International star  Danna Paola  has announced her first U.S. tour –  XT4S1S Tour U.S.A  –   where she is set to showcase her unique music, a mix of pop ballad and electronic, among other genres and fusions. Produced by Live Nation, the 10-city trek kicks off on Friday, August 11 at San Jose, Civic in San Jose making stops across the U.S. in Los Angeles, Miami, New York and more before wrapping up in El Cajon at The Magnolia on Saturday, September 16.

Following more than 20 successful shows in Mexico, fans in the U.S. will have the chance to sing along and dance to their favorite songs, including hits like “XT4S1S”, “1Trago”, “Sodio”, “Mala Fama,” and “A Un Beso.” Danna Paola, who has been working in the music industry for more than two decades, is ready to conquer stages across the United States with the dynamism and emotion of XT4S1S Tour, which is named after her hit song from 2022.

In April, she released her newest hit “1Trago” which gained the most plays on its first day for a song by a Mexican female solo artist in Spotify history. Additionally, she made her debut appearance at the prestigious Latin American Music Awards, where she electrified the audience with her performance of her smash hit, “XT4S1S.”

As the lights began to dim, the arena burst into a roar as the multi-talented performer took on the stage. With a large raised-sloped platform filling up the stage, Danna Paola took mid-center stage starting the night with a fan favorite, Mia . Taking full advantage of the sloped platform, the performer kept moving up and down the platform. Appearing as if she was plucked out of the matrix universe with her long black trench coat, Danna commanded the stage with such ease as she belted out notes.

Keeping the excitement going, dancers took on the stage as Danna proceeded to perform songs like Valientes and Mala Fama . The first three songs were just foreshadowing the non-stop action that was yet to come as fans constantly danced the night away.

Taking the moment to thank the fans, Danna informed them how grateful she was to perform in Cancun and hoped that everyone had an amazing night despite seeing how hot it’s been. As fans found the perfect moment to show their love to the singer, the venue filled with vocals as fans sang Happy birthday. With her birthday quickly approaching, fans threw several plush dolls to the stage as they sang causing the singer to burst into tears as she constantly thanked them for all the love.

The night progressed, and the action never stopped. It was as if the crowd was constantly feeding energy to Danna. From the amazing choreography to hitting impressive notes, there’s no doubt that Danna was made for the stage.

The performer has never been shy to talk about the importance of mental health. Midway into the show as she performed her powerful ballads, Amor Ordinario and Dos Extranos , the singer discussed the value of protecting yourself from horrible relationships, and how one really needs to take care of their mental health. She went on to say that therapy has really helped her throughout the years and that everyone should always be open to it. With such a sincere moment from the heart, fans were seen tearing up as they shouted in agreement with the singer.

Danna Paola has made her mark as a Popstar in Mexico and is aiming for a larger territory as she gets ready to embark on her first U.S. tour later this summer. Despite being only 28, Mexican singer-songwriter Danna Paola has already lived a complete life of an entertainer with a 20-plus-year career.

On “Childstar,” the Mexican singer and actor’s new LP, Danna — who recently announced she’s dropping her last name — is reclaiming the narrative of her youth when she first earned her stripes as a child star in telenovelas that constantly played on television both stateside and across Latin America. “Childstar” is Danna’s most layered project to date. House and electronic music replace the bubblegum pop Danna served fans in her early discography, and the change is drastic. Danna knows this.

Thematically, the record is all about escapism — the partying, the sex and the thrills of chasing romance. It represents the beginning of a new artistic era that puts Danna’s past as a “Childstar” to rest.

“Somehow, hitting my darkest, lowest point — when I was so depressed — made me want to share that with the world,” she stops herself, almost acknowledging how contradictory that sounds. “This record isn’t my life story, necessarily. It’s a sign that for me, I’m moving on. It represents where I’ve been able to get to by putting myself first.”

“Childstar” has Danna singing in English and Spanish, since she “speaks and thinks in Spanglish,” but that overarching duality of pop culture is also represented in the music influences; For example, track two, “Blackout,” is a tribute to Britney Spears’ 2007 album of the same name. That record was released in a tumultuous era of Spears’ life as she battled public scrutiny to a debilitating degree. In that same lane, she cites Spears’ “Lucky” (“She’s so lucky, she’s a star / But she cry, cry, cries in her lonely heart”) and the ending of Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis” as overall thematic touchstones for the concept of “Childstar.”

These, “remind me of my childhood in the sense that people stop viewing you as a person,” she says. “I was very alone throughout my early years in the industry. I had my family, and they supported me… but I was alone. I felt like I was at the height of my career and I just wanted it all to end.” And as the tracklist of “Childstar” unfolds, it’s clear this isn’t a sob story. “These songs are what made me,” Danna says. “You hear me discovering my sexier side, you also hear me grappling with love, my encounters.”

For the people who knew Danna in the earlier points of her career, it may be shocking to hear her be so forward in “Atari,” where she whines and growls about sex. She also sings over breezy R&B about the first time she fell for a woman in “Platonik.”

And although she’s admittedly “nervous as fuck” about how her fans will react to the experimentation and honesty — and sonic range — on this album, they have already more than shown up for her. Danna has one of the most fervent followings of Latin American superstars. When she announced that she wanted to update her social media handles to just “@Danna” — a move solidifying she’s put the past behind her — her fans bombarded the current owner of the account with requests to give up the account. Danna had to issue a public apology.

“I know they’re ready to receive — I’ve had them waiting for so long — whatever I may throw their way but this album is totally new territory for me,” she says, followed by a long pause. “If you’d like to join me, please do. And if you don’t, there’s a lot of music out in the world, I hope you find something you enjoy.”

Danna Paola has been in the entertainment business since she was five years old, yet when she sits down with Rolling Stone one afternoon this fall, she’s experiencing one of the most epic peaks in her 20-year-career. Her song “XT4S1S,” which she released in August after a nearly year-long break from music, has been climbing up the charts an racking up million of views. The vibrant track is a rush of Latin pop-rock with an electronic edge, and it marks a new chapter for her — one where she’s doing exactly what she wants.

“It opened up a new panorama for me where there are no rules,” Paola tells Rolling Stone. “I believe today my drive as an artist, and my drive to continue to create music, is to experiment, and to make music that connects with my five senses.”

But after such success, Paola kept asking herself a few central questions: “How do I keep growing? What do I talk about next?” To figure things out, she took a break from music for several months until she was absolutely sure what she wanted to say. “I was looking for this feeling of love and excitement for music,” she says. “I’ve been doing this for so long that it’s hard to keep reinventing yourself and pushing, and it’s a personal effort you have to make to lift yourself up and keep fighting for your dreams.” Then, in January, when she was hanging out at home, the inspiration for “XTASIS” struck, reigniting her with new passion. Now, she can’t wait for the future.

What can you say about your upcoming album that will feature “XT4S1S”? What can your fans expect? Just for them to expect the unexpected. I’m still working on the album. It’s super electronic pop. I’m playing with house music, techno, R&B, funk, and bringing those mixes of experimental pop into Spanish. It’s an album that we’re working on with a lot of love. I’m in this rebel moment where I’m not going to follow the rules. It’s refreshing to reinvent myself, to be reborn, and I’m more sure about what I want to do than ever before. It’s going to make you dance, cry, and perrear , of course. But above all, I needed to make this return to Latin pop and share this new wave of sounds that we need in the industry.

Kim Petras ‘Serves' As the New Face of MAC's Viva Glam Campaign: Where to Shop the Collection

Kim Petras rarely shies away from showing off a bold lipstick - and it hasn't gone unnoticed. She debuted a mix of '90s-inspired costumes and dark red lips during her Feed the Beast World Tour , which wrapped up in March, and now, MAC Cosmetics has chosen the 31-year-old along with Latin singer Danna Paola to be the faces of the brand's Viva Glam Lipstick 30th anniversary campaign.

Viva Glam lipstick has developed a reputation for not only its long-lasting formula, but its life-changing impact. Each year, the beauty brand gives 100% of its proceeds back to the community to help those in need, with this year's profits going to support AIDs research in addition to local organizations for gender, racial and environmental equality.

The updated formula looks to leave behind a silky matte texture that will last up to 12 hours while also providing a max of eight hours of moisture. The lipsticks have gathered a 4.9 rating on Ulta, with shoppers raving over its "creamy" application as well as its ability to blend with other products. One reviewer says they can "top it with other shades and lip gloss," making it a versatile lip product.

Petras has been a longtime fan of the beauty brand, having showed off a red shade when she won her 2023 Grammy alongside Sam Smith. Being a part of the campaign has been an exciting yet surreal experience for the "Unholy" singer, who still finds it hard to believe she's the face of MAC.
