Nitro Circus Announces European Tour

Nitro Circus’ biggest moments, and some of its most notorious stacks, have come from the mind of action sports icon Travis Pastrana. For the Nitro Circus ringleader, pushing the envelope is just another day at the office. Pastrana also has an uncanny ability to encourage the Nitro crew to go big or go home… In some cases despite their better judgment! Now with the 2018 You Got This tour, Travis and company will ramp up the shenanigans with the greatest, craziest, funniest show in Nitro Circus history.

Kicking off 20 November, 2018 at Birmingham Arena, Nitro Circus: You Got This will visit 10 cities in six countries across the continent. Fans can get a jump on the action, though, with tickets on sale starting this Friday, 6 October at nitrocircus.com .     

“Nitro Circus is turning me loose! With You Got This, I’m putting all of my best - and worst - ideas into one huge show. Everything I’ve ever wanted to see live, we’re taking on the road,” Pastrana says. “Expect bigger, brand-new ramps and even more ridiculous stunts. It’s going to be unreal. Look out, though. There might be a few rough landings.”  

Nitro Circus: You Got This will feature Travis Pastrana along with the best athletes in FMX, BMX, Scooter and Inline, including multiple X Games medalists and several Nitro World Games champions. Pastrana will lead this all-star international roster as they attempt both never before seen tricks and undoubtedly ill-advised stunts in an audacious all-new production complete with huge new ramps and outrageous contraptions. This show will be wide open, with more thrills, more excitement and more irreverence than ever before. 

“You Got This is more than a tour, it’s a mindset,” Pastrana explains. “As Nitro’s ringleader, one of my jobs is to inspire guys to push themselves to go further, farther and faster thanthey thought they could. Sometimes, maybe more than they should! It’s a challenge, no doubt. But one we live for.”

New York, NY – Today, Nitro Circus and Round Room Live unveiled the first details of the action sports authorities’ 2023-24 tour. For the Nitro Circus 20th Anniversary Tour presented by PublicSq., the craziest show in live entertainment will bring the party back to indoor arenas for the first time in five years, starting in North America this fall. The tour kicks off October 10, 2023 in Bloomington, IL’s Grossinger Motors Arena. The next ten stops will include Anaheim, Oklahoma City, Tulsa and more, with additional dates to be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets for these first shows will go on sale next month, with fans having the opportunity to get their tickets first, prior to the general public, through a special pre-sale starting Tuesday, June 13th. Register at nitrocircus.com . The full public on-sale will follow on Friday, June 16th.

This tour will electrify live audiences from coast to coast as Nitro Circus runs it back, celebrating two decades of record-breaking thrills, death-defying spills and side-splitting shenanigans. Every night an elite roster of top riders will throw down, led by dual BMX and scooter threat Ryan “R-Willy” Williams, freestyle motocross (FMX) star Jackson “Jacko” Strong , WCMX pioneer Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham ,and more. Fans can also look forward to special guest visits from various Nitro legends at every tour stop.

The new production for the 20th Anniversary Tour includes Nitro Circus’ infamous 50-foot Giganta ramp alongside the next generation of FMX kickers and landers. These innovative setups will give athletes the tools to take action sports to new heights as they attempt huge, never-before-done tricks. Nitro’s daredevils will also push the boundaries of sanity revisiting some of the brand’s sketchiest stunts as well as jumping a host of new crazy contraptions.

Nitro Circus Ready To Rock Europe This Fall

If you are a fan of an adrenaline rush, then we have great news for you. After they finish rocking up North America, Nitro Circus is coming to Europe with all their mad stunts.

Nitro Circus has recently announced the European dates for their long-awaited You Got This tour and European fans will experience a whole new show when the circus rolls into their town after a two-year break. The show will kick off on 20 November in Birmingham and end on 9 December in Antwerp.

The show is currently performed in North America and will be hitting many cities until it wraps up on 23 June in Cincinnati, Ohio. Nitro Circus already has their own MTV show, an ED film and a DVD release and now a slot game is in the works.

This action sport collective is led by Travis Pastrana, featuring his friends who travel around the world riding dirtbikes and performing stunts. Pastrana is a pro FMX rider, rally car rider and former NASCAR driver and always the first who attempts any stunt he’s come up with.  Pastrana is World’s First in many stunts including barge-to-barge backflip on a motorbike. In London, he will attempt to backflip a 75-foot gap between two barges floating in the Thames River. Both will be 120-feet from the embarkment without any mooring lines tied to the shore or each other. He will put quite a breath-taking show for the London audience so make sure you’re in the first row to witness this.

He has uncanny ability to encourage his crew to go big or go home. The stunts designed for the European tour have been described as the greatest, craziest and funniest show in Nitro Circus history.

Travis explained that Nitro Circus is turning him loose and You Got This is just the show we’ve been waiting for.

“I’m throwing my best and worst ideas into one incredible two-hour show. Everything I’ve ever wanted to see live, we’re taking on the road. Expect bigger, brand-new ramps, even crazier stunts and so much more. It’s going to be unreal. Look out though, there might be a few rough landings.”

Headlining the tour that will visit the UK, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Belgium, Netherlands and Spain, will be Nitro creator 17-times X games medalist and action sports legend Travis Pastrana, in his first ever European tour.

Joining Pastrana will be the entire Nitro Circus crew from the hit MTV show and upcoming Nitro Circus 3D Movie including the world’s leading stunt woman, Jolene Van Vugt (CAN) and multi- record holders, Erik Roner (USA), Jim De Champ (USA), Special Greg (USA) and Dusty Wygle (USA), as well as some of the world’s best action sports athletes.

Nitro Circus Live is a two and a half hour fully choreographed action sports spectacular. Each show combines the biggest and best freestyle motocross (FMX) stunts with insane BMX and skateboard action, as well as the famous Nitro Circus crew performing outrageous feats on a crazy array of contraptions launched off the 50 foot high Nitro Gigant-A-Ramp.

Fans can expect to see everything from kids’ trikes, snow skis, tandem bikes and razor scooters through to shopping trolleys, a Barbie car and even a drinks cooler launched with skill off the Gigant-A-Ramp. The show also features spectacular choreographed FMX riding, including the 10 rider Nitro backflip combination train, which has to be seen to be believed.

Speaking about the tour today Nitro Circus ring leader Travis Pastrana said: “I have never toured Europe before and I am so pumped about the opportunity for us to perform live in front of huge crowds over there in so many different countries. Nitro is all about us pushing each other to the limit every night so you never know what is going to happen at one of our shows!”

It is the biggest production of its type to ever hit Europe with a huge cast of 35 performers. The show will completely blow your mind!”.

A state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar set has been created for the European tour, which will allow the massive production to perform on successive nights in different cities throughout Europe and a one-off show at the O2 in London. It is the first of its kind for an action sports event anywhere in the world and requires 10 trucks to transport the set.

Los Angeles (March 2, 2022) — For nearly two decades, Nitro Circus has been defined by the good, the bad, and the rad. This wild crew of action sports heroes, led by NBC America’s Got Talent: Extreme competitors Ryan “R Willy” Williams and the Contraption Kings plus Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham, has stunned crowds across the globe with an incandescent mix of world’s first tricks, bone-crushing fails and comedic moments. Now these thrill-loving hellraisers are back with a rip-roaring new live show: Good, Bad & Rad presented by A SHOC .

Produced by Nitro Circus, the tour’s initial routing will include 21 outdoor shows across North America kicking off June 2 with more stops to be added. Tickets for this first wave of dates will be available for purchase at nitrocircus.com beginning Wednesday, March 9 at 10 AM local time.

Branding a World Tour

You Got This! is a new Nitro Circus world tour that features their best athletes, including multiple X-Games medalists and several Nitro World Games champions. This all-star roster attempts both never before seen tricks and humorously ill-advised stunts.

Superbase Creative was approached to create the branding concept around this global tour, where we enlisted the help of Superbase collaborator Joe King to develop the illustrations that communicate the playful audacity this particular tour epitomizes.

Tour mastermind Travis Pastrana explains, “I’m throwing all of my best, and worst, ideas into one incredible two-hour show. Everything I’ve ever wanted to see live, we’re taking on the road. Expect bigger, brand-new ramps, even crazier stunts and so much more. It’s going to be unreal. Look out, though. There might be a few rough landings.”

As the name of the tour implies, “One of my jobs is to inspire guys to push themselves to go further, farther and faster than they thought they could. Sometimes, maybe more than they should!” says Pastrana.

To promote the European stops on the upcoming tour, Travis Pastrana and the Nitro Circus crew traveled to Europe where Pastrana performed the first-ever barge-to-barge jump on the River Thames in London.

Superbase Creative was hired to conceptualize and develop creative assets including the tour logo, graphics, promotional posters, event artwork, etc. We wanted to create an aesthetic that was quite different than what Nitro Circus had done in the past, and in harmony with the often tongue-in-cheek words of encouragement “You Got This!” (aka you’re totally going to eat $h*t!), we endeavored to create something that was fun and nostalgic, utilizing an illustration style akin to doodles on the notebook pages of a daydreaming kid in high school. Renowned artist Joe King was brought in to create the illustrations.

It has truly been an exciting honor to see this project evolve and eventually reach millions of Nitro Circus fans across the globe. In addition to this creative, Superbase also designed the Next Level Tour graphics for use worldwide.
