Terrible terms and conditions
I have just been advised by this company that although I advised them that I had to cancel my cruise because of my wife's ill health over 2 months ahead They still charged me £2521 cancellation fee as per their terms and conditions which states that they require the notice before your payment settlement date Just be warned of this company's ridiculous terms and conditions

Gavin Chadwick was amazing
Gavin Chadwick was amazing. He was patient, helpful and informative. He couldn't do enough to help me find the right cruise, fare and cabin. He had a great sense of humour, had worked in the ship I am cruising on, so gave me lots of tips. All in all he was a pleasure to deal with.

Good first experience
This was the first time I had booked with 118.com and chose them as they were offering a better price than other cruise booking sites. The whole process was very quick and efficient . The travel consultant was friendly and helpful and was able to complete my booking quickly getting us the our preferrred cabin and a better price .The confirmation and other documents have been quickly received via email.

Easy online booking.
The online booking experience worked very well until I came to make the payment by credit card. I put all the details in but could not input the security number. I had to start over again. Other than that, really easy.

Booked through the call centre with a girl called Rachel halliwell, she explained everything very clearly and made the whole process very simple from start to finish, would highly recommend. Thanks for everything.

Seamless process for booking the cruise with add-ons over the telephone. Sophie, the cruise concierge was extremely helpful, organised everything at such short notice with perfection. Have used Cruise 118 before for all the cruise + holiday bookings including Rocky mountaineer Express tour and never been let down by amazing staff. Our booking experience with Cruise 118 was a stress free experience. This was entirely down to the delightful Emma O'Reilly who did all she could to accommodate our wishes and tried to keep the costs down as well. As cruise newbie's, only our second, we wanted hotel stays before and after with all transfers and flights from a south west airport. Emma had good knowledge and experience, did not rush us, and found the best deal with a good location on the ship. All the documents came through quickly after booking. If the after sale service is as good as my initial experience then we will definitely use them again. Thanks Emma.

I am currently trying to get through to cruise 118 for about the 100th time! . Paid in full go in September still no flight details! Getting ridiculous now..understand when booked as over a year before but should definitely know now .emailed..rang..nothing! Cant book taxi etc...thinking about cancelling everything!

Unrushed premium service. 3rd time we have used Cruise 118.
The agent looking after us on this occasion was Emma O’Reilly. Emma explained everything in great detail, spending the time to ensure that we understood everything. She acted on our behalf to ensure that we gained the best deal and even got an old RC credit added. That act alone took her over 30 mins dealing with RC.
A friendly, helpful, polite person who was a pleasure doing business with.
I was cancelling a cruise today because my friend was no longer able to go with me. I was lucky to get through to Madeleine who took me through the paperwork and managed to save me money I process. She was so helpful and friendly……a credit to the company.
We had to make a change to our cruise after my back problem flared up. I thought the process was going to be straight forward but NO. I was going round in circles between different people until I stumbled across Madeleine. Madeleine promised me that she would see my amendment through to the end which she did. She is a star, make no mistake.

Magnificent staff at cruise 118
Guys just wanted to relay the wonderful service that I have received from Cruise 118 once again. Phil Davies and Lindsey Wright are a credit to your company. I have booked numerous cruises with Phil and his expertise and professionalism always ensure we are never disappointed when we book. We had the pleasure of booking with Lindsay on this occasion and can confirm that our experience was every bit as straightforward as it always is with Phil. Again nothing is ever a problem with these guys and Lindsay’s attitude of whatever you need we will sort is definitely refreshing in this day and age where a lot of other companies use what problems the world is facing as an excuse. I finish by saying in all the years I have used Cruise 118 I have never had an issue and I keep going back due the level of service provided by the lovely staff. Thank you.

Frustrating service from cruise118 Been trying to amend my booking for at least 3 weeks been promised a call twice now still waiting hanging off booking my flights now they have increased in price Will cancell now had enough! Will now loose my deposit Will use another cruise company STILL WAITING ON ANY COROSPONANCE nothing even to say we're dealing with it absolutely incompetent if I treated my customers like this I would be bankrupt 4/7/22 I had to phone again at the weekend eventually spoke to someone had an email today if I wanted to use my deposit I had to get to London stay overnight in a hotel fly to Barcelona then cruise and do the return trip I've got a perfectly good airport 10 mins from my home in Edinburgh, if I want to do cruise only I will forfeit my deposit they blame all this on NCL This is not some small company new on the market this is a global holdings company which has sixstarcruises and river cruises look it up

Wonderful Flight Team Member Helen
Had initial trouble getting through as wanted to upgrade our flight for our 2023 cruise, once we reached Helen on the flight team we could not have wished for better service. Helen was totally knowledgeable and got us the best flight price and times by exhausting every possibility, she also secured a Vegas hotel for the end of the cruise at an amazing price. I hope 118 appreciates this great member of staff.

Impossible to get a response
Have tried 4 phone numbers hanging on for ages. Chatline does not work. No reply to recent emails sent. Will cancel our booking and go elsewhere. in previous years they were very efficient.

After a 2 1/2 year wait we’re finally…
After a 2 1/2 year wait we’re finally setting off to Venice for our Med cruise with Royal Caribbean. I have huge admiration for how C118 have dealt with all the admin & comma throughout. I must hold out Madeleine as being particularly helpful this week in helping us to sort out a problem with RC’s ticket/transfer glitches. This is the 3rd time we have used C118 & I certainly have confidence in them - the last 2 years have been difficult for the cruise sector & good agents are essential in managing the stress which undoubtedly has been present.

Elaine (sorry I didn’t get your surname) in the after sales department is amazing! She sorted out an issue I had with Royal Caribbean when no one else could. She called back when she said she would and was so efficient. Fantastic Elaine you’re a star ⭐️
More staff needed to answer calls after booking!!
It took a long time to get through to Cruise 118 on the phone once we had booked our cruise, which was very frustrating. However, we found Madeleine Clegg very helpful every time we spoke to her or emailed her. She always rang us back when she said she would and did as much as she could to assist us, so we couldn't fault her at all. On the whole, Cruise 118 were pretty good, however, we were extremely annoyed at having been told we would be on an 11.15 a.m flight home, until 10 days before when it was changed to 8.30 p.m, meaning a 12 hour wait after disembarking the ship!

Problem solved very efficiently
All went well until the week before we were due to sail. We had free car parking at Southampton with P&O cruises, but had no information. We rang and spoke to Madeleine Clegg on customer services, who sorted it all out for us. Very good service .
Helpful and sympathetic new recruit
Madeleine was very understanding and helpful. We had spent ages completing the claim form for NCL to try and get reimbursed for Easyjet cancelling our flight and us missing the cruise. It looked like the form hadn't been received. She kindly offered to complete the form for us after emailing her all the information. We wish her every success in her future with your company.

Excellent customer experience!
We used Cruise118 to book a cruise on Celebrity. The lead passenger who originally booked the cruise had to back out and passed the lead passenger role to me. He told me to contact Rachel Halliwell and mentioned that she had been excellent to work with. I contacted Rachel regarding some changes we wanted to make to our reservation. She was indeed excellent. She worked through a number of requests for us, efficiently and effectively. She always got back to us promptly and clearly explained our options and the associated costs. She was very pleasant to work with. We’ll ask for her when we go on our next cruise!

Truly exceptional customer service from Elizabeth! Unfortunately, we had to make a few last-minute changes due to personal circumstances. Elizabeth was a God-send. She listened, took full ownership of our concerns, and resolved the problem within record time. We will definately be using 118cruise for all our future cruises. (Had we booked directly with the cruise line, I don't think we would have the same result.)

A wonderful booking experience with Hayley
I had the pleasure in chatting online and then speaking with Hayley Ives to book. Hayley made the whole process simple and answered all my questions. Cruise118 - beware. Pls be alert and aware when dealing with Cruis118 company. If you buy any services from them pls ensure that everything is itemised on the receipt. I had a bad experience with them. I paid for gratuties up-front which they should have passed on to the cruise company which they did not.
All the staff that handled my booking - Sian, Ellie and Paul were professionally friendly and helpful. We also use a different company that's a little more expensive. We booked a cruise nearly 2 years ago for June 2024. The prices dropped by 35% and Cruise118 wouldn't acknowledge this. Usually companies will at least call the cruise company and get you onboard spend.

Summary. I would happily recommend Cruise118 to anyone looking to book a cruise. The customer service is excellent and the prices are very competitive, assisted by the 'best price guarantee'. The Cruise118 website doesn't display every cruise package that you can book, and it doesn't always display the family prices.
