About Aerosmith
Celebrating their 50th anniversary, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members Aerosmith have sold more than 150 million albums around the world, produced genre-defining music videos such as “Amazing,” “Crazy,” “Janie’s Got A Gun,” “Livin’ On The Edge,” and “Love In An Elevator,” and launched extravagant record-shattering global tours, most recently with their smash hit Las Vegas residency. The band has broken numerous boundaries, including becoming the first rock band with a massive commercially successful hip-hop collaboration with Run DMC on “Walk This Way” and the first hard rock band to appear during a Super Bowl Halftime Show with their 2001 performance, and in 1999, Aerosmith became the first band to have their own themed attraction at Disney World in Florida and later Paris with the launch of the Rock ‘N’ Roller coaster starring Aerosmith. About The Black Crowes
In 1990, when journalists were lamenting the death of rock, as cheesy pop and hair metal dominated the charts, Atlanta’s Black Crowes gave the genre a swift and much needed kick in the ass with Shake Your Money Maker . Fueled by singles “Jealous Again,” “Twice As Hard,” “She Talks To Angels,” and the break-through cover of Otis Redding’s “Hard To Handle,” the band immediately took the rock world by storm, topping Rolling Stone’s “Best New American Band Readers Poll” in late 1990. The Black Crowes went on to release eight studio and four live albums, selling in the tens of millions along the way; they sold out shows around the world; had legendary guitarist Jimmy Page join as a member; got kicked off a tour with ZZ Top for insulting the sponsor; got screwed by bad record deals; got married and divorced, fought amongst themselves and against the rest of the world. In other words, they’ve done everything a legendary rock group should do

Aerosmith Announce Rescheduled Dates for Peace Out Farewell Tour
By Andy Greene
Andy Greene
Aerosmith have announced rescheduled dates for their Peace Out farewell tour, which was suspended in September 2023 because Steven Tyler fractured his larynx. This new leg kicks off Sept. 20 in Pittsburgh and wraps up Feb. 26 in Buffalo, New York. They’ll once again be joined by the Black Crowes.
The band announced plans to wrap their career with one final tour in May 2023, but they played a mere three shows before Tyler severely hurt his larynx. “I am heartbroken to not be out there with Aerosmith, my brothers, and the incredible Black Crowes, rocking with the best fans in the world,” he wrote in a message to fans. “I promise we will be back as soon as we can!”

Aerosmith Peace Out: See the setlist for the iconic band's farewell tour
After 50 years of touring, Aerosmith is saying "No More No More" to the road with their Peace Out tour.
At Aerosmith's kickoff show Sept. 2 in Philadelphia , the band proved it was in peak form for this victory lap, which plays arenas in North America through January.
Steven Tyler's yowl – as well as his scarf-adorned mic stand – is well-preserved, while his fellow Toxic Twin, Joe Perry, is still serving sizzling blues-rock with ease.
While original drummer Joey Kramer is sitting out the band's final tour, Brad Whitford and Tom Hamilton remain to add their handiwork on guitar and bass, respectively. John Douglas, Aerosmith's former drum tech, is filling Kramer's seat.
The band's two-hour, 18-song show is rife with '70s and '80s hits including "Love in an Elevator" and "Janie's Got a Gun." But no Aerosmith concert would be complete without standards "Dream On" and "Walk This Way," mainstays that are receiving one last hurrah.

Aerosmith 2023 farewell tour dates: Band says ‘Peace Out,’ starting in Sept.
If you get Global News from Instagram or Facebook - that will be changing. Find out how you can still connect with us .
Aerosmith will be touring a city near you for the last time to celebrate the rock band’s 50-plus years together.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band announced Monday the dates for their farewell tour called “Peace Out” starting Sept. 2 in Philadelphia. The 40-date run of shows, which includes a stop in the band’s hometown of Boston on New Year’s Eve, will end Jan. 26 in Montreal.
“I think it’s about time,” guitarist Joe Perry said.
Perry said the group, with frontman Steven Tyler , bassist Tom Hamilton, drummer Joey Kramer and guitarist Brad Whitford, learned from the staging and production from their recent Las Vegas residency shows.
Perry believes the time to say goodbye is now, especially with every founding band member over the age of 70. Tyler, 75, is the oldest in the group.
“It’s kind of a chance to celebrate the 50 years we’ve been out here,” Perry said. “You never know how much longer everybody’s going to be healthy to do this. … It’s been a while since we’ve actually done a real tour. We did that run in Vegas, which was great. It was fun, but (we’re) kind of anxious to get back on the road.”
Tyler and Perry said the band is looking forward to digging into their lengthy catalog of the group’s rock classics including Crazy , Janie’s Got a Gun and Livin’ on the Edge .
Over the years, Aerosmith, which formed in 1970, has collected four Grammys. The band broke boundaries intersecting rock and hip-hop with their epic collaboration with Run-DMC for Walk This Way .
Aerosmith performed the Super Bowl halftime show in 2001 and even had their own theme park attraction in 1999 at Disney World in Florida and later in Paris with the launch of the “Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith” ride.
“We’re opening up Pandora’s Box one last time to present our fans with the Peace Out tour,” Tyler said in a statement to The Associated Press. His Pandora’s Box reference calls out Aerosmith’s 1991 three-disc compilation album that covered the band’s output from the 1970s to the early 1980s.
“Be there or beware as we bring all the toys out of the attic. Get ready,” Tyler added.
The band said Kramer decided to not take part in the current dates on the upcoming tour. He’s still a part of the group, but the drummer has been on leave to “focus his attention on his family and health” since their Vegas residency last year. Drummer John Douglas will continue to play in his place.

Perry called Kramer their brother. The band said his “legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed.”
Before the 40-date tour wraps, Perry said other cities domestically and internationally could be added.
“It’s the final farewell tour, but I have a feeling it will go on for a while,” he said. “But I don’t know how many times we’ll be coming back to the same cities. It could very possibly be the last time.”

About Aerosmith
Celebrating their 50th anniversary, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members Aerosmith have sold more than 150 million albums around the world, produced genre-defining music videos such as "Amazing," "Crazy," "Janie's Got A Gun," "Livin' On The Edge," and "Love In An Elevator," and launched extravagant record-shattering global tours, most recently with their smash hit Las Vegas residency.
The band has broken numerous boundaries, including becoming the first rock band with a massive commercially successful hip-hop collaboration with Run DMC on "Walk This Way" and the first hard rock band to appear during a Super Bowl Halftime Show with their 2001 performance, and in 1999, Aerosmith became the first band to have their own themed attraction at Disney World in Florida and later Paris with the launch of the Rock 'N' Roller coaster starring Aerosmith. About The Black Crowes
In 1990, when journalists were lamenting the death of rock, as cheesy pop and hair metal dominated the charts, Atlanta's Black Crowes gave the genre a swift and much needed kick in the ass with Shake Your Money Maker. Fueled by singles "Jealous Again," "Twice As Hard," "She Talks To Angels," and the break-through cover of Otis Redding's "Hard To Handle," the band immediately took the rock world by storm, topping Rolling Stone's "Best New American Band Readers Poll" in late 1990.
In other words, they've done everything a legendary rock group should do.

How to buy tickets for Aerosmith's 2023 concert tour
You can purchase original tickets to Aerosmith's 2023 Peace Out: Farewell Tour through Ticketmaster , although only a select number still remain for each show. Also, tickets still available on Ticketmaster are typically more expensive than those that can be found on verified resale platforms such as StubHub and Vivid Seats.
On the lower end, standard tickets to Aerosmith's 2023 tour on StubHub begin at approximately $61 to $239, depending on the date and venue. Meanwhile, the cheaper tickets available on Vivid Seats range from about $57 to $223, similarly varying by concert venue and date. When accounting for VIP packages, the cost increases significantly on each purchasing platform.
How much are Aerosmith tickets?
The prices for original Aerosmith concert tickets have risen since first becoming available on Ticketmaster . Additionally, the cost of an original ticket varies depending on the demand for a particular location and date.
For instance, among the cheapest prices on Ticketmaster for a standard original ticket to the 2023 Peace Out: Farewell Tour is $54.95 for Aerosmith's Raleigh, North Carolina show on February 26. Meanwhile, the cheapest original standard ticket price for their Boston show on New Year's Eve costs $551.95 due to location, date, and demand. However, the number of standard original tickets remaining for the concerts is dwindling, so you may have better luck with verified resales.
There are also three VIP packages for Aerosmith's 2023 Peace Out: Farewell Tour at varying prices. The packages include the Aerosmith THX Certified PIT VIP Experience, Aerosmith Gold Seat VIP Package, and Steven Tyler and Joe Perry VIP Meet & Greet Upgrade. At Aerosmith's San Jose concert, the Gold Seat package costs $595.95, while the Gold Star package at Newark costs between $599.95 and $649.95. Here's a breakdown of the various Aerosmith VIP packages from Ticketmaster's website .
Original prices typically come in much higher than resale prices for Aerosmith concerts. Many of the cheaper tickets are verified resales for concert dates further away, suggesting you might find the best prices by purchasing sooner rather than later.
Who is opening for Aerosmith's tour?
The opening act for Aerosmith for each concert on the 2023-2024 Peace Out: Farewell Tour will be performed by The Black Crowes. The band's biggest hits include songs like "She Talks to Angels," "Remedy," and "Kickin' My Heart Around."
Will there be international tour dates?
At the time of writing, it seems Aerosmith will not be embarking on an international leg for their Peace Out: Farewell Tour. Instead, the tour appears to be exclusively set in North America, with the only two international dates being in Montreal and Toronto, Canada.

Aerosmith postpone all upcoming Peace Out farewell tour dates to “sometime in 2024”
After postponing a few shows, Aerosmith have now announced that Steven Tyler’s vocal injury is “more serious than initially thought”, and their whole 2023 Peace Out gigs will be moving to next year.
Words: Emily Carter
September 29th 2023, 5:20p.m.
Just over two weeks on from postponing six dates of their 2023 Peace Out farewell tour after Steven Tyler suffered vocal cord damage, Aerosmith have now announced that the whole thing is being moved to “sometime” next year.
The band have shared that “Unfortunately, Steven’s vocal injury is more serious than initially thought”, and the frontman not only damaged his vocal cords, he also “fractured his larynx which requires ongoing care”.
“He is receiving the best medical treatment available to ensure his recovery is swift, but given the nature of a fracture, he is being told patience is essential,” they write in a statement.
“As a result, all the currently scheduled Peace Out shows must be postponed to sometime in 2024, with new dates to be announced as soon as we know more.”
Steven himself adds: “I am heartbroken to not be out there with Aerosmith, my brothers and the incredible Black Crowes, rocking with the best fans in the world. I promise we will be back as soon as we can! Love, Steven”

Steven Tyler Joins the Black Crowes Onstage in London Months After Fracturing Larynx
The Aerosmith frontman fractured his larynx in September 2023, forcing his band to reschedule dates for the remainder of their Peace Out farewell tour
- On Wednesday, May 15, Steven Tyler performed onstage with the Black Crowes for the first time since recovering from fracturing his larynx in September 2023
- The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer's injury forced his band, Aerosmith, to postpone dates for their Peace Out farewell tour
- The tour is set to resume in September with a new set of dates
Steven Tyler is on the mend and back to performing after fracturing his larynx last year.
The Aerosmith frontman, 76, joined the legendary rock band the Black Crowes onstage for a surprise performance at London’s Eventim Apollo on Wednesday, May 15, his first since sustaining a vocal cord injury that forced his band to pause their Peace Out farewell tour in 2023.
“If it is alright with y’all, we wanna play one more song,” Crowes frontman Chris Robinson said while introducing Tyler, per SPIN . “We wanna dedicate it to somebody who is a dear friend and a hero and a legend, Mr. Steven Tyler. We will be touring with Aerosmith soon, so we wanna play one of his songs.”
Tyler and the band then closed out the show by tearing into a cover of the 1973 Aerosmith classic, “Mama Kin.” The former looked rather lively as he performed, seemingly back in good health and ready to hit the road again following months of recovery.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer also posed for a photo with the Black Crowes, plus Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page, where he was all smiles. “Rock Royalty Reigned last night at the #HappinessBastardsTour at the @eventimapollo in London. @iamstevent @jimmypage @aerosmith @ledzeppelin,” the band captioned an Instagram post .
Ross Halfin
Back in February, Tyler shared an update on his vocal injury while hosting his fifth annual Jam for Janie Grammys viewing party — which benefits his non-profit Janie's Fund, created to help girls who have experienced abuse and neglect.
"My throat's been better, but it is on the mend," he told attendees. "And out of all things, I've decided to take the advice not from my doctors, but from the girls at Janie's house."
In May 2023, Aerosmith confirmed rumors of a farewell tour by announcing Peace Out , an originally scheduled, 40-city North American concert run celebrating their monumental career.
"After 50 years, 10 world tours and playing for over 100 million fans, it's time for one last go," a release said of the news. Bandmates Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, and Brad Whitford added in a joint statement, "It's not goodbye it's PEACE OUT!”
The announcement continued, “Get ready and walk this way, you're going to get the best show of our lives."

By mid-September 2023, a few weeks after Aerosmith’s tour kicked off in Philadelphia , the Rock in a Hard Place band revealed that Tyler had received doctor’s orders “not to sing for the next 30 days,” which forced them to postpone a handful of scheduled shows that month in Detroit, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Toronto, Raleigh, North Carolina, and Cleveland to 2024.
In a since-deleted Instagram statement posted at the beginning of the month, Tyler shared, “I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve.”
But things only got worse for the "Angel" artist from there, as it was later revealed that he’d fractured his larynx , forcing Aerosmith to pause their farewell tour altogether.
“Unfortunately, Steven’s vocal injury is more serious than initially thought,” the “Sweet Emotion” rockers wrote in a statement on social media later that month. “His doctor has confirmed that in addition to the damage to his vocal cords, he fractured his larynx which requires ongoing care.”
They continued, “He is receiving the best medical treatment available to ensure his recovery is swift, but given the nature of a fracture, he is being told patience is essential."
Tyler closed out the announcement by telling fans, “I am heartbroken to not be out there with Aerosmith, my brothers and the incredible Black Crowes, rocking with the best fans in the world. I promise we will be back as soon as we can!”
Shows for the Peace Out tour have since been rescheduled. In April, Aerosmith announced a new set of dates that will resume later this year and run until January 2025.
Tyler’s vocal cord injury comes after he entered a treatment program amid a relapse in May 2022 after undergoing foot surgery to prepare for his band’s Deuces Are Wild Las Vegas residency . The “Dream On” singer’s health issues affected that slate of shows as well, as the band was forced to cancel shows that December.
In a statement, Tyler updated fans on his health and said, "On the advice of my doctor, I'm taking more time to rest. There is nowhere we'd rather be than on stage surrounded by the greatest fans in the world."
