Warranty Information - LED Bulbs  

JML KUSTOMS provides a 6-month warranty for its LED bulbs, effective from the date of purchase. Our warranty policy at JML KUSTOMS is designed to ensure a hassle-free experience for our valued customers. It's important to note that these warranties are non-transferable and specifically pertain to the original installation and purchaser. JML KUSTOMS will not assume responsibility for any incidental or consequential damage. Furthermore, we will not be liable for any claims or damages that exceed the original purchase price of the products. Please be aware that our warranty does not extend beyond what is explicitly outlined herein and does not encompass any expressed or implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This warranty is not inclusive of costs related to loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss, or products that have been damaged or rendered defective due to improper installation. Additionally, it's important to know that our warranty does not cover products that have been subject to drilling, cutting, welding, submersion in water, or any other form of modification. JML KUSTOMS cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from road hazards, accidents, misuse, neglect, water intrusion, abuse, or exposure to corrosive environments, which includes acid washes and the use of highway snow and ice chemicals. These factors can lead to discoloration and corrosion in our aluminum, chrome, stainless steel, and lighting products. We strive to provide the best quality products and services, and our warranty policy is aimed at ensuring your satisfaction. If you have any questions or require assistance, please feel free to contact us.

Importnat note: please note that the LED bulbs themselves are not waterproof and may be damaged if exposed to excessive moisture. Unfortunately, damage to the LED bulbs due to water exposure is not covered under our warranty.

Warranty Information - Stainless Steel Products 

Under normal and reasonable use, JML KUSTOMS warranties stainless steel products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Our commitment is to provide you with high-quality products, and this warranty is a testament to that commitment. It covers the repair or replacement of parts, subject to JML KUSTOMS' discretion, for any parts that are determined to be defective and fall under the warranty's coverage. However, it's essential to understand the scope of our warranty: Exclusions: This warranty does not extend to cover installation costs, transportation costs, paint costs, or any loss of use. Time Limitation: Claims must be submitted within the one-year warranty period; any claims beyond this period will be conclusively considered waived. In addition to the warranty, there are some important disclaimers to be aware of: Legal Compliance: Some items sold by JML KUSTOMS may not be compliant with street use regulations in all states or provinces. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable laws in their jurisdiction. Safety Guidelines: The buyer acknowledges that parts manufactured or sold by JML KUSTOMS may not conform to U.S. Federal and State safety crash guidelines or Canadian safety crash guidelines. JML KUSTOMS disclaims responsibility or liability for any damages, injuries, potential injuries, or fatalities incurred. The purchaser/user agrees to indemnify and hold JML KUSTOMS harmless from all such claims. Intended Use: All products are intended for use within their specified purposes only. JML KUSTOMS does not assume responsibility for buyer or dealer installation or modifications. Buyer's Responsibility: The buyer bears the responsibility for determining the suitability of the products for their specific needs. Warranty Information for JML Watermelon Flush Mount KIT

At JML KUSTOMS, we stand behind the quality of our products and aim to provide our customers with the best possible experience. However, it's important to note the following regarding the warranty for our Watermelon Flush Mount KIT:

• Scope of Warranty : Our warranty covers manufacturing defects and faulty workmanship in the Watermelon Flush Mount KIT for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.
• Exclusions : This warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from improper installation, misuse, neglect, accidents, modifications, or exposure to corrosive environments, including but not limited to acid washes and the use of highway snow and ice chemicals.
• Water Ingress : While our Watermelon Flush Mount KIT is renowned for its sleek appearance and durability, we acknowledge that water ingress can sometimes occur due to the nature of the glass kit. We have taken measures to enhance the sealing mechanism, but achieving a completely sealed unit like plastic remains challenging.
• Installation Recommendations : We recommend applying silicone inside the rubber plug where the wires pass through and positioning the two mounting screws above the o-ring to ensure better sealing. These adjustments, as suggested by installation professionals, can significantly improve the effectiveness of the kit, especially when mounted upside down or on the bumper.
• LED Bulbs : Please note that the LED bulbs included with the Watermelon Flush Mount KIT are not waterproof. While our kit is designed to withstand normal environmental conditions, including light exposure to water, damage to the LED bulbs due to water exposure is not covered under our warranty.
• Resolution Process : If you encounter any issues with your Watermelon Flush Mount KIT, please contact the place where you purchased the product promptly. They will assist you accordingly and may request images of the installation, including the bottom of the flush mount housing, to better understand the situation and work towards finding a resolution.
• Non-Transferable : This warranty is non-transferable and specifically applies to the original purchaser and installation.
• Limitation of Liability : JML KUSTOMS will not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages that exceed the original purchase price of the product.

DISCLAIMER - Color Bulbs Non-DOT Approved

Please be advised that the color bulbs provided by JML KUSTOMS are not Department of Transportation (DOT) approved. These bulbs are intended for show purposes only and are not certified for use in standard road-going vehicles.

It's important to understand that while these color bulbs may enhance the aesthetic appeal of your vehicle, they do not meet the regulatory standards required for road legality. Therefore, usage of these bulbs on public roads may be subject to legal implications and is not recommended. We emphasize that the color bulbs offered by JML KUSTOMS are designed for display purposes, such as car shows, exhibitions, or off-road use. They are not intended for regular on-road driving due to potential non-compliance with DOT regulations. We encourage all customers to comply with local traffic laws and regulations regarding vehicle lighting. Only eight countries reach north above the Arctic Circle, but without a doubt, Russia reigns supreme. While this means freezing winters with uninterrupted nights that linger for weeks, it’s also the setting for one of the planet’s most awe-inspiring spectacles – the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights.

1. Murmansk, Kola Peninsula

Murmansk , in the extreme north-west near Finland, enjoys over 40 days of uninterrupted night, making it one of the world’s premier destinations for the Aurora Borealis, and with over 300,000 residents you can enjoy all the cosmopolitan comforts of civilisation amidst the serenity of the Arctic.

You can get to Murmansk by train (30h) or flight (2h) from Moscow or St Petersburg, what makes this region is easiest to get in order to experience the Northern Lights from late August to May, with the condition that the night temperature is below -10 ° C, so plan your trip for mid-September to mid-April.

The Northern Lights is a poorly predicted phenomenon and depends on the magnetic activity of the Sun. In other words, you have to wait and literally “hunt” it, which means it’s worth a week or more to go. You can diversify your vacation in the Kola Peninsula by skiing in the Khibiny Mountains or dog sledding in Kirovsk.

2. Arkhangelsk

There is a general rule for observing the Northern Lights in Arkhangelsk region – the heart of Russian North – the further from the large populated areas, the brighter the “dance of the sky” is. Severodvinsk city is where you’d like to go for the Aurora Borealis hunting from mid-September to mid-April. The radiance of the lights here is distinguished by a green shade and specific flicker. Aurora borealis lasts here from 10 minutes to several days. Well, while waiting for the sky to blossom, you may visit the open-air museum of wooden architecture “Malye Korely”.

The flight from Moscow to Arkhangelsk will take two hours, a journey by train – about 22 h.

3. Naryan-Mar

This forgotten northern outpost lost prominence when easier routes across Siberia opened through the Ural mountains, leaving it a preserved vestige of Nenets culture . Enjoy learning myths, legends, and indigenous lore (like not whistling during the northern lights) in a truly unique journey through Russia’s heartland.

The Aurora Borealis in the polar Naryan-Mar is very beautiful, it consists of several colours and is accompanied by a flicker, that turns the night sky into a fairy tale. The best time for observation is the season from November to March. This natural phenomenon is observed usually with a sharp change of weather. The flight to Naryan-Mar from Moscow takes slightly less than three hours.

4. Novaya Zemlya

Only reachable by special permit, this northern archipelago is one of the most extreme locations to view the northern lights. Watch the glow of lights bathe herds of reindeer in subtle greens as they stroll on islands stranded in a frozen sea during the polar night. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.

5. Taimyr Peninsula

Taimyr is called “the edge of the cold”, because the duration of winter here is from 235 days in the south, up to 285 days in the north of the peninsula. The climate is extremely stiff: in winter it’s from -40 ° C and to -60 ° C. Taimyr is also known as the land of rare amazing northern lights.

You can get to the peninsula by plane from Moscow to Norilsk (4h), and then to Dixon, Igarka or Khatanga villages by car. These villages are actually renowned for its bright white light show seen only during summer. But don’t get too excited – the year-round high never gets above +5C (43 F), so don’t forget to pack your coat.

The only “city” in the world located north of Arctic Circle, Salekhard in Yamal region thrives on the northern lights. Known for a specific tint of green local Nenets people call “Nger Harp – the light of the dead,” Salekhard is a city with its own unique connection to the winter light show.   The Nenets are the native people of the Yamal , and one of the largest native communities in Russia also called ‘Samoyeds’ – a nomadic people who used to live by herding reindeer and are close to the Scandinavia’s Sami (or ‘Lapps’).

If you spend a week out in the tundra or taiga at a nomad camp of Nenets, then you are likely to see the Northern Lights. In general, they can be viewed from August until April, but are most common from November to March and best of all in January and February, when nights are long and dark and colder temperatures bring about multi-coloured Northern Lights, rather than the green ones that appear when it’s “warmer”. To get to Salekhard you can by train from Moscow (45h) or by direct flight (2h).

In Russia, the Northern Lights can be seen even in the more southern areas – in, for example, Karelia, Valdai, St Petersburg and Yekaterinburg.

Moscow by Night

One of the most popular tours of my guests is a walk through Moscow at night. This tour helps tourists to see Moscow not as a bustling hive, but as a majestic Empress full of ceremonial glory. Moscow night tour lasts nearly for three hours, but at the end of the walk it seems to be gone only an hour. During the excursion around Moscow at night, guests can enjoy not only the beauty of illumination, but also to learn more about the history of the city and its architecture, see  legendary cathedrals, buildings and squares of Moscow, famous over the world, and to make great shots of attractions.

Night Moscow is full of magic. It is fascinating and enigmatic. If you decided to visit Russia in winter season, you will feel the fairytale atmoshere of the capital decorated with festive New Year and Christmas decorations. Walking through Moscow's streets at night you would never believe that just a few hours before you wandered through the same ones, only in the light of day. It is amazing how the city can change in the glow of night illumination. The incredible beauty of the city at night fascinates.

Excellent illumination turns the capital to the city of a fairy tale, dream-city of the children's book.

A wonderful excursion begins with perhaps the most famous places in the whole Moscow - Red Square , located at the north-eastern wall of the Kremlin. History of Russia's main square has its roots in the end of 15th century.

Nowadays, parades and celebrations of important events in the life of the Russian Federation are held at this famous square. At night Red Square stuns with its magnificent illuminations. Solemn and austere in daylight, it looks elegant and festive in the glow of night lights.

Patriarchy Bridge

Our path lies to the Patriarchy Bridge than. There is a beautiful view of the night Red Square, The Cathedral of Christ the Savior and the monument to Peter the Great at this point.

Built in Russian-Byzantine style in honor of the victory of the Russian people over Napoleon's troops the magnificent Cathedral of Christ the Savior seems to be a magical castle from a fairy tale, full of mysterious charm. Its white silhouette stands out brightly against the night sky. It seems that the walls of the Cathedral lit from within by the divine light. It is really a stunning effect.

Sparrow Hills

Next place that deserves special attention are the Sparrow Hills . There is a unique view on Moscow at night with bird's-eye view from this place - at least 85 meters over of the Moscow-River. Looking at the capital full of illumination, lit by millions of lights, stretching out at the feet, you feel on top of the world. It seems that you are a magician, surveying your luxurious land. You will have the opportunity to see a spectacular view of the Luzhniki stadium - the largest one in Russia and one of the largest stadiums in the world. This stadium was built in 1955-1956 years. It was here the Olympic Games took place and a lot of sport competitions and concerts of well-known artists and bands were conducted.

At night the stadium is light up along the whole circular length at night. It seems that the stadium is a great shining pearl in the illumination of thousands of lights. From this point of Moscow you can see the erecting buildings of Financial Center Moscow-City by projects of English architect Norman Foster. Some buildings are ready; some are in the process of erection. Completion is planned for 2015. We all look forward to completion to enjoy the magnificent view of monumental modern buildings at night in the rays of illumination.

All of Stalin's skyscrapers , erected in the mid 50-ies by the orders of Stalin are visible from the top of Sparrow Hills, including Moscow State University , known for its night laser lights. Each skyscraper has a unique lighting. Panorama from Sparrow Hills is sure to impress guests: dazzling shining of metropolis with millions of lights makes the capital an unforgettable and beautiful. Magic night in Moscow fascinates.

Novodevichy Convent

My guests are particularly impressed by the panorama of Novodevichy Convent .

This magnificent example of the Orthodox women's monastery was founded in 1524 by Prince Vasily III. There are a lot of stories and legends of Moscow connected with the monastery. It played a prominent role in the cultural life of Russia. Today Novodevichy Convent is both working monastery and a branch of the State Historical Museum. Night walk along the pond will fully appreciate the beauty of the Novodevichy convent at night. Rising above the dark surface of the water, it seems to be full of shining, light and peace. The lights of the five-headed Smolensky Cathedral and the monumental bell tower of the monastery illuminate the dark sky solemnly, cutting through the darkness and giving hope.

Victory Park

Three hours driving and walking tour ends in Victory Park on Kutuzov Avenue with a stop near the Arch of Triumph.

Victory Park was opened in Moscow in 1995 and is coincided to 50 years of victory over the fascist invaders. The original nighttime illumination of Victory Monument will not leave any spectator indifferent.

Excellent coverage of the Arch of Triumph on Kutuzov Avenue, built in honor of the victory over Napoleon in 1812, will complement this impression.

The tour will introduce you to such streets and squares as Tverskaya and New Arbat streets, Pushkinskaya Square, Gagarin’s Square, Lubyanka Square, and October Square. Also you will see such famous buildings in the night illumination, as White House, Former KGB, Stalin’s Skyscrapers, Old building of French Embassy, Bolshoy Theater and many others.

Moscow at night is a truly fascinating spectacle. City Lights beckon and create a holiday atmosphere. If you have seen Moscow at night - you looked into her very heart, saw her real - a beautiful, bright, exotic queen.
