The Procaliber is now only available with a carbon frame, but we've also added a 9.5 model to bring the price down closer to the old alloy models. The new Procaliber gets a straight down tube to add stiffness without adding weight. It also has Knock Block, but with more turning radius than previous versions (62 degrees vs 58 degrees).

This is an expensive bike for a kid, but with the NICA discount I decided to splurge. Another decider was the Trek sizing.
