Much of the world first heard acclaimed singer-songwriter Matteo Bocelli on Fall on Me , the English/Italian song that he co-wrote for the elder Bocelli’s  acclaimed 2018 album,  Sì , which topped the  Billboard  200 and the UK Official Albums chart. The song, which has amassed over 300 million combined global streams, went on to soundtrack Disney’s  The Nutcracker and the Four Realms . The pair performed Fall on Me at Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Bowl as well as on numerous television programs, including Dancing with the Stars , Good Morning America , The Royal Variety Performance and Strictly Come Dancing. It was a powerful introduction, but Matteo’s musical journey began when he was a child.

By age six, he was learning piano, and as a teenager his passion for music rivalled his love of sport. At 18 he made his stage debut, singing Verdi at the Colosseum in Rome. He’s worked his whole life to master his craft. But the melodies that emerge whenever the young man opens his mouth feel real in a way that can’t be explained by a classical education. He sings with a purity of expression that seems innate, with charisma and clarity of purpose.

Classical pop artist Matteo Bocelli comes to the UK autumn 2023

Up and coming Italian singer songwriter Matteo Bocelli announces UK performances. Tickets are available at 10am on Friday 9 June 2023.

The prodigy of Andrea Bocelli, Matteo Bocelli is an ambitious classical pop artist with smooth tenor following the footsteps of his father. Both pianists, father and son, duetted 'Ven a Mi' together in 2018, 'It is a great joy to be able to have my son next to me on stage', said Andrea.

It seems that the Bocelli lineage are destined performers and musicians. After the family trio featured in a musical episode of The Simpsons, Andrea, Matteo, and Virginia went on to release A Family Christmas , their first family album featuring 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' and 'Feliz Navidad'.

@bocelli_matteo recently celebrated his upcoming single 'For You' releasing midday on Thursday 8 June. In the tweet, Bocelli teased fans about the announcement for October's UK performances, 'Another big announcement tomorrow'.

At 25 years old, singer-songwriter Matteo Bocelli has already performed on some of the world’s biggest stages, sharing his sensitive songs and dynamic vocal performances. In 2018, he and his father, renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli, released “Fall on Me,” a stirring duet that has amassed over 400 million streams worldwide. His debut solo album, Matteo , displays not only his strong but vulnerable vocal style, but also his songwriting on tracks including lead single “For You.” The album also includes the sweeping ballad “Chasing Stars,” written for the project by his pop hero Ed Sheeran, and the disco-tinged “Fasi,” sung in Italian.

Watch star Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli live in concert, at spectacular music arenas across the UK and Ireland.

Andrea Bocelli , one of the world’s best-loved classical artists, is set to do an arena tour in the UK and Ireland in September and October 2022.

The Italian tenor will continue his Believe World Tour in Liverpool, Glasgow, Belfast, Birmingham and Sheffield, and will be playing rescheduled show dates in Dublin and at The O2 London.

During the pandemic, Bocelli dedicated his time to music-making. His album Believe (2020) contains a personal collection of uplifting songs that will be performed by the tenor on his UK and Ireland tour.

In Easter 2020, Bocelli broke international streaming records with his poignant performance from Milan’s Duomo Cathedral which peaked at over three million live viewers, making it the largest classical stream in YouTube history.

“Good music brings with it a powerful message of peace and fellowship, teaching us about beauty, and helping us to open our hearts and minds,” Bocelli has said.

Andrea Bocelli 's son Matteo Bocelli has announced his first-ever headlining tour launching later in 2023 promoting his debut album 'Matteo' . The North American portion of his A Night with Matteo world tour kicks off November 25th in Las Vegas and extends into December visiting additional cities like Mesa, San Diego, Thousand Oaks, Saint Charles, Huntington and Atlantic City. Prior to the U.S. shows, the singer will be heading over to Europe for additional performances.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended into 2024 making more stops in Morristown, Charlotte, Charleston, Nashville, Dallas, New York, Detroit, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Bocelli will be releasing his debut studio album 'Matteo' on September 22nd, 2023 via Capitol Records. The new album includes a mix of songs in English and Italian while featuring production contributions from Ed Sheeran among many others. Back in 2022, the acclaimed young artist and his sister Virginia Bocelli joined their father Andrea on his U.S. arena tour supporting their collaboration album 'A Family Christmas' . He also collaborated with GRAMMY®-nominated, multi-Platinum composer/producer/musician Tom Holkenborg on “Cautionary Tale” for Three Thousand Years of Longing. 2024 officially marks 30 years of Andrea Bocelli’s iconic career. To commemorate his 30th anniversary, Bocelli is set to release a new Duets album on October 25 via Decca Records / Sugar Music, featuring a variety of Bocelli’s most beloved collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Celine Dion, and Luciano Pavarotti, among others, as well as newly recorded tracks with Shania Twain, Chris Stapleton, Karol G, and more. The celebration will continue throughout the fall with the release of his concert film, Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration, which chronicles Bocelli’s three-day July concert event in Italy, in theatres this November.
