Our journey begins at the trailhead, nestled within the scenic wilderness of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Your experienced guide will welcome you and provide an overview of the upcoming hike.
As we venture along the trail, you’ll have the chance to appreciate the diverse flora and fauna of this area. Depending on the season, we may sample various wild edible plants during our hike. The forest canopy above provides a serene atmosphere as you walk through the wilderness.
Our hike will lead us through winding forest paths and include visits to scenic overlooks that offer panoramic vistas of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our full day hike involves a hand line to ascend a rock slope that allows us to experience a touch of excitement. The half day trip is not as challenging but still includes amazing views!
As we conclude our adventure back at the trailhead, you’ll depart with a sense of tranquility and a deeper connection to the natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

They are there and the AVL Ride cab company too, but having your own access to a car is highly recommended for drives on the Blue Ridge Parkway and to trail heads for hiking.
