Get to Know Carnival Paradise
We broke the mold after we made this one. The final Fantasy class cruise ship ever created, Carnival Paradise is proof that there's plenty of fun to be found long before you reach your dream destination. This ship remains classic Carnival — fun-packed from bow to stern — but on the other hand, we've never stopped adding fresh new features. So now you can grab something cold, or sweet… or maybe even hot, at JavaBlue ™ Café. Meet the new Cloud 9 Spa ™ , featuring a full menu of, ahhh, spa treatments. We also added a Bonsai Sushi Express ™ , so you can take your fresh sushi, sashimi, rolls and more, to go, someplace fun. By the way, on Carnival Paradise you'll find great times in and near the H2O courtesy of pools, hot tubs and even a Carnival WaterWorks ™ waterpark featuring a huge spiraling slide, plus a pair of racing slides. At Seuss at Sea ™ the characters always make a splash with an interactive storytime and parade, plus this ship features three age-perfect youth programs. Great live entertainment, like The Punchliner Comedy Club ™ , Playlist Productions ™ and piano bar, happens up on stage… bravo! If you're talking tasty classics, you're going to find two of our top casual spots: Guy's Burger Joint ™ , featuring the goods from Guy Fieri, and BlueIguana Cantina ™ , with authentic south-of-the-border taco/burrito goodness. Refreshments — and good times — abound with RedFrog Rum Bar ® and BlueIguana Tequila Bar ™ . And a little closer to home (well, your vacation home), Carnival Paradise features even more balcony staterooms than before. Feel that breeze! Spend a vacation aboard Carnival Paradise, and you'll find a little slice of cruise paradise at sea.

Port of Call Port of Call (Arrival, Departure)
One of Texas's most popular year-round coastal destinations, Galveston is an island in the Gulf of Mexico 50 miles southeast of Houston, connected to the mainland by a causeway and bridge. The island is a marriage of the best of both worlds: it is both city and seaside resort. It offers historical and cultural attractions, as well as swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing. The restored Victorian Strand district, resort hotels, and beachfront businesses give a commercial feel to the north end of the island, while miles of private and rental residences on the southern end offer solitude and open beach access. Once one of the world's great port cities, Galveston was nearly devastated by a hurricane in 1900. More than 6,000 residents were killed by the storm, and many structures were demolished. The hurricane prompted city officials to raise the island and add a seawall, making Galveston a safe place to visit today. After the 1900 hurricane and the opening of the Houston ship channel, Galveston lost its position as Texas's busiest seaport and the street known as the Strand -- formerly the site of stores, offices, and warehouses -- faded as a bustling center of commerce. In the 1950s, preservationists launched Galveston's renaissance by restoring stately homes and building up commercial districts with modern facilities. The Strand, now on the National Register of Historic Places, has one of the largest collections of historic buildings in the country. A resort city with a southern flair, Galveston is a petite and blended version of New Orleans and Charleston.
Once the Imperial Maya’s Port of Call now Puerto Costa Maya is the leader in culture and adventure travel in the Mexican Caribbean! Explore the wonders of the Mayan Coast, the incredible Great Maya Reef astounding architectural feats, endless white beaches and the mysterious sacred cities of the ancient Maya. Discover for yourself the wild, unexplored beauty of the Mayan Coast.
Belize City
Belize City is located in the heart of the country. From there you will be able to make your connection to everywhere else you want to go; from taking a bus to go north and visiting the Community Baboon Sanctuary, Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary and other attractions to catching a boat to the Cayes to taking a bus to visit relaxing Placencia, the adventurous Cockscomb Basin, the only Jaguar Reserve in the world to the mysterious archaeological sites such as Caracol and Xunantunich and the interesting Mountain Pine Ridge area. Not only is Belize City your gateway to mystic Maya Sites (only found in Central America), adventurous caves, rivers, unique flora, fauna and relaxing breathtaking beaches, but it is also filled with history. Belize City has the only manual swing bridge in the world which is still being swung daily. The oldest Anglican Cathedral Church in Central America, St. John's Cathedral, was built in 1812 from bricks brought as ballast from European sailing ships. Over the years, Government House (now the House of Culture Museum) was used as an administrative office and living quarters for the governors of Belize. This was built in early 1800 with a combination of Caribbean Vernacular and English Urban architecture. The Lighthouse monument at Fort George Point towers over the harbor entrance. This was built form money donated to the country by Belize's greatest benefactor - Baron Bliss, the 5th baron of Portugal. At his request, he was entombed in front of the lighthouse which he designed himself prior to his death. City tours are available offering in-depth history of the city.
The beautiful island of Cozumel, the largest inhabited island in Mexico, is a paradise for divers from all over the world. The island is surrounded by more than 25 reef formations where divers of all ages and skills can enter into a completely fascinating and different world: endless coral inhabited by immense shoals of colorful fish. The possibilities are interminable for both beginners and experts. East of the Yucatán Peninsula, on top of the age-old structures of the Mayan coral reef, the second largest in the world, stands the Island of Cozumel, the largest inhabited island in Mexico. Its name, derived from the word Cuzamil, meaning “island of swallows” in Maya, conjures up memories of its pre-Hispanic origin, the conquest of America and the pirates and buccaneers that thronged its seas. The Island of Cozumel measures 48 km from north to south but only 16 from east to west. On either side of the island, beaches form a long, white sandy coast. Gentle waves and transparent waters wash the western side of the island, while huge waves crash against the eastern side. Its flora and fauna have a number of unusual features and include certain endemic species, such as the dwarf raccoon and the Cozumel wren. Cozumel’s greatest wealth, however, lies underwater.

Main Dining Room
Main Dining
Main Dining Room: Carnival's Main Dining Room brings you a full three-course menu in an experience that’s satisfying, but never stuffy. Drop in nightly and enjoy a rotating menu of delectable favorites like steak, roasted duck, scallops, prime rib, and, of course, sinfully delicious desserts.
Specialty Dining
Bonsai Sushi: Dine amidst expertly pruned bonsai trees while enjoying sit-down service and an affordable menu of delectable catches, plus soups, sides, sakes, and desserts. This restaurant is available for an additional cost.
Coffee Bar: Treat yourself to a well-deserved break with a specialty coffee drink or freshly-brewed tea with some delicious homemade pastries. Or, for an even sweeter option, stop by for a milkshake, slice of cake or cookie. This restaurant is available for an additional cost.
Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast: Sit down to a truly fantastical feast at the Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast with The Cat in the Hat and Friends™. Bright colors and patterns decorate your table, which features fun and unique menus. Feast! Feast! Feast! Lose yourself exploring a delicious menu where you'll find "Green Eggs and Ham," brightly colored fruit, gravity-defying pancake stacks, funky French toast, "Moose Juice" 'n' "Goose Juice"… and much more. (Classic breakfast offerings are available as well.) Breakfast is also the perfect time to meet and greet the stars of Dr. Seuss — characters will be around for special photo opportunities and fun interactions, making this a meal to remember. This restaurant is available for an additional cost.
Seafood Shack: A good seafood dish is quite the catch. However you like yours served — whether it’s on a roll, in a salad or atop a platter — Seafood Shack’s the place to cast your net. Imagine a New England-style seaside spot where you can take it all in, enjoying a great meal complete with a side of ocean view. This restaurant is available for an additional cost.
Steakhouse: The menu features premium cuts of beef cooked to your specifications, as well as a fantastic selection of seafood, entrées, gourmet appetizers and an extensive wine list. Like any destination restaurant, reservations for Steakhouse are highly recommended. Your meal includes an appetizer, salad, entrée, side and dessert. This restaurant is available for an additional cost.
Steakhouse Selections: Whoever said you can’t always get what you want certainly never said it on a Carnival cruise. Odds are that something from our steakhouse sounds good — filet mignon, New York Strip, lobster, or surf and turf. Now you can get these signature steakhouse dishes anytime you’re enjoying dinner in the main dining room. This option is available for an additional cost.
The Chef’s Table: Treat your taste buds to a unique culinary event hosted by one of Carnival's master chefs. Your VIP experience begins with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres for a select group of 14, followed by a galley tour. The evening’s highlight is a full-service dinner of amazing appetizers, entrees and desserts not found on the regular menus. Seating is limited, so reserve early at the ship’s Guest Services desk. This restaurant is available for an additional cost.
24-Hour Room Service: There’s a menu of salads, sandwiches and sweet stuff — completely free — during the day, plus hot food options available for a small fee. Late-night menu options (after 10 p.m.) are also available for a small fee.
Pizzeria del Capitan
Casual Dining
BlueIguana Cantina: The BlueIguana Cantina features freshly made tacos and burritos. Throw homemade tortillas and salsa into the mix, and you have a casual dining experience that will have you coming back for more.
Guy’s Burger Joint: Carnival has teamed up with celebrity chef Guy Fieri to bring all the authentic appeal of a roadside burger shack to Guy's Burger Joint, the cool poolside spot for hot burgers and hand-cut fries. Try a fresh-off-the-grill burger Guy's way, or take it off-road to the toppings bar and truly make it your own.
Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que: Enjoy a wide variety of BBQ favorites smoked right on board over hickory and cherry wood using Guy’s signature recipes, rubs and spices. Throw in sides like Mac Daddy Mac n Cheese, Old Skool Potato Salad and Collard Greens and you’ve got a rockin’ sea day on deck.
Lido Marketplace: Featuring an amazing variety of casual dining spots, each just a few flip-flopped steps from the last, Lido Marketplace always has a special something ready to satisfy your latest craving spectacularly. Here Carnival does it with dozens of what-to-eat options... great choices like BBQ, a deli counter, salad bar, an Asian station and a pasta bar... plus one spot where the chef serves up a different surprise daily! At Lido Marketplace, there's tons of indoor and outdoor seating made for gathering around, so you can enjoy your personal faves in your favorite company for lunch or dinner, or even breakfast! Lido's also where you can find soft serve, frozen yogurt and fresh pizza 24-hours a day.
Mongolian Wok: Create your own dish at the Mongolian Wok. First, select your noodles and veggies. Then tell the chef which sauce and meat you want in the wok. Will it be mussels and Szechuan? Beef and Thai barbecue? Chicken and black bean? Come back to Mongolian Wok and try all the combos your heart desires!
Pizzeria del Capitano: Featuring piping hot slices right out of the oven, with your choice of toppings, Pizzeria del Capitano is the good kind of cheesy — the best reason to stop in for a taste of hand-tossed specialties made with fresh mozzarella. This place rolls out pizzas and Caesar salad 24 hours a day.
Seaday Brunch: At Seaday Brunch, you can sleep in and still enjoy breakfast favorites, while early risers get a head start on lunch. You’ll enjoy huevos rancheros, special French toast, loaded mac-n-cheese and more ways to cook eggs than you may have thought possible.
Swirls: Swirls ice cream entices with sweet frozen treats around the clock! Choose from chocolate, vanilla or strawberry. Open on Lido deck 24/7, frozen yogurt and soft-serve ice cream is a great way to beat the heat all day, or the perfect nightcap after a long evening of fun.
The Carnival Deli: Craving a little taste from the old neighborhood? Enjoy old-time favorites like a hot pastrami on rye, a grilled Reuben or roasted turkey breast on a country roll. Sandwiches and wraps are always hand-carved, and served fresh with coleslaw or relish and a kosher dill pickle.

- Carnival Details 2027 Cruise Itineraries, Adds Sailings to Celebration Key
Andrea Santillan
- August 28, 2024
Carnival Cruise Line revealed its cruise line-up for 2026 to 2027. Its new cruising options sail from U.S. homeports, including Baltimore, Galveston, Port Canaveral, and Miami.
Many itineraries feature visits to the expanded Half Moon Cay, the cruise line’s private getaway in the Bahamas.
Departing From Miami
Discover the Eastern and Western Caribbean through seven-day cruises onboard Carnival Celebration. The Excel-class cruise ship will call on San Juan, St. Thomas, Mahogany Bay, Cozumel, Amber Cove, Nassau, and Grand Turk during spring 2027.
Guests will also experience the cruise line’s exclusive destinations in the Bahamas, Half Moon Cay, and the soon-to-open Celebration Key .
From Port Canaveral
During weeklong itineraries, Mardi Gras will also tour the Caribbean and Carnival’s exclusive Bahamian resorts. Until spring 2027, these sailings feature port calls in Mahogany Bay, Cozumel, Nassau, Amber Cover, and Grand Turk.
Carnival’s “Italian-style ship,” Carnival Venezia , offers similar destinations during its seasonal 7-day voyages.
Additionally, passengers can opt for longer 14-day Carnival Journeys. These two-week vacations will head to Antigua, St. Kitts, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Dominica, Barbados, Grenada, Curacao, and Aruba.
From Galveston
Carnival Jubilee will embark on weeklong travels to Costa Maya, Mahogany Bay, and Cozumel. From September 2026 onwards, passengers can join six-day voyages to Mahogany Bay and Cozumel. The Jubilee’s eight-day cruises will explore Celebration Key, Half Moon Cay, and Nassau.
Carnival Dream’s Caribbean sailings include six-, seven-, eight-, and 14-day options, with several cruises stopping at Celebration Key and Half Moon Cay. The 14-day sailing features destinations like Barbados, Ocho Rios, St. Kitts, St. Thomas, St. Croix, and St. Maarten.
Carnival Breeze offers four-, five-, and eight-day cruises to Mexico. The shortest itinerary will be to head to Cozumel, while the five-day voyage includes visiting Yucatan (Progreso). The Dream-class vessel’s longest trip adds Costa Maya, Grand Cayman, and Montego Bay to its list of destinations.
From Baltimore
The Spirit-class vessel offers three 14-day Carnival Journeys. One sailing will head to Greenland and Canada, while two will explore Caribbean destinations like Tortola, Barbados, Aruba, and more.
Shorter, seven-day cruises from Baltimore will visit Princess Cays or Half Moon Cay, Celebration Key, and Nassau.
Celebration Key
Carnival Cruise Line’s newest resort in the Bahamas , Celebration Key, will open when these itineraries sail.
Scheduled for a July 2025 opening, Carnival released details and illustrations of the $600 million resort last June. One of its most striking amenities is the Starfish Lagoon, built around one of the region’s largest freshwater lagoons.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO Mexico Cruises Insider
Mexico is ready for you to explore at any time of year. In general, the weather is best between December and April — there's little rain, and the temperatures are very comfortable. The wet season starts in May and ends in October, while hurricane season (affecting mostly the Caribbean side) starts in June and runs until November.
When you travel to Mexico, one of the best ways to enjoy the country is by immersion. Try the local food, shop the local markets, and choose excursions that allow you to spend time getting to know a specific neighborhood, historic site or natural wonder.
Learn a few phrases in Spanish and speak to waiters, vendors, tour guides and everyday people. Ask about places to eat, the history or the music. Get out of your comfort zone and reach out to the people who know the country best — they can let you know where to go for the best price on that souvenir you're seeking or which beachside spot makes the best margarita.

Haggling on prices at local markets is par for the course here — just make sure you know a few words of Spanish, and don't ask the vendor to go unreasonably low.
Mexico's tiered bus system is a great way to get around affordably: Choose the first ("primero") or platinum ("platino") options for the high-end treatment.
There's a more lax attitude about time in Mexico so factor in an extra half-hour to an hour when planning out your Mexico cruise itineraries.
FOR THE FOODIE'S SABROSO IS THE WORD
Sabroso means delicious, which is synonymous with Mexico's cuisine. Known the world over for its originality when it comes to multilayered flavors that focus on spice, Mexican food boasts dishes like mole, cochinita pibil and tacos al pastor. When in Mexico, go where the locals are eating and enjoy the salsas, the spices and the crunch.
MOLE POBLANO
A saucy and popular delicacy, mole poblano is made with chili peppers and chocolate and is poured over chicken and then topped with sesame seeds.
Tamales are a steamed masa, or a corn-based dough filled with meats, cheeses, vegetables, chili peppers or fruits. The masa is wrapped inside of a leaf and steamed. Discard the leaf and chow down on the stuffed dough for a traditional treat.
CHILAQUILES
Fried tortillas take a swim in spicy red salsa or refreshing green salsa for a savory dish commonly enjoyed during breakfast.
