Anex Tour refund problems

**Edit: After urgency they refunded whole cost. Stars changed from 1 to 3. Anex tour is one big scam travel agency. We booked a tour, canceled it on the same day and still haven't received the money. It's been almost a year. Support replied that they were forwarding it to a certain department, but no response since then. We have been ripped off and Invia should be ashamed of themselves for delivering tours through such a dubious company.

Egoistic Drivers and Travel Agents who dont speak english

We stayed in Thailand, Moracea Hotel, when the Anex Tour Bus arrived they completely blocked all incoming traffic to the hotel and didnt care about shiet. We waited for our taxi and seen it but it couldnt get in. Travel agent stormed past us, they took all the their time unloading luggage mind you, the bus driver could have driven into the hotel parking spot. When we talked to him he ignored us.

we had a trip booked through an annex employee who gave us wrong information. after reviewing our complaint, they wrote to us from the annex that we should solve the problems with the agency through which we went on the trip, that they do not take responsibility. We were deceived by their person who gave us wrong information, because of which we had to pay extra for the trip! How can they say that they are not responsible. the change did not occur in the implementation of the trip, but in the information he gave us.

Zero customer Support - Be aware

It is simple, if you need to call or any support from them you will understand this ULTRA low score! They do not focus on customer support, like answering emails or waiting 30+ min to get your call answered (observation - there is not urgent support). In another words, if you got all 100% ok, that is good you will not need them, however, if you have a simple inquiry you are ALONE! They should spent less money on advertising and more on customer support. This company never again!!!

I do not recommend Anex tour

My husband and I booked our holidays in Turkey with Anex tour. They offered us during the first day small daily trips. The main problems were: 1) the prices were overrated compared with other local agencies. However we hadn't that information when we agreed for the trip, and they wanted the payment fast, in the same day. 2) after 2 days I canceled that trip because I wasn't feeling well because of the pregnancy. I asked for a refund but they gave nothing. Firstly their argument to deny the payment was late notification, and secondly they ask for document to prove my sickness. I think that this agency wants just to steal money from the tourist.

Guys stay away from this Turkish tour guide. They will never assist you if you need help. They left me stranded on Dominican island without any assistance or even offer a return ticket back because I got Covid. I had to pay a one way return ticket for over 1000 usd. They will take your money and leave you like garbage in a bin.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND Anex Tour

I DO NOT RECOMMEND Anex Tour. In April 2023 we had a trip from Prague to Turkey through them and we got a delegate named Caglar K. He robbed us of our money, then ignored calls and messages. We tried to resolve the situation directly through the agency, where repeatedly no one answered the phone and no one responded to emails either. We contacted Invia to help us ( they brokered a tour with Anex) and unfortunately nothing has been resolved yet. Anex Tour and their delegate Caglar K. robbed us of 150€ for a trip that, through his fault, did not take place and there was no refund. It ruined the last 3 days of our trip and we still came home poorer.

Never ever book again with Anex tours

Customer service is unreachable Average waiting time 1 hour When you eventually have someone on the phone they give you a wrong answer or say they can't help. After a few calls I ended up with someone that did help me ( total call time 3,5 hours from Holland to Germany). Send numerous emails: NO reply Send Facebook message: NO reply Their representative in Hurgada knows absolutely nothing . Waist of energy and time to talk to this man. Sorry I never book with this company again They book the trip , send the papers and that's it. Don't expect any service at all

We are writing to express our dissatisfaction with the tour we booked with you on 24.04.2023. We bought two vouchers from you for 100€ each, but later we discovered that the same tour was offered for others travelers for 85€. Furthermore, we were not informed about the details of the tour itinerary. We expected a pleasant and relaxing day trip, but instead we had to wake up at 3:55 am and spend more than 16 hours on the road. We had to stop at a store, a wine tasting, and two restaurants that were not part of our original plan. We had a Russian-speaking guide. She was nice! We were very disappointed and exhausted by this experience. We did not get what we paid for and what we expected from your agency. We request a full refund of our vouchers or a compensation of 15€ per person for the difference in price and the inconvenience caused. We hope you will take our complaint seriously and respond to us as soon as possible.

Customer service is a big zero

Customer service is a big zero! I called the customer service in Düsseldorf. First, they kept me waiting forever till someone answered the call. Then, the woman (with very poor German) had absolutely no idea how to handle my request. She put me several times on hold, finally said, she would call me back as she need to speak to her colleague. When she called me back, she had a solution, all was good and settled. 10 minutes later, she called me back again and informed that what she said was not possible any more, our request would cost now more than 300 euros extra. Ridiculous!

I wouldn't recommend this company…

I wouldn't recommend this company because the adventure started from our arrival at the hotel. Our flight was delayed, therefore the guide left us with the Turkish driver who did not know any languages either Russian or English. We had a group of 18 people from different hotels, so the driver asked the GPS how to get to the hotels and it took 3 hours of going in rounds. We were extremely exhausted when he left us at the wrong hotel and went away. We had to take the taxi and paid quite a lot of money because it was 30 minutes to our hotel by taxi. The guide from Anex Tour said that they would not give us the refund even though we gave him the receipt from the taxi driver.

Anex Tour can be even better

We, 2 persons, chose Anex Tour for Egypt (Sharm El Sheikh) travel on January 23-31, 2022. The overall travel experience is pretty much positive - Anex Tour agents are taking care and all the formalities during entire trip. After our arrival Anex Tour employee advertised several possible tours organized by agency. We have decided to align with Anex Tour employee dates, conditions and order one of the offers that we were interested in. Then suddenly we found out that our travel date is deferent that was agreed with Anex Tour. As we found out from Anex Tour employee it happened due to lack of the free place for needed date. We were surprised as we have informed employee regarding specific week day and time that fit our schedule and it was almost one week before the trip. It happened that nobody from Anex Tour side was asking for our approval for changing trip date. Unfortunately agency was not able to do a refund or add us to the list of tourists who travel on agreed at the beginning date. Long story short - keep an eye on Anex Tour in order to get what you are expecting and agreed with them. It will help to avoid miss understanding and do your trip even better.

Excursion disaster with Anex tour Sharm el Sheikh

I am writing this review while in being here Sharm el Sheikh to warn other tourists against buying excursions from Anex tour. We bought an excursion from Anex tour for 340 dollars per person, the programme included: flight to Luxor, visiting the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, the temple of Hatshepsut, Karnak and Luxor temples, lunch, Russian-speaking Egyptologist!!!!. All this was promised to us by a guide from Anex tour company called Mizu. We have warned Mizu that we are aware of overestimated cost of excursion (within guides who just walk around the hotel this tour costs 215-225 dollars per person), but we expect qualitative service on history of Ancient Egypt. On arrival at Luxor early in the morning we were met by our guide Dua, who began her story about the city itself. Her language skills left a lot to be desired, but that was not the main problem. The problem was that she rarely threw uninformative phrases about the cost of education in kindergarten, school, Luxor University, about the harvest of wheat, mangoes, papyrus and nothing of the great history of Ancient Egypt. It even got to the absurd: when we asked about the statue of an armed man in front of the Luxor hospital, she said: "Just some man!". At the first point of the tour, she recited a memorised text for 15 minutes, sent us to take pictures and sat in the shade. She did the same at the second point. So instead of allotted 1,5 - 2 hours on each point of the excursion, we finished in 30 min. For lunch we arrived at 11 am!!! as we quickly galloped through the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, Hatshepsut's tomb and even to the souvenir shop at her insistence. Then after lunch (it was closer to 12:00) she started persuading us to deviate from the planned itinerary, to buy a trip to the island of monkeys and a boat trip from her, because it is hot for her to lead the excursion now. We refused the monkey island, she reluctantly took us to Karnak and Luxor temples, again 15 minutes of quick memorised text, again sending us off to take photos on our own. Thus, we arrived at Luxor airport at 16:30 when other tourists who had taken similar excursions were arriving by 19:00. Our guide Dua proved herself to be unprofessional, lazy, greedy and most importantly, leaving an extremely negative impression of the country. In addition, being in the same Karnak or Luxor museum, seeing how the guides of other groups work, strengthened the impression of complete deception on her part. Conclusions include: 1. Do not take excursions from Anex tour as the price is inflated by at least 40% (this is after persistent haggling); 2. The ratio of price to quality of the tour does not correspond at all, as they take just locals who know Russian and are so lazy that they can't even read Wikipedia on the eve of the tour; 3. not to come to Egypt anymore, as the overall service is only getting worse, and rogue guides leave an extremely negative impression. If this review will be read by Egyptian tourism representatives, please licence the activities of the guides. These unprofessionals are a disgrace to your history and your heritage and are creating a reputation of constant trickery and deceit amongst numerous peoples! We as tourists go back home and recount all our failures in Egypt.

FRAUDULENT COMPANY.

Anex tours is a terrible agency to use. Me and my family booked a tour to Istanbul as an English family. The company representative (knowing our nationality by our passports and the way we spoke) booked us for a RUSSIAN tour. Since then the company has failed to apologise for the uncomfort we felt during our stay. DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING THROUGH THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY.

Anex Tour to be world's 2nd-largest tour operator after acquiring Thomas Cook's Russian, German legs

By betül alakent.

With the finalization of the deals, the number of people traveling with Anex Tour will increase to 8 million, while its turnover is expected to rise to $10 billion, company Chairman Neşet Koçkar said

Turkish tour operator giant Anex Tour is about to become the world's second-largest tour operator after it acquired the Russian and German subsidiaries of the bankrupt British travel firm, Thomas Cook.

The world’s oldest travel firm collapsed in September after it failed to finalize a restructuring plan, stranding over a hundred thousand passengers, and the heavily indebted business has been sold off in parts.

Anex Tour Chairman Neşet Koçkar, the second-largest shareholder in the Thomas Cook Group after Chinese investment company Fosun International, announced on Friday the signing of an agreement to acquire Intourist, Russia’s oldest travel agency, from the British group. The size of the deal was not disclosed.

After Intourist, Koçkar on Saturday told the Turkish language daily, Sabah that they also signed a preliminary agreement to acquire Öger Tours, Bucher Reisen and Neckermann, the British group’s German leg.

With the acquisitions, Anex Tour will become the second-largest tour operator in the world after German TUI. With the deal, the number of people traveling with Anex will increase to 8 million, while the company’s turnover is expected to reach 10 billion euros ($11.05 billion).

Koçkar told Sabah that as a Turkish company, they are taking steps towards becoming a global player. “We are trying to give direction to world tourism on behalf of Turkish tourism,” he said. “The purchase of shares from Thomas Cook was a step in this direction. Before the bankruptcy, we wanted to take the branches in Russia and Germany. After the bankruptcy, we developed our strategy in line with this goal.”

He explained that they took over all the domestic and international operations of Intourist, the company's Russian leg, adding they plan to protect Intourist, which is a 90-year-old brand.

Intourist is Russia’s oldest tour operator, created by the Soviet authorities in 1929 to organize highly controlled visits to the USSR for foreign visitors. It was privatized in the early 1990s. Late last year Thomas Cook bought Intourist from billionaire Vladimir Yevtushenkov's Sistema holding firm.

TURNOVER TO REACH $10 BILLION

Friday's deal will see Koçkar acquire Thomas Cook's inbound, outbound and domestic tour operator businesses, as well as retail stores, technology and other assets, according to Intourist’s statement. It said the completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

The chairman also said on Friday that once they have recapitalized and restructured Intourist, they intend to share Intourist with the Russian people through an initial public offering (IPO) to celebrate its glorious comeback.

Koçkar noted that they signed the preliminary agreement for Öger Tours, Bucher Reisen and Neckermann. “Öger Tours is a very old Turkish brand. It was a matter of pride for us to get it back. Neckermann and Bucher are also among the biggest brands in Germany. We are also taking over all of the domestic and international operations of these brands,” Koçkar said.

Anex Tour carried some 1.9 million people to Turkey so far in 2019, the chairman stated. “Of this, 150,000 were from Germany and 1.7 million from Russia and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries. With the impact of acquisitions next year, this figure will increase by more than 50% and exceed 3 million,” he continued.

After the procurement operations, the company’s turnover will rise to 10 billion euros, Koçkar further said, adding the number of people traveling will reach 8 million. “Thus, after TUI, the second-largest tour operator in the world will be a Turkish company,” he noted.

Koçkar further stressed that after the completion of the purchasing operations in Russia and Germany, they expect to sit down at the table again with Chinese Fosun, adding they are open to negotiations for Thomas Cook's U.K. operation as well.

FROM RUSSIA AND UKRAINE THROUGH ITS AIRLINE AZUR AIR

anex tour impressum

The tour operator ANEX Tour reported that the 20 weekly flights from  Russia  and  Ukraine to the Dominican Republic are confirmed for the winter season 2021-2022. All of them will be made by the airline Azur Air  to La Romana  International Airport .

Charter flight scheduling will begin in October, with routes from four new regions of Russia and Ukraine, doubling the number of tourists brought to the country from those nations before the pandemic.

ANEX, which is among the leading tour operators for the Dominican Republic in the Russian and Ukrainian markets, said that to the current flights from  Moscow, Yekaterinburg,  and St. Petersburg,  new routes would be added from the Rostov, Kazan, Ufa, Novosibirsk regions.

It will be, said ANEX Tour, “the largest charter flight program made from these markets to Dominican airports,” which confirms its business leadership.

“Now we will reach more regions of Russia to be able to promote tourism to the country and make it more accessible and comfortable with direct flights,” the company says in a press release.

ANEX Tour will have daily flights from Kiev and Moscow, two flights every 11 days from St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg, and one flight every ten days from Kazan Rostov, Ufa, and Novosibirsk. All include business class and catering services.

Russia is one of the most important international markets for Dominican tourism.  From 79,668 Russians received in 2010, it went to 217,082 in 2019.  Ukraine contributed 5,531 tourists in 2010 and reached 29,769 in 2018.  In 2021, 50,998 Ukrainians transported mainly by ANEX Tour had been received, representing 15% of Europeans arriving in the country by air.

“Our main goal was to double our 2019-2020 pre-pandemic winter capacity for the 2021-2022 winter season and we are proud to achieve this goal,” highlighted ANEX Tour.

ANEX thanked the “full support” it received from the ministries of Foreign Affairs and Tourism, the Civil Aviation Board (JAC),   La Romana Airport,  and the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in the Russian Federation.

“We are grateful to have partners from all segments of the tourism industry who support us and who choose to be part of the growth of tourism with us investing and growing in the Dominican Republic.  We value their full support and believe in joining forces,” the ANEX Tour statement reads.

Becourse of this I think tourists from other countries Will stop coming to DR

Stop talking negative, we welcome any person that want to visit ours country. They are helping us to have a job and earn a great living. Todos los turistas son bienvenidos. Y serán tratados con respeto y un servicio excelente. Arriba DR mi patria.

DR better ask for a PCR test from these tourists. We are asking for trouble allowing in this many tourists without a negative Covid test. Collectively between those two countries they have almost 30,000 cases a day.

Perm, Russia General info on the city of Perm A short intro... Perm is the most Eastern city of Europe, and therefore its province is often referred to as Eurasia. Having a population of 1 million, Perm' is one of the largest cities in Russia and the second largest in the Urals. The city was formerly called Molotov, after the minister of foreign affairs during Joseph Stalin's ruling. Perm stretches 65 km along the impressive Kama River - Europe's 4th largest river by length. The Perm province, "Permskiy Krai", or "Prikamye", is around two-third the size of the United Kingdom and covers a great area in the very heart of the Ural Mountains. Perm is internationally known as the name for the geological period (290 - 245 million years ago) in which the Ural Mountain Range was formed. In contrary to the Urals, Perm itself is rather young. Although the first settlement of Perm dates back to 16th century, officially it got its city status in 1723. Citizens still loudly celebrate Perm's birthday on 12th of June, with street parades, concerts and fireworks throughout the whole city! In spite of being a relatively young city, Perm played an important role in the history of Russia. Not the least part of this role was played by Ermak, who was from the Perm Province. Ermak, by order of the Stroganov family, gathered an army here and led it through the Urals, later to succesfully conquer Siberia for Russia. Afterwards, when a road was needed to connect Siberia with the west, construction was started in Perm, which was at that time the capital of the Ural region. The new road, together with the construction of the Trans Siberian Railroad, allowed development of the places east of the Urals - current big cities such as Ekaterinburg, Omsk and Novosibirsk, were merely peasant or miners' towns by that time. Nowadays, Perm basically owes its existence to two factors. Firstly the large amounts of natural resources (minerals, oil and timber) that are present in the region, and secondly (but not less important): its location. The mighty Kama River, the Great Trans Siberian Railroad and main motorways from Moscow/Kazan to Siberia all cross in Perm, making Perm a main Russian transportation hub. The city is the doorway from Europe to Asia and to Siberia in particular. During Soviet times, Perm was a proper fortress because of the huge military industry in its region. All artillery and rocket vehicles, as well as (intercontinental) ballistic rocket launching systems, engines for MiG jetfighters and canons of all ranges were (and in less proportions still are) produced in Perm. The Soviets did an excellent job in hiding Perm and keeping it secret. Most people from outside the Urals simply did not know of the existence of the - at that time - 1 million citizens of Perm. Until the end of the cold war, Perm did not appear on certain Soviet-made maps, nor did the roads towards it. Nowadays, Perm is obviously accessible to all. Actually, it currently is one of Russia's fastest growing cities because of its economical prosperity. Click here for specific information for visitors: Perm sightseeing / excursions and Perm hotels . Perm - 101% Russian, yet multicultural For Russian standards, Perm is one of the most multicultural places in the whole country; it is a home of many ethnic groups who have lived together in Perm ever since its existence. While taking a walk through Perm’s huge central bazaar one can easily distinguish Russians at the many typical small kiosks, Georgians and Armenians selling their original spicy kebabs and shoarmas straight from the barbecue and Tatars operating from most of the simple but colorful jewelry stands. Furthermore, Russian orthodox churches, a mosque, a synagogue and several Catholic churches (some dating from the 17th century) all exist next to each other in Perm. The multicultural character of Perm also shows in its dining possibilities; one does never have to go far to experience the Russian, Uzbek, Georgian or Caucasian cuisine. In spite of its multicultural character, Perm is “Russian till the bone”. Wide avenues, big squares and parks, many statues, dominant Soviet architecture, countless little kiosks, huge theatres and trolley busses everywhere - all make Perm as Russian as Russian can be. Being some 1400 kilometers away from the big influential cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg, Perm is a relaxed place, where people have kept the typical Russian way of life and traditions. The Perm opera and ballet theatre After St. Petersburg and Moscow, Perm is Russia's leading city for opera and ballet theatre. Not only has the city got a wide range of stages and theatres, its educational bodies like the Russian Academy of Theatre Art and Institute for Culture and Art as well as its many international relations in theatre performances and education still give Perm the name of theatre city. One of the most famous stages is the Chaikovsky Opera and Ballet Theatre Perm. Among its repertoire are internationally known performances (for example Romeo and Juliet, Cleopatra, Aida, Cinderella, Le Nozze di Figaro) as well as Russian ones: most works of Chaikovsky have been staged here. Since 1948 the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre has been on tours throughout the whole world, performing in countries such as UK, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Hungary, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Germany and China. During its history, the theatre has received numerous (inter)national prizes. Another leading stage is the Perm Academic Drama Theatre, founded in 1927. Like the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Acamedic Drama Theatre has staged the world’s most prestigious Drama plays (for instance Ostrovsky, Shakespeare, Gorky and Tolstoy) and has it won many prizes for its work. Museums The Perm Art Gallery boasts a large collection of arts. Apart from numerous paintings of Flemish, French and Italian masters, it also has modern art collections on exhibition. The museum's collection is among the very largest ones in Russia. The museum is located in a former cathedral, now a landmark of Perm in the centre of the city. For those who are interested in the history and the culture of the Urals, the Regional Museum of Local Studies and History (founded in 1890) is definitely worth to visit. The museum boasts a wide variety of armory, coinage, pottery, handicrafts, archeology and minerals. It also tells about the Permian period, the geological era in which the Urals were formed. The partly open-air artillery museum at the northern end of the city centre displays all generations of rocket and artillery (vehicles), as constructed in Perm, as well as a wide range of information of the history of the industry. Actually, the city is known for its large war industry ever since late 1800’s. All cannons and artillery of former Soviet Union as well as engines for Tupolev and MiG aircrafts were (and in less amounts still are) manufactured in Perm. The museum offers detailed information on its wide range of warfare. The outside part of the museum can be entered free of charge at any time. This museum is a part of our city excursion . “ Khokhlovka ” (Open-air museum of and Wooden Architecture and Ethnography) is in fact a collection of original structures as they existed in the 17th century. Inside the buildings, all kinds of tools, handicrafts and clothes of that time are exposed. The guide will take you around the museum, telling about the hard life 300 years ago. You will be amazed by the beauty of the site; Khokhlovka is located on a green hill and offers great views over the Kama river and nearby villages. Architecture As for architecture, most profound buildings are situated in the city centre. The heart of the city is very unlike what one can expect from a city of over one million inhabitants. It completely lacks the usual modern glass buildings and tall skyscrapers that make up for most big cities’ centres. In fact, Perm’s centre is mostly made up by colorful, classic 3-storied mansions of Soviet architecture, making the centre breath a rather relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Among the most prominent buildings in the city are the centrally located "Young people's theatre", the Feodalyevskaya Church and the Dyagiliev Mansion. Furthermore, the Perm I train station is worth a look, as it is proper ancient (17th century). In the provincial towns surrounding Perm, such as Kungur, Solikamsk, Usolye and Osa, architectural highlights are dominated by mansions and factories which were built by the Stroganovs and Demidovs in the 17th century. In similar style, a large number of remarkable churches and cathedrals can be found throughout the Perm Province. Famous people In spite of Perm being a relatively unknown city, the city and its region brought forward many famous people. Ballet impressario Sergei Dyaghilev was born in Perm and spent early years of his life here. He became a sensation in Europe during 2 decades of his "Ballets Russes". Dyaghilev's former mansion in the centre of Perm is now a museum. Chaikovsky, one of the greatest composers ever, was born in a small town just south of Perm. Furthermore, Perm was home of Popov, the inventor of radio, and of Boris Pasternak, who wrote Dr. Zhivago here. The Stroganovs, the Demidovs and Tatishchevs in Perm make up for Russia's famous industrials. Ballet impresario Sergei Diaghilev wrote history when he produced the ballet sensation "The Rites of Spring" in Paris in the early years of the 20th century. Sports For those who are more into sports rather than theatre, Perm has many possibilities. Especially in weekends, the offer is large. Football games of Amkar (promoted to Russia’s premier league in 2003) and “Molot-Prikamiye” (see club logo on the right) ice hockey matches take place frequently. Click here for all matches of Perm sports teams. Shopping Shopping in Perm is an experience on its own. Like most other cities in Russia, Perm has not got obvious Western-style shopping streets, although the central “Komsomolsky Prospekt” is steadily developing into one. New and modern stores are appearing in and around this proper avenue at a fast rate, among which mostly fashion, jewelry and dining places. For daily needs, the huge central bazaar is the most popular place. For any tourist, a visit to this site of countless little stands, shops and kiosks simply cannot be missed. The whole city comes together here, making the bazaar probably the most vivid place in Perm. Fruits, vegetables, clothes, cleaning products, tools, audio, sunglasses, kebabs, carpets, almost ANYthing can be purchased here, and usually for very little money too. The large building in the centre of the bazaar is the place where all kinds of meat and milk products are sold. For those looking for cheap clothing, the Chinese-Vietnamese market is the place to go. Decent but cheap is the main subject among the mainly Chinese trade-people at the market. Furthermore, several smaller markets (“rinki”) can be found all over the city, mainly at the crossings of major streets. A number of shopping malls serve those who like to have everything in one building. The biggest one is “Univermag” on the corner of Lenina and Komsomolsky Prospekt. Just across the road are many bakeries, cafés and kebab stands for a short break and a quick snack. Public Transport Perm has an extensive public transport system, operated by busses, taxi busses, trolley busses and trams. They take you to wherever you want to go in the city, even to far outskirts. The standard fare for any means of public transport is 13 rubles, to be paid to the conductor on entrance. Taxi busses start around 6:30 am and stop at 21 pm. All the other transport starts at 5:30 am and goes until 0:30 am. Taxis, naturally, drive 24 hours. If you do not know the city well, it might be difficult for you to find your way through the complicated public transport network. The best thing you can do is to ask the hotel receptionists or your host family which bus or tram number you need. Just remember the name of the stop you departed from, so it will be easy for people to give you directions back, just in case you are not sure which one to take. It is also possible to buy a city transport map at any paper/magazine kiosk, they cost around 2 euro. Events in Perm Events in form of sports and theatre take place nearly every day, one shall not get bored! Most interesting performances of ballet, drama and opera are staged at the Drama Theatre, which is located on Lenina Street, at the central square. The Perm Academic Theatre offers all kinds of famous plays, both Russian and international, and has a full events calendar every day of the month. Matches of Molot Prikamye (ice hockey) take place at the Molot Stadium, which is loacated in the eastern part of Perm. Amkar plays Russian premier league football in stadium "Zvezda", which is in the city centre. Celebrations throughout the city often take place on Russian national holidays: December 31st, New Year January 7th, Orthodox Christmas February 23rd, Day of Defender of Motherland (fireworks) March 8th, Women's Day May 1st, Spring and Labour Day May 9th, Victory Day (military parades in city centre) June 12th, Independence Day and birthday Perm city! (huge fireworks at midnight) November 4th, National Accord Day Furthermore, several occasional as well as annual music, theatre, folklore and anniversary festivals take place in Perm and its region. There is always something to celebrate in Perm! Perm city map A map of Perm city centre, as well as a province map, you'll find on a seperate page. Click here for Perm city map . Perm Weather & Climate Russia is renowned for its long and cold winters. In case of Perm in particular, this is only partly true. Perm has a temperate continental climate: winters are by far not as harsh (average day temperature in January is -15C) when compared to the more eastern parts of the country. Summers are usually very sunny and warm, averagely +25C in July- and August day times. During those months, many citizens can be found sunbathing on the Kama beaches. Current weather:   -->

Professional

Very Correct and Professionalcompany. I had a booking of hotel then I cancelled. They refund me back the full amount wit the reasonable time. I will use Anex service next time. Thank you very much Anex !

Date of experience : 12 July 2023

Never ever book again with Anex tours

Customer service is unreachable Average waiting time 1 hour When you eventually have someone on the phone they give you a wrong answer or say they can't help. After a few calls I ended up with someone that did help me ( total call time 3,5 hours from Holland to Germany). Send numerous emails: NO reply Send Facebook message: NO reply Their representative in Hurgada knows absolutely nothing . Waist of energy and time to talk to this man. Sorry I never book with this company again They book the trip , send the papers and that's it. Don't expect any service at all

Date of experience : 07 May 2022

Roma communities in Perm Krai: historical and ethnical aspects

Profile image of Dmitrii Vaiman

Two large groups of Roma are settled in the territory of Perm Krai, the Ruska Roma and Kalderari. Roma live both in cities and countryside. Roma living in the countryside keeps elements of traditional culture. In Perm Krai we can find different families of the Ruska [Russian] Roma: Gorbovichi, Nemzengery, Bashnengery, Polyaki, Sapuny, Gubany. In contrast to the Kalderari the community of Ruska Roma is based not only on family-territorial principle. Sometimes community is based on ethnic-territorial ground when the Ruska Roma living in an urban area despite family ties can be a part of the community. Traditional activity of Ruska Roma living in countryside is a seasonal grazing of livestock. One of the main sectors of activity is trading. Roma sell cars and jewelry. Kelderari live in compact groupings in Perm. They call themselves Moldavska Roma and consider themselves to be part of Ruvoni [wolf in Romani language] family. Traditional activity of Kelderari is metal work (especially tin-smith’s work) which impact also their modern business. The main work activity of men till now is working with metals such as base metal trading and metal items repair. Traditional women activity is fortune-telling. Bilingualism, traditional way of living, ethnic isolation, unique and particular material and spiritual culture are common for all of Roma. The main problems for Roma nowadays are safeguarding of ethnicity and as well as some educational and social issues.

  23. Roma communities in Perm Krai: historical and ethnical aspects

A new research stage of the Rozhdestvensk archaeological complex, the largest medieval complex in Perm Krai, began in 2008. During the study, new data on the structure and typology of fortifications of the Rozhdestvensk settlement were obtained: along the eastern boundary of the site at the edge of a ravine an ancient filled up moat and a later constructed palisade were discovered.
