8 Influential Couple Travel Bloggers to Follow and Get Inspired By

' src=

Dan and I are a husband and wife travel blogging team, who are a part of a wonderful world of couple travel bloggers.

There are SO MANY couples who travel around the globe – near and far to where they live – every day, every week, month, and year. We're so proud to be a part of the traveling couples community.

And, furthermore, we are proud to be a part of a small percentage of those couples who LOVE to share their travel knowledge with the world through their travel blogs and associated social media accounts.

We know there are so many more inspirational travel-blogging couples than what we've posted here. But hopefully, it inspires you to keep your eyes open for more that are out there!

We've chosen to list bloggers we know well on some level, for having followed them for a while and/or having met them in person. Many are people we consider friends! While we know there are dozens more travel blogging couples to adore and follow, we've stuck to this criteria.

We also know a bunch of travel bloggers we love who write about family travel, but – y'all: it's a couples travel blog post . So we're not mentioning the family bloggers here, even though we love 'em!

Disclosure: There are affiliate links in this post, which means we may earn a small commission if you click the link and proceed with a purchase, at no cost to you . We truly only recommend hotels, products, and services we personally use. As Amazon Associates, we earn from qualifying purchases.

HoneyTrek, Anne and Mike

Anne and Mike aren't just amazing travel bloggers who inspire us to go to locations we wouldn't have thought of in ways we wouldn't have thought of. (Aka: a camper!) But they're INCREDIBLY warm, welcoming, and friendly people in the travel community.

Couple sitting on a rock with blue water and landscaping behind them.

Their books, Ultimate Journeys for Two and Comfortably Wild , are the kind you need to buy printed copies of to have on your shelf or coffee table. (We should know – we have them!) This way, when you're sitting on the couch and watching tv thinking, “Man, I need to get off my ass and explore,” they're just an arm's length away to grab for inspiration.

Anne and Mike don't participate in any “holier than thou” stuff even though their travel resumes, so to speak, would certainly allow them a few bragging rights.

It's extra nice they're so down-to-Earth because they're a little bit famous too! Proof: Go behind the scenes of their NATIONAL (yes, national!) Microsoft commercial . NBD. (Riiiggghttttt…..)

They're inspiring and RELATABLE.

Bobo and Chichi, Megan and Scott

We were in awe of Megan and Scott's technical skills, writing and ability to connect with others from the first time we met the couple known as “Bobo and Chichi” on the interwebs. And then we met them in person and it was magic!

We adore them and whether we're talking on Facebook, or meeting up during non-pandemic-times in NYC, they're always at the top of our list for who we want to see and keep in touch with.

Couple sitting cross-legged on a bed in dark red bathrobes in a woodsy-feeling, darkly lit room.

Their sense of humor? Resonate with us. Their kid-free, city-dwelling lifestyle? Also resonates. Their quirkiness? Resonates with us.

After Megan and Scott met in California and started dating, they moved to South Korea to pursue a dream of living abroad. (We had no idea Korea has so many love holidays until they educated us !) And they've been helping destinations and brands communicate their stories ever since in the most awe-inspiring ways.

They started a niche site during the pandemic, like us. (Their NYC site, Your Brooklyn Guide , is to our cruise niche site, Sometimes Sailing ). And they are always inspiring us to think outside the box, whether they know it or not.

Their video quality is sick . And I don't use that 90s term lightly.

If you haven't seen their Instagram videos and photography (@boboandchichi) you're missing out.

Justin Plus Lauren, Lauren and Justin (of course)

This Canadian couple is as sweet as sugar (um, hello – they're Canadian!) and they write about vegan travel as well. The title of their blog literally says Adventure + Kind travel. But not just to humans….to the Earth and its environment as well. ( Save the planet !)

Couple in the foreground to the right of the image with a waterfall and rainbow in the background.

We know their blog is providing valuable inspiration to couples traveling as vegans and to everyone who wants to be a more eco-conscious traveler. And we don't know a lot of people who love the Earth who don't want to be kinder to it.

We love warm weather but their post about visiting Niagara Falls during winter had us wanderlusting for a winter trip north to Buffalo…and across the border to the Canadian side of the falls.

Lauren is also ever-inspiring with her niche site, Ontario Hiking . It's quickly become a leading authority to help people safely hike this Canadian province.

Wanderlust Marriage, Bell and Alex

Not only does this couple travel the world together, but they met while they were traveling. (At a hostel in Bruges, Belgium, to be precise.) How's that for a surefire way to know if the person you're meeting is cool with international travel or not?

Couple in front of a plateau and blue sky.

Bell is Australian and Alex is American. If they're not traveling the world they can be found on the east coast of the USA planning their next adventure. While I always want to be with Dan the truth is that we travel separately once in a while, as do Alex and Bell. It's 100% healthy for a couple and their intriguing “ Does solo travel in marriage make you a bad spouse? ” article reminds us of this.

They've helped us grow as fellow couple travel bloggers in so many ways. We meet up with them whenever we can, whether it was in Amsterdam when our schedules overlapped during travels in 2019, or at TBEX (a travel conference), or online in the same travel forums.

We adore them and they're always inspiring us.

Coleman Concierge, Jenn and Ed

Sometimes the things that most inspire us are the things we wouldn't really do ourselves. Like planning a trip solely based on where we can mountain bike. Or cycle through a city's trails. And that's just one reason Jenn and Ed Coleman inspire us.

Three colorful homes with a balcony, and a couple walking in the center.

Though Dan and I aren't divers, their Scuba diving blog posts often have us wondering if we should throw on an oxygen tank and dip below the surface on our next coastal vacation. (Don't worry, we know it's not that simple to learn how to Scuba dive.)

They're our couple travel blogger friends who have transplanted to the south on more than one move or occasion, like us, and who we can joyfully discuss the everyday minutiae of blogging with us too.

They do quite a bit of freelance writing as well, like when Ed shared how strategically saving money from his full-time job allows them to travel the world, on Insider. Or Jenn shared expert tips to instantly improve your ski game on Explore magazine's site.

Once Upon a Journey, Roxanne and Maartje

This Dutch lesbian couple inspires us whenever we open Instagram.

They're the best couple travel bloggers on Instagram in our eyes (@onceuponajourney), if you define that as a traveling pair who is always posting inspiring content with both partners in the photos. They really rock it. Seriously.

Couple travel bloggers, females side-by-side, one in yellow with pink hair and the other in a pink t-shirt with blond hair.

Warning: they're adorable and so in love! It's really too cute. And their photography is colorful and exceptional, to boot, which we love.

Check out the cool photography on their post about visiting a Bubble Hotel in Iceland together. And explore their entire Instagram feed while you're at it. You'll quickly go down a rabbit hole exploring weeks and years of their content.

Did we mention they're in The Netherlands? (We're Netherlands obsessed !)

Hey! Dip Your Toes In, Eulanda and Omo

Eulanda and Omo have inspired us for years. We somehow came across this London-based couple very early on in our couple travel blogging journey (which isn't hard to believe – they're everywhere on social media and in the travel blogging world) and they've been a steadfast inspiration ever since.

Couple inside a clear bubble with rain on it. They're holding two glasses of orange juice.

They live in the UK, though she's from the US and he's from Lagos. One day, Dan and I hope to live in Europe for a while too!

They are leaders in the travel industry, speaking at conferences, doing freelance writing and inspiring us with the great content on their blog. Not to mention, they look so cool in their photos! (They say they're an everyday kind of couple on their about page , which we agree with from everything we know about them and have learned over the years. But every photo they take still looks like it's ready for a magazine!)

If we ever meet in person (which will happen one day) I know we'll bond over a shared love of food and trying new cuisines. I'm sure Eulanda and I will gush over a love of southern favorites , like shrimp ‘n grits, how fabulous Shonda Rhimes's book was, and relating to their Year of Yes , and be lifelong friends. 🙂

Sometimes Home, Mikkel and Dan

We can't write about couple travel bloggers and not include ourselves! Is that cool with you? Hopefully!

We truly hope to inspire you to travel as a couple and bring you refreshing ideas about where we go and how we do it. Whether that's sharing information about a fantastic town you've probably never heard of or a culinary experience that knocked our socks off. Or about date ideas you can do at home .

Because you are why we love to write about travel. The promise of people finding our content and booking a trip because of it – or even starting to actualize a dream because of it – means so much to us. It's why we do what we do.

Saturday 14th of October 2017

So great to see so many people travelling together. Fascinated by how they are all younger travellers, well younger than us ?. We are in our late forties and fifties having given up everything for a life in the road ready to feed our adventurous souls. If you ever do another blog like this one, which is great, we would love to feature as an older couple fulfilling our wanderlust and writting about it.

Monday 16th of October 2017

That is even more inspiring! We think we could speak for everyone that we all wish to travel for years to come! We will definitely try and feature y'all next year :)

13 Best Couple Travel Vloggers to Watch on YouTube (2024)

' src=

Searching for more amazing travel couple youtubers like Kara and Nate? This list of the 13 best couple travel vloggers is for you!

As a travel blogger and travel lover in general, 2020 and 2021 were hard years to be stuck (mostly) at home. To compensate, I searched for other opportunities to be engrossed in travel from the safety of my couch.

One day I discovered was by watching travel vlogs on YouTube. I put together this list of the best travel vloggers I have found so you too can enjoy their videos.

Whether you are stuck at home missing travel, planning your next trip, or hoping to be inspired to book a trip, these travel YouTube channels are sure to meet your needs.

Some links on this blog are affiliate links, meaning I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you if you make a purchase through them. All opinions are my own, and I only recommend products and services I personally use and believe in. Thanks for your support!

The Best Couple Travel Vloggers

1. kara & nate.

Kara and Nate Travel Youtube

Expertise : Full Time Travel & Van Life

Video to Watch First : Antarctica Series- Specifically the Polar Plunge

Of all the fantastic travel Youtubers on this list, Kara and Nate are my absolute favorite. If you take away one thing from this article, its to go watch Kara and Nate’s channel immediately.

What began as one year of travel quickly became 5 years of full-time travel and over 2 million subscribers on YouTube.

In 2016, they began as budget travelers backpacking southeast Asia and eating tons of street food. Now, they are living van life in the United States.

In the past 5 years, they have visited 100 countries, made hundreds of vlogs, and visited all 7 continents.

I love the casual nature of Kara and Nate’s vlogs. They give you a glimpse into their relationship, the amazing destinations they visit, and the trickier parts of travel as well.

You will soon feel like friends with this adventure-loving, coffee-addicted, foodie couple.  I binged all their videos in early 2021, and I recommend you do the same!

Otherwise, be sure to check out their Antarctica series first, it is sure to blow you away.

Now, if you are already aware of Kara and Nate (or one of their 3+ million followers), keep reading for other great YouTube Travel Couples.

2. Tim & Fin

travel couple bloggers

Expertise : Bucket List Travel

Video to Watch First : Crossing it Off Series

Tim & Fin are self-proclaimed “not influencers.” They use their successful Amazon business and location independence to travel the world and share their unfiltered experiences.

Unlike other vloggers that rely on sponsorships, Tim and Fin are able to share their honest opinions about the destinations they visit.

They create a variety of content ranging from traditional travel vlogs to long-form videos to series about adventure travel or RV travel.

Their most recent series is about crossing 50 items off their bucket list because “the world is big and life is short”.

This series got me hooked on the channel and captures activities such as skiing in the alps or wine tasting in Tuscany.

3. Dan & Chelle

travel couple bloggers

Expertise : Full Time Travel

Video to Watch First : Croatia Series

Dan and Chelle have been one of my long-time favorite travel couples. Until recently, they only traveled a few times per year, but I always looked forward to their videos.

Starting in spring of 2022, they set out on full time travel, and to produce daily travel vlogs. They’re now back stateside but still travel often and share it on YouTube.

Their full time travel started with the adventure of hiking Kilimanjaro, then headed to European destinations such as Iceland, Portugal, and Romania.

Their vlogs are super laid-back, and their personalities are infectious. Plus, with their daily videos, you’re never short on content to catch up on.

4. The Awkward Tourists

Photo of the awkward tourists travel vlog couple

Expertise : World Travel

Video to Watch First : Anything from Europe

The Awkward Tourists YouTube channel is dedicated to helping people explore the world in a fun and unconventional way. From road trips and adventure stories to unique cultural experiences, the Awkward Tourists capture it all on video for their followers.

Each video offers viewers a glimpse into travel life abroad as well as practical tips for travelers.

Whether you’re looking for an entertaining way to learn about new places or just need a good laugh, the Awkward Tourists have something for everyone!

5. Adventures of Matt and Nat

Matt and Nat youtubers travel couple

Expertise : Travel with a Full Time (non-remote) Career

Video to Watch First : Ireland series

Matt and Nat are my newest favorite travel couple on YouTube. The way they capture their travels is very authentic and genuine.

I first started watching their 50 states series, where they visited every US state in one year.

Now, they are checking bucket-list activities off from a book of 1000 things to do before you die. I love how they always have a travel “goal” but also soak in the culture of each and every place they visit.

Cruise Couple Travel Vloggers

6. trev & chels.

trev and chels travel couple on a boat in italy

Video to Watch First : Freedom of the Seas from Puerto Rico Series

In the travel community, there are cruise lovers and haters. Some feel cruising is too fast to truly see a destination and others love the fast pace.

I fall into the latter category as a cruise lover. Trev & Chels are the same! While they aren’t full-time travel bloggers, they create amazing videos from cruises and a few other destinations.

I fell in love with Trev & Chels videos after my Royal Caribbean cruise was cancelled in 2021. They have multiple cruising series to the Caribbean and Alaska .

They also work for Royal Caribbean to create content, so it’s super interesting to see the behind the scenes of the commercial side of the business.

If you are considering cruise travel, plan to take a cruise, or are a fellow cruise enthusiast, be sure to check this amazing couple out!

7. Griff & Alyssa

Griff and Alyssa Cruise Vloggers

Video to Watch First : Harmony of the Seas Series

Griff & Alyssa are another pair of fantastic cruise vloggers. Their vlog showcases cruises on many different cruise lines including Disney, Carnival, Royal Caribbean , and Virgin.

They do a great job showcasing life on the boat and at port. As Florida residents, they also share great Disney content.

Griff and Alyssa recently had a daughter, Noa. Now they’re a great resource for traveling with a baby in addition to couple’s cruise travel.

Since Griff and Alyssa travel frequently, they never have a shortage of new and exciting vlogs. Be sure to check out their YouTube channel and become a part of their “Paradise Crew”.

8. Views and Queues

travel couple bloggers

Video to Watch First : Norway Series

Views and Queues is a great YouTube channel for cruise lovers. They frequent both Royal Caribbean and Disney cruise line.

Their videos are typically long-form, showing their vacation day-by-day. They often stay in unique suites and offer super detailed room tours.

Both of them have full time jobs and content creation is now their main source of income. Because of this, their videos are very casual and focused on quality, relatable content, which I love!

Van Life / RV YouTube Travel Couples

9. the endless adventure.

travel couple bloggers

Video to Watch First : Any of their “what to eat” vlogs

The Endless Adventure is a long-time full-time travel couple. They have videos traveling all around the world. Most recently, they began visiting all 50 states from their renovated RV.

It’s super fun to see them visit some of the less popular states and show off the hidden gems. These two are always joking around and feel like friends just from watching their videos.

10. Eamon & Bec

eamon and bec youtube channel logo

Video to Watch First : Their Baja Mexico series

Eamon & Bec are a vegan, Canadian couple that have been doing van life for the better part of the past decade.

On their channel, you can watch their van life series from Morocco, Mexico, the United States, and Canada. They are super fun and goofy, and infectious to watch.

Their lifestyle has changed recently, following Bec’s battle with breast cancer and their baby due in 2023. However, I still highly recommend watching their channel!

11. Ian and Ana

headshot of ian and ana

Video to watch first : Any recent upload from Europe van life

Ian and Ana are couple travel bloggers that have become known for their van life in the US and in Europe. They share destination vlogs and great couple travel tips.

They’ve also recently adopted the three cutest kittens that travel in the van with them!

I recommend watching Ian and Ana to learn about full-time van life and to see amazing bucket-list destinations around the world.

12. Kinging It

kinging it youtube profile photo

Video to Watch First : Their collab with Kara and Nate in Norway

Craig and Aimee of Kinging It are one of the most entertaining travel couples. Their content is primarily based in Europe, in their unique van and bus builds.

I recommend watching Craig and Aimee if you want a good laugh!

Disney Travel Couples

13. ordinary adventures.

ordinary adventures logo

Video to Watch First : Disney Aulani series

My favorite Disney travel creators are Ordinary Adventures. They are based in California and frequent Disneyland, but also visit other Disney parks such as Disney World or Tokyo Disney.

They also produce great cruise content on Royal Caribbean and Disney cruises.

Ordinary Adventures have created a great travel community, with inside jokes, and super relatable content. If you are planning a Disney vacation , be sure to check them out!

travel couple bloggers

Hey! We’re Kara and Nate, a couple of high school sweethearts who have made our dream of long-term travel a reality. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we’ve been traveling the world full-time for the last 4+ years and documenting our daily adventures on our YouTube channel . In December of 2019, we completed our goal of visiting 100 countries!

In January of 2016, we moved out of our apartment, sold our cars, put all of our stuff in storage, and boarded a one-way flight to Tokyo, Japan. The original plan was to spend one year seeing as much of the world as possible before we headed back to Nashville where we would settle down, get serious about our careers, and start a family…

Thankfully, things don’t always go as planned. Here we are 2.5 years later and still on the road. YouTube has turned into our “career,” and we’re living a life better than we could have ever imagined!

If you somehow stumbled upon this site without coming from our YouTube channel, this video will catch you up on our first two years of travel.

Not Your Average Travel Blog

We’ve chosen to document our daily travel adventures on YouTube and Instagram . So, instead of talking about our travels for a third time here on the blog, we’ve devoted it to creating useful resources around the three topics we’re most passionate about: travel hacking, YouTube, and entrepreneurship.

Travel Hacking

Before we left to travel we saved up over 2 million miles and points through travel hacking strategies that I’ll teach you here on the blog. We’ve used these miles and points to save well over $20,000+ in travel expenses over the last few years. I want to teach you how to do the same. If you want to learn how you can take your next trip for pennies on the dollar using miles and points, check out the resources below.

YouTube Resources

Before we started this YouTube channel in January of 2016, we knew very little about filming and editing videos. We knew even less about growing a YouTube channel. Here we are 2.5 years later, we’ve published over 500 videos, our channel has over 225,000 subscribers, we won a Shorty Award, and we’re making a full-time living creating travel videos. If you have a crazy dream (like we did) to create a business around sharing your passion through video, check out the resources below.

Income & Expense Reports

Before we left to travel we saved up $30,000 hoping that would cover the cost for 1 year of full-time travel. From the beginning, I (Nate) tracked our expenses religiously because I knew the more money we saved, the longer we could continue traveling.

Then, 6 months into traveling, we made the decision to attempt to turn our YouTube channel into a business that could make us enough money to continue traveling after the first year. Ever since, I’ve been publishing reports of our income and expenses here on the blog.

The first full report I posted was in July of 2016 . We made a grand total of $603.26 that first month, and we spent WAY more than we made. Click the link below to see how far we’ve come!

Travel with Us!

Last year we came up with a crazy idea to put together a one week Vespa tour through our favorite region in Italy. In just a few short weeks, 45 viewers from around the world will be joining us here in Le Marche, Italy for a week of eating delicious pasta, tasting the local wines, eating way too much gelato, and cruising around on Vespas. It’s going to be incredible, and we want to do more trips like this in the future. If you’re interested in joining us on a future trip, click the button below to let us know!

Sunday Summary

Every week we send out a newsletter with updates from the road. If you enter your email below, you’ll be the first to know exciting news like where we’re traveling next, stuff we’re giving away, new resources published on the blog, and opportunities to travel with us on future trips!

How the best travel vloggers were chosen:

Like all lists, people will wonder why they’re not on it. I’m positive I missed some good ones, but this is very loose criteria I’d be using if I were hired to cast, produce or pitch a TV show. Creators did not need to meet all criteria, but most. – Programming: Weekly dedication, quality, storytelling & individual style execution – Audience: Niche, loyalty, & YouTube friendly – Blog worthy and/or binge worthy – Does it bring a new spin to the term “travel video” or “travel show” – Channel Personality/Talent: brand recognition, hosting & entertainment value

21 U.S. Travel Bloggers Worth Following

21 u.s. travel bloggers everyone with wanderlust should be following.

Travel Blogger

If being a travel blogger sounds like a dream job — well, it kind of is. Writers across America spend their days exploring fantastic sights in dozens of exotic countries, documenting what they experience and making a living as they go.

But that doesn’t mean the job is easy. Most professional travelers have made impressive sacrifices to follow their dreams, whether it's by selling all of their belongings, living in small apartments with several roommates, or just living very simply. Superb travel blogging also takes a unique knack for making extraordinary travel experiences resonate with the masses.

Here, we’ve rounded up some of the most engaging and inspirational travel bloggers across the U.S. And yes, a little bit of jealousy is OK.

A Dangerous Business

Amanda of the Dangerous Business blog

The blogger behind A Dangerous Business is Amanda, who decided in high school that she wanted to travel. An avid Lord of the Rings fan, she was determined to visit New Zealand and spent two weeks there in 2005. She has since been to over 50 countries on six continents.

With the hopes of traveling more, Amanda started A Dangerous Business in 2010, but isn't a full-time traveler. She enjoys the comforts of home — and her beloved cat — far too much. Instead, she created the blog as a hobby and a way to combat boredom at work. In 2015, after earning her Master's degree in Tourism Management, she went full-time as a blogger.

The goal of A Dangerous Business is to help people find ways to fit travel into their lives. Amanda works with global brands and destinations to create bucket-list-style travel trips, and has been featured on The Huffington Post and USA Today Travel .

Follow Amanda on her adventures by visiting her on Facebook and Instagram .

The Seattle blogger has been featured in Forbes , The Independent and The Huffington Post . TIME Magazine also called her work “clever,” while The New York Times described her as "dark and hilarious."

These assessments are evident when you explore The Everywherist, which showcases Geraldine's dry wit. Check out her Facebook page and Instagram page to keep up with her shenanigans.

The Blonde Abroad

The Blonde Abroad

Through her blog, Kiersten hopes to inspire people to live a life they love and not settle for anything less. The Blonde Abroad is a multi-level business that allows Kiersten to earn an income through various streams of revenue. She offers social media and marketing consulting, content creation and blog mentorship retreats, and takes all-expenses-paid press trips to produce content for brands.

Local Adventurer

Esther from Local Adventurer

The Atlanta natives decided on a year in each spot because it's enough time to discover amazing spots in each new place, without being too permanent. After moving across the country and realizing that they hadn't gotten to know their hometown as well as they should have, they decided to get out and explore.

She claims to live a very dichotomous life because she struggles with wanting to capture the world on film through travel and focusing on her experience practicing Chinese medicine, which she considers her true calling.

Andi's love affair with travel can be credited to her intrigue of diverse cultures, roads not traveled and life-changing experiences. During her time traveling the world, she met an Argentinean man, Lucas, who she married in Buenos Aires after five years of a long-distance relationship.

In 2015, Andi had a son, Joaquin, whom she calls her "most beautiful adventure yet."

Our Favorite 24 FT Travel Trailer Floor Plans

travel couple bloggers

  • Floorplan: Rear Bathroom / Murphy Bed
  • Length: 24’11 ”
  • Dry Weight: 5568 pounds
  • Sleeping Capacity: 2

Like our other East to West Silver Lake camper on this list, couples will like the placement of the door at the front of this 24 foot travel trailer floor plan, which provides an impressive amount of counterspace. This also means that the storage capacity is greater than others in this class.

The Silver Lake 18MMB ‘s cargo capacity doesn’t stop there. You get more storage under the Murphy bed, in a four-cabinet pantry next to the theater seats, and in the extra-large medicine cabinet in the bathroom.

Favorite Feature: Outdoor Kitchen

Inside the Jay Feather 19MRK , the Murphy bed folds up to reveal a jackknife sofa, perfect for eating or working while using the adjustable and removable table. The attached TV trays on the reclining theater seats across from the entertainment center provide another option for eating and working.

Speaking of food, I love the appliance corner in the kitchen with a pop up power bar. Making a morning smoothie or a cup of coffee will be a breeze, and those small appliances can stay on the counter while remaining out of the way during kitchen prep.

Favorite Feature: 55-gallon Fresh & Black Holding Tanks

This is the second No Boundaries on our list of our favorite 24 ft travel trailer floor plans. While the standard amenities are similar to the NoBo 19.6, the big differences with the No Boundaries 19.3 are the bunk beds and the fact that this floorplan doesn’t include a slide.

Two double bunks provide lots of space for kids or gear organization when they’re not in use.

While choosing a travel trailer with or without a slide is a personal preference, the benefits of an easier set-up and tear-down process and the ability to fit into a tight campsite are noteworthy.

Favorite Feature: No Slide

Check out the double bunks in the Forest River No Boundaries 19.3 .

Grand Design Imagine XLS 21BHE

The Grand Design Imagine XLS 21BHE is one of the best 24 ft travel trailer floor plans

  • Length: 24’ 11”
  • Dry Weight: 4938 pounds
  • Sleeping Capacity: 6

What makes this 24-foot travel trailer floorplan different is your choice of four trim packages. Even at the basic level, the Imagine XLS 21BHE is an impressive model with many features in a smaller footprint, considering this is another no-slide travel trailer.

First, the bathroom is big and includes a window for more light. Second, there is so much storage packed into every inch of the 21-foot living space. Lastly, for ultimate safety, every model comes standard with an anti-lock brake system.

Favorite Feature: Anti-lock Braking System

Check out the outdoor kitchen on the Grand Design Imagine XLS 21BHE .

A 24’ Travel Trailer with a Rear Dinette

Travel trailers with a rear dinette are not a common floorplan, but couples should be encouraged to add them to their list of potential travel trailers because the placement of a rear dinette allows for a cozy space perfect for eating and game nights . Here’s one of our favorite models:

Coleman Lantern LT 202RD

Coleman Lantern LT 202RD travel trailer floorplan

  • Floorplan: Rear Dinette
  • Dry Weight: 2,497 pounds

The Lantern LT 202RD is a great entry-level trailer. It has everything you need for seasonal camping. This no-slide travel trailer will keep you dry, cool, and comfortable, unlike sleeping in a tent.

The black sink and gun-metal refrigerator up the wow factor of this floorplan, but the real star of the show is the panoramic rear screened-in windows that surround the dinette and jackknife sofa.

Favorite Feature: Panoramic Rear Windows

Let in the outside air with the Coleman Lantern LT 202RD .

Speaking of an entry-level trailer, after making your first purchase, you should check out this list of essential items you will need for your first trip.

24’ Travel Trailer FAQs

A 24-foot travel trailer floorplan is an affordable option for couples or small families who want to get the best of both worlds. You can travel to your favorite campground or even boondock in your travel trailer while staying dry and comfortable using household amenities such as a shower and a comfortable mattress.

If you still have questions about 24 ft travel trailer floor plans or travel trailers in general, let’s see if we can answer them.

What is the most popular travel trailer length?

Travel trailers between 24 and 28 feet are the most popular. The majority of travel trailers on the road are owned by RVers who travel seasonally. This form of vacation does not require large floor plans because it is generally unnecessary to have the storage capacity and amenities that one might want if traveling full-time .

What size travel trailer to live in?

Determining what size travel trailer you need to live in depends on what you require to be comfortable – that is, comfortable towing and comfortable living. An active couple would have no problem living full-time in a 24 ft travel trailer because two people do not need a lot of storage space or living space. But if you’re looking for something larger, check out these travel trailer roundups .

What size travel trailer is best for national parks?

The benefit of camping in a national park is being surrounded by nature. Because of this, the campsites are typically small. Travel trailers under 30 feet are best for camping in national parks. However, some parks restrict RV lengths to less than 30 feet. Check out these national park guides for more information on RV size restrictions.

Looking for a little bit more space? Check out the Best 5th Wheels for Families in 2024.

If you are a solo traveler or a couple looking to go even smaller, check out this list of six RVs you can pull with an SUV .

If you’ve never seen a tribute act perform the songs of artists that are either too big to play in Maine or who have passed away, there’s a way to do a whole bunch of that this week in Portland.

There are also tribute shows happening in venues around the state all summer long.

A Strange Day is the Portland-based tribute to The Cure. Photo by Seth D. Warner

Let’s start with Portland-based A Strange Day, a tribute to British alternative act The Cure, fronted by singer and guitarist Seth Warner.

The band will perform The Cure’s second album, “Seventeen Seconds,” in its entirety, along with some hits and other cuts at Portland House of Music on Thursday.

The album was released on April 18, 1980. Lead singer and guitarist Robert Smith turned 21 three days later. The single  “A Forest” marked the band’s debut on the U.K. Singles Chart, where it reached the No. 31 spot. The song remains a setlist staple at The Cure’s live performances.

Warner said he put himself in the shoes of Cure fans when deciding what album to cover. “What I would like to hear from a Cure band is a dive into the specific eras that surrounded each record, and ‘Seventeen Seconds’ set the tone for the more introspective and gloomy textures and themes.” Advertisement

As for Warner’s favorite “Seventeen Seconds” tracks, he said, “I really like ‘At Night’ for its dynamic potential, and the edgy and angsty ‘M.'”

The band took its name from the track “A Strange Day” from The Cure’s 1982 album “Pornography.”

Along with Warner, the band is Pete Dugas (keys), Andrew Hodgkins (drums), Matt Kennedy (synth/sax), Kevin O’Reilly (bass), Casey Urich (trumpet) and Corey Urich.

Angel Butts, a copy editor living in Westbrook, has seen The Cure more than 100 times on three continents and at least 10 countries, including Latvia and Colombia. “They’re like breathing to me. They have this massive catalog and it spans every possible mood, I don’t know of another band with a palette like that. “Seventeen Seconds” is among her favorite of the band’s 13 studio albums.

Butts has seen The Cure play the “Seventeen Seconds” album all the way through three times. “One of those shows stands as the best show I’ve ever seen in my life. The Cure: Reflections, Nov. 27, 2011 at the  Beacon Theatre in New York City.”

Butts said she and her 13-year-old daughter will be attending the A Strange Day show. “I think she’s more excited than I am.” Advertisement

Another British act that will likely never perform in Maine is The Rolling Stones. With more than 30 albums, the band achieved legendary status decades ago. Singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards are both 80, and the band is currently on tour and will be at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts, on Thursday.

There are still tickets left for that show, but you can save yourself hours of traffic jams and a lot of more by instead heading to Aura on Saturday to see Satisfaction: The International Rolling Stones tribute show. Or maybe you’ll see the real deal and then keep the party going here in Maine.

Satisfaction has been slinging Stones hits for over two decades and has played more than 4,000 shows. Chris LeGrand’s take on Mick Jagger is pretty convincing, and he and the band will surely be pleased to meet you.

David Bowie and Prince died within five months of each other in 2016, at the ages of 69 and 57, respectively, and their losses were felt by millions of fans around the world. Advertisement

With contributions that are impossible to quantify, both artists left behind a legacy of music that lives on through radio play, home listening and tribute shows.

Boston-based musician Eric Gould loves both artists and is the bandleader of a Prince/Bowie tribute coming to Portland on Saturday. The band is a revolving lineup of players from all over the country.

Gould plays bass and designs the setlists. For this show, the musicians are Cal Kehoe (guitar, vocals), Adrian Tramontano (drums), Sammi Garrett (percussion, vocals), Josh Schwartz (baritone sax, vocals), Rob Somerville (tenor saxophone), Rob Volo (trombone) and Kiran Edwards (keys).

Gould said that, to him, Prince embodies soul, creative arrangement and precision. “His music has the best energy and makes you feel on top of the universe.”

He described Bowie as having a voice and character that is completely unique.

“It is powerful and epic and decadent,” said Gould, who has made a career out of finding unique connections through the songbooks of artists. “It is such a treat to present music people know and love in a way that is fresh to the ears. This combination brings so much joy to everyone on and off stage.” Advertisement
