BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour (stylized in all caps) was the second worldwide concert tour by BTS to promote their Wings series, including their second studio album Wings and their repackage You Never Walk Alone . The tour began on February 18, 2017 and concluded on December 10, 2017 in South Korea.

On July 16, 2017, BTS announced new tour dates under the name BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour The Final starting on December 8, 2017 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea. [1]

This tour also was the Episode III of the BTS Live Trilogy, with the BTS Begins concerts as Part I and The Red Bullet as Part II.

Tickets for the US shows sold-out within a few minutes. Due to high demand, two more shows were announced in the Prudential Center and the Honda Center. With over 60,000 fans were in attendance in concerts across Newark, Chicago, and Anaheim. The group went on to sell out their concert headlined in Chile and became the fastest K-pop group to sell out the Movistar Arena, Chile's biggest indoor arena. The press release from Big Hit Entertainment quoted Chilean promoters as saying. According to Puntoticket, the Chilean ticket sales and distribution company, the BTS show was the fastest-selling show in Chile's history, only comparable to Maroon 5’s concert in 2016, selling more than 10,000 tickets in less than 2 hours.

In Asia, it was reported that BTS had sold 20,000 tickets in Bangkok, 20,000 in Manila, 10,000 in Hong Kong, and 145,000 across 6 cities in Japan.

• On November 4, Jimin was not able to participate in certain stages in the 'Wings Tour' concert in Macau, after experiencing muscle pains in his neck and shoulders, however, he was participating in the concert sitting in a chair. This also happened to Jung Kook on the BTS World Tour: Love Yourself in London on October 9. However, unlike Jimin, Jung Kook injured his foot after he collided with floor furnishes.

On November 18, 2016, a trailer was posted onto Big Hit's YouTube channel announcing the first two Seoul dates at Gocheok Sky Dome. [1] Later, six shows across South America and the United States were confirmed.

On July 27, 2017, the group announced a series of finale concerts, titled BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour The Final , at Gocheok Sky Dome. [2] In September, additional dates at Kyocera Dome in Japan were announced. [3]

As 2017 dwindles away, <a href=”/music/ bts “>BTS</a> leaves behind not only their own biggest year ever, but the most impactful year ever in the U.S. for a Korean group. The past 12 months have been eventfully full of releases and exciting moments that propelled the boy band from a fan favorite to major American award shows and the top tiers of Billboard’ s most important charts.

Here’s a look back at some of the highlights of BTS’ year:

Jan. 1: RM (formerly known as Rap Monster)  released “Always” on Soundcloud.

Jan. 30: BTS appeared at the Idol Star Athletics Championship , an annual Lunar New Year broadcast where K-pop stars face off against one another in a variety of sporting events.

Feb. 12: Release of “Spring Day” from You Never Walk Alone , the extended re-release of 2016′ s Wings.

Feb. 19: “Not Today” is released .

Feb. 22: BTS’ Wings recognized as the top-selling Korean physical album of the fourth quarter of 2016 at Gaon Chart K-pop Awards .

March 19: RM teamed up with Wale for “Change.”

March 4: “Spring Day” appeared at No. 15 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, foreshadowing the group’s success later this year at breaking into the Hot 100.

March 17: The septet performed at the opening night of the first-ever KCON Mexico.

March 23: BTS kicked off the U.S leg of 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour at the Newark Prudential Center in New Jersey. A second show took place on the 24th. They also performed at three more shows in Chicago and Anaheim over the next week. The tour saw them head to several cities throughout Asia in April, May, June and October, and also brought them to Australia for the first time in May for a performance in Sydney.

March 29: Security was increased for BTS’ remaining American concert stops after social media threats were aimed at the band members.

April 10: The septet was revealed to be a nominee for the top social artist award at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards.

April 27: BTS surpassed Miley Cyrus and Rihanna with the third-most weeks at No. 1 on the Social Artist chart.

May 8: Announcement of BTS attending the BBMAs, the first ever for a K-pop boy band.

May 21: The septet wins the top social artist award at the 2017 BBMAs, the first Korean group to ever receive an honor at the ceremony. It was the first time a K-pop group attended a stateside award show.

June 9: RM and V share “4 O’Clock” on Soundcloud as part of BTS Festa, the band’s fourth-anniversary celebration .

June 14: Suga remakes “So Far Away” with Jin and Jungkook. The song was originally released featuring Suran on Suga’s Agust D mixtape last year.

July 4: BTS extended their branding to include “ Beyond the Scene ” as part of the band’s identity. Despite it being widely reported as an expansion of their name,  Billboard confirmed that BTS’ name in English remains BTS, an acronym for their Korean name, Bangtanseonyeondan , which translates to “Bulletproof Boy Scouts.”

July 5: The band remade Seo Taiji & Boys’ iconic “Come Back Home.”

Aug. 10: Love Yourself series announced via Twitter .

Sept. 29: JJ Ryan discussed on the Billboard Chart Beat Podcast being the one radio station in the U.S. to play “DNA.” BTS’ songs increasingly gained radio play in the country this year, due to the grassroot efforts of fans.

Oct. 2: “DNA” peaked at No. 67 on the Hot 100 chart . The previous week, it debuted at No. 85.

Oct 13-14: Amino App hosted BTS-oriented pop-up gallery in New York City. 

Oct. 17: Line Friends announced BT21 collaborative line featuring characters inspired by BTS’ artwork and creative ideas.

Oct. 31: Unicef and BTS launched Love Myself fundraising campaign.

Nov. 3: BTS confirmed upcoming performance at the AMAs, their first at an American award show.

Nov. 13: RM (Kim Namjoon) changed his stage name formally from “Rap Monster” to the acronym RM.

Nov. 15: BTS appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! While in Los Angeles, the group held a mini-concert for fans, and performances from that show were later aired on Live the following week. They also appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Nov. 19: The group performed “DNA” at the AMAs .

Nov. 23: BTS teamed up with Steve Aoki and Desiigner for “ Mic Drop (Remix) .” It went on to become BTS’ most successful song in the United States.

Nov. 28: “Mic Drop (Remix)” debuted at No. 28 on the Hot 100.

Dec. 6: BTS released “Snow Crystal” in Japan along with Japanese versions of “Mic Drop (Remix)” and “DNA.” It went on to become the first song by a non-Japanese artist to ever exceed 300,000 points on Japan’s Oricon Weekly Single Chart.

Dec. 7: The Seoul tourism site crashed after fans descend on it to download BTS’ promotional track “With Seoul.”

Dec. 11: BTS appeared at No. 10 of the Billboard Year-End Artists of the Year chart.

Dec. 12: BTS confirmed rumors that they will perform on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest.

Dec. 15: Fall Out Boy teamed up with RM for “Champion” remix .

Dec. 16: BT21 brought thousands of fans out to the opening launches of the product line in Seoul and New York City.

Dec. 17: Bloomberg reports that BTS’ label, Big Hit Entertainment, is contemplating going public .

Dec. 31: A performance by BTS will air throughout the United States as part of New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

BTS Announces 2017 World Tour Including 2 U.S. Arena Dates

Update (12/16): Both U.S. dates of  BTS ' 2017 world tour were sold out in minutes and two more dates were added. 

Ticket prices for the new shows in Newark, NJ and Anaheim, CA range from $50 to $250 and will go on sale Saturday, Dec. 17, at 11a.m. local time. See below for an updated list of tour dates for BTS and more information about the tour.

BTS 2017 world tour list released

Finally, the wait is over, Armies. Big Hit Entertainment, BTS' agency, just released the official list of countries and cities where BTS will have their world tour for 2017. The official list of The Wings Tour: 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III  have seven dates.

The world tour will cover concerts in South Korea and in some countries in North and South America. As posted by Fuse TV , the concert will kick of in February in Seoul which will end in April in Aneheim. BTS will also hold a concert in the prestigious Prudential Center in New Jersey where several big names in the hallyu world have their concerts before. Some of these are groups like YG Entertainment's 2NE1 and BIGBANG, and SM Entertainment's EXO.

Although there was no final ticket prices yet, BTS' agency has released the dates. So, mark your calendars:

February 18-19 - Seoul, Korea (Gocheok Skydome) March 12 - Santiago, Chile (Movistar Arena)  March 19-20 - Sao Paolo, Brazil (Citibank Hall)  March 24 - Newark, NJ (Prudential Center)  April 1 - Anaheim, CA (Honda Center)

As reported by Koreaboo , this would be BTS' first time to tour around South America, so the boys of BTS can't wait to see their fans there. Big Hit Entertainment also stated that more dates will also be added aside from the initial seven dates included in the official poster. Fans from other countries can have something to look forward to.

Although BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, is just three years old, their career is on its hype especially this 2016 where they had several hits that garnered awards from various charts in and outside South Korea. They also had several iconic achievements this year such as being recognized by Forbes magazine as the "most retweeted artist on Twitter" which garnered them an official Twitter emoji.

‘Tis the season of looking back and realizing that OMG yes, things really happened this year, time flies, and we’re getting old. This goes for many things, K-pop being no exception. Whether you’re a fan of BTS or not, you’ll probably agree on the fact that a lot of stuff happened for them in 2017. While the group did have nationwide and global success for years, the events of 2017 were truly a new chapter in the boys’ rise to worldwide fame, considering their follower count and MV views, their success in media around the globe, or just their overall sales. Let’s look into what made BTS’s year so special, successful, and entertaining to follow – the best moments of BTS in 2017. Here we go!

1. The new albums

Probably the most obvious choice for a music group, but also the most important – the release of their repackaged album “You Never Walk Alone” in February, and of course the most recent album “Love Yourself: Her” are the epicenter of BTS’ success in 2017. With the lead singles being “Spring Day,” “Not Today,” “DNA,” and the remix version of “MIC Drop” featuring Steve Aoki, it’s obvious how hard the group has worked for this year’s comebacks. Fans, too, were trying to handle the many releases and teasers – on the verge of a mental breakdown, waiting for midnight releases, teaser images, and generally anything Big Hit might throw their way.

2. Their concerts and performances

Some of the suffering A.R.M.Ys were lucky enough to actually be able to go to a BTS concert. 550,000 lucky fans in 40 performances and 19 countries, to put that into numbers. And that’s only the concerts during the “Wings” world tour. For the first time, BTS held a dome concert in Japan, to which the members refer to as one of the most memorable moments of 2017. If you wanna see how much performing live means to the boys, just watch the talking segment of their final concert in Seoul. It puts their efforts and passion for what they do in a new perspective, as the speech moments of concerts have an emotional sentiment that no interview can compare to. Pro tip: prepare tissues .

3. The awards and success

With “Dope,” “Fire,” “Blood Sweat & Tears,” and “DNA,” BTS currently has four MVs with more than 200 Million views. Their Twitter just reached 11 million followers and seven million users are following them on V Live. Their success also shows in many award shows, having won three Daesangs for their work this year at the Melon Music Awards and Mnet Asian Music Awards combined. And music charts around the world are basically like their second home. But, seeing as several members mentioned this in their “2018 Season’s Greetings,” when asked about their favorite moment of 2017, their “Top Social Artist Award” at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards truly is something very special to them. Not only were they the first K-pop group to be nominated for an award at the BBMAs, but they also won the thing. That plus “Mic Drop” debuting at 28th place on Billboard’s Hot 100 – they have every right to be proud.

4. Their time in the United States

BTS has been visiting the United States very frequently this year. There was the “Wings” tour, “Bon Voyage Season 2,” the BBMAs, and of course the AMAs. While visiting for the AMAs and making their U.S. TV debut with their performance, they also did interviews with TV shows such as “ Jimmy Kimmel Live! ,” “ The Ellen DeGeneres Show ,” “ The Late Late Show With James Corden ,” and “KTLA 5 Morning News.” Of course they also did a lot (like, A LOT!) of interviews with different radio shows and news outlets, producing both informative and hilarious content . The important thing about all of this is the result of their activities – the U.S. is pretty much stunned by BTS and requests for collabs have been basically raining from the sky. But that’s not all – they also got to visit Hawaii, where they always wanted to go, which made both the boys and A.R.M.Y, who got to watch a new season of “Bon Voyage” very happy. All win-win.

5. The launch of UNICEF “Love Myself” campaign

BTS and Big Hit Entertainment have made a donation to help victims of the Sewol ferry tragedy this year, and contributed items to sell at the WeAja Charity Flea Market. But their most important action for a good cause is the launch of the “ Love Myself ” campaign with UNICEF, aspiring to stop violence against children and teens worldwide. The campaign is revolving around a fund, which is being raised by different forms of donations. It shows that both BTS and Big Hit are aware that they have a certain influence over a lot of people following them, and most importantly that they decided to use this social power for a good cause.

6. The solo tracks, covers, and collabs

Beyond their albums and official promotions, BTS continues to work on music, which results in amazing solo songs, covers, or collabs with other artists. RM released “ Always ,” “ Change ” featuring Wale, was featured on Gaeko’s “ Gajah ,” and recorded “ 4 O’Clock ” with fellow member V. But he wasn’t the only busy member.

Tae and Jin sang the song “ Even If I Die, It’s You ” for the OST of “ Hwarang ,” JK covered “ Beautiful ” from the “ Goblin ” OST, and of course sang a magical cover of “ We Don’t Talk Anymore ,” which he later remade with Jimin – not to forget this year’s birthday cover song, “ 2U .” Suga was also quite busy, re-recording his song “ So Far Away ” with Jin and JK, and of course producing Suran’s “Wine,” which later won the “Hot Trend Award” at the 2017 Melon Music Awards.

Skipping “Mic Drop” and “Best Of Me” for this category (because those were part of their promotions), the last song to mention here is “ Come Back Home ,” originally by Seo Taiji, who celebrated his 25th anniversary this year. We’re aware this is a lot of text, but make sure to check out all the songs, you won’t regret it!

7. The TV shows

Jin mentioned that he wanted to do variety shows in 2017, and his wish came true. The boys (or at least some of the members) were guests on “ King of Masked Singer ,” “ Law of the Jungle ,” “Hello Counselor,” “Ask Us Anything,” “Please Take Care Of My Refrigerator,” and “Let’s Eat Dinner Together” – and that’s just some of them.

For their comeback, they had special shows like the “ Mnet BTS Comeback Show ” and “ BTS Countdown, ” but there’s just something about variety shows that’s especially fun to watch, as the viewers get to see the boys interacting with other celebrities while being thrown into a new environment.

8. The video content

Following the activities of BTS probably wouldn’t be as much fun if we didn’t get to watch them in shows and videos. The really juicy stuff is delivered on the boys’ V Live and YouTube channels. 2017 would be lacking without “BTS Gayo,” “Run BTS! 2017,” “EAT Jin,” “BTS Home Party,” and of course “Bon Voyage” season two, but that’s still not all of it! The “Bangtan Bombs,” the annual DVD specials, and of course there are also the hundreds of streams and videos that BTS produce and release just to communicate with fans. Just trying to imagine the effort behind all of these things makes our heads spin.

9. Their individual and personal achievements

Oh you thought they were done after producing all of the above? Nope. Still not done. Tae’s acting debut in “Hwarang” alongside Park Seo Joon , Go Ara , Park Hyung Sik , Choi Minho , Do Ji Han , and many others, was a great success. It started airing in December 2016, but went on until February 2017, so it belongs in this list.

Also in February, Jungkook graduated High School, which graced us with touching videos of his graduation celebrations and of course the reenacted picture of Kookie’s first day at the School of Performing Arts Seoul, all complete with the yellow uniform and all the members sitting around the same table in the same restaurant. We’re pretty sure the boys had similar celebrations when Jin graduated University this year and entered grad school at Hanyang Cyber University. They did this while promoting as BTS. Let these boys be your inspiration to work hard.

10. Glimpses of private life

Over the first few months of 2017, BTS shared their personal playlists with us via Spotify.  As music is rather important for an artist as a potential source of inspiration, that’s a pretty big piece of private life right there. They also let us in on some of their private trips, like V and Park Bo Gum’s trip to Jeju Island , JK and Jimin’s trip to Japan , or RM’s vacation in Europe . It’s good to see that, even if it’s rare, the boys can still enjoy some time on their own.

One big change regarding their private life in 2017 is moving to a new dorm. In this context, “dorm” stands for luxury apartment in one of the most expensive neighborhoods of Korea, which means every member probably has enough space and privacy to live a comfortable life.

BTS as artists and people are evolving at a crazily fast pace. K-pop is growing bigger and bigger and nothing stays the same – BTS has a new light stick , a new logo , and Rapmon is no longer Rapmon but RM . So if you’re in on this – hold on tight and enjoy the ride, because, as RM puts it, “World is gonna change.” And we’re pretty sure that goes for 2018, too.

BTS announces '2024 Bang Bang Con' to stream classic performances

BTS will be taking a nostalgic trip down memory lane through ' 2024 Bang Bang Con ,' an event that allows fans to relive their past concerts.

On the 4th, BTS posted the main poster for ' BTS ONLINE CONCERT WEEKEND, aka '2024 Bang Bang Con ,' on their official social media channels. 'Bang Bang Con' is a festival where fans can watch BTS's previous concert performances for free.

According to the released poster, '2024 Bang Bang Con' will feature three significant concerts: ' 2014 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE II THE RED BULLET ,' ' 2017 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE III THE WINGS TOUR THE FINAL ,' and ' 2019 BTS WORLD TOUR LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF THE FINAL .'

The '2014 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE II THE RED BULLET,' held at YES24 Live Hall (formerly AX Korea) in Seoul, was BTS's first solo concert just 1 year and 4 months after their debut. They performed for three days, meeting about 5,000 fans and showcasing songs like 'No More Dream,' 'N.O,' and 'We Are Bulletproof Pt.1.'

Next up is '2017 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE III THE WINGS TOUR THE FINAL,' held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. During the 'WINGS TOUR,' BTS sold out 40 shows in 19 cities, drawing a total of 550,000 attendees. The tour featured individual stages that highlighted each member's unique personality, along with performances of hit songs like ' FIRE ,' ' DNA ,' and ' Spring Day ,' capturing the hearts of fans worldwide.

The '2019 BTS WORLD TOUR LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF THE FINAL,' held at the Olympic Stadium in Jamsil Sports Complex, Seoul, marked the grand finale of their stadium tour. BTS performed 62 shows in 24 cities, engaging with over 2.06 million fans. This tour included groundbreaking achievements, such as being the first Korean artist to hold a solo concert at Wembley Stadium in the UK and being the first foreign artist to perform at a stadium in Saudi Arabia, setting new milestones in concert history.

The highlights of BTS's concerts from 2014 to 2019 and their growth alongside ARMY (BTS's fandom) will be key viewing points of '2024 Bang Bang Con.' The event will be available on BTS's official YouTube channel, BANGTANTV, starting at noon on the 8th.

BTS FESTA 2024's BangBangCon: Livestream date, where to watch, time, what to expect and more details

BTS would be celebrating their 11th debut anniversary on June 13th. As a part of the event, their annual concert BangBangCon will also be taking place. Here are the details.

BTS' BangBangCon is an annual concert which takes place to mark the group's anniversary each year. Since the members are currently fulfilling their military services, the concert this year will be following a different format than last year. Earlier this week, the details regarding the upcoming fan concert were announced. Since BTS would not be able to perform live this year, their classic concerts would be streamed. Here is everything you need to know.

The concert is scheduled to stream at 12 pm KST which is 8:30 am IST.

The three concerts will be panning through the significant timelines in BTS' history. The three important ears of BTS music will be covered through the concerts. 

BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE II THE RED BULLET took place back in 2014 and marked BTS' first solo concert as a group. It took place at the YES24 Live Hall (formerly AX Korea) in Seoul and marked the group's new beginnings. The concert happened within a year and four months after the group's debut. BTS performed their debut songs like We Are Bulletproof Pt. 2, No More Dreams, N.O. and more as the concert went on for three days. 

In 2017, BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE III THE WINGS TOUR THE FINAL took place. The concert was a part of their Wings Tour and was held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. This was a successful tour for the group as they performed 40 shows in 19 cities. This was also the period when BTS was gaining global fame and placing their footings with appearances on Billboard Music Awards and hit songs like DNA. The tour was attended by 5,50,000 fans worldwide. Additionally, this concert also focused on the members' individual themes and performances. 

BTS WORLD TOUR LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF THE FINAL in 2019 was the last concert for their stadium world tour and was held at the Olympic Stadium in Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul. The group performed 62 shows in 24 cities. This tour was a big achievement for BTS as they became the first K-pop artists to hold a solo concert UK' at Wembley Stadium and first foreign artists to perform at a stadium in Saudi Arabia. The tour drew a crowd of 2 0,60,00 fans.

Jin will be attending a meet and greet session for BTS FESTA 2024 . Their agency stated that the event would take place to fulfil Jin’s wish to spend meaningful time with ARMY in person on  BTS’ debut day.  The schedule of the FESTA was revealed on May 31. Various activities, releases and events are planned leading up to their anniversary on June 13. 

As a part of the event, Jungkook released his track Never Let Go.

The nostalgia of BTS Bang Bang Con is back. Bangtan Boys confirmed the date and airtime of the 2024 edition of Bang Bang Con. This year, fans will relive three past BTS concerts through the BTS Festa celebration.

Meanwhile, BTS ARMY is also gearing up for Jungkook’s new song release, “Never Let Go,” which will drop on June 7 at 1 p.m. KST and 12 a.m. ET. The song will be released globally on all major music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and the iTunes Store.

As per  BigHit Music , the new song is a “heartfelt tribute to fans, encapsulating the message “never to let go of each other’s hands.” Jungkook recorded the song “as a token of gratitude for the boundless love from ARMY all over the world.”

The nostalgia of BTS Bang Bang Con is back. Bangtan Boys confirmed the date and airtime of the 2024 edition of Bang Bang Con. This year, fans will relive three past BTS concerts through the BTS Festa celebration.

June is the month of BTS Festa when the group presents something special to celebrate their anniversary with fans. The 2024 BTS Festa schedule includes Jungkook ‘s new song, “ Never Let Go ,” Jin’s special hugs event, and Bang Bang Con 2024.

BTS shares date and airtime of Bang Bang Con 2024

BTS Bang Bang Con 2024 will air on June 8, 12 p.m. KST, 4 a.m. BST, 5 a.m. CET, June 7, 11 p.m. ET, and 8 p.m. PT. Fans can watch the live stream of Bang Bang Con 2024 on the BangtanTV YouTube channel.

BTS' Live Video Consert 'Bang Bang Con 2024' Comes 8th for Free

SEOUL, June 5 (Yonhap) -- An event offering free live concert footage of BTS's remarkable journey is set to take place. Big Hit Music announced on the 4th that '2024 Bang Bang Con,' a concert series featuring BTS performances, will be held on BTS's official YouTube channel 'BANGTANTV' at noon on the 8th.

'Bang Bang Con' is an event where fans can watch past BTS concert footage for free. This year, the event will feature three live concert videos, including BTS's first solo concert from 2014.

The first solo concert video includes early tracks such as "No More Dream" and "N.O." BTS held their "BTS Live Trilogy Episode II: The Red Bullet" at the YES24 Live Hall in Seoul, performing for a total of 5,000 fans.

Following this, the event will showcase footage from "BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour The Final," held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul in 2017. During this concert, BTS engaged with fans through hits like "FIRE" and "DNA," drawing a total audience of 550,000.

The finale of 'Bang Bang Con' will be the "BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself The Final" concert held at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul in 2019. This tour spanned 24 cities and attracted over 2.06 million attendees.

Big Hit Music stated, "The highlight of this event is the live footage of BTS's legendary concerts and the growth of BTS alongside ARMY (BTS's fandom)."

Nicki Minaj is busy on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour, which just recently brought the rapper to Europe. As she plays to huge crowds all around the world, fans are returning to one of the tunes from her most recent full-length, and their collective love might turn the track into a hit all over again.

As of the time of writing, Minaj’s “Pink Friday Girls” is living inside the top 20 on the U.S. iTunes chart. The cut returned seemingly out of nowhere to the list of the bestselling tracks in America on the platform, which usually plays a major role in where titles land on a number of Billboard charts.

At present, “Pink Friday Girls” sits at No. 16. It’s been bounding up the iTunes chart throughout Friday (June 7), and as brand new releases begin to fall, Minaj’s release may continue to climb.

“Pink Friday Girls” is not a brand new release. Minaj first shared it with the world in December 2023, when she dropped her most recent full-length Pink Friday 2 . The tune is featured on the lengthy tracklist, and fans have selected it as a favorite all of a sudden.

In a week or so, “Pink Friday Girls” could return to the Billboard charts, if sales continue to hold. The track doesn’t need to become a blockbuster to bring Minaj back to several rankings, as it likely only needs to sell a few hundred copies, or perhaps a thousand or two, in order to perform well enough to find a place on a few lists.

“Pink Friday Girls” has already reached several Billboard rankings in the past. The tune debuted and peaked at No. 82 on the Hot 100, and it has thus far spent just one frame on the ranking of the most-consumed songs in the country.

The Pink Friday 2 cut stands the best chance of appearing on some of the company’s sales-only rankings next frame, especially those that are specific to Minaj’s chosen genres. The title already reached No. 2 on the Rap Digital Song Sales list this past March, thanks to another instance when fans sent it up the iTunes chart. If her Barbz–the name she’s given her following–continue to buy, the cut could reach other purchase-focused tallies, as well as a number of hip-hop and rap rosters.
