My daughter 1st concert... slipknot.

My teenage daughter officially became a maggot on Easter Sunday in Vancouver! Told me it was the best night of her life. Fuck ya!

Too expensive

The show was amazing they played great everything was on point and I loved the music and the fans I interacted with. The only complaint was the food, drinks and t-shirts. $11 for a beer $10 for a shot of vodka and 50 for a T-shirt. Ended up spending more than I wanted. If you end up going to one of these events I suggest you pre game and eat food before you go. T-shirts are a given cause they’re merchandising but seriously too expensive. But overall I loved it!

One of the best show of my life. The first parts were insane too (Ho99o9 was a nice group to discover, ans Cypress Hill were as good as always)

True to the word showmanship. 5 Star performance

Sad to not see Sen Dog(I was really there for Cypresshill).

What a show. Corey Taylor’s vocal capabilities are astounding. Show quality was amazing. 5 STARS

F****** Epic!

Third time and certainly won't be the last time!!! Performance 5 star, Music 5 star, what else could you ask for? 🤟🏼

Holy f**** even Corey Taylor

Holy f even Corey Taylor had to be like “holy fuck” when we were all singing along with every word. And as a special surprise for Toronto they played snuff. Beyond honoured. Thank you guys we could feel how special Toronto was in your heart.

I had the time of my life at this concert. The light show combined with the energy from the band and all the viewers was incredible. Corey stopped the show for a fan who was down and even re started the encore after he made sure everyone was ok. The songs sounded BETTER than in my headphones, I’m very convinced this will be the best show I’ll ever attend.

Great Show! Great stage presence! We brought our 10 and 13 yr old daughters for their first concert and it will be one they will never forget! They had a blast! We had a blast! It was a blast! We will be going when they come to town again 🤘🏻

Fucking great.

I dont have words to describe the experience i had. Best night of my life and I also got to see Cyprus hill, they are awesome. Slipknot is one of the best live bands ever.

Recent tour reviews

I've seen Slipknot quite a few times now, and they ALLWAYS deliver a remarkable show, with proper energy, musical quality in their performance, and almost theatrical charismatics that keeps blowing me away.

The Telenor Arena's sound ALMOST ruined the experience, as it just can't handle this sort of scale audience, the whole audio-experience seems dull and horribly low quality if you move anywhere towards the middle of the crowd or backwards in the standing section of the audience.

First part of slipknot and All of behemoth was simply drowned out, and they somehow managed to turn the sound up a notch throughout the show.. but I won't be going back there, unless they either lower the prices or upp their sound-quality.

Slipknot were amazing, first time seeing them live. However... the sound system was dire, we really had to shift forward to hear what was going on. We could only hear the bassline and some drums. Couldn’t hear guitars or vocals clear. My videos picked the sound up a little, but you can hear everyone talking it was that quiet. Only reason I say this is that I saw Korn play with Limp Bizkit at this same venue (Arena Birmingham) in 2016... and Ray Luziers drums standing at the back of the venue near where you walk in, his snares and kicks hit you in the chest like thunder, and you could hear the clarity of the vocals, guitars, bass, everything. This time around for Slipknot unfortunately the sound just wasn’t on par which is a shame

Since I hadn’t seen them since Vol. 3, there is a lot of material I have never caught live yet. As I said, I like every Slipknot album. (Probably every Slipknot song if you don’t count demos and remixes). Unfortunately, they didn’t play anything off of ‘Gray Chapter this time, which I was a bit gutted by. I really like that album and would have loved to see something like ‘Custer,’ ‘AOV’ or ‘Sarcastrophe’ live. ‘Custer’ especially. From the first time I heard it I said to myself ”that is a song that will be in their setlists forevermore.” They also only played one song from All Hope Is Gone. I guess that’s reason enough to try see them a few more times, as I really want to catch more songs I haven’t heard live before. I’m keen to hear it all.

But given how great the new album is, I was most keen to see material from We Are Not Your Kind live. I was thinking about how much I wanted it on such a regular basis since end of the week that the album was released and it had all started to click with me. Turns out I was in luck, because if you count the 2018 stand-alone single ‘All Out Life’ which technically isn’t on the album (but which features the lyric ‘we are not your kind’ repeatedly chanted and I always mentally count as being part of that album, and have attached to the album in my itunes and on my phone and just pretend it is on the album anyway), then they played 5 new songs. Aforementioned ‘All Out Life.’ Big single ‘Unsainted,’ which opened the show. The dark, weird, almost formless album closer ‘Solway Firth.’ The groovy ‘Birth Of The Cruel’ and the stompy new single ‘Nero Forte.’ It was great to see this much new material live. It shows you how much confidence the band must have in the new album, and given the audience reaction, this confidence was well placed.

Not counting intros and outros over the speakers, there were 17 tracks. 6 of which I had never seen live before. Pretty great value. No wonder they didn’t have room for much material off All Hope’ or ‘Gray Chapter. The rest of the set featured the big singles from Vol 3; ‘Duality,’ ‘Before I Forget’ and ‘Vermillion’ as well as many classic concert favourites from the debut like ‘(Sic),’ ‘Surfacing’ and ‘Eyeless’ and topped off with a few of the heavier numbers from Iowa, like ‘Disasterpiece’ and ‘People=Shit.’

Slipknot are pretty great at mixing up sets, and not just playing the same thing every tour, swapping in a surprise or two, and dropping a few expected tunes now and again for a deep cut. The (sort of) surprises in the set were first album bonus-track ‘Eeyore’ and Iowa deepish-cut ‘New Abortion’ although I have seen both live before and both have been on official live releases so not super surprising if you want to be pedantic, but I was satisfied. In terms of dropping an expected tune, this time they dropped ‘Spit It Out’ which is almost unfathomable, as therefore they didn’t do the ‘’Jump The Fuck Up’’ moment, (where they make the whole crowd crouch for a few minutes then jump up in unison) but I’ve had that three times and on all their live albums too, so I was glad to lose it if it meant more time for new songs.

In terms of stage show, it was the biggest and best I’d ever seen them. There were videoscreens all over the place (even on the drums). There was pyro and steam. There were fireworks. There was a Nikki Sixx style bass guitar flamethrower like on Motley Crue’s The End DVD. There were treadmills which the more expendable members like the DJ, Sid, would go and play about on when not needed musically. He did the moonwalk on a treadmill at one point. Their setlist didn’t feature many turn-table focused songs this time so I guess he’s got to do something. Clown got a flaming baseball bat out for the keg smashes on ‘Duality.’

Performance and sound wise, it was really good. That’s not always a given. As much as love this band, they aren’t what I’d call consistent. Some bands are just perfect every single time (Hatebreed spring to mind). Slipknot are not one of those bands. I mean, when you have 9 members, complex awkward songs with atypical structures, and a singer inside a mask running around, its hard to get everything sounding perfect…

If you look across all of Slipknot’s official and unofficial live releases, you’ll notice they have been really hit and miss over the years in terms of both vocals and audio mix. Even on just their Voliminal DVD, which features footage from a few different shows, the live stuff goes from amazing to quite poor. The 9.0 live album which I mentioned earlier features material from across a whole tour, and that album has quite poor live vocals and subpar sound mixes. Conversely though the Disasterpeices and (Sic)nesses DVDs have superb live vocals and mixes and are absolutely must-own. The pro shot live stuff from various festivals on the first two album cycles is really mixed also. I remember MTV2 used to have footage of the band on the Iowa cycle in Germany, where Corey’s vocals were really muffled and the kick drums overpowered all the guitars. When I first got into them, on the debut album cycle, the only live stuff available was bootlegs, and they were always pretty rough. You could get pirate CDs from shows like their first time in London or from dates on the US Ozzfest, but you could tell from the CD that Corey was running around, bouncing and going crazy so much, that the vocals would suffer. Even my own live experiences of the band were mixed. When I saw them live myself in Belfast the mix and vocals were brilliant and its still one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. When I saw them headlining on the Vol. 3 cycle, the vocals were poor (he has discussed in interviews over the years that he was drinking heavily in that period) but the mix was great. When I saw them supporting Metallica on that same album cycle, the mix was poor but the vocals were good. As I said, its not a given.

I guess there’s a lot of variables for the soundmen to get right and lots of chances to get it wrong. Depending on how much running and bouncing singer Corey Taylor does, and how his mask affects the microphones, there’s a big gap between his best and his worst shows.

However, tonight it was great. It was pretty close to a perfect show. I mean, if I had to pick pedantic holes in it then I guess the guitar-intro to ‘Surfacing’ sounded a bit weird, and the vocals on the chorus to ‘Nero Forte’ were a bit thin, but otherwise it was magnificent.

The sound mix was perfectly balanced. Even the additional percussion was actually audible and you could tell why they have three drummers. The bass was thick. The guitars were clear and didn’t go muddy. The drum kit was powerful and you could pick every element out individually. The vocals were just right. I couldn’t have asked for a better mix.

The band were energetic and enthusiastic and played like a band on the rise. Drums were absolutely battered. Riffs were practically thrown into the crowd. I guess buoyed by the success of the new album, they are revitalised and fired-up. This was definitely the 2nd-best I ever seen them live; sceond only to that very first time I saw them, back in Belfast in 2002, which boasted many more songs from my favourite album, Iowa, in the set, and featured the classic line-up when they were still mysterious and I was wide-eyed and young. (And to be fair, my memory of that could in fact be a little clouded in a rose-tinted teenage nostalgia).

I always regretted not seeing them live on the last two album cycles, but I would have been heartbroken to miss them this time. Thank goodness for the weird phone/website discrepancy! This was awesome. One of the bands that have meant the most to me in my whole life, playing brilliantly, with a great setlist and sounding great. This is going to be a show I remember for a long time.

SLIPKNOT Announce Here Comes The Pain North American Summer Tour

Facebook icon

Celebrating 25 Years of ‘Slipknot’ with special guests Knocked Loose, Orbit Culture, and Vended

Knotfest artist presale tickets available today at 12pm et here, general public on sale friday, may 3 at 10 am local here.

Heavy titans and cultural phenomenon SLIPKNOT are pleased to announce the North American portion of their Here Comes The Pain Tour . This year the nine are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their seminal debut album, Slipknot , which catapulted the band back in 1999.

In addition to recently announced dates across the globe, the Here Comes The Pain Tour , produced by Live Nation, includes arena plays nationwide this Summer. Highlights include New York City’s Madison Square Garden, Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome, Austin’s Moody Center and more with direct support from Kentucky’s young and vibrant hardcore/metal forerunners, Knocked Loose . Orbit Culture and Vended are confirmed as support on select dates.

Knotfest.com’s artist presale tickets are available  today at 12PM ET here . Tickets will be available to the general public on Friday, May 3 at 10 AM Local here . See below for a full list of dates including Slipknot’s homecoming performance at Knotfest Iowa in which the band will play a unique set drawing heavily from their 1999 debut, celebrating 25 years of the self-titled album along with their fans.

There actually was a time when Slipknot and the maggots (the loving name for their fans) did not completely rule the world. 25 years ago, the Des Moines band were just some guys trying to get their new LP noticed– a record that would start their metamorphosis into the most crucial band of the 21st century. That record would change rock as we know it, measuring success with a yardstick bigger than music, one for the influence on youth culture writ large. But these faceless demons from middle America would not only capture the hearts of the youth, they would help guide their tastes, and challenge them and their kin towards a new future.

Released on June 29th, 1999, Slipknot’s self-titled debut was a smash hit with critics and an instant classic with fans. It was, and is, a molotov cocktail signaling a revolution– embracing a creative direction that eschewed metal traditions in favor of fresh ideas. While the jaw-clenching riffs coupled with Ross Robinson’s venomous production were crucial to the album’s success, it was the care and attention to detail in the songcraft that moved the needle from “great” to “benchmark.” Not too shabby for a bunch of guys that only hoped to be heard.

“We loved what we did with the first record but we didn’t even know if there was gonna be anything after that,” recalls guitarist Jim Root . “We just wanted people to hear it. Selling out of records and shows, having successful tours– those are goals for any band. But the dream scenario in some ways, came true for us.”

In the years following, Slipknot’s popularity nipped at the heels of elder statesmen and even the band’s heroes, eventually navigating this brave new world with unending drive, fresh ideas and a bloodlust for odometer clicks. Tens of billions of streams and tens of millions of subscribers and followers later, the accolades tell the story: 64 award nominations and 27 wins including a Grammy for “Before I Forget“ from Vol. 3 .  A seemingly endless number of tour dates. Headlining slots at some of the biggest festivals in the world such as Download, Rock In Rio, Hellfest, Wacken and many more. Not to mention RIAA certifications by the truckload– 14 platinum certifications and 40 gold across more than 30 million in record and video sales.

In addition, Slipknot positioned themselves for success with the creation of their own festival Knotfest in 2012, a traveling, multi-stage and experiential event that has appeared 28 times across several countries and locations. The festival has since spun off into a successful entertainment media hub – Knotfest.com , which became a juggernaut of its own making, giving a platform to young freethinkers and like-minded artists.

All of Slipknot’s achievements have helped them claim their rightful seat as pioneers and thought leaders, establishing them as a generational talent– loved by parents AND their children alike. And of course with all those incredible live performances, all that influence, and all that history of playing all those incredible SONGS, Slipknot has only attracted the most dedicated of fans, reaching all the way back to that fateful self-titled effort.

Slipknot is approaching this 25th anniversary by making the conscious decision to connect to fans as closely as possible, in a similar way to how they encountered Slipknot all those years ago. “Every time I’ve walked on stage, it’s never been about how many people have been there because my culture, the maggots, always show up,” says founding member Shawn “clown” Crahan with a smile.

“But as we’ve grown as a band, we have had fewer and fewer of those intimate, personal moments, trading them for massive ones. So we’re gonna make it more personal on the anniversary, but how remains to be seen. Just get ready to have your face kicked in. Because we just do what we do, spread that maggot culture – that disease. And you’ve been infected.”

Slipknot in Concert

Theatrical nu-metal act Slipknot approaches live concerts in a different fashion than most touring acts. Rather than being acknowledged by name, each member of the nine-piece act is referred to by a number and each dons an industrial jumpsuit and his own unique mask. The concept serves dual purposes: to entertain fans and keep the musicians focused on performing.

Since their 1995 debut, the Iowa-based heavy metal outfit has had an easy time selling albums and tickets, with their 1999 eponymous debut making it onto The Billboard 200 and earning double-platinum status. Three full-length releases have followed, with a 2014 collection rumored to be in the works.

Slipknot, a regular on the Ozzfest tour circuit along with their own headlining runs, earned a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2006 for the single "Before I Forget" from 2004's "Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses)." The band worked with iconic producer Rick Rubin on the collection, which marks the group's only profanity-free effort.

Slipknot on Tour

Following the enormous success of 2019's inaugural Knotfest Roadshow tour, the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning hard rock band, Slipknot announced they will headline the Knotfest Roadshow 2020. Joining them to showcase the best the world of heavy music has to offer are special guests A Day To Remember, Underoath and Code Orange.

To this day, my favorite concert.

No other way to explain slipknot in concert is the best thing ever. I went into my first MoshPit at slipknot and it was the most fun I can say I’ve ever had at any rock or metal concert. Plus they go nuts on stage.

if u never seen Slipkont your missing out

I should of posted this last year but i forgot but I just wanna say that if u have not seen Slipknot on tour your in for a treat, reason why is bc they make you fell like your at home and the mosh pits go crazy, also yes i am gen Z :P and one more thing when I was at Wacken for the 2022 festival i had a blast and i have no regrets when i got stepped on about 23 times every time i tripped over myself in the mosh pit!!!!!!!! but i do say again if u havent seen Slipknot on tour/concert you in for a searus treat!!!

3rd time and hopefully not last.

I've seen Slipknot 3 times now. Once in 2005, knottfest 21 and 22. One of the best live shows around. If they are within 200 miles, I'm there.

Epic first concert

I saw them live at Alpharetta, GA back in sept ‘22, it was my first ever concert and I was super ecstatic!

Best. Show. Ever.

Got to see them in Alpharetta, GA with Ice Nine Kills and Crown the Empire both of which were great bands to hear live too. My only regret is not getting tickets closer to the stage.

Knot such a fest

I saw them in Grand Rapids in 2022 and loved seeing Slipknot. I was however disappointed that the only other band was Cypress Hill. The bill called for a lot more bands but it just didn’t happen.

I was lucky enough to see Slipknot back in 2022 in Bristow, VA. To say it was one of the best experiences of my life is an understatement.

Slipknot in Brooklyn

Greatest show I've ever been to. I cannot wait to see them again... They always pick the best bands to tour with as well. Crazy energy. Awesome!!!!!!!!!!

This band never fails to disappoint, the only issue I have is that they need to create a new set list its been a while. Other than that they always put on an amazing show

All bands that performed was unbelievable showmen and all the music was great. The fans and experience was unbelievable. I will definitely be attending another concert and the Pit is calling my name!

slipknot tour canada 2023

There was never a band like SLIPKNOT, and there will never be another. Like a spore out of the Midwest, they’ve quietly bloomed into the most uncompromising, undeniable, and unique presence on the planet whose influence transcends genres and generations. Since sowing the seeds for revolution in Iowa during 1999, these musical outliers have captured a GRAMMY Award alongside 10 nominations, scored 12 Platinum / 41 Gold album certifications around the world, and logged over 8.5 billion global streams and 3.5 billion video views to date - unprecedented for a rock act in this generation or any other. Rolling Stone cited the seminal platinum-selling 2001 album Iowa among “The 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time,” while The Ringer attested, “They’re the most important heavy band of their era.” In addition to marking the group’s third consecutive #1 debut on the Billboard Top 200, their sixth full-length album, WE ARE NOT YOUR KIND, bowed at #1 in twelve countries worldwide in 2019. Selling out shows on multiple continents, they deliver an irreplicable multi-sensory experience on tour and through their own festival KNOTFEST. In 2023, they returned with their seventh album THE END, SO FAR, SLIPKNOT, and nothing has been the same since.

Slipknot Announce More 2023 Tour Dates

Slipknot are starting to get their 2023 touring plans in order, revealing the first extended run of tour dates for the new year. The band just announced a nine-date run through Europe that will take them from spring into summer.

The dates start on June 7 in Nickelsdorf, Austria and continue through the June 21 finale in Berlin, Germany. Along the way, the band will be playing at several European festivals including Nova Rock, Rock for People, Copenhell and the Graspop Metal Meeting. See all of the newly announced dates listed below.

These are not the first shows of 2023 the band has booked as Slipknot recently announced plans to take Knotfest to Australia. Those dates are book for March 24-26, with the festival stopping down in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane along the way. The group will then follow that with a two-night staging of Knotfest Japan on April 1 and 2. There's also a March 19 date on the books for the Hammersonic Festival in Jakarta, Indonesia. So far, no U.S. dates have been announced for 2023, but that could always change.

Slipknot’s Clown to Sit Out Upcoming Tour Dates, Issues Statement

Slipknot percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan will sit out an undetermined amount of upcoming shows, including an appearance at Download Festival , in order to tend to his wife who is dealing with "some health issues," as revealed in a personal statement on the band's social media pages.

The band is set to kick off a series of European tour dates today (June 7), which will occupy the remainder of the month before a stateside return for two festival appearances in July ( Rock Fest and Inkcarceration Festival ), followed by a performance at Blue Ridge Rock Festival in September.

In the statement, Clown details that he'll be spending time at home "supporting my wife through some health issues," with an aim to "be back on the road as soon as I can."

The percussionist, who had to bow out of an Australian tour in 2016 after the death of his father-in-law, notes, "We've been through this before and as always, we appreciate the love and support.

See the full statement directly below.

Hello to all of our fans, it’s the clown. I would like to take a moment to tell everyone that I’m back home supporting my wife through some health issues, and I’ll be back on the road as soon as I can. We’ve been through this before and as always, we appreciate the love and support. See all of you very soon. Thank you. clown

In a newly published interview that was conducted prior to this announcement, Clown tells Kerrang! that he is constantly feeling the weight of time itself and how it has come bearing down on him.

“I feel like I’m taking a much more different approach to every day that I live. I’m a much more spiritual man. I find my art is more honest and truthful if I allow myself to recognize who I am more," he says of the man he is today, adding, "The thing I’ve been fighting the most is the Clown. My therapist says that I only tell the truth when I’m wearing the mask. I’ll leave you to be the judge of that.

Clown Ponders His Own Future in Slipknot

Elsewhere, he ponders the significance of Slipknot as a band whose whole is greater than the sum of their parts, wondering just how much bigger this all is than himself as an individual member.

Clown asks Kerrang! , “I’ll leave that up to you, but this is the question: would the people of Download demand to see Slipknot still if I wasn’t in the band? I, Clown, am not in the band anymore. Do the people demand it? Tell me the truth, now. Don’t think about it."

The long-running heavy metal outlet offers a candid response, relaying that Slipknot are indeed bigger than its members and that "people come for the entity that is Slipknot, not because of who is individually behind each mask."

Appreciative of this honesty, Clown responds, “I want to thank you very much for saying that. Because in my life that I’ve dedicated to the wonderful thought process known as Slipknot, that I’ve shared with so many wonderful people, I believe that it is an entity. And quite frankly, I used to be made fun of by my own band members for using that word. I’d be like, ‘Slipknot is an entity, and if you don’t know it, it’s going to be. It’s going to encompass your thoughts, your feelings, goosebumps, your blood.’"

“I too believe that if the Clown was not onstage, after these 26 shows, that Slipknot would go on," he says, reassuring everyone (prior to the news about having to sit out to aid his wife), "Now, I am gonna be there! I’m just saying that when I walk out onstage every night, I’m gonna go, ‘Wow, can I be here?’ I’m scared. But that’s what Slipknot has been from day one. You’d better be scared, too.”

Slipknot announce 2023 European tour

Slipknot have announced a series of European dates taking place next summer!

Slipknot

Slipknot have announced a European tour for summer 2023. The Iowan nine-piece will take critically acclaimed (but, for fans, surprisingly divisive ) new album The End, So Far on the road for nine dates across June that'll take in stops in Austria, Czechia, Switzlerand, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, Belgium and, finally, two dates in Germany.

Interestingly, there is certainly scope for Slipknot to fit in a headline set at the UK's Download Festival during the tour, given that Download runs from June 8-11 and Slipknot currently have June 9 and June 11 free. Frontman Corey Taylor recently confirmed that he cannot confirm nor deny that Slipknot are headlining Download this year . Take from that what you will.

Either way, Slipknot's currently confirmed European dates for 2023 are as follows:

Slipknot European tour dates 2023

June 7 Nickelsdorf, Austria – Nova Rock June 8 Hradec, Czechia – Rock For People June 10 Interlaken, Switzerland – Greenfield June 13 Amsterdam, Netherlands – Ziggo Dome June 14 Esch-Sur-Alzette, Luxembourg – Rockhal June 16 Copenhagen, Denmark – Copenhell Festival June 17 Dessel, Belgium – Graspop Metal Meeting June 20 Hamburg, Germany – Barclays Arena June 21 Berlin, Germany – Mercedes Benz Arena

Slipknot's Corey Taylor recently spoke to Metal Hammer about The End, So Far and its more experimental nature.

“I’ve been telling people that this is the natural companion piece to  Vol. 3  [ : (The Subliminal Verses ) ],” explained Corey. “Because on [2004’s]  Vol. 3  we were really starting to come into our own, as far as being confident in our writing and being able to risk not just going full bore, running at you with all the intensity, but being able to expand what we do. Because of what was going on with the band internally, we forgot that we were a band who could go and do that. We touched on it, but we never got back to that concerted, ‘Let’s really push the boundaries of what a band like this can do.’ It felt good to kind of get back to this world building.”

The End, So Far is out now via Roadrunner.

KK'S PRIEST And ACCEPT Announce Summer/Fall 2024 North American Tour

KK'S PRIEST , which features former JUDAS PRIEST members K.K. Downing (guitar) and Tim "Ripper" Owens (vocals),alongside guitarist A.J. Mills ( HOSTILE ),bassist Tony Newton ( VOODOO SIX ) and drummer Sean Elg ( DEATHRIDERS , CAGE ),and German/American metal legends ACCEPT will join forces this fall 2024 for an unmissable North American tour. Both bands are touring in support of their brand new albums, out now via Napalm Records .

The massive run will begin on August 31 in Los Angeles, California, visiting a slew of major cities in the USA and Canada — such as Toronto, Montreal, New York and Nashville — before coming to an end in San Francisco, California on October 7. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, May 9 at 10:00 a.m. EDT, so get your tickets quickly before it's too late.

Downing says: "It's time!!! Let the full European metal assault commence, KK'S PRIEST / ACCEPT . Not since 1983 have we shared the same battleground. From Germany, from the U.K., let the Flying Vs clash, let the metal fly! All in the name of defending our beloved heavy metal music, let the people come from all walks of life to witness the battle royal. There is no doubt that we warriors of metal will give every ounce of our energy and our power in order to deliver up our very finest performance. This is a spectacle not to be missed, and this is possibly the one and only time in history for you to witness this iconic duel. Who will be the victor? You will be the judge, let the music begin from early August to early October... The arena awaits!!"

ACCEPT 's Wolf Hoffmann says: "This tour with KK'S PRIEST is a dream come true for ACCEPT and for me personally.

" ACCEPT supported JUDAS PRIEST back in the early '80s — it was our first 'real' international tour and PRIEST had been a huge influence on us.

"I'm really looking forward to reconnecting with K.K. on this very special tour. It's going to be epic! Don't miss it!"

KK'S PRIEST 's first-ever U.S. headlining tour, which featured support from L.A. GUNS and BURNING WITCHES , kicked off on March 7 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and concluded on March 24 at Keswick Theatre in Glenside, Pennsylvania.

KK'S PRIEST 's sophomore album, "The Sinner Rides Again" , came out in September 2023 via the Austrian label Napalm Records .

KK'S PRIEST made its live debut on July 6, 2023 at Downing's KK's Steel Mill in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom.

K.K. formed KK'S PRIEST after JUDAS PRIEST turned down his offer to rejoin the band for their 50th-anniversary tour. It followed a couple of celebrated stage appearances, first with former MANOWAR guitarist Ross The Boss in the summer of 2019, then with a one-off lineup that included former MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson and former PRIEST drummer Les Binks later that year.

KK'S PRIEST released its debut album, "Sermons Of The Sinner" , in October 2021 via Explorer1 Music Group / EX1 Records .

Downing spent four months writing and recording "Sermons Of The Sinner" and, along with new ideas, he even resurrected a few archived riffs from the 1980s.

Downing was reunited with JUDAS PRIEST for a performance at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony in November 2022 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

PRIEST received the Musical Excellence Award at the event, which honored Eminem , Dolly Parton , DURAN DURAN , Lionel Richie , Pat Benatar , EURYTHMICS and Carly Simon in the Performers category.

Downing left PRIEST in 2011 amid claims of band conflict, shoddy management and declining quality of performance. He was replaced by Richie Faulkner , nearly three decades his junior.

In 2019, Downing said that he reached out to JUDAS PRIEST about taking part in the band's 50th-anniversary tour but that their response was that they were not interested in including him in the celebrations.

In 2018, Downing revealed that he sent two resignation letters to his bandmates when he decided to quit JUDAS PRIEST . The first was described as "a graceful exit note, implying a smooth retirement from music," while the second was "angrier, laying out all of his frustrations with specific parties."

Downing later said that he believed the second letter was "a key reason" he wasn't invited to rejoin PRIEST after Glenn Tipton 's decision to retire from touring.

Owens joined PRIEST in 1996 and recorded two studio albums with the band — 1997's "Jugulator" and 2001's "Demolition" — before PRIEST reunited with Rob Halford in 2003.

ACCEPT 's latest album, "Humanoid" , was released on April 26 via Napalm Records . The LP was once again produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by critically acclaimed heavy metal producer Andy Sneap .

ACCEPT recently announced a massive European headline tour, with more than 20 shows across the continent for autumn 2024. This summer, ACCEPT will also return to some of the world’s most important rock and metal festivals, like Wacken Open Air , Hellfest and more, following their South American spring tour.

In the fall of 2022, ACCEPT completed a North American tour with support from NARCOTIC WASTELAND . The band played a career-spanning set of new and classic tracks, including mega-hits "Balls To The Wall" , "Princess Of The Dawn" , "Fast As A Shark" and many more.

In February 2022, it was announced that ACCEPT had inked a worldwide deal with Napalm Records .

ACCEPT 's previous album, "Too Mean To Die" , came out in January 2021 via Nuclear Blast . The LP was the group's first without bassist Peter Baltes , who exited ACCEPT in November 2018. He has since been replaced by Martin Motnik . ACCEPT 's lineup has also been expanded with the addition of a third guitarist, the aforementioned Philip Shouse , who originally filled in for Uwe Lulis during 2019's "Symphonic Terror" tour, before being asked to join the band permanently.

Mark Tornillo joined ACCEPT in 2009 as the replacement for the band's original lead singer, Udo Dirkscheider . He can be heard on ACCEPT 's last six studio albums, "Blood Of The Nations" (2010), "Stalingrad" (2012), "Blind Rage" (2014), "The Rise Of Chaos" (2017),2021's "Too Mean To Die" and 2024's "Humanoid" .
