NEW Star Tours Merchandise Celebrates the Adventures Continuing!

Today’s the day that fans have been counting down towards…a series of brand NEW scenes have finally debuted in Star Tours!

As they say, the Adventures really have Continued!

You can bet our MickeyBloggers were one of the first in line to ride the attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios this morning, and you can check out our full coverage of the new ride additions in our post here .

However, right now what we’re doing is taking a moment to celebrate the occasion in a different way…via all this new commemorative merchandise that has landed in the park!

Because, as we all know, it’s the merch that really makes an occasion at Disney!

There are quite a number of new items to be found by the ride today, so let’s go and check it out together!

Star Tours Hat

We’ll start off the collection by admiring this cool new cap. It’s black in color, yet features that iconic “Star Tours: The Adventures Continue” logo embroidered on the front in a bold, contrasting blue.

Down the side of the hat, we can see “StarSpeeder 1000” embroidered too — giving reference to the ship guests ride when they fly with Star Tours. How cool?

This costs $29.99.

Star Tours T-Shirt

Obviously, there’s going to be a couple of new shirts in the collection too! We’ll start with this one, which is a classic, cream-colored crew neck, in a cropped style.

On the front, the Star Tours emblem has been embroidered over the chest in a cool, eye-catching orange shade. 

However, once you flip the shirt over, you’ll see even more of a whacky design on the back!

Here we’ve got C-3PO and R2-D2 stood by the Star Tours logo, with the Walt Disney World logo also printed beneath. A StarSpeeder soars in the distance and stars glitter all across the top!

You’ll notice that none of the new Star Tours merchandise items released today incorporate any of the new characters seen in the attraction’s update, such as from Ahsoka , The Mandalorian, and more. 

Instead, the collection is reflective of the “classic” Star Tours experience, full of nostalgia and spirit!

The next tee we found is this slate gray in color, and features a bold graphic emblazoned across the front.

In the graphic, we can see all kinds of Star Wars ships, including the Death Star, some TIE Fighters, and, of course, a StarSpeeder 1000.

The next item might be the coolest in the collection!

It’s a hoodie, designed to look just like a Star Tours flight suit!

Eye-catching in blue, orange, and black, this fun jacket features the “Star Tours: The Adventures Continue” logo and the Walt Disney World emblem printed across the back.

Star Tours StarSpeeder 1000 Model

The last new item we have to show you today isn’t apparel, but instead this cute, die-cast model. 

Despite the packaging labeling it a “car,” this red ship is instantly recognizable as a StarSpeeder 1000, and would make a great keepsake addition to any Star Wars -inspired model collection!

It cost $9.99.

We found all of these items inside Tatooine Traders at Disney’s Hollywood Studios – the store adjoining the Star Tours attraction.

New Star Tours Merchandise Debuts At Disney’s Hollywood Studios

After much anticipation, new scenes based on Star Wars: Ahsoka, Andor, and The Mandalorian have been added to the popular Star Tours attraction at Walt Disney World. While the scenes have been added to both Disneyland Park and Disneyland Paris as well, it’s at the Disney’s Hollywood Studios location at Walt Disney World that we were treated to a special look at new merchandise coming to the location.

According to Cody Hampton, a Senior Brand Manager, Merchandising, Disney Consumer Products, at Walt Disney World, the new merchandise is now available or coming in May and June to the Star Tours location at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The merch ranges from models and toys to apparel and caps. One item that is sure to be flying at light speed off the shelves will be a new hoodie, inspired by the Cast Member Costumes at the popular attraction.

Another piece of apparel that is sure to please many fans of the attraction, will be a new t-shirt featuring C-3PO and R2-D2 that has a vintage look. Though it has the vintage look, it still is indicative of the new(ish) Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, and not the original Star Tours. This is notated by the Starspeeder 1000 flying on the print and the attraction title. The resort specific branding at the bottom of the shirt does retain a vintage Walt Disney World logo. Presumably, this will also appear on the west coast, with Disneyland branding in that same spot on the shirt.

For more updated fun, a new shirt also sports the Starspeeder 1000 in a poster-style print that features many of the visuals one might see on the attraction – namely from the original trilogy of Star Wars films. This includes TIE fighters, Boba Fett’s ship, the Death Star, and Darth Vader ominously embedded behind the striking visuals.

Fans can also get their hands on a more traditional baseball cap with curved bill that sports the Star Tours logo, with “The Adventures Continue” embroidered beneath.

Ride vehicle aficionados, as well as those who love all the ships in the Star Wars galaxy, will also be sure to love two display pieces of the Starspeeder 1000, the ship featured in the popular attraction.

Hans is a gem. His store is stocked with practically anything a pilot or passenger could need, and he goes out of his way to be helpful.

Hans is AMAZING, and this shop is so convenient. Hans also offers a car service and car rentals. My friends hire him to take them to wine tasting in Napa, and they have so much fun.

Hans is awesome. He has everything you could possibly need under the sun...packed neatly into 500 ft.² There isn't another comparable Airport Shop within 200 nautical miles. I don't buy things from Amazon. I buy things from real people. Buy it from Hans. Hans down, the best!

Hans is a very nice person. He will help you with pretty much every you need not just aviation but car rentals wine tours and shuttle. Forget online this will surprise you of how the business is it is more than 5 stars

This is a hidden gem. I discover this place by accident. My wife and I went to the "Sky cafe" (next door) for Sunday brunch. It took me few days to get ready to purchase something here (they have so many aviation gadgets and shirts, jackets ETC & prices are very fair)! But today I'm heading back to this store to put some serious purchases on my CC.

This local institution has a new owner with a new vision. The cozy shop has gone thru a shocking transformation with lots of new merchandise, much aimed at pilots and aircraft owners but still plenty of new items for the non-pilots to browse too.

This is by far the best small business of any kind in the area. A neat but small place, it is crammed full of anything a pilot or flying buff could need or dream of, all at very reasonable prices. Hans, the owner, is personable and knowledgeable. He goes out of his way to be helpful and friendly. The is absolutely the best place to buy necessities like aviation charts and engine oil there, as well as aviation-themed toys and presents for friends. I have been in many similar shops at airports throughout the West, but this one is unique. Now Hans also runs a taxi service out of here and his reputation is spreading far and wide. A friend who comes into town on a fairly regular basis told me she always uses his service when she lands and needs to get to Stanford or anywhere. He makes friends easily and remembers her all the time.

Excellent variety of aviation products at a reasonable price. Excellent customer service. It is the place where you can get Wash wax all. This is an authorized retailer.

Definitely a hidden gem inside the San Carlos Airport! Hans, the store owner, is very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable! If he knows you're a student pilot, he'll even give you some very useful tips. His store has a wide variety of everything aviation and the items are reasonably priced!

The best pilot shop! Hans, the owner, is knowledgeable, and super friendly. Once, when I needed a handheld radio to listen to an arriving flight (my airplane being delivered from Southern California!), he loaned me a brand new ICOM handheld. When my airplane was damaged in a runway excursion, and I had the painful task of meeting with the insurance adjuster, Hans saw me sitting in the terminal lobby and brought me a bottle of water and gave me a hug. That meant so much to me. Just yesterday, I needed a small quantity of hydraulic fluid, for a machine at work, but I did not want to purchase a five-gallon container of it. He sells 8 ounce and 1-quart containers, and let me take the merchandise without paying for it. He told me to "Bring back what you don't need, and pay me for what you do need". How many small business owners do that? San Carlos Aviation & Pilot Supply is a vital part of our local aviation community at San Carlos Airport., and having Hans as a friend is an added bonus.

Taylor Swift fan starts queuing 48 hours before star arrives for gig

A Taylor Swift fan started queuing for the star 48 hours before she arrived in Edinburgh to start her sell-out UK leg of her record-breaking Eras tour.

Ellie Poulter, 19, is among the 220,000 fans excitedly awaiting the megastar's sold-out performance to play at Murrayfield Stadium this weekend.

Tickets are still available on resale websites, but they have been spotted going for the eye-watering sum of nearly £5,000 as fans desperately try to go last minute. 

Drone photos taken on Thursday showed workers setting up for the three-hour concert - where the American superstar, 34, will perform over 40 songs. 

To make sure she gets the best spot for the concert, Ms Poulter was the first person to start queuing for the gig.

She said: 'I think I'm the first person to start camping - there's just nobody here. 

'I thought people were going to camp because people were queuing for the Paris shows for two nights.

'So I thought I was going to be camping for like a week before, but nobody else has ended up doing that so I thought two days would be fine to camp for that long.

'I've got a tent and I've took a duvet and that's it apart from my clothes - I have nothing and I didn't come prepared at all.

'I've got a hotel for the night of the show, so I'll basically chuck everything in there and get ready, so I've got nothing on me.'

Ms Poulter is one of almost 73,000 fans who will fill the Scottish Rugby home ground each night.

She has only ever seen Taylor perform when she came out as a special guest at The 1975's gig last year.

She says she thinks she will be 'a mess' when the singer starts performing on stage on Saturday and that she can't wait to hear the singer's 2017 Reputation album live.

Ellie, of Oxford, said: 'I'm so excited - I've been waiting a year for this.

'I'm excited for the surprise songs but I'm more excited for reputation because that's my favourite album.

'I saw her when she came out with The 1975 and we got to hear Anti Hero for the first time ever.

'I had a panic attack when she came out, I fell to the floor and was hyperventilating - I couldn't breathe and I was very excited and I was crying a lot.

'I'll be a mess - I was crying when I watched the movie at the cinema so I'll probably have a panic attack when she comes out.'

But Ms Poulter is not the only Scot to have a case of 'Swiftmania' as the Scottish capital has been gripped by the condition with huge signs in shop windows welcoming fans to the city.

Shops have been selling 'in my Swiftie era' t-shirts and the arena has even re-branded it's Scottish Gas sponsorship to 'Scottish Lass'.

Even the capital's trams have been covered in adverts for the star's latest album and hotel rooms have become hard to find. 

Some hoteliers are charging a staggering £1,600 a night amid the shortage of rooms in the city.

The scale of Swift's UK tour – which is also set to go to Liverpool, Cardiff and London – is said to be worth a boost to the UK economy of nearly £1billion.

A lot of that money will find itself in Edinburgh, with each fan predicted to splash out £848 on tickets, travel, accommodation, outfits and other expenses.

One fan even flew in from Texas with his wife to see the star before he goes blind.

Jared Dey, was diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy in both eyes in 2020 and was told he would be blind in 6 months after two surgeries failed. 

He has already gone blind in one eye, and is losing vision in his second, but said he wants to see Taylor Swift perform with his wife Karina while he still has his sight.

Seeing the artist is one of the items on his 'visual bucket list' which included watching his wife walk down the aisle.

He said: 'I want to see Taylor for for myself, and for my wife, she has been a huge part of helping me cross everything on my list.

'One of the things that I've kind of realized in this whole journey is making memories for myself is also making memories for other people, and my wife is a huge fan. 

'Unfortunately, we were not being able to kind of see her in the States due to the price of the tickets. I wanted to make this memory for her more than anything else. So that's that's kind of where it all came from.

'Taylor's pretty much all she listens to all day long. So it's it's definitely one of those things where I know she's gonna have a great time.' 

The couple were originally coming to Scotland for a wedding that was planned way before the concert was announced, and decided to get the tickets when the date was revealed as not far from the end of their trip.

They paid £500 each for their tickets, which would be less than one ticket for the cheapest ticket in the States.

The surge in interest for tickets has caused anti-fraud organisations to issue a warning to fans that some offers to buy tickets online, especially on social media, could be scams. 

But some fans are so keen to see the superstar they don't seem to care how much money tickets cost. 

Sophie Snow is among the most committed fans, with tickets to all three nights, and has meticulously planned what she is wearing to each show. 

The 29-year-old said: 'I think it's going to welcome a lot of people to Edinburgh for the first time as a lot of international fans are coming.

'I feel like these events aren't as common in Scotland so it would be nice to bring a lot of people in because hopefully they will come back.'

As Ms Swift prepared to jet to the Scottish capital, Loch Tay was renamed Loch Tay Tay after the world's biggest pop star's nickname.

First Minister John Swinney even encouraged her to visit the popular loch.

Mr Swinney, who represents the area, said: 'I really hope she has the chance to go and see Loch Tay – or should I say Loch Tay Tay – which is the most beautiful part of Scotland.

'She'll get a really warm welcome here and I know all of the Swifties will be so exhilarated by her presence in Scotland.'

Meanwhile, hundreds flocked to Murrayfield to buy T-shirts, hoodies and other merchandise in support of the US pop sensation.

Some began queuing from the early hours of the morning, and even took time off work to make sure they could join the queue.

Amid the excitement, Murrayfield Stadium had its Scottish Gas sponsorship rebranded to 'Scottish Lass'.

One Edinburgh mum, who runs a TikTok account named Unorganised Mummy, documented her trip to the merch stand. In the clip she said: 'Taylor Swift is playing Murrayfield this weekend, and you can buy merch on Wednesday and Thursday.

'So I thought why not? Yes, the queue looks a bit intimidating but it really isn't that bad.

'Heads up, there's only one lift. We queued up about 9.50am and everyone was happy. At 10am on the dot the queue moved really quickly.

'Staff were coming round checking we were alright. You don't need tickets to buy the merch if you're there before 1pm.

'I do have one gripe, there is no prices outside of the tents so you have to wait till you're up there.'

Bethan Hodges is going to the first gig tomorrow and revealed she was so excited to see Ms Swift, whose fans swap friendship bracelets, she has wept.

The 35-year-old said: 'It's my first time seeing her and I've been so excited that sometimes I cry about it. I'm excited for everything – the thought of trading bracelets makes me a bit nervous but I know everyone going will be lovely because Taylor's fans are nice to each other.

'I just can't wait to see it in real life and hear the surprise songs.

'I watch all the live streams of when she does other shows to hear the surprise songs and I'm just hoping she's going to do one of my favourites.'

Eleanor Osada, 27, will be seeing Ms Swift twice this weekend and said: 'It's pretty much all on my mind at the moment. It genuinely feels like the run-up to Christmas.

'The double whammy of having Paramore supporting the tour is the most mind-bending thing for me, as they're my number one band forever.

'As for the show itself, I can't wait to experience the theatre of it all, and hear songs I haven't had chance to hear yet – from Reputation onwards, for me.

'It'll be like an all-night singalong, and I'll probably sing myself hoarse.'

There are some concerns the gigs could run into some issues, after the American singer has come under increasing pressure to break her silence on the Israel-Hamas war, with pro-Palestine concertgoers taking flags and placards to gigs in Madrid and Lisbon.

Meanwhile Portugal shows last week descended into chaos as furious fans tore down a fence after waiting for hours in the blistering heat to enter the Estádio da Luz stadium.

The arrival of hundreds of thousands of Swift obsessives has come with a plea from the City of Edinburgh Council.

Val Walker, head of the culture and communities committee, said: 'Whilst we relish hosting the biggest and best events and want everyone attending to truly enjoy themselves, it's important that we're conscious of our residents.

'We ask that visitors are considerate whilst enjoying our fantastic capital city.'

Meanwhile Nationwide Building Society has warned Swifties looking for tickets to be aware of scams.

Research by the company revealed that the chance to see Taylor Swift is the most likely event to have been affected by fake tickets (20%) closely followed by football fans seeking tickets for the Euros (18%), the Wimbledon tennis championship (15%) and the Olympics and Paralympics (15%). 

Last year alone, more than 8,700 people reported they had been a victim ticket fraud, with a total of £6.7 million lost. This works out to an average loss of £772 per victim.

It seems extra caution should be taken when purchasing tickets through social media with 28% of scams taking place here - of which 60% occur on Facebook (with 80% of respondents aged 35-44 saying they've bought fake tickets via Facebook), ahead of Instagram (45%), Tik Tok (33%) and X/Twitter (17%).

But the tour has caused controversy with some Scots after it was revealed this week that charity bosses have raised fears that rough sleepers in the Scottish capital are being offered temporary accommodation up to 100 miles away to make way for fans flocking to the city.

Amid the pressure for rooms, Shelter Scotland said a number of the people it supports have been sent by taxi to Aberdeen and Glasgow. One was offered a place in Newcastle upon Tyne. 

The housing charity has said it is 'a blatant injustice' for homeless people to be 'in direct competition' with tourists.

There is no evidence of homeless people being removed from accommodation where they are already staying.

Keanu Reeves and Dogstar: How to see their Summer Vacation Tour 2024 in metro Phoenix

If you happen to see Keanu Reeves inside a local Circle K in late September, you should know it’s not because the Bill & Ted franchise is at it again.

Reeves will be in metro Phoenix for his role as the bassist for Dogstar, the alternative-rock band he launched in the 90s with “Quattro Formaggi,” a wonderfully titled four-song EP that hit the streets in 1996.

By that point, Reeves was famous for his starring role in "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure," a science-fiction comedy primarily shot in metro Phoenix.

Last seen rocking Crescent Ballroom last summer, Dogstar will return to Arizona for a gig at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Hotel & Casino on the Ak-Chin Indian Community south of Phoenix on Saturday, Sept. 21.

The Phoenix area is the final stop on the Summer Vacation Tour in support of their album "Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees.”

This guided tour of Star City will allow you to get acquainted with the unique objects of the world-famous Cosmonaut Training Centre. Your experienced guide will introduce you to space technology and tell about how Russian cosmonauts prepare for flights, about work and life on the orbit.

You will learn how astronauts are selected, for how long and where the training takes place. Your guide will tell you some interesting facts from the history of space exploration, and together you will visit the gym of spaceships "Soyuz", where international crews are preparing for the flight and then going into space. You will learn about the history of creation and construction of spacecrafts, as well as the main stages of orbital flight. On this tour you will learn how real spacesuits are arranged, get acquainted with samples of space food.

You can touch the living history in the hall of the orbital station "MIR". Star City presents a huge full-size working model of this station, which from 1986 to 2001 was visited by more than a hundred astronauts from 12 countries. The present space program is an active simulator of the Russian segment of the International Space Station. And it's not just an exhibit - it's a working "understudy" of the station, fully corresponding to its celestial " twin ", where future crews are constantly trained.

For everyone who is interested in astronautics, the excursion to Star City will be an unforgettable and very informative adventure!

Recently, we announced that  Tiana’s Bayou Adventure  will  open at Magic Kingdom Park in Florida on June 28 , and now it’s time to talk all a- bayou -t the new merchandise you can bring home.

The merchandise journey began with Walt Disney Imagineering in 2021, when a team of Imagineers weaved together the story of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure with breathtaking concept art and inspiration from immersion trips to New Orleans. Through connecting with the people, culture, food, and of course, music of New Orleans, the team was able to guide the merchandise creative designers to develop authentic products that bring the story of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to life for all guests.

You’ve probably heard the phrase “shop until you drop,” but for this ride and its iconic 50-foot plummet, you’re going to want to shop before  and  after you drop. From clothes to home goods, tasty treats and more, there’s something for everyone.

Taylor Swift Era’s tour multi-million pound boost to UK economy – and why the West Midlands is missing out

Taylor Swift's billion-dollar blockbuster Eras tour arrives in the UK today, amid a frenzy of fan excitement – and a huge amount of spending.

British and Irish fans have waited more than a year for the show to arrive, since she kicked off her marathon string of dates in Glendale, Arizona in March 2023.

Since then Taylor Swift has crossed the US, Asia and South America and made stops across Europe, often accompanied by her boyfriend, the NFL star Travis Kelce.

Sadly, there is no stop off in the West Midlands. Instead, she steps out onto the stage at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh tonight, ahead of shows in Liverpool, Cardiff, London and Dublin. She will then return to London in August.

The Eras tour , which takes fans on a journey through the different musical stages of her career, has been a juggernaut.

And the West Midlands is missing out financially from not having a show of its own. Swift's UK tour is predicted to provide a £997 million boost to the country's economy. Almost 1.2 million fans will spend an average of £848 on tickets, travel, accommodation, outfits and other costs to see the pop superstar at one of the 15 UK tour dates – more than 12 times the average cost of a night out, according to the Barclays Swiftonomics report.

Eras tour tickets sparked a 15.8 per cent year-on-year increase in UK spending on entertainment when they were released last July.

The average amount spent on an Eras tour ticket is £206, although 14 per cent of fans, including those who bought VIP ticket packages with premium seating and exclusive merchandise, spent more than £400.

It has already grossed more than a billion dollars, the biggest haul for any act ever and has bagged a Guinness World Record.

Cities keen to cash in on the tour will roll out the red carpet for her arrival, with special artworks being installed in Liverpool in celebration of her shows. Dubbed the Taylor Town Trail, it will feature 11 art installations which are inspired by the studio albums from her back catalogue, including a huge butterfly installation, a regal throne and themed murals.

Capital Radio has also launched a pop-up station dedicated to all things Taylor Swift ahead of the start of the tour.

Capital (Taylor's Version) will play hits from across her 11 studio albums, as well as offering trivia on the artist.

The station will also provide updates on Swift as she tours across the UK and will speak to fans before and after the shows to hear all the details of the experience.

Capital has said it is the first time in the UK that a national DAB radio station has been dedicated to a single artist.

The appetite for the tour has not been dimmed by the fact it is currently available to view on streaming service Disney+.

It was during the six-night run at the So-Fi Stadium in Los Angeles that the show was captured on camera by director Sam Wrench to make a concert film.

Swift flexed her considerable negotiating muscles by bypassing the traditional Hollywood studios and releasing the film directly to cinemas.

It is now available to stream for free for anyone with a Disney+ subscription.

However, UK and Irish fans will be treated to a significantly different show, after Swift overhauled her setlist, staging and costumes following the release of her latest album The Tortured Poets Department.

She has cut songs from the previous set list, including fan favourite Long Live, and added a string of tracks from the new record, including But Daddy I Love Him, Down Bad, Fortnight, The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived and I Can Do It With A Broken Heart, which are widely interpreted to be about her rumoured romance with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy.

The level of frenzy over the tour has prompted a major bank to issue a warning over the risk of scams.

Lloyds Bank estimates more than £1 million could already have been lost in the UK to fraudsters pretending to offer tickets to Swift's concerts and says more than 600 Lloyds Banking Group customers have already come forward to report being scammed.

The average amount lost by each victim was £332, though in some cases the loss was more than £1,000, Lloyds said.

Swift's show in Edinburgh on Friday will feature support from US rock band Paramore and is due to kick of at 7.15pm.

Exclusive: Biden tells ABC's David Muir US weapons will not be used to strike Moscow, Kremlin

President Biden is in Normandy commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

President Joe Biden was adamant that U.S. weapons would not be used to strike Moscow or the Kremlin after he authorized Ukraine to use them in Russia during an exclusive interview with ABC News anchor David Muir at the Normandy American Cemetery on the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

Muir asked Biden if U.S.-made weapons have already been used in Russia since he signed off on their use, limiting use to areas near the Russian-occupied Kharkiv region. The president did not directly answer, but made clear they would not be authorized to be used to target Russia's capital city or seat of government.

"They're authorized to be used in proximity to the border when they're being used on the other side of the border to attack specific targets in Ukraine," Biden told Muir of U.S. weapons. "We're not authorizing strikes 200 miles into Russia and we're not authorizing strikes on Moscow, on the Kremlin."

Muir asked the president about Vladimir Putin's comments overnight, that "the supply of high-precision weapons to Ukraine for strikes on Russian territory is direct participation in this war."

"Does that concern you?" Muir asked Biden.

"I've known him for over 40 years. He's concerned me for 40 years. He's not a decent man," Biden said. "He's a dictator, and he's struggling to make sure he holds his country together while still keeping this assault going. We're not talking about giving them weapons to strike Moscow, to strike the Kremlin, to strike against -- just across the border, where they're receiving significant fire from conventional weapons used by the Russians to go into Ukraine to kill Ukrainians."

Biden is in France to commemorate the day Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy in 1944, setting off a chain of events that led to the fall of Nazi Germany and the end of World War II.
