⭐️ RATING:  5/5 Stars | ⏳  TOUR LENGTH:  13.5 hours | ✅   Book it!

Northern Ireland absolutely should not be missed on your Ireland adventure, and this bus tour is a great way of experiencing its highlights. This 13-hour day tour sets off from Dublin and will start by taking you on a 2-hour drive to Belfast.

Here, you’ll jump into a black cab for a Belfast tour led by a guide who grew up in this city during the ‘troubles’ (the Northern Ireland conflict).

The tour will take you through the neighborhoods that were at the heart of the conflict, as well as the famous peace wall, and along the way, you’ll listen to tales of this city’s bloody past.

There is the option to swap the black cab tour for a visit to the Titanic Dock and Pump House, the site where the ship was constructed before beginning its tragic journey.

The Titanic Experience, situated next door, is a fantastic museum containing artifacts from the ill-fated ship, as well as many interactive exhibitions.

Next, you’ll head to the UNESCO World Heritage sight of the Giants Causeway. This natural wonder is a true sight to behold, and learning about the mythology surrounding the causeway is fascinating.

Test your bravery by crossing the nearby Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, suspended 100 feet over the fierce Irish Sea.

All admission costs are included in this trip, and the onboard guides are informative and will keep you entertained throughout the day.

The Wild Atlantic Way is a popular trail covering the entire east coast of Ireland, taking in some of the country’s most breathtaking scenery. The road is windy in many parts, and conditions can be treacherous, thanks to Ireland’s unpredictable weather.

This means that driving the Wild Atlantic Way as a self-guided trip can be a stressful experience, and you’re likely to spend more time looking at maps than appreciating the magnificent views.

There are many Ireland tour packages that cover this route, and a bus tour of the area means all hassle is removed – instead, you can sit back and take in the epic beauty in comfort.

The Cliffs of Moher Tour takes you through the most scenic spots along the Wild Atlantic Way, and you’re given free time to explore the magnificent cliffs at your own pace.

The trip also makes a stop at Burren National Park, famed for its thousands of archaeological sites and rocky landscapes.

Your final stop will be Galway City, where you’ll enjoy a 30-minute introductory tour before spending a few hours exploring this waterfront paradise on your own accord.

Wandering around Galway’s brightly colored buildings and sampling fresh local cuisine is an experience not to be missed!

The day trip lasts for around 13 hours, and your local guide will share their knowledge of the Irish countryside as you pass each stop.

There’s even Wi-Fi on board the coach, so you can keep your Instagram followers updated with all the incredible things you see throughout the day.

⭐️ RATING:  5/5 Stars | ⏳  TOUR LENGTH:  10 hours | ✅   Book it!

This bus tour will take you on a journey exploring Ireland’s mythical folklore and stunning medieval architecture. You’ll start at Kilkenny Castle, an 800-year-old Castle founded soon after the Norman occupation of Ireland.

After spending time exploring this remarkable site, you’ll head to a working sheep farm where you’ll watch sheepdog trials and learn how these dogs heard the farm’s animals.

Getting an opportunity to visit a working Irish farm isn’t part of the usual tourist trail, and this is just one of the things that makes this bus tour a great choice.

After this, you’ll drive through one of the highest mountain passes in Ireland – the Wicklow Gap. This road is nestled between rugged green hills, and the scenery is breathtaking. Make sure to pack your camera!

This area was used as a filming location for ‘Braveheart’ and ‘P.S. I love you’; it’s one of the most stunning spots in Ireland.

The nearby Wicklow Mountains National Park is your next stop, and here, you’ll enjoy a two-hour guided walk that takes in impressive views across the dramatic mountain range.

From here, you’ll head to the Glendalough Monastic Settlement. This early Christian settlement was founded in the 6th century, and your guide will walk you through the church ruins and ancient graveyards while recounting folklore tales.

The mystical energy in this place makes it a truly special environment to explore.

This 10-hour day trip is one of the best Ireland bus tours from Dublin for anyone interested in delving into Ireland’s mystical history while also soaking up some of the country’s best natural wonders.

Small-Group Wicklow, Powerscourt, and Glendalough Day Tour from Dublin

Large estate with a gravel walkway stretched across the front and a large grassy area

⭐️ RATING:  4.5/5 Stars | ⏳  TOUR LENGTH:  8 hours | ✅   Book it!

One of the downsides to bus tours is that traveling in a large group can come with downsides.

Larger queues for attractions, not being able to ask your guide all your questions, and people getting in the way of your pictures – these are all things that sometimes happen in a large group.

This Ireland bus tour from Dublin is the perfect trip if you’re worried about these problems. With a guaranteed maximum of 16 people, this is a great way of experiencing all the perks of bus tour travel without any of the downsides.

You’ll have plenty of exploration time at each spot, making it the perfect tour for the more independent traveler.

This 8-hour trip starts and ends in Dublin and makes seven stops. Your first stop is the Molly Malone statue, and then you’ll drive to Powerscourt House and Gardens. These gardens are voted 3rd best gardens in the world by National Geographic!

Next, you’ll head to the charming Enniskerry Village Square. Traveling as part of a small group means you get to visit more local attractions, and Enniskerry Village Square is somewhere that larger group tours don’t tend to visit.

Next, you’ll spend an hour driving through the Wicklow Mountains National Park, stopping at all the noteworthy points along the way, such as the Guinness estate and Sally Gap.

You’ll visit the bridge used for filming in P.S. I Love You before heading to the beautiful Lough Tay, also known as Guinness Lake. Guinness Lake is where the series ‘Vikings’ was created, and the view over the lake is one of Ireland’s most spectacular.

Finally, you’ll head to the Glendalough Monastic Settlement, where you’ll have time to explore the beautiful valley and all its ruins.

This is an excellent Ireland bus tour from Dublin as you get to escape the city for a few hours and explore rural Ireland without having to spend too much time on the road – all of the stops are relatively close to one another.

Here, you’ll hear stories of life aboard the Titanic and learn about the people who made her – in the very place you stand.

Following this, you’ll head to the 500-year-old Dun Luce Castle. This iconic castle is located on a cliff edge, towering high above the wild Atlantic Ocean – making it one of the most dramatic views in the country.

It was used as a filming location in Game of Thrones, and fans of the show will recognize it instantly.

Your final stop will be at the Giant’s Causeway, one of Ireland’s most famous landmarks. You’ll have 2 hours to explore this magical site before returning to Dublin.

All entry admissions are included in this bus tour, making it a very convenient day out. The day trip is 13 hours long and suitable for all age groups.

⭐️ RATING:  4.5/5 Stars | ⏳  TOUR LENGTH:  10 hours | ✅   Book it!

A quarter of the country can be viewed atop this hill on a clear day – it’s a pretty special place.

Next up is Trim, an Anglo-Norman castle that is the largest of its type in Ireland. Admission here is included, and your guide will teach you all about the history and significance of the castle.

It has been remarkably well preserved and is surrounded by stunning scenery, and you’ll spend an hour taking it in in all its glory.

Following this, you’ll go to Loughcrew Cairns, a passage of 5000 Neolithic burial tombs which are filled with ancient rock art.

The next stop is the nearby Fore Abbey, a fascinating area home to 7 wonders – the monastery in the bog, the mill without a race, the water that flows uphill, the tree that has three branches/the tree that won’t burn, the water that won’t boil, the anchorite in a stone and the stone raised by St Fechin’s prayers. Pretty impressive!

This is a fantastic day out, offering the chance to delve into ancient Ireland without spending the night away from the city.

⭐️ RATING:  4.5/5 Stars | ⏳  TOUR LENGTH:  12 hours | ✅   Book it!

This is a great bus tour from Dublin that explores the highlights of County Cork and County Tipperary.

The first stop is the Rock of Cashel, famous as one of Ireland’s most important historical sites. This cluster of medieval buildings is home to a vast collection of Celtic artwork, and its medieval architecture is renowned as some of the best in Europe.

The buildings perch atop a hill and overlook quintessentially Irish rolling green hills. You’ll have an hour to spend here, and admission is included in the ticket.

Next, you’ll have an hour and a half to explore the city of Cork. There is no guided tour here, so you can spend your time as you please, and you certainly won’t struggle to find things to do in Cork!

The buzzing city contains a truly vibrant Irish atmosphere and is a foodie’s paradise.

After your time in Cork, the next stop is the famous Blarney Castle. This beautiful castle is famous in Irish legend – the Irish have been kissing the Blarney Stone for centuries, and it’s believed that by kissing the stone, you’ll receive the ‘gift of the gab’… otherwise known as seven years of eloquent speech. Maybe there’s some truth in it – the Irish are great storytellers!

This 12-hour tour is a must for history lovers, as it journeys around some of Ireland’s most impressive historical landmarks.

Dublin: Cliffs of Moher, Kilmacduagh Abbey, Wild Atlantic Way, and Galway

⭐️ RATING:  5/5 Stars | ⏳  TOUR LENGTH:  5 hours | ✅   Book it!

Ireland is famous for its pubs, and for good reason – you’d be hard-pressed to find a country with more charming and atmospheric watering holes.

The best way to experience Ireland’s pubs is by visiting with a local. This Ireland bus tour from Dublin is hosted by a local guide, meaning you can do just that!

The best part is that you don’t have to worry about being the designated driver as you’re on a bus tour! This trip is a fantastic way to experience Dublin’s pubs.

The places you’ll visit are real local pubs, rather than the touristy ones you’re likely to find in the city center. Each pub is located in a scenic mountain setting, and you can expect to find live traditional music at each spot.

The Irish are an incredibly friendly and welcoming bunch, so expect to meet some fantastic people and enjoy brilliant conversation along the way.

Dublin Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour

⭐️ RATING:  4.5/5 Stars | ⏳  TOUR LENGTH:  1 hour 45 minutes | ✅   Book it!

If you’re a seasoned city-hopper, you’ll be no stranger to seeing Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tours. These cheery red double-decker buses can be found in most cities around the world, and they’re an excellent way to see all the sights and learn along the way.

Dublin has multiple tour providers offering Hop-On and Hop-Off tickets, each of which allows you to explore the city at your own pace.

On board, you’ll receive an audio guide with an informative commentary of each sight you pass, along with interesting facts about the city.

These buses all follow a similar route around Dublin’s most popular attractions, including everything from the iconic National Gallery to the world-renowned Temple Bar.

Your ticket is usually valid for 24 hours and allows you to get off at each site you want to explore and skip the ones you aren’t interested in.

Many of the tour providers (such as Big Bus Dublin) also include a free walking tour within the ticket, led by a local historian who takes you to some of the lesser-known sites in areas the bus can’t reach.

This bus tour is the perfect way to get the most out of the city without the additional expense and stress of navigating transport yourself.

Along the way to visit filming locations from the series, you’ll stop at some of Northern Ireland’s most scenic locations, like Tollymore Forest Park and Strangford Lough.

Then, you’ll arrive at Old Castle Ward, which was the location of Winterfell in series 1. The tour is led by guides who were extras in the series, and they’ll lead you on a walking tour of areas like Walder Frey’s Twins and Robb Stark’s camp in the Riverlands.

The guides will share tales of their experience during filming, and you’ll even get to watch special behind-the-scenes footage on tablets. The final stop is Inch Abbey, the 12th-century ruins where Robb Stark became king in the North.

From there it takes you through some of the history of Guinness as a brand, including the legendary advertising that has led to the famous phrases of “my goodness, my Guinness!” and “a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle”.

Once the tour has given you a sufficient appreciation for Guinness as a brand, you’ll finally get to taste the black stuff. No ordinary tasting session, this multi-sensory experience includes a series of smell tests and even a room with the perfect décor for tasting the world-famous drink. As you’d expect, this pint lives up to its reputation as the best pint of Guinness in the world.

The tour ends in the famous Storehouse bar, which has spectacular views overlooking Dublin, coupled with helpful markings on the windows to help you identify the landmarks and get your bearings around the city.

A fantastic way to start your journey in Dublin, the Guinness Storehouse tour gives you a chance to taste an integral part of the city, as well as see it spread out in front of you from a beautiful vantage point.

Trinity Tour

Located right at the heart of the city, a tour of Trinity College’s beautiful campus can be nestled perfectly between any other activities you may want to do. Boasting gorgeous architecture and the picturesque archway, Trinity College really is one of the most stunning places to wander around in Dublin.

The tour guides are usually students, so their knowledge of the campus and its secrets are unparalleled. Included in some of the tour packages is the amazing Long Library, on which the library in Star Wars is based. It also holds the amazing Book of Kells – with calligraphy, illustrations, and an odd poem about a cat in the margin, this is one of the oldest and most beautiful editions of the New Testament in existence.

A bonus feature, if you can find it, is the amazing display of deer and doe skeletons in the Museum Building. The bones of these massive animals are displayed right through the main doors to the building.

A little slice of classical beauty in the urban sprawl, Trinity College is one of the most beautiful colleges in Dublin, and shares in the city’s rich history.

Viking Splash Tour

Viking Splash tours provide a unique and fun way to get a tour of the city. Unlike your traditional city tours, Viking Splash Tours show you the sites and scenes of the beautiful city in the back of a World War Two amphibious vehicle.

Starting out over land, the tour takes you all around the city, allowing you to give your best Viking roar to unsuspecting passers-by, before plunging into the River Liffey.

Dublin’s national museums & galleries

Dublin has a great collection of Galleries and Museums: at least some of which you should definitely try and see. Indeed, one of the best features about Dublin’s national galleries and museums is that most are free for general entry.

Our recommendations is the Natural History Museum, where you can see the eerily well preserved bog bodies and the National Gallery of Ireland, featuring a newly refurbished gallery and one of the best classical art collections in Europe.

Find a great local pub

Dublin (and Ireland in general) is stereotypically famous for its pubs. James Joyce famously said that it would be a great puzzle to try and “cross Dublin without passing a pub” and the challenge only gets harder and harder. There are enough pubs in Dublin to satisfy any and all features you could want in a pub.

Our recommendation is P Macs, off George’s Street. Featuring a cosy environment where you can sink into an amazingly comfy couch or, just as easily, be using a piano as your table, P Macs has a wide variety of craft beers from all over the world for you to sample and enjoy. If you are stuck you could ask the very knowledgeable and friendly staff and they will provide you with a personalised recommendation based on what other drinks you like.

As if that wasn’t enough to keep you entertained, there are a good number of classic board games to keep you and your friends happy and competitive all night long.

The countdown is on to Taylor Swift's highly-anticipated series of Dublin gigs, with just over a day to go before the Shake It Off singer takes to the stage at the Aviva Stadium .

The pop superstar is set to perform across three nights - Friday, June 28, Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30 - with more than 150,000 Swifties expected to attend the three sold-out gigs.

The Bad Blood songstress has taken the world by storm with her Eras Tour world tour , breaking ticket sale records and stadium records across the world.

For each show, Swift has been hosting 'early merch' stores for fans to buy official Eras Tour merchandise before the gigs and Irish Swifties can now finally get their hands on some products.

For those looking for official Eras Tour merchandise, the 3Arena in Dublin's North Wall Quay - which is roughly a 30-minute walk away from the Aviva - will be hosting the pop-up merch sale from 10am until 8pm from Thursday until Sunday.

Taylor Swift merchandise information

Taylor Swift Eras Tour merch on sale in the pop-up store includes hoodies, crewneck jumpers, t-shirts, bracelets, a tote bag, water bottles and posters.

Although prices for the Dublin early merch store have yet to be confirmed, based off the UK prices of merch, a zip jumper and crew neck is expected to cost around €75, while bracelets will be priced at around €35. Fans heading to the early merch store can also get their hands on tote bags (€30), water bottles (€17), hoodies cost (€80) and t-shirts (€45).

There's good news for fans who missed out on tickets to see Swift perform at the Aviva Stadium as you do not need to have a ticket to the Eras Tour to buy merch, and anyone is able to buy official Taylor Swift merch during days of sale.

Those heading along to the 3Arena might also want to take note that the merch store is card-only. The Luas is typically the fastest way to get to the 3Arena via public transport from the city.

If you're travelling by train to Dublin, simply board the Luas Red Line to The Point stop from either Connolly or Heuston Station. This will take you straight to the doors of the 3Arena.

There are also several bus routes that take you close to the 3Arena, including the 151, which leaves you closest to the venue. The service runs every 10 minutes at rush hour.

If you are taking this route, get off at Castleforbes Road, the closest stop to the venue, which is just a two-minute walk from the 3Arena.

comscore

Does the ‘Taylor Swift lift’ really add up to €150m for Dublin?

Swifties may be happy to splurge on the singer’s eras tour, but the reported average spend of €1,000 per person overstates the reality for most fans.

Laura Slattery's face

So long London, welcome to Dublin. Recent headlines have claimed that consumer spending prompted by Taylor Swift ’s three-night stint at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin this weekend could result in a nine-digit economic “Swift lift”. But is the American superstar really poised to give a €150 million boost to the Irish economy?

The short answer is that, while such events are surely worth more than Sweet Nothing and may leave a lingering Afterglow, only in the Wildest Dreams of Swiftonomics enthusiasts are they likely to have this kind of impact.

The widely quoted €150 million figure appears to be based on a UK study by the British bank Barclays that has attracted criticism for both oversimplifying and overstating the influence of Swift’s Eras tour.

The Barclays press release, when it was published in May, was originally titled “It’s a Love Story: Taylor Swift’s Eras tour to provide nearly £1 billion boost to UK economy”.

Hopes of a breakthrough in Aer Lingus dispute

Crucially, however, not all of the estimated spending itemised by the bank benefits the economy of the host country. A large chunk of it, notably Swift’s cut of ticket revenues and any spending on official merchandise, will flow back to the US. Even if this wasn’t the case, consumer spending estimates for specific events should not be directly translated into a national economic “boost”, as much of the total will be disposable income that Swift’s fans would have spent on other things if she had stayed at home.

[  Taylor Swift is about so much more than musical entertainment – an 18-year-old explains why  ]

[  Taylor Swift in Dublin: Ticket information, setlist, stage times and more  ]

This may explain why the Barclays release is now headlined “It’s a Love Story: Consumers to spend nearly £1 billion attending Taylor Swift’s Eras tour”. But even this is worth deeper examination. Barclays, basing its estimates on a survey of 200 people who either had Swift tickets or said they hoped to pick one up somehow, came up with an average outlay of £848 (€1,002). As about 165,000 people will attend the Dublin gigs, this would point to Swift-related Irish consumer spending of €165 million. The reality is likely to be far more modest.

The bank’s estimates included average spends per person of £206 on tickets, £121 on accommodation, £111 on transport, £79 on official merchandise, £59 on a meal beforehand, £56 on a new outfit and £216 on miscellaneous expenses, including drinks and album purchases.

But several of these estimates seem on the high side. Even the £121 figure for accommodation, though considerably lower than the price of a typical hotel room in Dublin this weekend, seems a generous average in an Irish context, given a substantial proportion of attendees will not be availing of any hotels at all.

These are the unknowns that really determine the worth of major events to an economy. How many Swifties are travelling to Dublin and staying overnight, in effect redistributing their income to the capital? How many are big-spending gig tourists flying in to see their idol perform, then hanging about afterwards, triggering multiplier effects?

“The Taylor Swift concerts are a massive boost for the city,” says Gerry Farrell, director of operations for business group Dublin Town . “City centre trade and footfall will benefit significantly. Also, an artist with Taylor’s international profile means the appeal moves beyond a purely local audience and brings fans from all over Ireland and beyond.”

Swift is not the only party in town. This weekend is a bumper one for music fans, with events in Malahide Castle, Fairview Park, Marlay Park and Trinity College. Together with the Dublin Pride Parade and the GAA senior football championship games, an estimated 600,000 people will be out and about spending money – more than enough to elicit a warning of “severe taxi shortages” from the Taxis for Ireland Coalition.

Dublin Chamber, which anticipates “a great buzz” in the city, says the events being held this weekend will allow Dublin to showcase itself to a wide audience. Its head of public affairs, Stephen Browne, mentions that the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, an American college football game held in August 2023, was subsequently calculated by Grant Thornton to have brought in €180 million to the Irish economy.

But this event is something of an outlier. More than 80 per cent of its attendees were visitors to Ireland, with almost 38,000 people lured to Dublin from the US and more than 1,000 arriving from other parts of the world. Although some US-based Swifties – perhaps foiled in their attempt to obtain a ticket for her massively oversubscribed US dates – will have successfully tried their luck when the Dublin concerts went on sale in July 2023, they are unlikely to represent the majority of fans who will Shake It Off in the Aviva.

A closer precedent may be offered by the reported €35 million “boost” to the Dublin economy that Garth Brooks apparently delivered when he did five Croke Park dates in September 2022. Out of a total of 400,000 attendees, the five nights were said by Dublin Chamber at the time to have pulled in 120,000 fans from outside the Republic, all of them spending money on travel and hospitality.

Speaking of Croke Park, the biggest influx of concertgoers to Dublin this year is still two months from now, which is when British band Coldplay will play four sold-out nights at the 80,000-plus capacity venue as part of their Music of the Spheres tour. Their gigs, and Swift’s, bookend a packed season of concerts in Dublin, guaranteeing that it will not be a Cruel Summer for the city. But when it comes to putting a precise number on it, the sensible thing to do is leave a Blank Space.

What people love about Ireland Tours from Dublin

Incredible trip. Very well planned. Helpful and accommodations where spectacular. Don't worry about luggage!
Small Bus touring is the way to go!
This tour was so good! We experienced more of Ireland than the itinerary indicated (because of stops we made along our journey, which I loved!), but never felt rushed. Our guide Diarmuid is such a professional - he provided us with interesting information about the places we stopped and Ireland in general, kept us on schedule with a relaxed demeanor, and is genuinely a very nice person. I've never traveled with a tour group before and this one couldn't have been any better. The Emerald Isle is so beautiful and everyone is so friendly that, even when there was a bit of rain, it was still fun. Many thanks to Mick and Diarmuid (the best!!) for making this a most memorable trip. PS the accommodations were fantastic - especially the breakfasts!

13 things Swifties need to know before heading to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour gigs in Dublin

bus tours from dublin to england

Are you ready for it, Swifties? You've fought the Great War for tickets and hopefully sorted out your Eras ‘fit and now it’s finally time to dance the night way in a nice dress as the Eras Tour.

Taylor Swift is set to play three nights at the Aviva following on from a run of shows across the UK and it's safe to say excitement has been building for weeks.

To make sure everything goes All Too Well (but in a good way) when you visit the Aviva on either the 28, 29, or 30 June here are 13 things you need to know about the Eras Tour gigs in Dublin.

Taylor Swift performs on stage during "Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour" in Cardiff

These are subject to change but Swifties should plan to be within the venue 45 minutes before the show starts.

The box office will open at 3pm on show days and the doors at 5pm. The show starts at 6pm with support act Paramore warming up for Taylor.

Early queuing

Fans of Taylor Swift in the vicinity of the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium

Although it’s tempting to get to the Aviva early, you cannot start early queuing or camping hours ahead of the doors opening. A limited number of early entry VIP packages were sold for this event, the Karma Is My Boyfriend Package and the It's A Love Story Package, and these ticket holders will be granted access shortly before general.

If you do turn up early, security and An Garda Síochána will be on patrol and will turn away anyone arriving early at the venue who does not have an early entry ticket.

Prohibited items

There are several items you cannot bring to the Aviva when Taylor comes to town. These include:

  • Camping/collapsible chairs/stools/garden furniture
  • Glass, cans, hard plastic or metal containers, or alcohol
  • Umbrellas, selfie sticks, flares,
  • Professional or commercial cameras / photography equipment, video cameras, gopros, audio recording devices, or tripods,
  • Extendable or attachable lenses on cameras or mobile phones

Bag policy and can you bring a charger?

Taylor Swift fans queue outside Murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh

Bags larger than A4 won’t be permitted into the venue, so try and keep what you bring with you to a minimum and avoid backpacks as you might be delayed getting in or even worse, denied entry as there’s no storage for bags on site.

A charging power bank is permitted, provided it is no bigger than your phone. You can also bring a clear, soft plastic water bottle - no larger than 500ml. There will be free water points for pitch Swifties.

Other top tips of things to bring from Swifties who have already been to the tour include suncream, lip balm, and a large camping-style clip to keep your friendship bracelets on. Earplugs might also be a good call as it's going to be a long night!

Prepare for the weather

This event will take place rain, hail or shine and as this is Ireland, come prepared for the elements.

Organisers suggest checking the weather forecast before you head out and wearing appropriate footwear - cowboy boots might look amazing with your outfit but perhaps not so great in the mud or rain.

If the sun is shining over the three gigs, think about bringing suncream so you don’t burn!

Entry points

There are a number of entry points to the stadium. You must enter through whichever gate is detailed on your ticket. For the blue route (west stand upper) enter via Shelbourne Road, for the orange route (west stand lower) use Landsdowne Lane.

The green route (south stand and main pitch standing) has entry from Landsdowne Road and the purple route (east stand) is accessible via Herbert Road / Tritonville Road.

Ticket collection

Ticketmaster box offices will be located at the junction Lansdowne Road / Northumberland Road and on Herbert Road. If you’ve bought a VIP package then Ticketmaster will contact you directly by email.

Under 16s must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian over 25. Those between 5-15 will be allowed on the pitch so long as they are accompanied

There’s nothing worse than leaving an amazing concert and facing the stress of getting home so plan ahead and bear in mind that thousands of Swifties will all be leaving the stadium at the same time.

Don’t rush the exits and make sure you know your best route home whether that’s on the train, by DART, on the bus or by car.

Extra DART services will operate before and after the concert. Landsdowne Road or Grand Canal Dock are the closest stations but it’s important to note that after the concert Grand Canal Dock station will be closed.

Dublin bus Routes 4, 7/a, 39a, 46a, 145 and 155 will operate a full service nearest the venue.

Organisers advise giving yourself an extra three hours travel time to and from the venue and strongly encourage those who can to walk up to the stadium.

Additional accessibility requirements

Swifties who bought accessible tickets will be contacted directly by the venue about parking and drop off locations.

Can you use cash?

We’re afraid not, the Aviva is a cashless venue.

Taylor's support acts

The support acts for Taylor vary throughout the tour but Irish Swifties will get to enjoy a show from rock band Paramore.

Their lead singer Hayley Williams collabed with Taylor on Castles Crumbling on Speak Now (Taylor's Version).

Is anyone else determined to get their hands on that navy sweatshirt? Taylor Swift has plenty of merch options for the Eras Tour and the stands have opened ahead of the shows in past cities.

Dublin will be following suit and opening the merch stand at 3Arena North Wall Quay on Thursday 27 June from 10am to 8pm. It'll then open again on the 28, 29, and 30 June from 10am onwards.

If you want to get ahead of the game and do a little research about what's on offer or don't fancy holding onto your new hoodie when dancing at the show, why not look online ahead of the gigs?
