Terrible terms and conditions

I have just been advised by this company that although I advised them that I had to cancel my cruise because of my wife's ill health over 2 months ahead They still charged me £2521 cancellation fee as per their terms and conditions which states that they require the notice before your payment settlement date Just be warned of this company's ridiculous terms and conditions

Contacted cruise 118 today with a problem with the coach company. spoke with Mollie with type talk (slowly) me that is. Mollie did above and beyond what I expected to try and resolve the problem for me, eventually ringing P+O to verify latest boarding time if I was unable to get the coach. Fortunately I was able to reserve a seat on the coach after 2 hours of calls being not answered or dropped. so first class service from Mollie and cruise 118. THANK YOU. Frank

Good first experience

An example of going the extra mile

I have recently left a complimentary review of the professional, friendly and highly effective response from Emily (customer services) who to my great relief seems to me to have gone and done it again. Without going into detail issues arose over excursions, premium plans, and the new Princess Medallion app to the point where we were starting to panic as we embark on the 8th June. As before a call to Emily resolved it all with a detailed explanation and suggested solution within a few hours. We followed it and we are now sleeping peacefully again!! I have always liked Cruise118 because the prices are great and this year I won a free cruise in their 15 year prize draw. I recently dealt with Brittany to book my next cruise and she was fab. Whilst all of their staff are friendly, Brittany went over and above and I felt she was very knowledgeable and “safe” in her hands that she wouldn’t steer me wrong. I have my first experience to move on cruise before booking I constantly asked the concerned person that I am a doctor,senior citizen and recently kidney transplant patient so I can't move to get other visas for my trip.i have got only British multiple 10 year visit visa.So the sakes person was in hurry to book my cruise and didn't not tell me about France stop during the cruise excusion.I paid all the amount in cash,now after 5 days they call me that u can not travel without transit visa of France.what does this mean because at the time of booking I applied only for British isles trip , I was not informed that I will be needing any further visas at the time of booking even though I explained my situation over and over again and specifically asked for British. Isles only . I am unsatisfied and this is adversely effecting my health .Today on 8th June I along with family hired a taxi from London to Southampton after clearing all itenrary with cruise agent that I will take off at edinbrough as I have no other visa except UK. I complete all requirement ,the moment I reached to embarcation area,the lady and head of the team totally refused to board us.although v tried our best to convince them.really it hurt me I think there is no proper communication between the agents and cruise authority at Port I want to know who it responsible for my physical mental and financial compensation .I need proper responce

When a ‘Best Price Guarantee’ is not.

I have been looking for a cruise with MSC YC for our 52nd wedding anniversary and found Cruise118 we’re offering a 8% discount and there website said ‘Best Price Guaranteed’. We usually book through our travel agent but since they moved they don’t work at weekends. As Cruise118 said it was a Weekend Flash Sale I thought I would book with them. I booked and paid in full for the cruise and thought I would check other websites where I found companies offering a 10% discount. I contacted Cruise118 who are not honouring their ‘Best Price Guaranteed’ statement and referred me to their booking conditions.

Terrible terms and conditions

I have just been advised by this company that although I advised them that I had to cancel my cruise because of my wife's ill health over 2 months ahead They still charged me £2521 cancellation fee as per their terms and conditions which states that they require the notice before your payment settlement date Just be warned of this company's ridiculous terms and conditions

Contacted cruise 118 today with a problem with the coach company. spoke with Mollie with type talk (slowly) me that is. Mollie did above and beyond what I expected to try and resolve the problem for me, eventually ringing P+O to verify latest boarding time if I was unable to get the coach. Fortunately I was able to reserve a seat on the coach after 2 hours of calls being not answered or dropped. so first class service from Mollie and cruise 118. THANK YOU. Frank

Gavin Chadwick was amazing

Gavin Chadwick was amazing. He was patient, helpful and informative. He couldn't do enough to help me find the right cruise, fare and cabin. He had a great sense of humour, had worked in the ship I am cruising on, so gave me lots of tips. All in all he was a pleasure to deal with.

Good first experience

This was the first time I had booked with 118.com and chose them as they were offering a better price than other cruise booking sites. The whole process was very quick and efficient . The travel consultant was friendly and helpful and was able to complete my booking quickly getting us the our preferrred cabin and a better price .The confirmation and other documents have been quickly received via email.

As this was our first time booking a cruise I was quite nervous and apprehensive. Ellis went over and above to get us connecting flights and accommodation heavily discounted as well which we really appreciated. Very helpful and informative during the whole booking process. Dale was great

Dale was great, found us the best deal for our holiday. The flight booking reference appears incorrect though so I have been unable to access the flight to book seats and I have'nt heard back about that when I queried it with him

Easy online booking.

The online booking experience worked very well until I came to make the payment by credit card. I put all the details in but could not input the security number. I had to start over again. Other than that, really easy.

As usual cruise 118 were very helpful and dealt with my options very quickly hence is why I continually use cruise 118

Extremely helpful Cruise Concierge

Seamless process for booking the cruise with add-ons over the telephone. Sophie, the cruise concierge was extremely helpful, organised everything at such short notice with perfection. Have used Cruise 118 before for all the cruise + holiday bookings including Rocky mountaineer Express tour and never been let down by amazing staff. Would recommend wholeheartedly to anyone looking for incredible holiday.

This is the second time I have booked with 118 and the service I received from Scarlett has been second to none. Nothing was to much trouble for her and believe me, I was looking at a number of cruises, The customer service is outstanding, even when I had a problem, Scarlett was there to advise me so knowing someone is there to support again is a real positive.
