Snoop-Dogg-2023-Dates-UK-Ireland

Snoop Dogg has announced the rescheduled 2023 dates for his ‘I Wanna Thank Me’ UK and Ireland tour. The hip-hop icon will kick off the arena jaunt at Belfast’s SSE Arena on March 14, followed by dates in Manchester, Glasgow, London, Dublin, Leeds, and Birmingham.

Snoop will be joined by his peers and collaborators Warren G, Tha Dogg Pound, Obie Trice and D12. Irish rap duo Versatile are also hitting the road with the icons of the West Coast scene.

Meanwhile, Snoop and Dr. Dre have collaborated on a new album called “Missionary.” The hip-hop idols have teamed up on their first new music in three decades.

Best Motown Samples: 20 Essential Tracks For Crate-Diggers

He spilled in October: “Me and Dr. Dre have been working on an album for the past two months.”

Asked about the sex position moniker, he replied: “The first album was ‘Doggystyle’…”

The album title confirmation comes after Eminem shared a snap in the studio with the pair in September and captioned it: “Just a few bros…hangin out.”

Snoop and Dre reunited earlier this year for an epic performance at the Super Bowl halftime show – along with Eminem , Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar . And following whispers that the pair were in the studio, Snoop told Entertainment Tonight : “We’re cooking up a little something. I don’t wanna talk about it too much, but we’re back together again.

“It’s been 30 years since we worked on a record, and we’re doin’ something, we’re workin’ on something.”

Snoop shot to fame in 1992 when he featured on Dre’s debut solo single, “Deep Cover” and his solo LP The Chronic .

Earlier this year, Snoop bought Death Row Records, the label that launched his career. The rapper – whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr – acquired the company from MNRK Music Group for an undisclosed sum.

The 51-year-old megastar said in February: “I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant Death Row Records brand, which has immense untapped future value. “It feels good to have ownership of the label I was part of at the beginning of my career and as one of the founding members. This is an extremely meaningful moment for me.”

Snoop Dogg’s UK and Ireland 2023 dates are:

March 14 – Belfast, SSE Arena March 15 – Manchester, AO Arena March 16 – Glasgow, SEC Hydro March 21 – London, O2 Arena March 26 – Dublin, 3Arena March 27 – Leeds, First Direct Arena.

The rapper will return in March after previously cancelling all non-U.S. tour dates for 2022

Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg has rescheduled his UK and Ireland arena tour for 2023.

  • READ MORE:  Mount Westmore – ‘Snoop, Cube, 40, $hort’ review: rap supergroup overstuffed with ideas and personalities

The rapper will be returning to British and Irish shores in March, making stops in Belfast, Manchester, Glasgow, London, Dublin, Leeds and Birmingham. He was supposed to be touring this year, but cancelled all non-U.S. tour dates back in May due to “unforeseen scheduling conflicts, including family obligations and upcoming tv and film projects” .

The tour will feature a variety of special guests, Warren G , Tha Dogg Pound, Obie Trice and D12 . They will also be joined by Irish rap duo Versatile and, for English and Scottish dates, Xzibit .

All tickets from his original tour dates, which were postponed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, remain valid. The reminder will go on sale tomorrow (December 22) at midday – you can buy yours here .

Snoop Dogg will play the following shows:

MARCH 14 – Belfast, SSE Arena  15 – Manchester, AO Arena 16 – Glasgow, OVO Hydro 21 – London, O2 Arena 26 – Dublin, 3Arena 27 – Leeds, First Direct Arena 28 – Birmingham, Resorts World Arena

Elsewhere, Snoop Dogg has also revealed he used to write his lyrics on a typewriter in the early days of his career , which he borrowed from  2Scoops of G-funk group The Dove Shack. He said that 2Scoops was “organized and shit”, so concluded he was “just gonna type my shit up”, adding “I used to type like 65 words a minute”.

Earlier this month, Snoop and hip-hop veterans  Ice Cube , Too $hort and E-40 released their new album under Mount Westmore, ‘Snoop, Cube, 40, $hort’.

In a three-star review , NME described the record as a “muddled, but sometimes brilliant, cruise down Sunset Boulevard”.

It continued: “‘Snoop, Cube, 40, $hort’ isn’t completely devoid of praise; having to accommodate four distinct styles and personalities is no simple task. But while there are moments of brilliance, it’s clear there are too many chefs in the kitchen.”

snoop dogg uk tour 2023 lineup

West Coast rap legend Snoop Dogg has come a long way since being discovered by Dr. Dre in the early 1990. As impressive as he was when guesting on Dre’s The Chronic in 1992, few could have guessed he’d go on to global fame, tens of millions of record sales, and a career in movies and TV. And that’s only part of the story, from battles with the law to reinvention as a reggae artist.

He was born Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr. in Long Beach, California, on October 20, 1971. His “Snoop Dogg” nickname came from his mother because she thought he looked like Snoopy from the Peanuts cartoon. He played the piano and sang at his local Baptist church, before starting rap in sixth grade. After graduating high school, Snoop was arrested several times for drug possession and spent time in prison. He was also associated with the Rollin’ 20 Crips Gang. He started making music as a way out of his troubles and recorded early demos with his cousin Nate Dogg and friend Warren G as 213. A track on one of these came to the attention of Dr. Dre who invited Snoop — then rapping under the name Snoop Doggy Dogg — to audition. From there they collaborated on a song called “Deep Cover” for the soundtrack of the film for the same name; and Snoop became the key rapper on Dre’s hugely successful first solo album, The Chronic, in 1992.

Snoop’s first album, the Dre-produced Doggystyle (1993), climbed its way to the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s hip-hop and Top 200 charts, based in part on the success of the singles “ Who Am I (What’s My Name)? ” and “ Gin and Juice .”

Next came a short film called Murder Was the Case , the soundtrack of which went double platinum. Snoop’s next album, The Doggfather (1996), also reached the top of the charts, despite the absence of Dre, who had left Death Row Records over a contract dispute. Snoop then left Death Row himself, falling out with label mogul Suge Knight and moving to Master P’s No Limit Records. He scored the top slot on the hip-hop charts with his next two albums: Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told (1998) and No Limit Top Dogg (1999). His last album for No Limit, The Last Meal , came in 2000 and sold over 2 million copies. By now his sound had become less “gangsta rap” and somewhat smoother.

Snoop continued to make music throughout the noughts, enjoying a big hit in 2004 with the chart-topping single “ Drop It Like It’s Hot ,” which sparked several fruitful collaborations with Pharrell Williams . He reunited with Warren G and Nate Dogg as 213 to drop the album The Hard Way in 2004. In 2007, Snoop became the first artist to release a track — “ It’s The D.O.G ” — as a ringtone prior to its release as a single.

He also branched out into acting during the same period and appeared in several films, including Starsky & Hutch, The Wash and Training Day. He also made guest appearances on television shows, including The L Word and Weeds, and starred in his own E! reality show, Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood , in 2007. He was part of a sketch show, Doggy Fizzle Televizzle , and participated in the Comedy Central Roast of the future president Donald Trump. He also uses his likeable laconic personality to good effect in a new venture for VH1, Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party , where he and Martha Stewart host dinner parties for various celebrities.

Outside of music, Snoop has made investments in the burgeoning cannabis business. In November 2015 he launched Leafs By Snoop, becoming the first A-list celebrity to brand a line of cannabis products. That same year he also launched a new digital-media venture called Merry Jane, which focuses on the latest marijuana news. In May 2017 Snoop dropped his fifteenth studio album Neva Left . He also released a gospel album titled Bible of Love in March 2018.

He is held in high esteem and affection by hip-hop fans worldwide, and is one of the most recognizable faces and voices of the whole genre, even to those who don’t listen to his music. He has the distinction for having the most Grammy nominations of any music artist— 17 to date — without having won one. But as Snoop Dogg shows few signs of retiring, don’t write him off just yet.

Snoop Dogg announces rescheduled tour with Manchester 2023 date

The West Coast rapper is returning to the UK in March 2023 with support from Warren G, D-12, Xzibit and more

  • 10:59, 21 DEC 2022

The rap icon will be appearing at the Manchester AO Arena on Wednesday, March 15, 2023

American rapper and West Coast legend, Snoop Dogg will be making his presence felt in the UK once again as he announces a seven-date tour for March 2023, as part of his rescheduled UK and Ireland tour.

The long-time king of rap royalty was forced to cancel previous UK dates for 2022 due to "unforeseen scheduling conflicts, including family obligations and upcoming tv and film projects."

His newly announced tour dates form part of the rescheduled dates which will see Snoop and support acts including Warren G, D-12, Versatile, The Dogg Pound, Obie Trice, and Xzibit crew play to over 20,000 fans at that Manchester AO Arena on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

Original tickets remain valid but fans can also join the pre-sale waiting list here and pre-sale tickets will go live at 9am on Thursday, December 22 via Ticketek and Ticketmaster . General sale tickets will launch at 12pm the same day.

This year, Snoop Dogg has been busy with the formation of the supergroup Mount Westmore with fellow rap stars E-40, Too Short, and Ice Cube. The hip-hop veterans showed that they are very much still at the top of their game with the release of their debut album 'Snoop, Cube, 40, $hort'.

The rapper also collaborated with DJ Drama on the album Gangsta Grillz: I Still Got It' as well as releasing 'Snoop Dog Presents Death Row Summer 2022', two 'NFT Drop' albums and his latest LP, 'BODR'.

As one of the best-known figures from the gangsta rap era of the 1990s, Snoop and his music have long been considered the epitome of West Coast hip-hop culture.

With many fans still loyal to him since his early days and a new generation of hip-hop devotees keen to hear more, tickets are likely to sell out quickly for his only dates in the UK for 2023.

Full tour dates include:

  • Tuesday, March 14 - Belfast SSE Arena
  • Wednesday, March 15 - Manchester AO Arena
  • Thursday, March 16 - Glasgow OVO Arena
  • Tuesday, March 21 - London, O2 Arena
  • Sunday, March 26 - Dublin 3Arena
  • Monday, March 27 - Leeds First Direct Arena

FURTHER INFORMATION ON SNOOP DOGG

He played piano and sang at his local Baptist church, before starting rap in sixth grade. From there they collaborated on a song called “Deep Cover” for the soundtrack of the film for the same name; and Snoop became the key rapper on Dre’s hugely successful first solo album, The Chronic , in 1992.

Snoop’s first album, the Dre-produced Doggystyle  (1993), climbed its way to the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s hip-hop and Top 200 charts, based in part on the success of the singles “Who Am I (What’s My Name)?” and “Gin and Juice.”

Next came a short film called Murder Was the Case , the soundtrack of which went double platinum. Snoop’s next album,  Tha Doggfather  (1996), also reached the top of the charts, despite the absence of Dre, who had left Death Row over a contract dispute.

Snoop continued to make music throughout the noughts, enjoying a big hit in 2004 with the chart-topping single “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” which sparked several fruitful collaborations with Pharrell Williams. He reunited with Warren G and Nate Dogg as 213 to drop the album The Hard Way in 2004. In 2007, Snoop became the first artist to release a track — “It’s The DOG” — as a ringtone prior to its release as a single.

He also branched out into acting during the same period and appeared in several films, including  Starsky & Hutch ,  The Wash  and  Training Day . He also made guest appearances on television shows, including  The L Word  and  Weeds , and starred in his own E! reality show,  Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood , in 2007.

Snow Patrol are the latest act to announce a massive UK and EU tour, and they’ll be paying a visit to Manchester next year.

Following in the footsteps of recent tour announcements from the likes of Dublin boyband The Script, US rapper Travis Scott, and pop megastar Billie Eilish over the past couple of weeks, Snow Patrol have just revealed that they’re next up to take to the stage at Manchester’s newest live entertainment arena, Co-op Live .

The Northern Irish trio are heading out on an eight-date tour of the UK and Ireland in early 2025, and that includes a visit to our city in mid February.

After performing in some of the UK’s biggest cities in the days prior – including London’s O2, the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, and shows in Cardiff, Glasgow, and Hull – Gary Lightbody, Nathan Connolly, and Johnny McDaid will stop off Manchester .

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Snow Patrol (@snowpatrol)

They’ll be performing at Co-op Live on Saturday 22 February 2024.

The UK and EU tour announcement comes alongside another couple of exciting pieces of news for the three-piece band.

They’ve also revealed that they’ll be releasing their first studio album in six years, titled The Forest Is The Path , later this year on 13 September, as well as new single called ‘The Beginning’.

Snow Patrol UK & Ireland Tour Dates 2025 –

  • 15 February – London O2
  • 16 February – Birmingham Resorts World Arena
  • 18 February – Cardiff Utilita Arena
  • 19 February – Hull Connexin Live
  • 21 February – Glasgow OVO Hydro
  • 22 February – Manchester Co-op Live
  • 25 February – Dublin 3Arena
  • 27 February – Belfast SSE Arena

The band’s upcoming album is said to be rooted in “reflection, introspection, and interrogation”, and one of its key building blocks, according tot frontman Gary Lightbody, was the idea of “love from the distance of time”.

Tickets to Snow Patrol’s 2025 UK and Ireland tour, including the Manchester Co-op Live gig, go on pre-sale on Wednesday 5 June at 10am, and then on general sale on Friday 7 June at 10am.

Beloved British comic Paddy McGuinness is heading back out on his first live stand-up tour in eight years this year and has announced a new run of work-in-progress shows in preparation, including one right here in Greater Manchester.

McGuinness hasn’t been out on the live comedy circuit for the best part of a decade but announced his long-awaited return late last year, with the 50-year-old heading out on the road this October.

However, as he looks to get stage sharp shape ahead of his ‘Nearly There’ tour, Paddy has picked a pair of local North West venues for the WIP sets, with a trio of shows at The Met in Bury , as well as half a dozen over in Darwen, Lancashire.

Just like the tour itself, these are sure to go quickly.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by The Met (@metbury)

The Phoenix Nights and Max and Paddy star is playing nearly half a century of shows across the UK and Ireland from this fall onwards before closing out his tour in Dublin by April 2025.

His last tour, ‘Daddy McGuinness’ ran from 2015-16 and got pretty decent reviews across the board, with the focus largely revolving around his journey into parenthood, but his latest material is set to be quite the shift in tone.

Speaking ahead of the tour, the former Take Me Out and Top Gear host said: “It’s been eight years since my last tour and there’s lots of things to laugh about! I’m looking forward to getting back in front of a live audience, along with running the gauntlet of cancel culture, clickbait and fake news!”

Paddy also made a bit of a stir around these parts recently after he declared Bolton as still being part of Lancashire. No likey, no lighty on that one – sorry Paddy.

  • Craig David announces gig at Manchester’s Co-op Live as part of UK tour in 2025
  • Peter Kay’s statement in full as his Co-op Live gigs are postponed for SECOND time
  • A big party in the park is coming to Poynton and an iconic disco group is headlining

But never mind all that, we’re glad to see him getting back to his roots. The Farnworth -born funny man was also recently given a permanent role on BBC Radio 2 after becoming a firm favourite amongst the listenership. He will now run the 11am-1pm slot on Sundays.

As for his tour, after his warm-up shows in Bury and Darwen, the household name will be heading to The Lowry in Salford in March next year, with other nearby shows in the likes of Blackburn and Blackpool.

Tickets for Paddy McGuinness’ work-in-progress dates go on sale Friday, 3 May at 10am.

Snoop Dogg announces rescheduled tour with Manchester 2023 date

  • Tuesday, March 28 - Birmingham Resorts World Arena

Snoop dogg reschedules uk and ireland tour to 2023.

Snoop Dogg has rescheduled his UK and Ireland arena tour for 2023.

TGM Radio is the brainchild of Dane Thompson, a London entrepreneur who set out to realize his lifelong dream in an industry that has standardized on big-name hosts and celebrities.

The idea of delivering radio over the Internet led Dane to envision a new and different kind of radio station, one that would offer its listeners a variety of original programs with great entertainment value. What he had in mind, however, was a mainstream radio station that offered a variety of light, entertaining programs in the form of live streaming and on-demand listening.

All new hosts are encouraged to produce their own material and play however they want. This will create a relaxed, creative environment that brings hosts together and lead to a shared effort.

At TGM Radio Our programs will be of the highest quality. We’ll find you the best radio hosts for our station, so that what you’re listening to always sounds good. TGM Radio programming will have the best music (past and present), the latest hits from charts local and international, news and local traffic & weather.

Our aim is to Provide a continuous broadcast community radio and online. Give hosts the freedom, and opportunity to express their diverse voices through radio. Create contemporary sound and music and promote it to new audiences. Develop the capacity of the station to enable it to flourish.

TGM Radio welcomes you onboard and urges you to get ready for a musical journey.

Calvin Broadus was born on October 20th 1971, and started rapping when he was eleven years old. Ten years after that he took the stage name Snoop Doggy Dogg to begin recording, and in doing so, changed the face of Hip-Hop forever.

There are more than a few artists around that it’s basically impossible to say anything new about. They have been so scrutinised, so celebrated and so criticised that most of what one can say about them has already been said before. This is very much the case with Snoop Dogg, one of the cast iron legends of Hip-Hop and one of the key influences that make it what it is today, both as a cultural phenomenon, and as (arguably) the dominant force of pop music in the world.

After his rapping caught the attention of Hip-Hop godhead Dr. Dre, the legendary producer gave the up and coming Snoop the exposure of a lifetime by featuring him heavily on his 1992 album “The Chronic”. The California, US native capitalised by releasing the following years “Doggystyle” and promptly became one of the world’s most successful, famous, controversial, and downright feared musicians overnight. Since then his image has softened slightly, he’s more likely to be seen in adverts for Hot Pockets than on trial for murder (as he was in 1996), but he’s diversified to a thrilling degree as a musician.

Not content with giving the world the best G-Funk it’s ever going to get with “Who Am I (What’s My Name)?” and “Gin and Juice”, he’s also given it some of its best straight up hip hop with the Pharrell Williams assisted “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and is still unafraid to tread his own path. His most recent reinvention, with a new name (Snoop Lion) and a new reggae sound on the album “Reincarnated”, sees him still going from strength to strength 22 years into his career. With a back catalogue like his, and a bright future to match, you can’t go wrong with the Doggfather himself, Snoop Dogg.

Live reviews

I was pretty worried that the concert might've been uncomfortable, as I'm a teen that went with their parents. Also, my mom isn't good at keeping her calm in situations surrounded by high intensity and tons of weed (which I guarantee will be at any Snoop concert). But it was the opposite of awkward. It was really fucking fun and people of all ages and backgrounds were there. We sat in the mezzanine, and even that far away from the stage it was high energy and a great vibe. HYPE Everyone was feeling the music and yes, there was shitloads of marijuana, even in a fancy theater venue like the Paramount in Seattle. But it's not overwhelming at all, even if you don't smoke. No one's aggressive or anything of the sort or passing judgement. Everybody's there to flip out over Snoop Dogg, dance, sing their hearts out, and have a good time. Snoop was so charismatic, captivating, and comfortable onstage. He never missed a beat or messed up his lyrics and put on a great show. I lost all inhibition dancing, and I'm usually self-conscious and anxious. Tons of fun. There were about five different groups opening, which lasted around three and a half hours (Puff Puff Pass Tour Part 2). Snoop was up there for about an hour and a half. He finished with Young, Wild & Free and spoke about all the hatred in the world in its current situation and how his tour was all about empathy, peace, and love and to stay strong. It was honestly beautiful. The show closed with Bob Marley's jamming. My clothes and hair still smelled like weed the day after. Definitely a must-see.

Thought the show was very entertaining! Snoop's got a great legacy and his story is definitely worthy of a play (and a movie as well, which we know will happen). Tamar Braxton was perfect as the Angel and WOW was really impressed with La Toya London's performance! Thought physically Lil JJ was too short to play Snoop but he very much acted the part and won me over. Oh and the visuals and sound effects were great too. Every time I heard gunshots I actually turned to make sure it wasn't real. LOL!!! So my only critique was it ran a little long, thought his story could have been told in less time. Other than that great job by everyone, cast, crew, the band.

Oh and forgot how much I despise the seating arrangement at Microsoft Theater. Rows are too long so if you're seated in middle seats you have to scoot by at least 10-14 people to get to your seat, annoying! Also people actually brought infants and small children. This is not a good place to bring children. Hire a babysitter! This along with the high ticket price, convenience charge, taxes and parking fees are probably why I will consider not going here again.

Okay, who doesn't love Snoop Dogg? Maybe my grandma, but otherwise, I can't think of anyone!

So, when I had the opportunity of a lifetime to see Snoop Dogg (and others) live I was more than thrilled. I was excited as I have ever been in my entire life. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. Snoop Dogg is a legend in the rap world and he did nothing less than live up to that legacy during this show at Coachella.

He kept the audience involved in the show the entire time. There was not one dull moment, it was probably one of the best nights of my life. At one time, I swear he even looked right at me and pointed and winked at me. I almost died! I was so excited.

His music is well, Snoop Dogg's music and if you like it you love it. I enjoyed all the old school music that he played as well as some of the newer songs he has.

His performance was great. He had me smiling the entire time, I seriously couldn't believe I was seeing Snoop Dogg. Like, it was him, right there in front of me. I will never forget that night. One of the best ever!

Last night's snoop show was a blast !! We puffed puffed passed till we couldn't anymore cuz the show ended but The smooth dark chocolate rapper has done it again in Colorado showing us that his vital stamina and pure heart and soulkeeps him ahead of the pack !! Well since it was spoiled rasta Rosa's 4 th Snoopsy concert in 2016 I'll rate it #2 after the 420 concert with wiz @ Fiddlers Green in April I loved the old school feel with Bone Thigs and harmony it was like my cherry got poped again 18 years later took me right back to the Glorydays !!! Lol I love you Snoop I am your biggest Fan from Colorado. It's funny Snoop was talking about bucket lists last night and go sure smoking with the Dogg face to face blowing o's in each other's face is definitely on my bucket list ! Bring The wifey and Martha we will all get down ! Thank you Snoop for listening to yourself to be who you are you inspire the best of us !!!

Well, it was great to see him do so many hits, (and I actually really admired the athleticism of the 2 pole dancers on the stage). However, it really felt like he was phoning it in. The show was 1 long medley. I don't think he performed 1 song from beginning to end, and there was definitely a lack of energy on the stage. But, ya know what? My friend and I agreed; if anyone has earned the right to do that, it's him at this point in his career. Now, if I had paid $150 or $300 I would've been pissed and felt ripped off. But the for the $60 I paid, it was fine. We enjoyed the show, and I always enjoy going to the Concord in Chicago - it's a great venue: best acoustics anywhere, plenty of elbow room even for sold out shows, and plenty of bars with little or no waiting.

tdub100’s profile image

The overall show was 5.5 hours so it was good value from that perspective. Kudos to the long line-up. I've seen Snoop perform about 10 times. The good thing is that his overall stage presence was fairly long and he touched on many songs, albums and artists and he made a decent effort. The bad part is that he shortens all the songs by about half, to ensure he can cover more songs (which I think is fine), but also speeds the bpm of songs which makes them a bit disorienting to those that know the songs and lyrics. I didn't love the dancing girls personally but that is a matter of taste. Wow, since he stopped wearing Adidas, his wardrobe style ranking has sure dropped a quite a few levels! ; )

The concert all the way around was so LIT

I have been to many concerts and I would have to say by far the best concert I have ever witnessed in my life. I can’t even say who was better Bone Thugz, Warren G and Snoop where all amazing !!! I am so happy that I was able to witness this concert and the storm going down in the back round just made the concert that much better !!

danielle-marie-63’s profile image

It sucked. Cypress hill was dope... if they promoted that snoop dogg and wiz were collaborating and performing together I would have never gone. It was garbage snoop should just stick to himself on stage and play his style of music. Don't waste your money on going. Unless u like that new style of "hip hop" than its perfect but if not than definitely don't waste your money
