TV PERFORMANCES 

August 1, 2000 :  Janet tapes a performance of “Doesn’t Really Matter” in a Los Angeles studio for British Show Top Of The Pops.

September 7, 2000 :  Janet opens the MTV Video Music Awards ceremony with a performance of “Doesn’t Really Matter” at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

March 10, 2001 :  Janet is the first artist to be honored with the MTV Icon Award during a TV Special on MTV. Janet attends the show taping in L.A along with Terry Lewis, Jimmy Jam, Katherine & Joe, Missy Elliot, Britney Spears and many others at Sony Studios in Culver City, California. Several artist pay tribute to Janet with speeches by Stevie Wonder, Aaliya and performaces by Macy Gray, The Destiny’s Child, Usher, Pink, Mya & Nsync. At the end, Jermaine, Jackie, Marlin & Tito go on stage to congratulate Janet and Michael appears via a prepped video. Janet & The Kids perform All For You for the first time.

March 13, 2001 :  MTV Icon honoring Janet Jackson is aired on MTV.

March 15, 2001 :  Janet performs “All For You” at the Echo Awards in Berlin, Germany.

March 17, 2001 :  Janet performs “All For You” on Wetten Dass in Munich, Germany.

March 19, 2001  : Janet performs “All For You” on Late Night With Luuk in Stockholm.

March 20, 2001 : In London, Janet tapes a performance of All For You on Top Of The Pops which airs on March 30 and another on CD:UK which airs on March 22.

March 28, 2001 :  Janet performs “All For You” on French TV show “Graines De Star” in Paris.

March 29, 2001 : Janet tapes a performance of “All For You” on Top Of The Pops (aired on April 20).

March 31, 2001 :  Janet performs “All For You” on CD:UK in London.

April 2, 2001 :  Janet performs “All For You” on French TV show Tapis Rouge in Paris.

April 4, 2001 :  Janet performs “All For You” on French TV show Hit Machine in Paris.

April 7, 2001 :  Janet performs “All For You” at the TMF Awards in Rotterdam.

April 8, 2001 : Janet performs “All For You” at Quelli Il Calcio in Milan, Italy and then she flies back to New York City.

February 16, 2002 : 72nd and last concert of the All For You Tour in Hawaii with a surprise appearance by Missy Elliot during the song “Son Of A Gun”. The concerts airs the day after on HBO.

September 6, 2001 : Janet attends the MTV Video Music Awards with Gil. Along with Missy Elliot, she pays tribute to Aaliyah. Michael makes a surprise appearance to dance with N’Sync at the end of their performance.

December 4, 2001 : Live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Puff Daddy & Missy Elliot present Janet with a special Award of Achievement during the Billboard Awards ceremony.

January 9, 2002 : Janet gives a press conference in Tokyo, Japan and then she accepts an American Music Awards via satellite.

January 16, 2002 : Janet appears at an album signing at an HMV store in Tokyo . While at the signing, Janet is interviewed by the radio station J-Wave 81.3 FM and is presented with an award for having the best selling album of 2001 at HMV stores.

February 27, 2002  : Janet, along with singer Gloria Estefan and actor Matthew McConaughey, presents the Album of the Year award to the “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” soundtrack during the Grammy Awards Ceremony held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

March 8, 2002 : Jimmy Jam presents Janet with the Entertainer Of  The Year Award at the NABOB Awards in Washington DC.

March 24, 2002 : Janet attends the Vanity Fair Oscar Party at Morton’s in West Hollywood, California where she gets to see Diana Ross.

April 14, 2002 : Janet opens the MTV Icon ceremony with a speech in tribute of Aerosmith held at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California.

April 20, 2002 : Janet is presented with the “Wannabe Award” at the Nickoldeon Kids Choice Awards held at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

May 31, 2002 : Janet is presented  with the first ever Essence Awards Reader’s Choice Entertainer of the Year Award at the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles .  Later in the evening she also presents producing team Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis with the Excellence in Music Award.

June 20, 2002 : Janet is presented with the Recording Academy’s Governors Award at the annual National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences Luncheon at Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills. Katherine, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, Randy, Rebbie, Yashi and Jimmy Jam attend the event.

June 25, 2002 : Janet presents the Video Of The Year Award to Puff Daddy at the BET Awards at The Kodak Theater in Hollywood, California. Rebbie and Austin Brown attend the ceremony.

June 28, 2002 : Janet inducts Kathleen Battle into the Hollywood Bowl Hall Of Fame.
