quality with very complex components and systems so learning all of it is a challenge. I definitely have a newfound respect for all the folks who participate in making these RVs become a reality from the ground up.

When you walk into your new home and see what it has become after seeing pictures of steel, wheels, wires, plumbing, cabinets, etc., it is absolutely stunning to see the finished product. So now we’ve completed the orientation in our rig and are anxiously awaiting the completion of our truck upfitting so that we can begin our travels in our New Horizons home.

We especially appreciate the quality workmanship of every production worker from the welding shop, to lamination, to cabinetry, to final finish and everyone in between.
