This new layout is better IMO, but there are a few other problems that kinda bug me

Unpopular opinion, but this new layout is better. I don’t even remember the old layout since I’m not even a long-time iOS user (this is my first iPhone). I looked up the old layout or the “cascade” layout and it looks more painful to me than the new one. By the looks of it, it’s definitely easier to miss a tab you’re looking for in the older version, and then you will have to spend like 10 more minutes scrolling to find the tab you’re looking for. Sure, it may be “faster”, but it’s definitely harder to find the certain tab you’re looking for if most of the tabs are only viewable by a little area at the top. This app is mostly fine except for a few problems I get from time to time. Today I’m having a problem where I was trying to look at some Google images and then I tried to look at more but it was just stuck on loading. It wouldn’t even finish loading. This happened only on like 2 searches thankfully though. I’d probably give it a 95% since it has some minor lags and problems.

It’s a free app after $1,300-$1,500 are committed to the iPhone or MacBook Pro. The compass 🧭 does point to Egypt but it doesn’t cost that much to ship off to Paris with a couple Arabic guys who can and do care {if you’re into it}. The airliner is Spirit. There are several accessible payment plans for the Mac environment that make Mona Lisa hop on anyone’s phone, simply to eat your mind’s food for thought.♾️ If you’re trying to hide your tail, on occasion Safari does it for you, for free, despite the bill for the hardware. Your Underrated Prince, Safari

In my humble opinion, Safari is the underrated king among multiple web browsers on the market. I was a PC devotee from ‘95 to ‘16, since then, it’s been all Tim Cook 🍎 all the time. My only regret is not purchasing a smartphone back in ‘07 from Steve Jobs. Presently, I own an iPhone 6s Plus in rose gold (2016), iPad Mini (2016), iPad Pro (2019) & MacBook (2018) in rose gold with matching Beats By Dre headphones. All four are set up with Safari, not Chrome, TOR, Brave, Edge, or DDGo. I love the ability to quickly save favorites, add to reading list & share content to other platforms. My favorites are alphabetized for quick reference & the reading list keeps all articles & pages in chronological order for quick recall. Also, I learned Safari quickly because it’s extremely user friendly. The browser helped my navigation of Apple when switching from PC. I’ll admit, learning MacBook isn’t easy, but, Safari keeps things familiar for me on the desktop. When lost, just go back to Safari & start over. It’s surprising no one in tech media mentions Safari more often as a go to source for navigating the internet. Chrome is the reigning king of, Land Of Browsers, without an heir apparent. I nominate Safari as the prince with future king potential. Citizens of Land Of Browsers don’t like their chrome-plated dirty laundry aired, sold or tracked.

Biographical notes

Two young watchmakers decided to pool their expertise to create one of the largest watch brands of all time, Audemars Piguet. Jules-Louis Audemars and Edward-Auguste Piguet in 1875 decided to jointly produce complicated watches.

Began production in Le Brassus, a village in Valle de Joux in Geneva, where they are located faithful to its long tradition. From there, they created real wonders of luxury watches and today continue to demand that the spirit of its founders Audemars and Edward Piguet Jules instilled.

When the Royal Oak was launched in 1972, immediately caught the attention of two very good reasons. Its first truly original style, the work of Gérald Genta, the incomparable designer imagined octagonal bezel instead of eight visible screws, and its integrated bracelet. Second, because the Royal Oak was the first high-end sports watch.

The mark gave his Royal Oak an automatic movement with calendar function. He took his innovative form of a porthole on HMS Royal Oak, the ship would also give his name.

Since its launch, the Safari has caused very popular among lovers of watches is one of those watches that everybody likes us no real apparent reason, apart from the overall design. Whether cream-colored dial, black numbers, special crocodile strap is difficult to highlight a feature that makes it so attractive to most people. AP was a great success with this piece, and the market has spoken. Depending on the country, the Offshore has a waiting list of between 3 to 9 months.

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful Offshore never left the factory in LeBrassus

Offshore collection, Safari always caught my attention, mainly because of the color and very nice lines. Is this cool brown crocodile strap (Hornback) with the texture of the bone, making it a very euh ... Safari. Like all other Royal Oak, Safari also has the 8 screws (in the original white gold) on the bezel of the watch. When the clock is stopped at certain angles, light plays nicely with the glossy bezel and polished screws. I find myself doing this quite regularly.

The watch is much larger than the original model of Royal Oak, and not only that, but also a bit different in shape. This model and models of sea are known for their rubber parts, like the thick rubber gasket between the bezel and the watch case and protective rubber chronograph push buttons and crown.

The biggest difference I find with it is that Gen. Gen. crown and pushers are not aligned. For not being a dedicated chronograph movement, but a regular movement with a chronograph module further (this method is called in tow).

The grassroots movement is a movement manufactured, which has been used by Audemars Piguet in 2005. The regular automatic Royal Oak Date (ref. 15 300) has the same base movement (caliber 3120), among others. The movement used in Safari (and other offshore chronographs) is known as caliber 3126/3840 with 59 jewels and a power reserve of 55 hours.

The dial-style models in the collection Royal Oak Offshore is decorated with the motif "Mega Tapisserie."

The alligator strap is wearing an elegant Hornback, and the crown and buttons are molded in black rubber.

The screws go back through the clock and the screw (the gene white gold) on the bezel is actually a hex (in the Republic also has an intermediate cylindrical nut). The text on the back of the AP ROO Safari tells you all you need, except for water resistance.

Each Audemars Piguet has a number of mechanism (engraved on the plate, in general, and the wheel) and a number of box is always visible (recorded outside the bottom of the box).

In my case the number of replicates would be: No. 8520:

The production number is a combination of a letter and a few If someone can explain the logic behind these numbers, would be very grateful.

With approximately 800 employees in Switzerland and 200 in foreign countries, Audemars Piguet is capable of producing between 25,000 and 30,000 watches a year. Therefore, there must be something to do with the combination of these two identifiers in the back of the clock.

The dimensions of 44mm x 14.75mm, it may not look good on the wrists of the world, but certainly are comfortable on the wrist.

The strap is made by master craftsman Jacob ( www.jacobstraps.com ), which after discussion accepted the challenge to make this belt.

The strap is made of Cayman (Hornback), is a very unique and because of its difficulty, sometimes, you can only make a leather strap, hence the price, often exclusive and unique pieces, it is very difficult to find two skins with this part, which is bone.

The interior, like the lining, are 1 ª quality cow

In alligator brown colors available are gold, brown and black.

To manufacture, Jacob currently uses the belt endlinks China.

Authentic leather maintenance

1 - Watch your belt of spending time in the sun and rain.

2 - be careful not to apply chemicals such as acids and lubricants that can damage the texture and color of your belt.

3 - Keep in mind that this type of skin tends to darken naturally over time gradually, so if you polish with some substance to base oil and grease, the color will darken faster.

4 - If you want to clean you can with a cloth dampened with water and give to any pasta or other neutral oil-based substances, preferably natural or mineral that will not damage the skin and buff with a dry cloth.

This is an awesome review with excellent pictures and perfect accessories/settings. Very interesting and beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Did You do other reviews? Have to take a look, this is sooo good. One thing though: Did I miss the lumeshots?

No you did not - the Safari has no lume anyway.

Just some remarks, fwiw: It is not only the crown and pushers of the gen are not aligned vs. being in line on the rep, plus the cyclops is too far on the right because of the datewheel. From my point of view the most disturbing issue it is the huge difference in thickness. The rep measures 16 mm whilst the gen only has 14,3 mm - so there is a difference of 1,7 mm which is a plus of more than 10%, and that means not only being visible but it also affects the wearing comfort. Personally I don't know if I could live with that issue though, it might be a real show-stopper. OTOH, having this watch properly modded makes it one of the most stunning pieces you can get - however it will cost you approx. $3.000 then...

I don't mind the aesthetic difference so much, but I did find my rep ROO to be unbelievably top heavy. I suppose if I were to get en AP Bands tang buckle that would at least keep the deploy from digging into my wrist all day

This is a truly beautiful watch. I would love to have one, however the weight and top heaviness are a big concern to me. My wrist size is a shade over 7" and the S/S ROO Diver is definitely at the limits of comfort and wearability for me. I believe that come summer with short sleeves it will be OK, but under a shirt and sweater or jacket with cuffs, it's downright uncomfortable. How does the Safari and/or other AP chrono models compare to the Diver as far as wearability? My FC Diver is much more comfortable, I suppose because it's significantly lighter.

Addressing the height issue, what can be done to the rep case if anything to make it slimmer. Would you need to use a genuine movement with case mods?

iOS 15 Safari Guide: Tabs, Extensions, Search Bar, and Other Changes

Apple's Safari app has undergone a number of changes during the iOS 15 beta testing process. Apple started out with a radical new design that moved the address bar from the top of the app's interface and introduced a floating tab bar, but after a multitude of complaints, there were several redesigns that culminated in an option to undo the iOS 15 design entirely.

Design Changes

Safari started out with a new floating tab design that moved the address bar and tabs to the bottom of the iPhone interface, but now the design change is optional.

You can get to webpage settings by tapping on the Aa, or reload a page by tapping on the reload button. With this Tab Bar interface, when you scroll through a webpage, the entire Tab Bar collapses down so you can see more of the website. You can bring it back up with a tap.

If you choose "Single Tab" instead of "Tab Bar," the address bar and tabs will remain at the top of the Safari window, which is how iOS 14 works. The design of the Single Tab option is unchanged from iOS 14, with the same control bar available at the bottom of the interface. You can't swipe through tabs using the Single Tab interface and will instead need to use the Tab Switcher.

You can swap between the bottom Tab Bar and the Single Tab interface by tapping on the "Aa" button that's next to any URL.

Website Tinting

Available in the Settings app, Allow Website Tinting matches the collapsed Safari address bar interface to the website's colors to make it blend in better with the background.

Landscape Tab Bar

With the new Landscape Tab Bar setting, when you use your ‌iPhone‌ in landscape mode with Safari, you'll see a Mac-style tab bar that shows all of your open tabs, and you can swipe through them.

Pull to Refresh

A downward swipe on any webpage in iOS 15 will refresh the page, and this is an alternative to having to tap on the reload icon.

Tabs in iOS 15 can be saved into Tab Groups, which offers a way to preserve a set of tabs you have open without having to have those tabs active.

To make a Tab Group, just open up all of the websites that you want to include, tap on the Tabs button with the down arrow, and then tap New Tab Group from [#] Tabs. You can also use this option to create a New Empty Tab Group that tabs can be added to later. Long press on any open tab (or the main address bar if you have the single tab view enabled) to add it to a Tab Group.

To load up a Tab Group, tap on the Tabs button and then tap on the name of the group in the list. All of your Tab Groups sync across your devices so you can access them on iPhones and iPads running iOS and iPadOS 15 as well as on Macs running macOS Monterey.

Tab Overview Grid

In iOS 14, all of your open tabs are displayed in a card-like interface that you can swipe through, but in iOS 15, open tabs are displayed in a grid view.

Customizable Start Page

Safari is more customizable in iOS 15, and you can edit what's available on your start page. This is a feature that has been available on macOS, but is now also available on iOS devices.

You can choose to have the start page show Favorites, Frequently Visited sites, Shared With You content, Privacy Report info, Siri Suggestions, Reading List, and iCloud Tabs.

There's an option to use the same Start Page appearance across all devices, and a toggle to upload the background image of your choice.

iCloud Private Relay

‌iCloud‌ Private Relay is a privacy feature that makes sure all of your Safari traffic is encrypted.

As explained in our privacy guide , ‌iCloud‌ Private Relay protects your IP address and de-links it from the websites that you visit by utilizing two separate internet relays.

By having a two-step process that involves both an Apple server and a third-party server, ‌‌iCloud‌‌ Private Relay prevents anyone, including Apple, from determining a user's identity and linking it to the website the user is visiting.

With this system, Apple knows your IP address and the third-party partner knows the site you're visiting, and because the information is de-linked, neither Apple nor the partner company has a complete picture of the site you're visiting and your location, and neither does the website you're browsing. Normally websites have access to this data and combined with cookies, can use it to build a profile of your preferences.

Web Extensions

Safari in iOS 15 supports web extensions, with web extensions able to be downloaded and installed through the App Store . Available extensions include content blockers, VPNs, and more.

Russian nationalists protest Putin in Moscow

MOSCOW Thousands of nationalists marched through Moscow on Sunday chanting slogans such as "Russia for the Russians" to protest President Vladimir Putin's government, which they accuse of lavishing privileges on migrants and minorities while ignoring ethnic Russians.

The anti-Kremlin tone of the nationalists, who once backed Putin, comes as the movement's leaders try to broaden their base in the wake of last winter's historic opposition protests against the Russian leader. Some nationalists are even denouncing violence and racism, moves many mainstream opposition activists view with suspicion.

Sunday's march took place on Unity Day, a national holiday established in 2005 to replace commemorations of the Bolshevik Revolution. It has become associated with the nationalist "Russian March," which has taken a stridently anti-Kremlin tone. More than 40 Russian Marches were held throughout the country during the day.

Putin is "scared of us. He feels his time is coming to an end, because the future belongs to us," Alexander Belov, leader of the nationalist group Russkie, told the marchers in Moscow.

The Levada Center, an independent Russian survey agency, says its studies indicate that nearly half of Russians resent government subsidies to the restive, mostly Muslim Caucasus republics and dislike migrants from both the Caucasus and the former Soviet Central Asian states.

Such sentiments often overlap with the opposition movement that dramatically rose up last December after parliamentary elections tainted by fraud claims. Prominent opposition figure Alexei Navalny has called on the Kremlin to "stop feeding the Caucasus," particularly Chechnya, and was one of the Russian March's organizers until this year.

Nationalist leaders believe many ordinary Russians share their concerns but that they are put off by their movement's more radical members. As a result, some nationalist leaders have denounced racism and violence and some are even trying to set up a more mainstream political party.

"You hear it all the time: `I've really had it with the darkies, but I'm still not a nationalist,"' nationalist leader Konstantin Krylov told The Associated Press last week. "And then people go up to me after I speak at protests and say, `Listen, you're a nationalist, but you're telling it like it is."'

Although they make up a small part of the broad anti-Putin protest movement, nationalists are among its most visible members, thanks in part to their experience organizing Russian Marches. Nationalists have spoken at rallies alongside major opposition figures and ran for the opposition movement's elected governing council last month.

But mainstream opposition leaders are wary of the nationalists' violent racist elements, and few share their enthusiasm for a unified protest movement. Some organized a largely successful campaign to ensure that moderate nationalists were elected to the governing council instead of radicals.

And several liberals called for one nationalist to be expelled from the governing council after he wrote on Facebook that Sunday's march would be "as happy as the Holocau... as Halloween!"

"There was no reason to legitimize them," prominent opposition figure Vladimir Ryzhkov said. "It's like the Nazis in the 1920s — they were marginal until they got support from politicians and businessmen, and it brought the whole of Europe to ruin."

Nationalists staunchly supported Putin for much of his first two presidential terms in 2000-2008, and Putin frequently incorporated nationalist rhetoric in his speeches. After serving a term as prime minister, Putin is now in his third stint as president.

By the end of Putin's second presidential term, racist violence had skyrocketed. More than 100 immigrants were murdered yearly from 2007 to 2009, according to the Sova Center, which monitors hate crimes in Russia.

A crackdown began in 2010 when thousands of nationalist soccer hooligans clashed with riot police outside the Kremlin. Since then, 419 people have been convicted of violent hate crimes — more than in the six preceding years — and the racist murder rate has dropped by about 80 percent, according to Sova.

Prominent nationalist groups such as the Slavic Union and the Movement Against Illegal Immigration were banned for extremism. Krylov is trying to start the National Democratic Party, which he claims is modeled after "not even that conservative" center-right parties in Poland and the Czech Republic.

Sunday's march in Moscow was subdued compared to previous years, when skinheads have attacked migrants and clashed with police. Speakers' most common demand was for the body of the late Soviet leader Vladimir Lenin to be removed from a mausoleum near the Kremlin, in contrast to the xenophobic rhetoric that colored past rallies.

Nonetheless, Russian nationalism's future may lie with its crude rank-and-file rather than leaders who pepper their conversations with literary quotations and historical references, said Sova's Natalia Yudina.

"They're not good at speaking to the young, shaven-headed activists," she said. "If you try to ban Nazi salutes and racist chants, you're never going to be popular with this crowd."

Although Sunday's organizers said most participants in the march were ordinary people, skinheads with covered faces and neo-Nazis were highly visible. When a regional nationalist activist gave several fascist salutes, Belov rushed onstage and awkwardly hugged her to stop her from raising her right arm.

Though no violence was reported at the Moscow march, at least 100 people were involved in a brawl in a subway station between nationalist and anti-fascist activists shortly after it ended, the Interfax news agency reported. Police also detained 25 men wearing overcoats emblazoned with swastikas.

About 200 people were arrested for participating in unsanctioned Russian Marches in St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg and Kazan.

The rise in nationalist sentiment since the 2008 financial crisis should gather pace if economic conditions worsen in Russia, which relies heavily on oil and gas revenue, said Nikolai Petrov, an analyst at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

"This is the tip of the iceberg," he added. "The Kremlin is worried that nationalist sentiment will become uncontrollable."
