In a long pebble bay near Novalja, nestles Campsite Straško, a campsite which abounds in a multitude of facilities for an active holiday. At Campsite Straško, it is possible to fully enjoy a true return to nature – the campsite is turned into a 4* family resort.

PITCHES AND MOBILE HOMES

In the shade of the Dalmatian oak you will find spacious pitches , which gently descend towards the sea. Thanks to the campsite position, the majority of pitches are situated by the sea shore. All the pitches, 900 of them, have connections to electricity, water and drainage, as well as SAT TV connection. Disposing with 13 sanitary points , Campsite Straško will meet the needs of all the guests – the youngest ones and those four legged ones alike! Appointed in the Mediterranean style, the sanitary points are arranged throughout the whole campsite – in the vicinity of all pitches as well as on non-parcelled camping spaces. Children's sanitary fittings, baby changing facilities, private bathrooms and laundry washing and drying machines are only some of the features of these sanitary points. You would like to spend your holiday in a unique bay of the island of Pag and do not own a tent, caravan or camper van? Choose the mobile homes Adria or Premium and, from your spacious terrace, every evening absorb the last rays of the sun's warmth. Spacious  mobile homes Mediteran Superior will provide full comfort to families with children. Relax on the covered terrace while your children enjoy water fun at the  common swimming pool. RESTAURANTS AND BARS

The island of Pag has always nurtured the tradition of taste – the Pag cheese, prosciutto ham and lamb. Acquaint yourselves with the island of Pag's local cuisine at the restaurant Plaža and taste the traditional specialities from the fireplace at the tavern Konoba Đardin . Whichever gourmet story you choose, a capella style Pag klapa songs will follow you.

BEACHES AND SWIMMING POOLS

Facing towards the open sea, the Campsite Straško pebble beach is one of the more attractive island of Pag's beaches. Enjoy all the activities at sea and, above you, the Blue Flag will be flying – a symbol of cleanliness of the sea and arrangement of the beach. While youngsters have fun with water games at the swimming pool complex , you can rest on sunbeds or join the animation team in aqua aerobics.

Apart from the sun and the clear sea, at Campsite Straško you can also enjoy an active holiday . The campsite animation team will make sure that your youngsters have fun, socialise with their peers and learn something new. You, too, can join the animation programme – zumba, power walking, evening show programmes and an open air cinema, are only a part of what Campsite Straško has to offer.

Wirklich tolle Anlage! Nette Leute.

Sehr kleiner Pool für so viele Menschen. Keine Liegen und Schirme. Wenig Animation für Erwachsene. Sportprogramm war nur Pilates, Yoga und Aquagymnastik. Beim Einchecken erhält man einen Lageplan, sonst keine Infos. Wochenprogramm muss man sich abfotografieren. Info über kleinen Zug nur auf Nachfrage. Lage sehr gut. Bedenken muss man allerdings die Erreichbarkeit der Insel mit der Fähre. In der Hauptsaison sehr viel los, lange Wartezeit an der Fähre. Campingplatz darf erst ab 7uhr mit dem Auto verlassen werden, d.h. schwierig nachts abzureisen. Straße des Campingplatz kaum beleuchtet. Viele Urlauber fahren mit Roller, Fahrrädern im dunklen ohne Licht.

The beach compared to the adjacent one in Gajac was pretty \"stoney\". You basically can not get into the water without beach shoes.

Rental Information

Who can rent.

Anyone is welcome to rent equipment. Current U of I students receive a discount on all rentals with their VandalCard.

The U of I Rental Center is user-fee supported.

• All prices listed reflect two-day or weekend rates.
• No charge for pickup and return days (except for one-day rentals).
• Advance reservations accepted with payment at the rental center.
• Long-term daily rental prices are reduced 50 percent after Five days paid at regular rate.
• Equipment must be returned during regular business hours.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations more than 14 days notice = 90 percent refund.
• Cancellations less than 14 days out  = 75 percent rental credit refund.

We cannot issue refunds for purchases made with rental credit.

Reservations

Avoid the weekend rush, and make reservations 10 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday. Reservations can be made with full payment at the rental center.

Pickup & Returns

Bring valid ID, and allow at least 15 minutes when picking up or returning equipment so staff can verify its condition.
